I'm back! I don't own OHSHC in any way shape or form. Enjoy! ^.^
I walked for a while towards my apartment. It didn't take me a long time to get there, so I was glad and in a good mood.
I reached the door and lifted the mat where I usually keep my key, but I found it wasn't there. When I saw that, I was deflated like a balloon.
"Why isn't my key here?" I wondered out loud, "I was having the perfect day too…"
I just stood in front of the door, thinking of what I should do.
"I got it!"
I took a bobby pin out of my hair, close to my bangs that were parted on the right.
"I'm glad I brought this today."
I stuck it into the lock and picked the lock on my door. It took me about 5 minutes.
"Yes!" I said in triumph, "I don't have to go to Tamaki's place without anything!"
I opened my door and walked in my room. Inside, I found that everything was completely normal. I didn't have a lot of belongings that I took with me, so there wasn't very much to pack up. I grabbed my suitcase and packed some clothes, one pair of shoes, my wallet, my white teddy bear, a few books, and a few picture of my mother, Tamaki, my father, and I. I also had my guitar case, a few music sheets, and CD's.
"It's weird that someone stole my key, but not anything else…" I muttered as I finished packing up."
I sighed. "Oh well, at least I was able to get all of my stuff."
I wrote a note to the landlord that said I had found my brother and another place to stay.
"That should be it," I said.
I looked back at the room before I walked out. Thank you, I thought, For everything.
I put on a black hoodie and left my apartment, the room I would see for the very last time.
As I was walking down the sidewalk, it started to rain.
"Well this is just gonna be a crummy night," I said to myself, "It's a long way to my brother's mansion, I have no umbrella, and no money for the bus! How much worse is this going to get?"
I sighed as I kept walking. I yawned. My eyelids were getting heavier with each step I took.
Why, I thought, Why am I so tired? Since when did I get tired so easily? I'm not even close to Tamaki's mansion yet!
A truck drove past me and I got doused in water. As if I wasn't wet already. It was pretty cold for being more like early spring. Perfect time to be walking around soaking wet with no money and no transportation.
"Wait a minute," I said, "Why didn't I think of this sooner? I'm such a dummy."
I took my phone out to call Tamaki, only to find that it was dead.
"Great," I shouted, "You just had to die now, didn't you?!"
I took a deep breath in, looked up at the sky, and yelled. It only lasted a few seconds, but it felt good.
"Now then," I said, regaining my composure, "I just have to get to Tamaki's place as soon as I can! All right, time to put some energy in my step!"
Having a goal in mind, I walked to where Tamaki lived with more energy. A little bit after I started walking with more energy, my stomach growled.
I closed my eyes and moaned. "No money for the bus also means no money for food, doesn't it," I said to myself, "That's great."
I took me a while to get to Tamaki's house, but I made it. I was walking up the steps to ring the doorbell, but my vision went black.
"Hey Kitsune! Hey! Wake up!"
"Ungh."
I groaned as I opened my eyes. I found Tamaki's face extremely close to mine. I jumped back as far as I could in the bed.
"What the heck are you doing Tamaki?!" I yelped. I felt a pang in my stomach and held it.
"Right," I mumbled, "I haven't eaten for two days."
Tamaki looked at me with wide eyes. "Why haven't you eaten in that long?!"
I grinned sheepishly. "No money."
"Then why didn't you eat at school yesterday?!"
"Preoccupied with work."
"You are honestly just…unbelievable."
A maid came in and asked, "Excuse my interruption, but would you like some food?"
I was probably a little too excited at that point. I called my hands together in front of my face.
"Yes pleeeaaase!"
I bet I looked like one of those super happy chibis with praying hands in front of their face.
The maid laughed. "I thought you would say that, so here."
She held out a tray of food in front of me. It had a lot of eggs, toast, bacon, orange juice, and strawberry and crème crêpes.
"Thank you for this meal," I whispered.
I immediately started eating the eggs. They were really cheesy, just how I like them. The toast was really buttery and delicious. The last thing I ate was the strawberry crêpes, my absolute favorite. To finish my awesome breakfast, I drank my glass of orange juice.
I wiped my mouth with a napkin and looked at Tamaki, who was looking at me with wide eyes.
"That's the fastest I've seen anyone eat."
"How did you know I liked all this food?"
"I just thought you might still like the same food like when we were kids."
"Well, you were right."
Tamaki stepped back, revealing that he was in his uniform.
"Well," he said, "Get ready; it's time for school."
"Ok."
Tamaki and the maid left the room, and I got out of the bed and walked over to my suitcase. I knelt down, opened it, and took out the first combination of clothes that I found. I put on a black tank top, khaki shorts, and my black lace up boots. I stood in front of the mirror and brushed my long, curly dark honey hair. I took pieces next to my bangs and brought them to the back of my head and clipped them in place with a small black clip. I combed my bangs so they would clearly be parted to the right.
I took a few steps back and looked at myself in the mirror. My hair was just how I wanted it to be, and the clothes I picked complemented my somewhat tan skin tone and purple eyes just how I wanted them to.
"Perfect!" I said smiling.
I opened the door and walked down the stairs to where Tamaki was waiting.
In the limo, Tamaki looked at me and said, "I hope you didn't work too hard getting your outfit together."
I looked at him skeptically. "Why?"
"Today, the Host Club is going to be designed like Bali," he said smiling with his eyes sparkling.
"Ok," I said, "I really just grabbed whatever I saw first."
Tamaki's face was completely red, just like a tomato.
"You just threw it together, and it looks so cute!" he said trying to grab me.
"H-hey!" I said dodging, "We're in a car! Do it when we get to school!"
"Ok," he said.
I gave a sigh of relief.
"Master Suoh," said the driver, "We have arrived at Ouran Academy."
"Thank you," said Tamaki, "Well, let's go Kit."
"Yeah," I said, "Thank you."
We arrived at the Host Club room. Hikaru, Kaoru, and Kyoya were already there. They were all dressed in tropical outfits. Kyoya had a bag and handed it to Tamaki, and Tamaki handed it to me.
"This has your outfit in it," he explained, "Why don't you go and change?
"Alright," I said taking the bag, "Be back in a few."
I held the bag like a purse and walked to the bathroom. Once I was in a stall, I opened the bag and immediately sweatdropped. The outfit the Hosts wanted me to wear was a white top of something that looked like a bathing suit, and a long white and red skirt. The top was just like a bathing suit, but the fabric went up to the left side of my neck. The skirt was white at the top and changed to red with a type of gradient effect. There was a hair tie in the side pocket of the bag, and I put my hair into a high ponytail. I walked out of the bathroom and into the Host Club again.
When I got there, Honey and Mori had arrived, and were in their costumes. The only one who was missing was Haruhi.
All of the Hosts looked really great. Since Tamaki is the King of the Host Club, he was dressed more like a King than the rest of the Hosts. In other words, he was the only one with something that looked more like a shirt.
"Hey guys," I said.
"Wow Kit-chan!" said Honey, "You look really cute!"
"Really?"
"Yes," said Kyoya, "I think all of our male guests will like how you look."
I blushed. "Don't make it sound like that," I said angrily.
I looked over at Hikaru and Kaoru, waiting to see their reaction. Only knowing them for a day, I knew they would probably laugh at something like that. But to my surprise, they weren't doing anything. Hikaru was looking away with a blushing face, and Kaoru was just looking at Hikaru.
That's weird, I thought, Wouldn't they have a different reaction to that?
I rolled my eyes and looked away.
The Host Club is now open for business.
Male and female guests started walking into the Host Club.
Three guys, my first appointment walked up to me and said, "Wow, you look really great Kit!"
"Thanks," I said, "Are you guys planning to go to the ball tonight?"
"Well," said the first guy, "We don't usually go for that type of thing, so probably not."
"Ok," I said, "I guess I won't know what to do without guys as awesome as you…"
They all blushed, and the second guy said, "Well, I guess we can try going. Especially for you Kit."
"Thanks," I said smiling, "I appreciate it guys."
The rest of the day went mainly like that: me asking the male guests to come to the ball. In all honesty, I think that the ball is really stupid, even if the Host Club does it annually. I like that my brother has found something to do in his free time, but this is sometimes just too much.
The sun was setting by the time all the customers had left.
"Alright gentlemen and lady," said Tamaki, "The ball is tonight, and we all must attend!"
Haruhi's eyes went wide. "I don't have to go to this ball right? I was planning not to come, and this has nothing to do with my quota, so I'm gonna stay home."
"All members are required to attend," said Kyoya, "If you don't come, your quota will be doubled."
"And!" said Tamaki, "We'll reveal that you're a girl! If you want to be a gentleman so badly, you have to show us how far you are willing to go! I order you to master the waltz by the time of the ball!"
"Um Tamaki," I said, "I don't have to learn how to dance, do I? I was planning just to talk and hang out with the guests, and maybe play some music?"
Tamaki's eyes sparked. "You two must learn how to dance to the waltz! I am your king and command you to do so!"
Haruhi and I mumbled, "Fine…"
One of Haruhi's guests came in and started teaching Haruhi how to lead the dance, and how to dance.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Kaoru whisper something to Hikaru, and then push him out of his chair. I saw that he was clearly blushing, and trying to act like he wasn't.
"So I hear you need help learning how to dance Kitty," he said.
A tick mark appeared on my head. I gave Hikaru a cold stare.
"I thought I told you not to call me Kitty," I said, "Foxes aren't cats; they're part of the Canidae family, which includes dogs."
Hikaru shrugged. "Wow, I didn't know I asked for a science lesson."
Hikaru started to walk away. I got an even bigger tick mark on my head. "Fine just show me how to dance," I muttered.
I saw the smallest smirk find it's way onto Hikaru's face. Why does he have to be the only Host free to teach me? I asked myself. It's not like the rest of them are busy. Kyoya-senpai is just writing in his book, Honey is eating cake, Mori isn't doing anything, Tamaki is slouching in the corner, and Kaoru is just watching us!
The rest of the afternoon was spent with Hikaru teaching me how to waltz, and Haruhi's guest was showing her how to dance.
"Do you usually dance?" asked Hikaru.
"Yeah," I said, "But I don't usually dance to ballroom music, and I don't do it that often."
"I should've known," he said.
"What's that supposed to mean?!"
"Well, you're catching on fast, but at the same time aren't very good at it."
Hikaru started laughing. I held down my screaming urge to tackle him.
"Well thanks for the vote of confidence," I said, "You're gonna regret that Hitachiin."
"Oh I'm so scared."
"I'm just as good at pranks as you and Kaoru; I'm not a girl that just sits and takes everything that guys like you have to give."
In the middle of Hikaru finishing to teach me how to dance, Tamaki said, "Ok gentlemen, time to go home and get ready for our ball!"
"Tamaki," I said in a last attempt to avoid the ball, "I don't really have a dress for this, so can I not go?"
Tamaki smiled and snapped his fingers. Hikaru and Kaoru grabbed me and dragged me out of the music room.
"H-hey!" I shouted in protest, "What the hell are you guys doing?!"
"What do you think?" asked Kaoru.
"We're getting you a dress," finished Hikaru.
I sweatdropped, realizing that no matter what, I was going to go to that ball.
Hikaru and Kaoru dragged me into the limo and practically threw me in there.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"To our mansion," said Hikaru.
"Our mother is a fashion designer," said Kaoru, "So she probably has a dress for you for the ball."
I sweatdropped again. "Of course," I muttered to myself.
When we got to where the twins lived, Hikaru and I got out, but Kaoru grabbed my wrist and held me back. He pulled me back down into the limo and whispered into my ear.
"At the ball tonight, Hikaru is going to dance with you."
I scooted away from Kaoru. "What the heck does that mean?!"
Kaoru didn't answer me. Instead, he pushed me out and we both ran after Hikaru.
Hope you guys enjoyed!
