Hey, readers! I'm X-Foxxie, and this is my first-ever FanFiction. It's named after the song 'Bulletproof' by Kerli, and you'll find out why later. I hope you enjoy, and please comment using constructive criticism. No flames, please.
THIS IS THE HUMAN TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE.
Most days they'd sit on the scorching hot asphalt, laughing as they flashed their middle fingers at passing cars, eating the cheap candies that she'd stolen from the corner store. She'd talk about how stupid this year's teachers were, and he'd talk about planes and flying and other things. They were never exactly on the same page, but they were always together. They'd grown up that way, raised together with the rest of the Seekers by a man so formally known as Megatron. She'd protected him from his brother and done her best to comfort him. He'd just been there when she needed someone, but wished he could do more. Their names were Slipstream and Skywarp.
"What time is it?" Skywarp asked nervously. He was always nervous that they'd miss the afternoon bell, technically they weren't allowed off base.
"Some time," Slipstream flashed her clawed finger at an SUV. "And quit worrying so much."
"S…sorry…"
"Ugh, it's fine. And, really, we probably should be going." She pulled herself up off of the ground and offered a hand to her adopted brother. "Come on."
When they reached the Nemesis, they saw a small purple sports car parked beside the base's huge, cast-iron gate.
"Swindle's a little early." Slipstream muttered, sticking a violet card into the recognition slot. "Wonder what he wants."
As soon as the large front door was opened, the two could see why. There was a small crowd gathered in the foyer, as well as Megatron in his fine, grey tailored suit. They were standing around a scruffy-looking teenager being held up by the scruff of the neck by Swindle.
"…Found him on the streets, My Liege. I can give you a good deal-
Megatron cleared his throat loudly. "That won't be necessary, I'm afraid. What could someone like him possibly do?"
"Oh, he can do a lot. He's a Seeker."
"Let go of me, will you?" The little Seeker demanded in an unusually high, nails-on-a-chalkboard voice.
"We have plenty of Seekers here, thank you." Megatron said curtly.
"Yes, but word on the street says that he's the best."
Just when it appeared that Megatron was about to turn Swindle down yet again, a tall, lean man with a visor over both eyes came walking into the room.
"Ah, Shockwave, you're just in time. Could you kindly escort these two outside?"
"Starscream?" Shockwave's mouth hung open dumbly.
"So you know him?" Swindle said, looking eager.
"He's my cousin."
"Could you please let go of me?" Starscream struggled from Swindle's practiced grip. "And since when do people go around selling other people, anyway?"
"Let go of the boy, Swindle," Megatron commanded "I want to examine him myself." Starscream looked slightly terrified as Megatron took his face into his own, steely possession.
"Well?"
"Young, not bad looking either. You say he's the best?"
"Would someone please listen to me?"
"Yes, the best. And since Shockwave here's his cousin, I can give you a very good deal."
"I'll take him."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Skywarp muttered. "That…was weird."
"Tell me about it." Slipstream said, waltzing off upstairs. "Wonder if that white trash kid really is the best?"
"I dunno."
"Well, let's see him beat me."
