Author's note: Actually this isn't my original second chapter, I had written another second chapter ages ago but I was to dumb to attach it with my first chapter so I just wrote it separately. I'm VERY sorry for the delay!
CHAPTER 2
Cady couldn't get over Regina's abrupt move. How dare she slap me, that fugly slut. thought Cady angrily. She had thought everything between them had cleared up. Regina had seemed so happy with what she was doing now, even without her clique. I guess I underestimated her, after all she was the queen bee of the plastics wasn't she? Cady thought, just as her math-sub came in.
Although Cady was naturally deeply drawn to math, she just couldn't focus today, she kept thinking about the slap and her anger continued to boil inside of her. She was oblivious of her calling out to her, but luckily she was saved by the bell.
"Cady can you stay behind? I need to talk with you." requested her math-sub. Oh great, now what'd I do? She thought as she grumpily made her way to his desk. When she did eventually reach his desk she just stood there and stared at her teacher.
"You seemed zoomed out today, are you OK?" he asked with concern for her.
"Yeah, I am, now if you don't mind I have to go to my next class before I'm late. I don't want people to...think up weird things." Cady said as she eyed her teacher, he was just slightly older than her. A young man of 21 years of age, clean shaven and neatly dressed in a suit. "Also you can ease down on your clothing choice." Without another word spoken she quickly left while her teacher sat smiling as he watched her leave.
As Cady stepped out, Regina stood nearby, talking and sneering with some people Cady couldn't identify. She hoped Regina would ignore her like she did everyone else she considered unworthy of their appearance.
"Hey Cady!" called out Regina before Cady could escape her wrath. What do you want you big slut? Thought Cady as Regina approached her, she couldn't even force a smile. "So what's up?" Regina said as she clutched Cady's arm and linked it with hers. Cady froze, standing still in the middle of the hallway.
"What are you doing?" questioned Cady staring at her linked arm.
"Fine, I'll let go." said Janice, who Cady had thought was Regina.
"Janice?" Cady asked uncertainly squinting her eyes.
"Last time I checked." Janice replied. "Who'd you think I was?"
"No-one, you know what nevermind, forget it...bye!" Cady said and ran off to her art class. Wonder what's up. Thought Janice, eyebrows raised.
Cady panted as she made her way to the bathroom and locked herself in a stall. I can't go on! she thought in disdain as an image of Regina invaded her mind. Cady needed to think of something and fast!
