EDIT - I JUST REALIZED THE CHAP 2 OF MY OTHER STORY GOT POSTED AS THE CHAP 2 OF THIS STORY SOMEHOW IDEK AND I AM SO SORRY TO THOSE OF YOU WHO WERE CONFUSED OR INCONVENIENCED I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW OR WHEN THAT HAPPENED.
Hey hey, chapter 2, re-vamped coming at you…now! Oh, and this story is still going to have the whole gang eventually, and there is still a Vongola band, I'm just actually writing a story this time:P
Change
You walked in to the room
I just had to laugh
the face you wore was cool
you were a photograph
when it's all too late
It's all too late
I did not have the time
I did not have the nerve
to ask you how you feel
is this what you deserve
WHAM!
Tsuna's head shot up when a book was very rudely slammed on his desk next to his previously resting head.
"This is just hypothetically speaking, but let's just say there's a sole student that scores in the 20 point range and painfully lowers the class average…"
Tsuna glared silently down at his desk while Mr. Nezu, his jerk of a science teacher, let out a long sigh.
"According to me (enter obnoxious glasses adjustment here) who's come through an elite course, that kind of person is just baggage on the education-conscious society. Is there really a reason for that kind of trash to live?"
Tsuna scoffed internally, harsh bastard, he thought while the class burst into laughter as Mr. Nezu flashed his test to the whole class, exposing his 24.
"He really is nogoodtsuna!"
"Hah! Dame-Tsuna!"
Tsuna went back to resting his head on his desk and staring out the window. He'd learned to block out his classmates taunts and insults a looong time ago. What were a few "dame Tsuna's" when his dad gave him reasons for why his very existence was a sin and mistake every day?
"Sawada! Pay attention when I'm talking!"
Uuuuugh.
Glancing up Tsuna was almost tempted to put his head back down when he saw the boy at the front of the classroom. Glaring knives at everyone in the room was a tall and what some of the girls were calling, bad boy. The boy had silver hair that shadowed his eyes at the moment. He looked faintly Italian, and had completely disregarded the dress code in favor of ripped skinny jeans and like 5 belts.
Yep, someone Tsuna decided he should definitely try to stay far, far away from.
"Class, this is Gokudera Ha-"
Mr. Nezu was abruptly cut off with a sharp glance from the boy.
"It's just Gokudera."
Tsuna could've sworn several girls swooned at the boy's voice.
"Uhum, right. Class, please take care of our new transfer student, Gokudera."
The brunette thought it was mildly hilarious how Gokudera obviously made Nezu uncomfortable.
"Gokudera, you can take your seat behind, uh, Sawada, right there."
Nezu said pointing at Tsuna. Wait, what. Tsuna's eyes widened as the transfer student made his way towards him, giving off a "touch me and die" vibe the whole time.
Should he say something? Oh great idea Tsuna, "Hello Mr. grumpy Italian, I don't know what crawled up your butt and died, but let's have as little communication and interaction as possible to decrease the odds of you murdering me."
Yeah he'll just stick to staying quiet…
BAM!
"Ow!"
Tsuna let out a yelp when Gokudera almost knocked him out of his chair with a well-placed kick.
What the hell was that for?! Tsuna thought angrily.
"Do you know him Sawada?"
His desk neighbor Hana asked him.
"No."
He replied rubbing his sore shin.
"Geez, he acts like some sort of gangster."
Tsuna agreed with the level headed girl. Hm, maybe not all girls fall for the bad boy type after all...
"Ah, I love his type!"
"It's numbing, not scary."
"We're officially starting a club."
Tsuna felt his faith in humanity slipping away. The rest of class passed with girls whispering back and forth to each other about how cool and hot "Gokudera-kun," was. Tsuna on the other hand had kept his head faced forward the whole period, which was very unusual for him. But with Gokudera staring daggers into the back of his head it was a little hard for him to look anywhere else in the classroom.
"Alright, before you go, make sure to grab this worksheet. Class dismissed."
Tsuna gave a sigh of relief as the bell rang and he was allowed to finally, finally leave this horrid class. Nezu had berated him three more times and Gokudera was seriously stressing him out with all his death glares and evil auras.
Tsuna's next class was with Ms. Nekota, the sweet drama teacher. Drama was his last class of the day this year, a lucky draw. Ending with gym last year had sucked. Tsuna didn't love acting, but he did actually enjoy singing. He hadn't thought drama would have any singing but Ms. Nekota had revealed to her class on the first day that there were three types of drama. Straight for regular old acting. Stage-craft for all those handy men and stage shy students. And Musical.
Tsuna wasn't big on performing in front of people, but he'd decided that if he was going to have to get up on stage anyways he might as well do musical so he could sing. His first few days had been kind of frightening but after a little bit of practice it was actually fun for him to get up on stage and sing.
After years of singing in private Tsuna didn't really have any idea of how good he was, but he had awed everyone with his abilities from his first song. It was the one class where he wasn't made fun of. Ms. Nekota was a sweet teacher but she made sure everyone respected each other and treated each other like family.
It was nice. It was his own haven. It was peaceful. Why is Gokudera following him into the drama room? Why is the mean Italian gangster hoodlum boy following him into Ms. Nekota's sweet drama room?
"Ah class! It looks like we have a new addition to our family!"
Tsuna was shaken out of his confusion by Ms. Nekota's kind voice.
"Hm, this is perfect actually, Suzume-chan is out today, so Gokudera-kun here can take her place until he's decided where he wants to be."
Suzume-chan? Wasn't she in Musical? Tsuna felt an ominous sense of dread creep up his spine.
"Oh, Tsuna-kun, since we're doing group projects today, would you work with Gokudera-kun please?"
Looking into Ms. Nekota's kind eyes Tsuna couldn't bring himself to turn her down, so with a weary sigh he gave a nod of consent.
"Great! Alright class, please split into your proper groups. Musical, today our theme is "friendship." We're going to be doing some pop tunes today, so please look at these lists and choose your song. I want a compressed version, and remember our goal is to communicate with the audience what the song means through your voices, body language, and facial expressions!"
Ms. Nekota gave Tsuna and his new partner a smile before scampering off to give the other groups their instructions.
Tsuna retrieved two of the lists and retreated back to Gokudera. He hesitantly held out one of the lists which Gokudera snatched from him without looking up. Well, Tsuna resisted the urge to comment on the angry Italian's unnecessary sass.
"Um, is there any particular song you want to do?"
Tsuna hesitantly asked from his new seat on the ground.
"Tch."
Was all he got in reply.
"Um. How about I'll be? That's kind of a classic."
He tried again, his frustration with the whitette growing.
"Tch."
Okay, that was a little more venomous so I guess that one's out… Tsuna glanced through the list again before another song caught his eye.
"Oh, what about My Same? That's a good one."
Tsuna's voice betrayed his optimism.
"Tch."
Wow, okay that one really lacked killer intent, guess we're doing My Same. Tsuna didn't know if it was a good thing that he would probably be fluent in the language of "tch" before the day was over.
And that's all for that! Until next time, and I swear there actually will be a next time this time. I would try and update again tonight but its 3AM and I'm exhausted sorry. But hey, Gokudera's here!
