Saria's eyes fluttered open to find her mother, father, Gano, and some other villagers sitting by her bed.

"Mommy..." Saria groaned in a weak voice. She sounded like she was croaking in a way, and her eyes were a little droopy.

Saria's mother ran to her daughter and hugged her. "Oh Saria! I thought you wouldn't wake up!" she said happily.

"Why did you think that, Mommy?" Saria asked, pulling away.

"Oh...that doesn't matter. Listen, honey, I need to speak with the villagers outside and I'll leave you with Gano. I'm sorry I have to leave! I love you, Sar!"

"But....ok I love you too!"

Saria looked around to find Gano. Just as she was about to give up, Gona shyly appeared behind the door. He looked at her lying on the couch and felt ashamed. Saria could sense this and said, "Gano it wasn't your fault! We're best friends and we'll always be!"

Gano considered this, and Saria could see a small smile creeping up on his face. He walked toward Saria as she closed her eyes. Gano shook her a little and Saria woke up again.

"Hey Gano...I have a cool plan! Please go outside to see what my parents are talking about!" Saria suggested. Gano smiled in a mischevious way and nodded. He crept out and hid behind some tools beside Saria's house and listened to the adults talk.

"We're running out of Deku medicine! If we run out then Saria could die!"

"Well we have to tell her about her past and where she is from before anything happens"

"But she might get mad and run away"

"If she does, she will thank us later for explaining it to her"

"I guess your right. It's time"

Gano heard this and ran into the house through the back door.
