This is the second, and the last chapter of the story. You are a perfect writer, Flower99Upendi. I support you :)

Simba was going to The Pride Rock with his father, Mufasa. As they went up, they were met by an angry Scar, who had his adopted daughter on his side.

''There you are, Mufasa! I just heard my Zira say, that your little brat attacked her! Can't you control your hairball!?'' Scar yelled.

''I know, Scar.'' Mufasa said, sadly. ''I already grounded my son for it. I'm sorry about what happened.''

''Well, you should be!'' Scar spat and turned to walk away. ''Come on, Zira!''

Zira stuck her tongue out at the golden prince as she left with Scar. ''Enjoy your punishment, hairball.'' She cried as she disappeared.

Simba wasn't mad. He was sad that he was in trouble. But the trouble was worth protecting his best friend.

''Simba!''

''Y-Yes, father?''

''I'm going to the patrol, you stay inside, and don't go out! Your grounded.''

''Yes, father.''

As Mufasa left The Pride Rock, Simba lied in the den and was sad about his punishment.

''Hey.'' A soft voice said. Simba looked up and smiled. It was Nala.

''Hey.''

''About that earlier.'' The young female cub smiled. ''Thank you.''

''You're welcome. I couldn't just watch as they hurt you.'' Simba smiled back.

''I'm very grateful to you. They probably won't come near me again after that.'' Nala said.

''I did what I did.'' Simba said proudly. ''The grounding is worth if it means to protect you.''

''Aw, thank you, Simba.'' Nala licked Simba's cheek and turned to leave. ''I'm sorry about your grounding. But, don't worry, the day will be over soon. And tomorrow, your free, then we can play together.''

Simba smiled and waved his paw after his best friend as she left.
