*Clint and Natasha's apartment*
Natasha woke up with a face full of slobber from Lexi. The six month old puppy was barking happily at her owner while Clint rolled over and told Lexi not to lick his face. Natasha smiled and quietly got up knowing her fiancé hadn't got much sleep the previous night. Natasha ushered Lexi out of the room and slowly shut the door behind her. As she walked over to the kitchen to make breakfast, Natasha heard the elevator to her apartment open. It was Pepper and Darcy.
"Morning girls, how are you both this morning?" Pepper nodded and Darcy looked exhausted, obviously not getting much sleep from organising her wedding.
"Do you have any coffee? If not then do you have a spare bed?" Natasha and Pepper laughed as Darcy dozed off on the kitchen table.
"I think someone had a big night last night." Darcy mumbled in agreement and finally fell asleep. The girls looked at each other and started to laugh.
Eventually, Clint woke up and heard a lot of female voices in the lounge room. Natasha walked into the bedroom and saw Clint come out of the bathroom with a towel around him. Natasha gawked at her fiancé. Clint smiled and walked over to her. He kissed her passionately and Natasha wrapped her hands around his neck. Completely forgetting that Pepper and Darcy were in the other room, Clint picked Natasha up and walked back into the bathroom.
"Clint, we can't." Clint gave Natasha a disappointed look and sadly he knew she was right.
Natasha fixed her hair and ran back out into the lounge. Pepper was watching TV and Darcy was on the armchair reading a magazine. Clint walked out in a pair of jeans and both girls stared at him.
"See something you like girls?" Clint winked at Pepper and Darcy. Natasha smiled and turned around as she heard the elevator open. Tony and Bruce walked into the apartment. Natasha rolled her eyes; all she wanted to do was have a peaceful Saturday morning with Clint.
"What do you want now!?" Natasha snapped at Tony as he walked towards her.
"I just wanted my fiancé back! I'm sorry." Pepper gave Natasha a concerned look. Bruce grabbed Darcy and quickly left.
Clint walked over to Natasha and hugged her. The more Natasha tried to push him away the more Clint squeezed. Lexi came running out barking and playfully jumping on Clint's legs.
Clint eventually let go and Natasha fell to the floor laughing from Lexi licking her face and legs.
Clint paced around the apartment waiting for his love to finally finish getting ready for their night out. Lexi sat on the couch and watched her owner talk to himself.
"Nat, you nearly ready?" Clint stood still, waiting for an answer.
"One second!" Natasha slowly walked out of the bedroom, wearing a long red gown with black high heels. Her hair was pinned back in a messy bun with a thousand bobby pins and her make-up was dark but beautiful. Clint couldn't keep his eyes off his beautiful fiancé.
"What do you think?" Natasha smiled at him. Clint couldn't speak; he'd never seen Natasha in such a beautiful gown and with make-up on. Clint walked up to her slowly and wrapped his hands around her waist.
"You're beautiful." Clint kissed her forehead and Nat smiled lovingly. The couple finally left their apartment and set off to the lobby for another one of Tony's massive formal parties.
The elevator stopped twice to pick up Steve, Darcy and Bruce and Betty. The girls all looked amazing. Everyone complimented each other on their outfits and then the elevator finally stopped at the lobby.
Once the elevator doors opened, Natasha hung onto Clint's arm for dear life. The lobby was full of people. Young and old and some 16 year olds hung at the bar drinking with friends, Tony and Pepper were talking to Happy and Rhodes. Thor and Steve were trying to get a hold of Jane and Darcy, Betty and Bruce were dancing happily on the dance floor. Natasha and Clint looked at each other and slowly made their way through the crowd to the bar.
Natasha sat at the bar while Clint was talking to Phil and Nick. They laughed and joked about The Councillors. Watching her fiancé made her happy, every now and again Clint would look at her and smile. She kept feeling that he would make a wonderful husband and one day a fantastic father. The more she watched him the more she fell in love with him. She loved every single second she was with him and on the nights he is on a mission, she felt lonely in her bed. As if everything had gone for a week. She knew he hated it too, being on missions without her. It was very rare for them to be separated on a mission.
Slowly the rest of the gals made their way up to the bar. Clint looked up to smile at her, not realising she was surrounded by the girls. He focused back onto Nick who was being called by Maria.
"Clint, you seem very relaxed now-a-days. What's going on?" Clint smiled happily.
"Nothing sir, I'm just happy I have Nat in my life." Nick patted him on the back and walked over to Maria. Thor, Tony, Steve and Bruce all ran up to Clint like school boys seeing their long lost mate after years.
"What's got you so excited?" The boys stared at each other and grinned. Clint started to worry. Whenever the boys planned something there was always a catch.
"We are passing on a message." Clint gave them a concerned look.
"Someone wants to meet you up in your room in 5 minutes." Tony winked at Clint as he left for the elevator. He knew exactly who he was meeting.
