When Miss Knots showed up at the Dillydale Theater, part of Miss Somersault's arm got stuck in her. This caused the transporter machine to malfunction, so Mr. Clever pressed the button, sending Miss Knots back. But Miss Somersault got dragged through the transporter as well! When Miss Knots appeared in the machine, Miss Somersault's head was sticking out of Miss Knots's head on her right, and Miss Knots's left arm and right leg were Miss Somersault's. Not only that, but they were in control of each other's arms! "Hello again, Mr. Clever!" said Miss Knots. "I don't know what it is," said Miss Somersault, "but something feels different about me." "Yeah," said Miss Knots. "Me too." Then Miss Somersault noticed Miss Knots using the blue hand. "What are you doing with my hand?" she asked, pointing with the orange hand, which she then noticed, and asked, "What am I doing with your hand?" Then she realized what was happening. "We're all mixed up together! This is horrible! I have to practice for a play today!" "It's not that bad," said Miss Knots, but Miss Somersault paid no attention. "Mr. Clever," she said, "was this your doing? You've got to get us separated!" "Well," said Mr. Clever, "I wish I knew how." "You have to do something," said Miss Somersault. "I can't stay stuck to her!" "I wonder what would happen if I tried zapping you back in the transporter," said Mr. Clever. "Good idea," said Miss Somersault. "Let's try it." And with that, Miss Knots and Miss Somersault were zapped back in the transporter.

What do you think will happen to them? Will it separate them? Or not? Speaking of which, what do you think this story parodies?
