S and R

Family/Humor, drabble fic, Regulus' innocent question, T for implied fetish, and grammar mistakes.

I own nothing but the lame plot here.

"Hey, Sirius—"

"What?"

"—I've been wondering lately."

Sirius stared at his younger brother with clear bored face. "Something related to your House?"

The younger Black, Regulus, shook his head slowly. "It's about us."

This time, Sirius blinked in surprise. "Us? Like, you and I?" he asked while pointing at himself and Regulus.

A nod came from Regulus, and Sirius' left eyebrow rose. "About what?"

"You see, we're sibling."

Sirius nodded.

"You're the older, while I'm the younger."

Another nod.

"And what keeps me wondering is—" Regulus paused to make his brother a bit more curious, "—why did our parents named you 'Sirius' while I'm 'Regulus?"

"…pardon me?"

"Like, why did they named me 'R' while you're 'S'? Wasn't 'R' the 18th letter, while 'S' was the 19th letter?"

Oh. Sirius knew to where this conversation would go. Having an easily curious younger brother gave you this kind of risk—everyday. Even though Regulus was supposed to be 13 now…

"Do you know why, Sirius?" Regulus asked innocently, but he kept his stoic face on. That made the situation rather… amusing for Sirius.

Not knowing the real answer—or he just lazy to tell the truth to his brother—, Sirius replied with the first thing that crossed his mind. "Because they knew that I'm going to be a super 'S' when I entered Hogwarts. That's why. Problem solved."

Regulus' eyes narrowed. "…but why did they named me with a 'R'?"

"Because—"

"Why don't they named me after a star that starts with a 'M'?"

Sirius was lucky that he didn't drink anything. He stared at his younger brother with clear shock on his face, his body trembled as if he was seeing his brother transforming into a monster. Not bothering to answer Regulus' almost perverted question, he ran toward his mother's room while screaming as loud as he could ("MOM! WHO TAUGHT REGULUS THAT KIND OF THING?! WHO'S THE DAMNED CULPRIT WHO DARES TO STAIN HIS INNOCENT MIND?! WHO WAS IT?!"). Regulus did nothing but staring at his brother's leaving silently, and then shrugged his shoulder like nothing strange ever happened—like he never asked Sirius to answer that kind of question.

In the end, Sirius never knew who gave that information to Regulus.

Far away from Grimmauld Place 12, a certain girl with long, black curly hair was laughing maniacally after she saw what happened at her cousins' place from the crystal ball.

The end.
