I don't own jack shit except maybe one or two builds. If I owned anything Jaune would be carrying be carrying a proper LHGS. Instead that halfassed piece of crap he uses

In the following days to Jaune's first victory in the arena, the young blonde had been rather scarce around the campus of beacon. Not even Ozpin could find him on the cameras that he had around campus, not that he tried.

Following Jaune's disappearence came the notes. The would glow an etheral orange and hover just about the ground or they'd be colored blue and tiny little deformed white imps would hold up the message as people walked close to them.

These little notes were a bit odd to be around at first but eventually they had become something rather normal to read on the way to class. Speaking of classes, Combat class has had everyone on edge for Jaune's appearence as Russel had told everyone how strange it was to fight Jaune.

While many were perturbed by Jaune's bizzare new semblance they had found themselves wanting a little more than what they had seen.

Blake is a curiously made character, one moment she had a surprising amount of depth that made you wonder why she didn't wander off on her own to be her own series protagonist. Then you see in that same seen that she is about as smart as a domestic cat going out into the wild: too dumb to realize what she thinks matters doesn't matter and does matter isn't even crossing her mind. Now that isn't to say Blake is useless, she is after all not named after a tree blossom.

Blake just wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. No, no she was just a quiet pervy teen that liked books. So with that in mind it should come to no real surprise that Blake didn't realize that she had been called down into the arena until Yang had given her a sharp prod to the ribs and took said book. Blake figured that she had wasted enough time just sitting around and decided it was best to get a move on, though not without sending a quick glare at Yang, who just grinned in return.

Upon arriving to the arena Blake had taken a wary glance around the arena to get an idea of what her opponent would have in store for her. Once, twice, and three times.

Unless her opponent had passive or active camoflauge like a certain one dimesional ex-ally of hers had, then no one was here, save for Ms. Goodwitch who had an expectant look on her face.

"Mr. Arc I know you may be feeling a little bit skittish about the consequences of you last engagement but if you do not appear-" Ms. Goodwitch started but was cut off by this bizzare text appearing at the bottom of everyone line of sight.

Dark spirit BackstabbingArc has invaded

This had made the stale air of the stadium light up with confusion and excitement from one outlier.

The resident Valkiery was of course was the only one who knew what this mysterious invader was doing here. Though how she knew this no one could really guess. "That's because it's simple Mr. Author!", Nora stated. After a moment of looking around the room to see if Nora was talking to anyone Pyrrha looked over at Ren to ask, "Ren who is Nora talking to?", his response was so profound and deep yet totally in character for Ren, "I don't know.", trully a man of few words.

Team Rwby who decided to sit next to their sister team had been understandbly confused when that bizzare text had appeared. Ruby had been trying to put her hand through the text box to see if it were actually there in front of them, but had nearly smacked herself in the face. Weiss had been leering at the name of the supposed invader since she had doubts that the invader would be able get past all students in beacon; let alone their goal. As for Yang well she was rewatching the fight with the nevermore on her phone not really paying too much attention to class for even the text on her phone thinking it was just a pop-up.

Then the sound of shrieking metal echoed into the room. The shriek was a terrible grating noise that caused Blake to wince in pain as she was prepared for the sudden noise.

The shrieking noise was accompanied with people yelling and shouting and bullets and weapons shredding the air. Then the sound tappered away but was followed up with the sound rustling metal and the sound of heavy boots hitting the ground. As students looked over they could see red a glowing head figure finishing his frantic rolls, fishing his hand behind his back then pulling out golden glowing vial chugging it down while walking over to about six steps from guard rails.

As he turned back around to seem to run up the stairs the students could see that the glowing red figure was wearing a worn out cloak over some beaten up knight armor on his torso. A dark hood that and mask that hid the majority of face from view.

Along his arms the red man sized sprite was wearing matching gauntlets that were wrapped up in worn out strips of cloth. The very same aesthetic same present on the knight's leggings. Then the largest thing that stood out on the knight's figure was the giant sword that was even bigger than he was though the blade was rather slim meaning a fair amount of coordination would be needed to use it effectively.

As this observation of man's attire was made a voice could be heard from the hallways though faint as only the Faunus students could hear. "I can't believe dodged and parried all 100 of us.", a female's voice stated in disbelief. In equally shocked voice another stated, "I can't believe he rolled through Neggeerra's railgun fired without becoming a pancake..."

The faunus students then looked at the door way that was once a pull door and saw that in place of the hallway was a solid fog wall. Eyes alight with confusion they looked back at the glowing man who was in the middle of a jump over the rail.

Jumping over objects had been something that taken Jaune a long time to learn proper timing for but, after learning how to do it once he had gotten rather good at calculating the distance for the jump.

Now Jaune was expecting the host of embers to be Blake but hey Jaune needed the souls so could finish up the Deacons. As Jaune came up from a roll onto the gun metal floor, he took a relaxed stance with the right foot forward and rolled his shoulders. Suddenly the Theif mask was gone, Jaune could feel that everyone locked onto him, sans Yang who was still on her scroll.

"HI FEARLESS LEADER!!" Came Nora's response to seeing her leader in front of her for the first time in days, jumping for joy. Ren waved silently, while Pyrrha gave Jaune a relieved look while giving a double handed wave; not quite sure what to say.

"HEY!!", Jaune bellowed out cupping his right hand over by his face and lunging forward with his torso and right leg. "Hi guys", he said now walking forward with a wave.

As Jaune was getting ready to say more he could feel a menancing intent standing behind him. Pivoting his head to see what it was he could see the Witch behind him with glowing red eyes.

Pushing off the feeling to flinch from the intensity Jaune pulled the slim greatsword from his back held it in right hand and let it rest against his shoulder. In his left hand was a wicked sharp curved dagger.

"Now then... Begin" Instead chastising him Ms. Goodwitch had just let the bout begin. Regarding him with a critical glance and meeting it head on Jaune had almost missed how his opponent was on the move.

Blake had almost no time to react when the match started. However seeing that Jaune was still meeting Ms. Goodwitch's gaze she decided that she would finish this up before the two minute mark came.

Jaune quickly locked onto Blake and without ceremony he was two handing his dagger and the greatsword he was weilding moment ago was holstered on his back.

Jaune quickly quickstepped toward Blake. Unlike the time when he was fighting Russel he had gone diagonal to her. The distance to the quickstep was about double what the roll had been as well. Blake hadn't been stationary through out this deploying Gambol Shroud in into the katana and cleaver variant. Using a clone reverse her momentum to glide at Jaune.

Who had this point swaped back the Astora Greatsword. He was held the weapon at the side as Blake charged in ready to launch a flurry of attacks.

CLANG

Blake had been tossed to the side and only her highly trained reflexes had allowed her to place the cleaver of Gambol Shroud to her side to absorb some the shock.

Watching Blake land on her feet that she did in a back flip to catch her bearings. Jaune noticed she was about six feet away from him at about a 25 degrees to the right. Just about perfect distance for his next move.

Blake quickly realized that while Jaune may be holding that sword incorrectly he actually could use it with a fair amount of grace.

Though she wouldn't let him use that grace. Running back towards him she swaps Gambol shroud into it's pistol form. Then right as she approached him she made two clones run along side her and turn their fire at Jaune, as she chose fling herself about 4 times standing height into the air to lay surpressive fire.

Jaune didn't know those clones were duds so having rolled backwards toward the third Blake he had unknowingly rolled right towards where Blake wanted him so she could lay her surpressive fire.

Jaune kept rolling as he heard the bullets slam into the floor where he was actually position his invisbility frames keeping safe.

Then everything appeared to stop. After Jaune stopped rolling he could see that Blake had just appeared to be hovering just about to land. Her Amber eyes looking at where he was standing with intense concentration.

Blake was about nine paces away from where he was standing unmoving. Well Jaune would have to take advantage of this time. This was the power of lag.

As if a switch had been flipped in his head Jaune had rush at Blake. Engaging with a rolling attack from his Astora Greatsword, it had slammed right into Blake's left shoulder.

Seeing that she still hadn't even flinched from the attack that he figured he should follow up with the false combo. Jaune stood in front of Blake then, placed both of his hands on the handle and charged blade first at Blake.

Time had resumed, in this moment. Blake's eyes had widened dramatically as Jaune's blade had almost been thrust into her stomach. Blake had also been alerted to a hot pain in her left shoulder as though it had been amputated and was had salt poured into it.

Though their was no time to focus on that as Jaune's blade had still been coming ever closer to her mid-section. Making a clone to quickly take her place Blake had only half a second to start firing upon the aggressive Arc.

The blonde was evidently having none of that as with in an instant he had his dagger in hand and with a quick flash of his hand over the blade it was coated in lightning.

Blake had been back peddeling at max speed to avoid the blade. At about eleven paces away. With giant blade on Jaune's back again, the young girl had figured it was time to go one the offensive once more.

Using four clones to launch herself at Jaune, Blake had once again changed Gambol Shroud back into the flegdling knight.

The cat faunus' attacks first raked Jaune across the shoulders. Using another clone to springboard herself back at her opponent who hadn't looked back at her she aimed her next attack at his right shoulder to cut along the part of the that connects the bicepts and tricepts.

This time as she flew past the Arc, she stabbed her blade into the floor about 3 paces away and used the ribbon around arm to swing around the cloaked knight to launch a devestating kick into her back.

Atleast she would've if not for the fact that one she suddenly found herself standing still. And two found a dagger crackling with lightning in her lower back. As one could guess, Jaune was no longer standing in front of her.

Aggresively kicking off the dagger Jaune had quickly taken note that there wasn't really a stab wound in her back as she tumbled forward into a somersault landing face up.

Blake had found herself staring up at the ceiling completely and utterly exhausted. Blake wasn't sure what it was that trully did her in. She was sure that she was only getting started in that fight. Yet Jaune had seemed untouched by all of her attacks.

Was Jaune somehow faster than her? Could that type of speed really be learned in six days? Or had Jaune been holding back in his last fight? Was this some sort of aura manipulation technique? Could super speed be his semblance as well? 'It might explain why he had been able to switch between weapons so quickly...' Blake thought as she laid on the floor staring up at the dull blue over head light.

Jaune had walked toward Blake weapons still in hand. Trotting forward as though he was a hungry predator Jaune came to an abrupt halt.

Jaune's body had been eveloped in a purple outline though to his credit Jaune just put his arms out to the side. It seemed that Ms. Goodwitch had something to say. "Mr. Arc that is enough. The battle is won."

For a moment it seemed that Jaune was nodding in agreement. Then as Glynda let him down he began falling horizantally. Not too unlike a man who had been kicked off a cliff.

Then Jaune hit the ground. He struggled to stand up for a moment before failing with a pathetic twitch. "Damnit, I was just one more match away fr-" With that Jaune disintegrated into red particals of light.

Then everyone felt a small rush of energy enter thier body.

Beacon's arena- Only those with trully great power and experience can create a space that make people want to run away, or in the right circumstances keep others out. Why would anyone go near such a presence can trully baffle the mind.

Wielder's intent- People of dust had always wondered if a blade is as sharp what their wielder's desired to use the blade for. This has sparked debate for millenia.
