Once the door shut closed, everyone in the light music club turned to stare at me, huge grins on their faces, with an exception of Mio.

"You like her~" Ritsu teased, waggling her eyebrows for added effect, her arms crossed in a sassy like matter.

'Is it that obvious?' l opened my mouth to retort, but was stopped by Mio.

"Shouldn't we practice? I mean, she will probably want to see us play something for her." Mio asked, eyebrows furrowed.

"Nah, I doubt it." Ritsu reasoned. "She probably saw us perform at the welcoming concert." She waved her hand back and forth, "Besides, we didn't even have cake yet."

"Yeah!" I joined the conversation. "I can't practice without Mugi-chan's delicious cakes!" My hand fist pumped, in enthusiasm.

I felt Ritsu put a hand on my shoulder before I felt myself being pulled towards her. "See, Yui gets it!"

We all turned to Tsumugi, leaving her to decide what we should do. She looked troubled for a second, then quickly regained her posture, determination laced her voice. "I agree with Mio-chan. She would most likely want to join a club where she could be compatible with all the members."

Me and Ritsu whined, only because we knew she was right. I trudged over to the small cluster of desks on the other side of the room. Taking a seat on my normal chair, I looked at them. "Can't we at least have a little more tea?"

After a very eventful band practice, filled with excessive whining from me, that took up the rest of the afternoon. Mio decided to wrap things up, and stayed behind with Ritsu to make sure she properly locked the doors. I said my goodbyes before I left, Gitah slung over my shoulders. Tsumugi followed behind me, as we walked down the familiar staircase. Gliding my hands over the turtle, I heard Tsumugi talk.

"Yui-chan?"

"Whats up Mugi-chan?" I glanced at her.

I saw her fidget with the hem of her skirt, as we walked out the gates of the school. It was dark outside, so it seemed to be around seven o'clock. "Dont you think Azusa-chan looks a little...unusual?" I heard her say, hesitantly.

I pondered over my answer,'To be honest...yes, why are her eyes red? And why is she so pale?' "N-no not really." I stuttered. 'I'm sure she'll tell us why if we ask...'

"O-okay." She said awkwardly. We walked a couple more blocks before we arrived at her stop. Instantly returning to my enthusiastic self, I waved to her and said my goodbye. She waved back, looking slightly less troubled than before. I watched her walk towards the train and walk inside before the doors shut closed. I turned around to begin walking the familiar path home. I took a few steps towards the direction of my house, before I realized, that I'm walking alone at night. 'Its exactly like those abduction stories I hear on TV.' Quickly realizing the danger I could possibly be in, I started to walk a little faster to my house. Suddenly very scared.

Since I lived fairly close to a forest, there were many branches and twigs on the sidewalk. I walked in eerie silence and jumped suddenly when I heard a twig snap a few feet behind me, like someone following me. I brushed it off, thinking that some kind of animal must've stepped on it or something.

Then I heard another twig break, slightly closer to me this time. Scared for my life, since I had another block to walk by before I get to mine, I spun around. My eyes staring intently around.

To my surprise, no one was there. But that just fueled my paranoia. I could have sworn someone was staring at me. I spun back around intent to get home as quickly as possible. After walking home for what seemed like hours, I arrived in front of my house. Walking up to the porch I fumbled with my keys before I opened the door quickly shutting it after I looked behind me, sighing with relief when I didn't see anyone.

Walking in, I noticed that the telivision was on in the living room, I faintly heard it mention something about supernatural creatures. 'Ui must be watching horror movies again...'

"Ui! I'm home!" I yelled. I smiled as I saw her face pop out of the kitchen doorway. "Welcome home Onee-chan!" She greeted, turning around to continue cooking. "Dinner's almost ready." She said, stirring something that looked like soup.

"Okay, let me put my stuff away, and I'll be right down." I called already dragging my feet up the stairs.

After setting Gitah down, and changing my clothes, I made my way downstairs to find my sister already waiting on the table. Taking a seat in front of her, we both murmured our thanks.

"So Onee-chan," Ui started. "I heard you have a new bandmate."

"Mmm hmmphh!" I said, nodding furiously, my mouth full. "Her-"

"Onee-chan!" Ui scolded me. "Not with your mouth full!"

I swallowed, grinning sheepishly, before continuing,"Her name is Azusa."

Ui looked thoughtful for a moment, before nodding "Yeah, I know Onee-chan." She started, "Me and Jun-chan hang out with her during lunch, we have the same homeroom."

I nodded, "We're gonna perform for her tomorrow." I said excitedly. "Hopefully she'll like it." I smiled.

"Is that why you came home so late?" Ui asked, suddenly very serious.

"Yeah, we've been practicing all day."

"Onee-chan... have you heard what's been on the news lately?" Ui asked me, concerned laced her usually calm voice.

"No, I don't usually like watching stuff like that, it's too boring." I pointed out. "Why?"

Ui looked scared. Concerned I leaned foward,"Ui, what have you heard on the news?"

Ui shook her head. "N-nothing, just please don't come home late anymore." She said. "Please?"

Giving her a suspicious look, I nodded.

Finishing up my food, I thanked Ui, and ran up the stairs, tripping on the last one before I regained my balance. I Quickly decided to take a bath, since I had to go to bed soon. Turning on the bath, as I watched it fill up with water. My mind wandering on what Ui could've seen on the news.

I listened to the rain as it pattered down my bedroom windows, still pitch black outside. Pit pat pit pat. Like a soft lullaby. My eyes felt heavy, falling under the spell, my eyes closed. As my breaths of air became more rhythmatic...

"Onee-chan!"

"Aah!" I tumbled out the bed, my arms outstretched to break my fall. 'Morning already?' Getting up, I gave a very concerned looking Ui a smile. She smiled back, leaving the doorpost, I heard her walk downstairs. Yawning, I stretched my arms, I walked towards the bathroom. Taking a glance at my reflection, I grabbed my green toothbrush.

A short while later, I was walking down stairs, hairpins in place, and uniform properly put on. Taking a glance at the time, I realized I had plenty of time to go to school.

"Good morning onee-chan." Ui greeted me. "Im heading to school now."

"Okay Ui." I nodded.

I watched as she walked out the door, "Your breakfast is on the counter!" She called back, before she locked the door.

Walking towards the kitchen, I saw my breakfast wrapped neatly on the counter. 'Thank you Ui!' I thought gratefully.

'Looks like I'm not going to be late today.' I chuckled to myself. Walking towards our bands meeting spot. I saw three figures waiting patiently for me. As I walked closer I saw Mio face palm, as Ritsu flailed her arms around. Mugi softly chuckling, her hand over her mouth. "Good morning guys!" I greeted them waving my arms, a smile on my face.

"Private! Where were you?" Ritsu demanded, she immediately stopped flailing her arms at Mio.

"Sorry captain!" I saluted. "I was eating breakfast sir!"

"Geez Ritsu, calm down she's actually early today." Mio responded exasperated. She looked at me,"Good morning Yui." She smiled.

"Good morning Yui-chan." I heard Mugi say. "Shall we go now?" She aked us.

"Yeah, lets go, me and Yui have to drop off our instruments, before we head to class.

We all walked together, talking animatedly with each other, about topics ranging from famous Musicians to Aliens, that had Mio cowering in the corner of the sidewalk for five minutes, while Mugi stroked her back reassuringly.

Actually arriving on time for once, we started heading up to the clubroom to leave our instruments, but we happened to walk by a extremely agitated Sawa-chan, who seemed to have bags under her eyes. "Sensei? Why are you so... Tired?" Mio asked slightly wary, as if the teacher could snap at her at any second. Our teacher shot her dead tired looking eyes at us, brightening up slightly as she glanced at Mio, a devious grin suddenly plastered onto her face. "I've been up all night, making costumes for my favorite club." I heard her say, mischeviously.

'Uh oh.'

We saw our teacher walk over to her desk, and pull out a light blue frilly maid outfit, out of one of the huge drawers. "I have one for each of you, color coded too! So you can wear it at your next concert." She said, while dangerously staring down a frightened Mio.

I walked over to her desk , and looked down into the drawer. A yellow one... A pink one... A red one... Thats three, what about Azusa? "How about Azusa?" I asked, my eyebrows raised as looked at my teacher.

"Azusa?" She looked at me incredulously. "Who's that?"

I looked at Ritsu, who was recieving a death glare from Mio. "You didn't tell her?" Mio said. I heard Ritsu laugh nervously, "Noooo...ow!"

The drummer fell silent as she sported a new lump on her head. I chuckled inwardly at her somber expression. I turned to our teacher, "Azusa is our new bandmember, she joined yesterday." I clarified.

"Oh, I see..." Sawa-chan started. "Any... Interesting attributes?" She asked innocently.

Immediately knowing where this was going, I tried to give her the most less embarrasing quality about my adorable kohai. "U-um... She's kinda reminds me of kittens?" I said, rather uncomfortably. Before she could respond, Mio excused herself. "Sorry Sensei, but the bell is going to ring soon, we should drop off our instruments."

"Oh yeah, okay come to class before the bell rings." She said distractedly, grabbing something out of her drawer quickly, my eye faintly caught something black, and furry. before she walked out the door.

Continuing our journey to the clubroom we pushed the door open. Needless to say I was surprised to see Azusa sitting on the long chair by the whiteboard, tuning her Candy Apple Red Fender Mustang. Her focused gaze met mine, before they softened. "Hello Senpais." She smiled.

"Hello Azusa-chan." Mugi greeted her. Followed by Ritsu and Mio, who set their stuff down before taking their seats behind Azusa. 'She really is like a kitten.' I thought as I observed her, imagining cat ears placed on her head. Already coming up with a nickname. 'Azu-nyan.' Though, that seemed kinda rude to say, since I just met her yesterday...

"Morning Azusa, what are you doing her so early?" I asked, setting Gitah down, and taking a seat next to her. She turned her head to look at me, her red eyes glinting. "I thought I should drop off my guitar here, so I wouldn't have to carry it around with me." Setting her guitar down, to look back up at me. Her eyes never leaving mine. Desperate to look anywhere else but her eyes, my gaze traveled down to her neck. Spotting something unusual... A bandaid? Why was there a bandaid on the left side of her neck? Did she hurt herself? As if following my gaze, Azusa's hand covered her neck. "Don't worry about it," she said. "I just had a small accident this morning."

"Are you sure? It could get infected, do you want me to check it?" I asked tilted my head to get a better look at it, as she slid her hand down. She shook her head, "Really, its fine Yui-senpai." She gave me a toothy grin, which had me instantly shutting up. Sometimes I feel like only she smiles at me like that. Feeling a sudden urge to hug her, I leaned foward, my arms wrapping around her fragile frame, earning a small 'nya'. As soon as I wrapped my arms around her I felt a warm and fuzzy feeling circulate through my body. "Yui-senpai?" She asked as I felt her tense up slightly, before relaxing. After a few seconds though, I could feel her struggle. "Senpai," she breathed into my ear. Which caused a shiver to run down my back. "L-let go please." Drawing my arms back, I felt my face turn red. "Azu-nyan." I blurted out.

"Huh?"

"Your nickname." I responded bluntly. "Ritsu is Ricchan, and Tsumugi is Mugi-chan. So now, your Azu-nyan." I said rather happily, as I watched her face turn from confusion to embarrasement in a matter of seconds. "E-eh?"

"Azu-nyan!" I glomped her again. Nuzzling my face against hers. As expected, she started struggling again. "Geez, Yui-senpai." She muttered as her cheeks tinged a light shade of pink once again.

"Hey lovebirds." I heard Ritsu call. "Bell's gonna ring soon." I heard her chuckle.

'Lovebirds?!' "Ehhh! Ricchan? Your so mean!" I whined, getting up. "C'mon Azu-nyan!" I opened the door, gesturing for her to leave. "Thank you, senpai." I watched as she walked out. My eyes drifted to her neck again, my eyes filled with worry. Shaking my head I followed her after keeping the door open for my other bandmembers.

"We'll see you after school Azusa-chan" I heard Mugi say as we walked into homeroom. I shot her one last glance and I saw her waving as she walked down the hall.

"Already so close to Nakano, huh Yui?" I turned my head to look at Ricchan, and smiled sheepishly, my hand rubbing the back of my neck.

"Alright everyone, take your seats please." Sawa-chan called out. Holding a clipboard to take attendance. I watched as my friends took their seats, and walked over to my own. Taking a seat next to the window.

"Fuwa fuwa time."

"Fuwa fuwa time."

"Fuwa fuwa time!"

I ended the song with one last strum of Gitah. Panting slightly I looked up at Azusa. She smiled at me, her eyes glinting with amusement. She tilted her head to look at the rest of the band. "That was really good. But how could you benifit anything from adding me to the band?" She asked us.

"Well, we could play a larger variety of songs with a rhythm guitarist."I heard Ricchan say. "But, we should probably decide between the two of you, who's the lead and who's the rhythm."

Tearing my eyes away from my kohai, I turned to stare a Ritsu. "Me! I'll be the-" I was cut off by Tsumugi.

"Perhaps we should perform a test?" She started, glancing at me apologetically. "To find out who's the better guitarist!" She finished.

I turned to Mio. She nodded, "Makes sense." I gaped at them. "Traitors!" I yelled dramatically." Falling to the floor, Gitah resting on top of me.

"Yui get up, we're gonna watch Azusa play now." Ritsu said, her eyebrows raised as she stared down at me. Right away I was sitting on the long chair, my eyes watching Azusa as she plugged her guitar into an amp and began to strum her guitar.

Wide-eyed my mouth fell open as I listened to her practiced strumming. I watched as her fingers flew across the fretboard, creating sounds that I could never dream of doing. Occasionally muting the strings as she changed pitch, her strumming hand picking out the appropriate strings. She strummed for a while longer until her solo ended. Glancing up, she stared at us. "How was that?" She panted. We were silent, still trying to comprehend what had just happened. Me, being the first to recover opened my mouth to say something, but was halted as the door flew open. Jolting everyone else out of their shock.

"Azusa-chan!" Sawa-chan yelled, loudly, holding what seemed to be a pair of nekomimi ears. "Put these on!"

Azusa, who was clearly shocked, just stood there. I watched in fascination as Azusa turned into a blur, suddenly reappearing on the other side of the room, as if she ran ten times faster than the normal human. I clearly wasn't the only one who was shocked at her sudden speed.

"Wha?" I overheard Ricchan say intelligently. "How'd you get...?" Shaking my head furiously, I grabbed the cat ears from Sawa-chan. Hiding them in my bag, I called to Azusa. "It's alright Azu-nyan!" Looking at her, I gave her a reassuring smile. I saw her glare at me. "I'm not afraid of Nekomimi ears senpai." She hissed rather irritably. "I was just surprised is all."

"Oh," I started grinning. "Then you won't mind if I do this!" Jumping up, I took long strides as I reached the other side of the room, gently placing the cat ears on her head.

"Nya!" She said. I felt her grip my wrists, tightly. Way tighter than a normal human should, but not enough to actually stop the blood flow. Her grip loosened as I watch her place her hands in her head. Sighing irritably once again. She crossed her arms, giving me an annoyed look. "Seriously?"

I nodded, a smile graced my lips as I looked at her adorable figure. "Now you're really are an Azu-nyan!"

Shaking her head, Azusa sighed, but she still kept the ears on. Walking over to her Mustang, she picked it up. I heard her muttering faintly about changing her strings. Jumping at the chance, I walked over to her. "Can you teach me how to change my strings?" I paused. "I always go to the music shop at the mall to fix Gitah."

She looked at me incrediously. "You've had your guitar for a year... But you don't know how to change your strings?" I nodded sheepishly. I watched her stare at me for a while before she nodded. She pulled out a tuner from her bag. Setting it down beside her. I got up to unzip Gitah from my bag, and as I walked over to the wall, I saw Mio thumping her fist on Ritsu's head again, while blushing furiously. 'Ricchan probably made a sexual joke again'. I thought amused. I knew I was right when I glanced to Mugi, who was trying to contain her nosebleed. Grabbing Gitah, I walked over to Azusa and sat down. "What now Azu-nyan senpai?" I said teasingly. She looked at me before muttering, "loosen the strings first."

I nodded, loosening the strings. "Then you cut the strings off with these." She handed me a pair of wire cutters, and gestured how to use them. Doing as she says, I cut all of my strings, and looked back up at her. "Why do I loosen the strings before I cut them?" She opened her mouth to reply, "Because if you didn't, the strings would snap up and hit your face." Shuddering at the image I nodded. Pulling out the strings from the tuning pegs, I turned to look at her again. "Now what?" I asked handing her back the wire cutters.

"Do you have strings?"

"Yeah." I nodded, pulling out a set of strings, that was halted as I heard a yell behind me.

"Baka!" I jumped as I turned to look behind me. I watched as Mio stomped out of the room, tea covered her skirt as a sorry looking Ritsu followed. I turned back to look at Azusa, who gave me a confused look. Shaking her head, she began to explain again.

"Okay, so now slide them in where you just took them out." She pointed to the bridge of my guitar. Doing as she says, I gently slid in the first few strings starting with the thickest After the fourth string however, I accidently slipped and cut my index finger. "Oww!" I moaned. I was about to slip my finger into my mouth before I heard Azusa murmur, "Here, let me see." She grabbed my wrist, her eyes glinting with some unknown emotion. My eyes widened considerably as she stuck my finger into her mouth. I watched her eyes close, as I felt her tounge swirl around my finger, sucking as if trying to suck more blood out. While moaning softly that caused my face to flare up bright red.

"A-azusa..." I gasped out.

As if coming to her senses, her eyes widened, immediately letting go of my finger, as she backed away slightly. "S-sorry!" She muttered, blushing furiously.

I nodded, too shocked to actually think properly. The only thing that ran through my head was how cute she looked.

I was unaware of Mugi watching her every move.

Wheew second chapter done! I tried to match the characters more like in the anime in this chapter. Though I think I made Azusa's mood change too quickly... Anyway, I introduced Azusa's nickname, cuz I thought this wouldn't be complete without it. :D thanks for reading, constructive criticism is welcome :)
