[Explosion Emperor] Bakugo Katsuki. [All Might] Yagi Toshinori. [Tsu] Asui Tsuyu. [Dankk] Denki Kaminari… And [Shoto] well, Shoto. They never did learn his last name.

They looked so much like their avatars it was uncanny, and their central plaza was nothing short of magnificent, even by M&M standards. The absolute liberty to make anything you wanted also meant, you were at liberty to royally screw up. Because the game at no point held your hand, quite a few ambitious bases were just horrible to look at. But luckily enough U.A had been blessed with quite a few talented builders, [Momo] truly was a genius…

Not much of a social miracle outside of the game, but the same could be said for him and frankly, quite a few other guild mates. Even though U.A had a policy, that required their members to remain active members of society. To get to this level, they all had to make sacrifices.

But Momo had remained a lone wolf long after joining U.A, all the way up until the midgame. It was only after Izuku had gone out of his way to involve her, that she'd opened up to them.

She had on her own insistence been positioned at their desert city, Taqen in the province of Fendor, all by herself. Unlike their other bases, Taqen was too far away to reasonably visit. So, while she wasn't the only one that was positioned at a base all by herself. She was the only one that was truly cut off from everyone, and she remained that way for quite some time. Until, Izuku on his endless quest of friendship, had decided to make her his next target.

U.A's most powerful governing organ was their senate, a small group of its original founders and most powerful players and Izuku was on it. Using his privileges as senate member, he placed Momo into one of their raid groups near his own domain. No one questioned that, and no one objected.

He arranged to meet with her near Kaymen, positioned in the middle of a huge snowy mountain range, it was where they kept their most powerful items. They would equip her there alongside some newly summoned soldiers.

She came in flying on a sand elemental Chinese style dragon, not an unusual choice for Fendor but one at a huge disadvantage here. Seeing his Izuku sighed out in relief, Momo was more than capable of fending for herself. But within U.A she was indisputably one of the weaker players, rival guilds might target her just to get to U.A. he would have liked to escort her, but he couldn't very well do that without laying bare his plans.

She was dressed… wildly inappropriate. Both in terms of combat and social norms. She was dressed like every female in an rpg, essentially only wearing armor over her breasts and showing way too much skin. Were those stockings? This looks more like lingerie. He decided not to make any too obvious remarks about it, but subtly fish for info.

Momo was only at level 98 and Izuku was level 124, which was a huge gap in ability. Not only that, but Izuku was one the founders, overseer of their biggest base and had the most troops listed under him. A veteran even among top players, so, Momo was nervous about talking to him. And that showed, the insecurity practically dripped off her.

"It's an honor finally meeting you sir." She said in all seriousness.

"Sir? You take role playing that serious? I'm just Izuku. He replied, laughing.

"But you're Green Gust, Province Champion, slayer of Quendor dominator of the Aether and one of the original 8."

"That's just in this game, and just for the record, I never came up with those titles. In real life I'm just your average broke college student, so please stop with the sir stuff."

"All right… Midoriya."

"Sigh very well then, let's go."

They were both quiet for a good few minutes, but then Izuku noticed she was quivering a bit, and decided to ask her.

"Uh, Momo? You sure that armor is well suited for this terrain?"

"Well, one of our guild members guaranteed me this was one of the finest sets of armors in the game."

"Aha, just out of curiosity. Who exactly was this guild member?"

[ I swear to god, if it was…]

"Sir Mineta I believe."

[Ok that does it]

"Why? Is something wrong with it?"

"No, that's not it. It might just not be well suited outside of desert terrain is all, might be best to replace it. I happen to have a spare set on me."

[ Best not to tell her what was actually going on.]

"Can't you just give me an amulet? Back in Taqen there were many people that cooled themselves with ice amulets."

"Ah yes, that's the thing. Those don't exist for other elements like fire."

[they totally do]

"by the way, if you're not going to be using that. I could have it send by Nhoden to make some improvements, so could you give it to me please?"

"Oh yeah, sure."

And so they exchanged sets, Izuku gave her back a full plate armor, with powerful enchantments. And quickly appraised her old set.

[ Just as I thought, even in Fendor this set of armor is completely useless. More suited for a level 20, at best. No point in sending this to Nhoden.]

Yes she sure was a bit weird, but after introducing her into his party she had become one of his closest friends. Together they had designed many strongholds, including the rock of eternity.

Those were the glory days, back when his party was still together. back when he and Ochako saw each other nearly every day and he was still in contact with Shoto.

That was over 4 years ago, who knew where they were now. He just hoped they were doing well, even though they'd ended things on bad terms they were still dear to him.

Maybe they would even return to the game now that it's back online, even if just for a bit, god he hoped so.

Preferably someone like Toshi, although that was unlikely, seeing as he's in American time zone.
