Arya nervously walked back and forth in the hallway of the Architecture building. Gendry's presentation was around this time. She had seen several people walking towards the auditorium with papers exactly like the same size as his. Finally, she saw the black haired boy walk towards the auditorium.

Arya wanted to call out his name. But the of her stomach began to churn violently. She chocked at the first syllable of his name. 'Fuck' was all she managed to say.

Gendry entered the auditorium. Arya wanted to follow him but she did not know what to say. Arya peeked at the windows on the door and gazed at the massive amount of people inside. She wondered what will Gendry present. If he pulled an all nighter, he could have made something, right? She thought.

The emcee began talking and introduced several guests inside. Arya took her gaze away and slid down and slumped on the hallway.

She already came up with a plan last night. She was supposed to catch Gendry before he enters the auditorium and give him his work. But she definitely blew plan A, and was stupid enough not to think of a plan B.

Arya rubbed her eyes. She didn't get any sleep last night. She tried to ask her brother Robb for help, he was also an architect. Well, if your family owns a construction company, at least one member should be one, right?

Robb made a whistling sound when he unrolled Gendry's design.

"This is marvelous!" He said as he examined the paper. "Where did you steal it?" He looked at her sister.

"I did not steal it, I borrowed it." She crossed her arms. The truth is, she did steal it. The window from Gendry's room was unlocked and all she had to do was slide it, then roll the paper and take it home. Pretty much like a damn thief.

"Oh, you have friends now from the Weirdos building?" Robb laughed.

Arya immediately smacked his arm. When Robb began to study architecture, Arya would usually tease him about it. She said that those from the arts are weirdos.

"I'm sorry. Can you please help me?" She pleaded to his brother.

For a while, Robb wanted to pinch himself. Her sister never asked for help about anything. It was a matter of minutes when their father, mother and Sansa entered the house.

"Oh god, Robb, that's wonderful!" Sansa squealed.

"It's not his," Arya spatted defensively.

"You stole it?" Sansa chuckled.

"Why does everyone think I steal stuff?" Arya waived her hands in irritation.

"It belongs to a.. classmate. I messed it up so I'm trying to fix it."

Now, Arya got her family's attention. They were waiting for her to continue. "I spilled coffee in it." She finally said. And now the Iron Throne is ruined." Arya pointed at the blotted throne. Sansa placed her hands in her chest as if she was hurt. Arya rolled her eyes.

"This is good." His father finally said as he took the large paper and place it on the dining table. "But, the throne is beyond repair." Ned Stark, the CEO of Stark Constructions, Inc. whispered as he traced the lines that formed the beams above the Iron Throne.

"The only thing we can do is to mask the damage." He looked at Arya.

Arya stared at his father before she grabbed the large piece of paper and stormed up stairs. "I'm not eating," was all she said before she disappeared to her room.

Arya peeked again at the windows of the auditorium door. She saw Gendy stand up nervously. He took out a piece of paper. It was smaller than the rest of the presentations, heck, it was only an eighth of the large paper she had rolled in her hands. The fuck? She told herself. Gendry nervously held the microphone. He cleared his throat and began to speak.

"Uhmm, My name is Gendry Waters, fourth year Architecture..." He began. Before he could continue, Arya stormed inside the auditorium.

"Stop! Stop!" She said without thinking. Arya began running down the steps almost tripping in one of them. Everyone stared at her, but she did not care. Her eyes were fixed at Gendry who stared back at her, his mouth wide open.

When she reached at the bottom of the step, Arya smacked the roll of paper on Gendry's stomach. "This!" Was the only thing she said as she panted.

Gendry stared at her, eyes wide open. "Hey! Stupid!" Arya waved her hands in front of him. Behind Gendry stood his design of a room, or so she thinks.

"The hell is that?" She pointed at the small paper. That finally returned him to his senses. "It's a smithy." Gendry said calmly.

Arya raised one of her eyebrows. "A smithy?" Her voice was so loud that it resonated throughout the auditorium. "You exchanged the throne for a smithy?!" She slapped the roll of paper again. This time in Gendry's arms.

"Hey, it hurts!" He said as he rubbed his arms which Arya did not pay much attention. She grabbed the microphone from him.

"Everyone, there's a little bit of misunderstanding." She began. "My name is Arya Stark. And yesterday, I ruined this guy's presentation. But it's now fixed so.. yey!" She said sarcastically. Arya placed the microphone under her arm and unrolled the piece of paper she was holding. She nudged Gendry to help her place it on the board. Gendry moved to help. His eyes questioned her, to which Arya mumbled. "Trust me."

Finally, the paper was fixed on the board. The smell of coffee filled the room. The paper was covered with coffee stains. But it wasn't accidental. A smile crept on Arya's face as she saw Gendry stare at his work. The stains made his design look like it was drawn during the medieval times.

"So that's why we didn't have coffee this morning!" Someone shouted from the audience.

Arya recognized the voice. She turned around to see his brother Robb snickering at the left side of the auditorium. Beside him, their father lay silent, with a smile on his face. Arya's face turned red in embarrassment. She wasn't aware that her father would be here.

To much of everyone's confusion, the emcee held up her microphone and welcomed Arya Stark. She was the guest of honor's daughter. An awkward clap resonated from the room.

Arya gave Gendry the microphone and nudged him to present his design. Arya sat down on an empty seat as she stared at her work, well, Gendry's work. Out of all the submissions, Gendry's was the one that stood out. With, or without the coffee stains. Arya felt a little bit proud at herself.

Gendry began to talk, to which Arya made several affirmative nods. She placed he hand on her chin and paid attention to Gendry. She couldn't even understand all the architectural jargon but she approved of it anyway. When Gendry was finished, she clapped loudly in her seat.

Finally, Gendry quietly sat beside her. Arya raised her eyebrows expecting a 'thank you' from him, but he just sat there. Arya tapped her foot while she impatiently waited for him to talk. Still, nothing.

"Thank you." Gendry finally whispered. Arya shrugged. At the back of her head, She felt proud saving Gendry's future.

"Well, you owe me." She grinned.

"No, I don't."

Arya glared at him. "I just saved your fucking future, stupid."

"But you caused this." He said flatly. "We're even."

Arya felt her nostrils flare up. She smacked Gendry's arm. "You ungrateful fucker." She rasped.

Gendry chuckled in reply.

Halfway through the presentations, Arya felt her lids begin to feel heavy. She glanced at Gendry, he had a notebook open but he did not bother to take down notes. She cursed to herself as she rubbed her eyes. She chose to lose sleep for this ungrateful boy beside him. She began to doze off. The other presenters sounded like a damn lullaby. Her head began to slowly fall to the side. Gendry glanced at Arya as he felt her head bump his arm. For a moment, Gendry smiled at himself and wondered the amount of coffee and the hours it took for her to finish what she did. He then began to scribble on his notebook.

By the time all presentations were done, Arya was already sleeping on her seat. Her head rested on Gendry's arm. He did not dare to move. He knew she was exhausted. When the people started to exit, Gendry had the biggest dilemma on whether or not he should wake Arya up. But the problem was soon resolved when his older brother, Robb smacked her on the shoulder.

"Arya Stark!" He called.

Arya jumped on her seat and smacked the back of her hand on Gendry's chest.

"Sorry, reflex." She looked at Gendry who was rubbing his chest with his hand.

Arya fixed her hair as she stood up. She realized she had fallen asleep on Gendry's arm. A light flush of embarrassment crept on her cheeks. "What do you want?" She glared at her brother, trying to hide her embarrassment.

"Coffee." He told Arya.

His father chuckled behind her brother.

"Mr. Waters," her father said as he made his way towards Gendry. Gendry stood up and extended a hand to Ned.

Ned stared at him long enough to make Gendy feel awkward. Ned cleared his throat. "Your work is wonderful." Ned continued as he shook Gendry's hand.

"Th.. Thank you, sir." Gendry began to stutter.

"I'm sorry my daughter ruined the throne." Ned glanced at Arya.

Arya frowned. "I just saved his ass, that's what I did." She said proudly as she crossed her arms.

His father gave another small chuckle. "If you have time after your graduation," Ned looked back at Gendry. "Make sure to come by Stark Construction. We would be glad to have you as part of our team."

For a while, Gendry could not believe the words that came out of Ned Stark's mouth. His blue eyes shone brightly as he nodded in agreement. "Thank you, sir." He slurred nervously.

Ned smiled at him and began to exit the auditorium. Robb followed his father while Arya stood near Gendry her eyes were also filled with shock.

"Daaaaaamn." She stretched her arms and placed it at the back of her head. "Seems like you just landed a job." She said as she turned around and followed her family, leaving Gendry dumbstruck inside the auditorium.

Arya skipped joyously as she hooked her arms around her father's. "So he will be able to keep his scholarship?" She asked.

Ned looked at her curiously. "Those students always had their scholarship."

"Yeah, but he will be able to keep it. It was a scholarship presentation, right?" She stared back at his father.

Robb laughed as he placed his hand on Arya's head. "Oh my sweet little sister." He grinned. "It had nothing to do with losing or gaining any scholarship. It's just part of the requirements of being a scholar. Once a year, each architecture scholar would present to some guests, this year, the Stark Construction, to see if there might be of some talent for construction companies." Robb explained.

"So..." Arya scratched her head. "So it had nothing to do with any scholarship?" Now, she was confused.

"It is a scholarship presentation." Robb continued.

"Wait, So you're telling me, whether he presented that ugly smithy or the throne, he would't lose anything?" She let go of his father's arm and placed hers on her head.

"No. Just the possibility of employment." Robb answered. "But, the smithy was good too. I would have hired him even if he just presented that smithy."

Arya grunted. "So I lost sleep over nothing?"

Ned and her brother stared at her. "I thought, he was going to go homeless and not graduate if he did not present that big piece of paper!" She stomped her feet.

"What made you think that?" His father smiled.

"Well... The paper was big. And big papers always looked important." Arya realized her argument sank to the ground. That was dumb, she thought.

Robb laughed loudly. This time, he held his stomach. "In the weirdos building, papers that size are normal."

Arya frowned at her brother and cussed under her breath. Her father smiled at her and placed his hands on her shoulders.

"You did good, honey." He assured her. He kissed Arya on the forehead and waved goodbye. "I'll see you at home, dear. Your mother would be very proud." He smiled.

Arya frowned as she threw her bag on her bed. Robb was pretty much animated during dinner time as he told how she almost ruined the scholarship presentation. Sansa laughed with Robb while her mother smiled at her. She was not happy that the disturbed the on going presentation, but Catelyn Stark felt proud that Arya had the guts to owe up to her mistakes, just like a true Stark.

Arya lay down on her bed and stared at the ceiling. Her room smelled like coffee, somewhat relaxing her. It was good that she helped Gendry, she convinced herself. He's still an ungrateful fucker, though.

Arya kicked her bag towards the floor. The contents spilled. Her phone made a loud thud sound.

"Shit." She said as she grabbed the device from the floor and observed it for any breakage. To her surprise, a piece of paper was inside her bag. The sides gave away that it was probably torn off from a notebook. She didn't bring any of her notebooks that day. Arya grabbed the folded piece of paper and started to open it. To her surprise, she saw herself in it. She looked at the clothes she was wearing and figured out that it was the same in the drawing. In it, she had her hands on her chin and she was smiling brightly.

Below the sketch said:

"Thank You."

From the ungrateful fucker.

Arya laughed at the note. Gendry, she thought. Arya rolled back to her bed and silently stared at the portrait. He's definitely good at this, she thought. But when did he make it? She scratched her head. She contemplated on when and how he finished her portrait and slip it inside her bag. She was drowning in her thoughts that she did not notice Sansa enter the room.

"Did you take my hair dryer?" She asked.

Arya pointed on the floor. Two sets of hair dryers were on the ground. One was Sansa's and the other was her mother's. She took them last night as she busily blew dry the coffee stains on Gendry's design.

Sansa slowly walked to the room. Usually, her little sister would immediately send her out, but she didn't. Sansa watched as Arya stared at the paper she was holding.

"What's that?" Sansa said as she sat on the edge of Arya's bed.

"None of your business!" Arya folded the piece of paper and placed it behind her back.

"Okay." Sansa stood up. Arya noticed that her sister was about to leave the room so she took out the paper again.

"Ha!" Sansa shouted as she grabbed the paper from her sister's hands.

"Give it back!" Arya glared at her. She tried to reach for Sansa's hand. But her sister was taller. Sansa chuckled as she saw the desperation in her sister's eyes. Still with both hands raised up, Sansa opened it.

"Careful! Don't tear it." Arya screamed.

Sansa studied her sister carefully. Usually, she would force herself with her to get what she wanted. But Arya stopped struggling when she already opened the piece of paper.

Sansa gently lowered her hands as she stared at the piece of paper.

"Wow." That was all she managed to say as she glanced at Arya and back at the paper.

"Did he draw it for you?" Sansa said as she sat down on the bed. Arya shrugged as she bounced on her bed.

"This is beautiful." Sansa smiled. "And a little bit foul." As she pointed at the note.

Arya grinned as she remembered calling Gendry an ungrateful fucker.

Sansa giggled as she handed Back the paper to Arya.

"What?" Arya said as she grabbed the paper.

"You're blushing." She said as she pointed at Arya's cheeks.

"No, I'm not." Arya immediately snapped at her sister and covered her face with her hands.

Sansa giggled louder. "I would."

"It's not everyday someone would be sweet enough to draw a portrait of me." Sansa said as she left the room.

Arya laid back to her bed. Sansa was being stupid, she thought. It was just a thank you note, she told herself. That's because she helped him. That's all there is to it.

Arya closed her eyes as she drifted to sleep.
