"It's simply a PR nightmare," Katherine said as she spread jam on her piece of toast. "I mean did you see what she was wearing? And those dance moves, simply inappropriate."

Brice sighed, "I spoke with her last night and told her about her Selection."

"I still don't think that's going to straighten her out, I mean boarding school didn't work. Giving her thirty-five men to date at once is only going to end in disaster."

"Yes but the Selection happens at the palace, at least this way we can contain the disaster." Brice said.

Harryo entered the room and instantly knew she was being talked about. Her long curly blonde hair was tied up in a messy bun and she was still in her pajamas, a silk nightgown with a matching robe.

"Ah, there you are." Katherine said as Harryo took her place at the table. "We were just talking about you."

Harryo looked to Nicholas who shrugged and turned his attention to his food.

"Your display last night was simply unacceptable. You're a Princess, Harryo, it's about time you start acting like one."

"I was just having fun." Harryo said.

"Yes well your fun landed you on the front page of every magazine and newspaper in the country." Katherine said, and handed her daughter a magazine as proof.

"At least it's a good picture."

"What on earth were you thinking?" Katherine said and shook her head. "Actually, I don't want to know. You're not going out for a long time, young lady."

Harryo rolled her eyes, "That's not fair, I didn't do anything wrong, it's not like I slept with anyone."

"Your outfit last night would suggest otherwise." Katherine said snidely.

Harryo glared at her mother and threw her napkin on the table, "I'm not a child, you can't ground me anymore."

"Actually we can, the guards have been told not to let you leave the palace grounds." Brice said.

"This is so unfair! Nic help me out." Harryo said.

"I mean you did come home drunk, who knew what could have happened to you." Nicholas said.

"Thanks for the help." Harryo said sarcastically.

"The matter is settled, you are not to leave palace grounds and I don't want to hear anymore about this," Katherine said then turned her attention to her husband. "How are negotiations with New France going?"

Harryo tuned out her the conversation, uninterested in politics. Nicholas on the other hand paid close attention. One day he would be King, and Harryo was glad it was him and not her. She thought her brother would make a great King, Nicholas was good at everything he did. All Harryo did was cause problems and get into trouble. Harryo ate her breakfast quietly, thinking of ways she could sneak out of the palace. She did have a date after all.

Harryo and Nicholas were playing tennis, and so far Harryo was winning. She was the better athlete.

"I just don't get it, why can't we have fun like everyone else?" Harryo asked as her brother served.

"Because we're not like everyone else, we're ones and there's a certain standard that we have to uphold. We're role models to the country."

"Well I never asked to be one," Harry said as she swung her racket, sending the tennis ball in her brother's direction.

"Clearly," Nicholas said he ran towards the ball then hit it towards the other side of the tennis court.

"You seem to like it," Harryo said. She swung the ball again and this time Nicholas missed the ball which rolled away. He put down his racket and approached the fence that divided the court.

"I don't like it necessarily, but I understand that it's my duty." Nicholas admitted.

"So if you could give it all up would you?" Harryo asked as she approached her brother.

"I'm not sure to be honest."

"I would kill to be normal." Harryo said.

"The grass is always greener on the other side, I'm sure half the population would kill to be royalty." Nicholas said.

"I guess you're right."

"It's normal to be jealous of what you don't have, and honestly being royalty is hard. I wouldn't wish it on anyone." Nicholas said.

"You got that right." Harryo said with a sigh. "Help me sneak out tonight?"

"Never."

Harryo pushed her brother gently, "You're no fun."

"You need to learn self control." Nicholas said. "I have a meeting with Father soon, I need to go shower and change. Behave today."

"You know me, I always do." Harryo said sweetly.

Nicholas rolled his eyes then made his way back to the palace. "No you don't." He muttered to himself.

Nicholas anxiously paced the front door, keeping eye out for his parents as he waited. He knew Harryo was going to sneak out again, but he didn't know that this would happened. He worriedly ran a hand through his chestnut brown hair. Finally the door opened to reveal two men that Nicholas knew as Gabriel and Sebastian carrying a very drunk Harryo. A couple of girls, Caroline and Adriana, followed behind holding her belongings, including her heels.

"What the hell happened?" Nicholas whisper-shouted. "Is she even conscious?"

"Yeah I'm conspious." Harryo slurred.

Sebastian smirked, "Hey man she was like this when we found her, she was drinking at the bar with some guy."

"Well thanks for letting me know. Let's get her to her room quickly and quietly." Nicholas said.

"All right, Harryo, you need to be very quiet." Nathan said.

Harry blinked a couple of times then nodded.

My parents are going to murder her, Nicholas thought as he led the two boys through the secret passages of the palace. He kept glancing back at his sister who was fading in and out of consciousness. Maybe I should get mom and dad. When they finally arrived at her room the boys got her settled on her bed and the girls closed the door.

"Now what? We have a state dinner tomorrow and I don't think she's going to be in any condition to attend." Nicholas said as he walked towards his sister. He placed a hand on her neck to feel for a pulse and sighed in relief when he did.

"We'll sober her up, I'll order us a bunch of bagels and coffee. Once she gets some food and sleep in her she'll be fine." Nathan said.

"We'll get her cleaned up," Adriana offered. "Nic, can you just get her into the bathroom?"

"Sure," Nicholas said as he grabbed his sister by her sides and hoisted her over his shoulder. "Don't even think about throwing up on me."

"I won't throw up on you, I love you," Harryo slurred. "I love all of you, I should get you presents."

"You can get presents in the morning, let's go." Nicholas carried her into the bathroom and dropped her in the tub. The girls followed behind talking to one another.

"How much did she have to drink tonight?" Nicholas asked Caroline, the most responsible of the trio.

"I don't know, she was there with some man, I think they were on a date." Adriana replied before Caroline could.

Nicholas rolled his eyes, "Perfect."

"Look you need to go unless you want to see your sister naked. We've got it from here, this isn't the first time this has happened." Caroline said.

"I'm trusting you, so take care of her, please. Find me when you're done." Nicholas said then left the room. How did she even get out? Nicholas thought as he walked out of the room.

An hour later Nicholas followed Adriana back to Harryo's room. Nicholas sighed in relief when he saw Harryo in bed fast asleep. Her curly blonde hair had fallen over her face and there was a half eaten bagel beside her, but she was safe and sound. Nicholas always worried when Harryo went out without security. She was short and thin, which didn't exactly make her strong. She was an easy target for anyone who wanted to get back at the royal family.

"Now what?" Nicholas asked.

"We let her sleep it off. Seb and Nate have already left. Just give her lots of coffee and bagels in the morning." Caroline said. "Adriana and I should probably go too." Caroline said.

Nicholas nodded, "Thanks for your help."

"Thanks for not telling your parents." Adriana said then the pair left the room.

Nicholas approached his sister and moved her hair out of her face. He sighed as he sat on the edge of the bed beside her. She was out cold. He had never seen someone so drunk before. But at least she was clean, the smell of alcohol was gone.

Nicholas left her room and headed towards his own, hoping his sister felt better in the morning.
