Chapter two! Is Go Go okay? What does this robot want? Find out here! For all of my new readers information, keep an eye on my profile page: I post updates there regularly about when the next chapters are being uploaded and if they're going to be late. Also, I pride myself in carefully reading and replying to every single review I receive. So, here goes!

Hiccupisnotuseless: Heya! Long time, no read! I could've guessed you'd be the first one to read and review my new story. I'm glad to hear from you again. I know it's no good trying to say how good a story is by the first chapter, but I put a lot of thought into the intro, and I just hoped it would be interesting! AS for the T rating, I know Big Hero 6 was a kids movie, but so is HTTYD, and I managed T ratings on a few of those. I just know what I'm like for describing wounds and gore in far too much detail. Take care!

Hedgi: I know the feeling, I feel the same way about stories!

Guest: Thanks a lot! You won't wait too long.

Frostystuffs: You'll have to get used to that, I'm afraid; I do that quite often! Sorry! Also, thanks

AwesomeWriter2013: Thank you!

ActorCat27: Thanks! Don't worry, I'm continuing!

Revy330: I know, I don't think it would happen often

Guest: Thanks!

"Go Go!" Hiro yelped, his heart skipping a beat. "Baymax, stop! Don't shoot!"

The robot was one step ahead of him, having already identified his ally and dropped his arm to his side. His friends were frozen where they stood, looks of horror and fear contorting their faces as they stared at their fallen comrade. She was slumped in the metal monster's grip like a broken toy, arms dangling useless, head down.

"I-Is she...?" Honey Lemon began, all of her usual joy flushed out in a instant at the horrifying sight. Baymax's head tilted forward slightly as he initiated a scan.

"There are signs of slight concussion. However, her internal body structure is undamaged," Baymax assured her.

There was a grinding of old metal joints as the enemy robot took another step forward. The creature had rusted armour plates along its shoulders, formerly some sort of blue colour, but now turned to grey by years of neglect. Loose wires hung like broken tendons along the length of its limbs; green; red and black. Baymax stood his ground, undeterred by the screech of its rusty metal jaw as it opened and closed, a jaw that was made for crushing and grinding; but what it might have been used for was anyone's guess. One eye flickered ominously.

Movement caught Hiro's eye. Go Go's arm was rising gradually upwards towards her face, reaching shakily for her visor to flick it upwards, before she realised it was no longer there. She slowly, painfully lifted her head, squinting against the harsh, flickering light. A rush of relief, and then anger flooded through Hiro's body. He couldn't bear to see one of his friends hurt like that.

That same grinding squeal echoed off the slimy walls as it took another step, then another, but though their team retreated behind them, both Baymax and Hiro continued to stand their ground, the latter's face curling into a cruel, furious snarl. Baymax detected the same raise in heart rate and testosterone levels that his companion had experienced seconds before ripping out his healthcare chip and ordering him to kill Robert Callaghan, their former enemy. He could feel the way the boy's upper body was heating and that his hands were beginning to shake.

"Hiro, I am becoming concerned for your welfare," he declared.

The boy himself was about to snap something abrupt at the robot when he felt a light touch on his bare ankle. Honey was standing behind him, looking up at him with wide eyes.

"Hiro, please, don't do anything reckless..." She implored. He looked past her to the others, who too were staring up at him, something resembling worry in their eyes. The boy genius bit his lip, ashamed, then took a breath to try to calm himself down. He had to be thinking clearly.

"Let her go!" He demanded calmly (or, about as calmly as he could manage). The boy locked eyes with his friend, who had seemingly just realised that they were all there. Delirious, Go Go tried shaking her head to clear it, but it only made her head-ache worse. On the bright side, at least she could just about work out what was going on. Now all she had to do was give herself a chance to find an escape route.

"She will die," The monster croaked, making the entire team jump. There was something deeply unnerving about the way it spoke; the crunch-of-gravel voice; the unsteady way in which its tone lilted.

"I will not!" The mechanics student replied stubbornly.

"She will die" It insisted. Hiro bit his lip again.

"Let her go, or we'll take action!" He tried to reason with it.

"She will die," It replied blankly.

The young boy scowled deeply. He could feel the fury lapping up his throat from his stomach. How dare this slimy old rust-bucket threaten him and his friends?

"Action it is." He growled. "Baymax, take out its legs!"

The robot diligently lifted his arm again. Those same rocket flaps flicked open, filling with bright purple-blue flame as it was propelled at lightning speed into the other robot's legs. It crashed helplessly to the ground, its iron fist falling open. Seizing the opportunity, Go Go wriggled free and scrambled to her feet, stumbling into the waiting arms of Wasabi, who grabbed her to stop her from falling down again.

"Are you okay?" He asked, his voice quivering with concern.

Go Go snorted. "I'll be fine," she assured him, patting his upper arm almost patronisingly.

The mechanism groaned and squeaked as it pushed itself back onto its feet. Its neon blue eyes bored into Hiro, who shrugged off the glare with a triumphant grin. The rest of his team was rallying together around Baymax, ready to drive the robot away. The cherry-red fist shuddered, then returned to its owner

"You can't say I didn't warn you," The boy genius smirked.

"You will die," The blue machine declared flatly. Its arms flew up, unnaturally fast, and it clanked towards them furiously. Hiro's face dropped. He watched its ridiculously outdated feet slam into the cobbles and smash them, sending cracks snaking out like cobwebs with every step it took.

"Baymax-!" He yelped, only to be cut off when the enemy suddenly stopped directly before them. It was like its battery had just cut out. The boy peered closer. Had it short circuited? No, it can't have; its eyes were still on, glowing that same harsh blue. He leaned closer, towards its hands, still outstretched towards him as though trying to strangle him. The entire bot was frozen.

"What the-?" He breathed incredulously.

"You will die." It repeated. Yet, still it stood, completely stationary.

Hiro's blood ran cold. "It's a decoy!" He yelled, spinning around just in time to watch another bot smash into the back of Baymax, throwing both to the ground meters away. A yell forced its way through his tightened lips as the magnetic clamps released and his back crashed into the wall. He had designed them to let go if Baymax experienced a substantial impact such as this so that he wouldn't be crushed, as he would have been then, he realised, as Baymax came to rest lying on his back.

"Hiro!" He heard Honey Lemon call his name, looking up dimly to watch this new, hulking figure turn to target his friends. He gasped for breath, restoring the air that had been knocked from his lungs. How had that thing sneaked up on them like that? The boy genius was sure they would have heard it walking, with those same, heavy, outdated metal feet.

The team sprang into action, Fred leaping into the air with the help of his spring-loaded boots and unleashing a devastating fire attack. The light from his flames brightened the dark alley for a second, long enough for Hiro to pick out the form of yet another of those machines whizzing towards them, propelled through the air by a pair of rocket thrusters, similar to the ones he had installed in Baymax's suit.

"Look out!" He screamed, jerking upright. Honey Lemon must have caught sight of it, for the next second, it was engulfed in a cloud of blueish foam that covered its oculars and blinded it. The machine flew over the top of them, crashing into the wall above Hiro. It would have crushed him, had it not been for Baymax sweeping him out of the way at the last second.

"Whoa, that was close!" He exclaimed, looking first at the heap of metal beginning to stand again before him, wiping blue foam from its eyes, then over his shoulder, to where his own healthcare bot was standing, having just placed him gently on the floor. "Come on, buddy. Let's distract this one while the others take that one out."

He took a flying leap, scrambling back up onto his nurse-bot's shoulders, engaging clamps and then leaning forward to shout, "Hit him, Baymax!" One cherry-red fist followed the other as they smashed into the blue robot, then returned to their owner, clicking neatly back into place. Its oculars focused on them as Baymax engaged thrusters and shot upwards, out of the alley mouth and up into the smoggy sky. Hiro looked back to be sure it was following. Out in the light, he could see that this new robot must be some sort of updated version, newer and slicker. Its armour was still metallic blue, all of its underparts spray-painted glossy black. This one even had all of its wires tucked in.

"Hiro!" Wasabi's voice buzzed harshly in the boy genius' ear, "Where do you think you're going?"

"I'm doing you guys a favour! Baymax can take this guy; we'll be back before you know it." Hiro assured him. "How's Go Go doing?"

"She's fine. In fact, I think she might be winning the fight for us..." There was a moment of silence as Wasabi ran something through his mind. "I think I have a plan."

"Great! Uh, what is it?" The boy was curious.

"Honey and I can probably take out this one on our own; we don't need Go Go or Fred. I'm gonna send them after the thief. They can tie him up and leave him for SFPD, then come back and meet us."

"Sounds good, Wasabi. I'll keep you updated with what's happening up here." Hiro turned back to find the other robot rather a lot closer than he'd anticipated. Baymax responded to his command and put on a burst of speed.

"Don't forget, Hiro; if you need a hand, just call us, okay?"

"Me? Need a hand? Thanks for the concern, but honestly, what could possibly go wrong?"

Hiro! God dammit, you know you should never say that right at the end of a chapter! You know, for a genius, he's not that smart, huh? Everyone knows how foreshadowing works! Right?

...Right?
