AN: Chapter two of Fragile is FINISHED! YAY! Enjoy!

Dangerous

It takes a lot to break Elijah Goldsworthy. It takes a lot to crack him wide open. It takes a lot to leave him crying, leave him empty. And the only person in the world with the power to do so is also the only person who has the power to fix him.

It's dangerous, teetering on the line of emotional standby, emotional peace. One step in the wrong direction and he's cracked wide open, one step in the other and he's in too deep. It's dangerous, loving her this much. Entrusting his emotional stability in a person with enough power to break him apart and fix him again all at the same time. One minute you're happy, filled with love and the next, your gaping hole is so big and empty you can feel the wind blowing through it.

If he was sensible, he'd pack up and run, run, run away as fast as his legs could carry him. But he knew that sense has no place in love. Strangely enough, he found that he liked being open and empty. He liked being torn a part. Because he knew that whenever he found himself empty, she would always be there to fill him up. And he loved it.

It takes a lot to break Elijah Goldsworthy, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
