I know its been a while, but neither I nor any one I talk to owns any part of Man except for some merchandise. I'm still Leo and this has been slightly more delayed then I expected it to be. I accept full responsibility for that, but at least it's here now.
Allen looked back down at the little piece of paper in his hand again. Please don't let that be the place. Allen was looking at a huge forty story building. It was only a little ways out of town, but the location seemed fairly secluded and it seemed like the middle of nowhere next to a cliff that looked over the ocean. It would have been picturesque, if not for the pitch black sky scraper.
Allen had to take a few steps back to look at the sign on the front of the building. "Welcome to the West Coast International S.R.D.C. ... What the hell dose S.R.D.C stand for?"
Crosses directions might have seemed vague originally, but he couldn't say that they didn't make sense now. Go past the school, go to a cliff, look for a big black building, go in tell them Cross sent you. Bring back a Yeager. Big black building might not have been wrong, but it was defiantly an understatement, and vague enough that Allen was hopping he was at the wrong place right now. Of corse the only way to figure that out would be to ask someone.
And talk about timeing, someone with dark pulled back hair was storming towards the door now.
Allen didn't seem to notes the angry expression that the pulled back hair exposed, or the thing around said persons waist, because he ran toward the door any way and almost had his head cut off.
"Who the hell are you?!" A very angry human was pointing a very real blade at Allen's neck. He sounded vaguely Japanese, but mostly just super pissed off. Allen suddenly wanted very badly for this be the wrong place, but not so wrong that he ended up dead because of it.
"I-I'm Allen Walker. Cross Marian sent me here, there was a letter that supposedly explained everything." Allen said what he been told to, but the pressure from the blade on his neck did not let up.
"I heard nothing some moyashi showing up on our door step." The blade was definitely a lot closer to breaking skin now if it hadn't all ready.
"That is not my fault," Allen put his gloved hand to the tip of the blade in an attempt to push it away, or at least keep it at bay, "maybe it was going to be a surprise, or they forgot. Is it possible that you where gone the day of the news? Or perhaps they where going to tell you today but I arrived earlier then expected."
"Or you are here to spy on us!"
Allen couldn't believe his ears! For a moment the idea of this all having just been a dream crossed his mind. It had been a long day, and it wouldn't be the first time someone had fallen asleep in a taxi, but the sudden sharp pain on his neck effectively eliminated that idea.
"Stop, please, I'm not a spy! I'm still in high school for crying out loud!"
"That is exactly what a spy would say when they where caught! How could I possibly know if what you are saying is the truth or not?"
Allen pus his other hand up against the blade as well. This was getting ridiculous. Even if this the right place, he could get treatment some where else. With in the same city even. And if not he'd made it this long on his own, with the proper self management plan, Allen could do it on his own, and still keep his head attached to his body. Talking to this guy much longer might not actually achieve any of those goals.
"Okay, so you don't know that I'm telling the truth. I am! But you don't know that, so because like my head where it is, and I can't prove anything to right now, I am just going leave, okay?" Allen slowly pulled his hands away from the blade and carefully leaned back.
Much to Allen's relief the sword was slowly removed from his neck as well "Don't you ever fucking come back."
"You know what? I can live with that," and Allen quickly back pedals until he is far enough away to feel safe turning around and jogging back in to town. I wasn't planning on going back to that crazy place any way.
AN: Okay so it's only been like 3 years since I worked on this. That's okay. It probably wont be as long to the next chapter. I have some kind of dedication. Note: It did not take me three years to actually right this chapter it just took me that log to publish it. Hope you like it. Comment if you do. Comment if you don't, just keep it civil.
