Hey guys!

Two reviews in one day 3 I didn't think people still read HOA fics but apparently you guys do and that makes me incredibly happy I've gotten 197 views since I reposted.

I'm working on rewriting the chapters that I have already done and those should all be up by Sunday evening (April 5th) Eastern Time.

Quick question, should I remove all of the old chapters or leave them up? A semi biggish plot thing (I think?) changed and I don't know if it would be too confusing or not. Let me know in the comments!

Disclaimer: I do not own HOA

"Simon? Who's Simon? That's Fabian." Said a very confused Amber.

I looked at amber before running out of the living room and up the stairs. Ignoring Victor's yells to stop running, I continued into my room and slammed the door shut leaning against it and trying to catch my breath.

You knew he lied to you. You just didn't think it was about absolutely everything. Name included. My breathing sped up and my breaths became shallow as I heard a knock on the door.

"Go away!" I said before letting whoever was there announce who they were.

"Nina? It's Jerome." I heard him say softly through the door. My breathing still going haywire I managed to move out of the way so that he could open the door and come in. He saw me and then crouched down to my level and put his forehead against mine. "Breathe Nina."

My eyes were wide. He was helping me. No one had actually helped me during one of my panic attacks before.

He took a hold of my wrists then put them around his own before holding my face in his hands. I was looking every except him.

"Nina. Look at me. Look at me and you'll be okay. I promise."

I finally looked up at him and stared into his eyes. They were so bright and so very, very blue. There was something hidden behind those eyes and I was determined to figure it out. I don't know how long we were sitting like that but eventually he removed his hands from my face and I realized that my breathing had gone back to normal.

I managed to get out a thank you before leaning back against the wall.

"That used to happen to my sister, and this always helped, so I thought I could give it a try. I wanted to see if you were okay." I looked up at him again, worry was etched into his face and I had to relieve that.

"I'll be okay. Thank you Jerome."

He smiled again, "Dinner will be ready soon, we should go." He stood up and held out his hand and pulled me up, and we made our way down stairs to dinner.

When we got to the bottom of the stairs, Jerome stopped me.

"Just remember, I won't let anything happen to you, okay? You'll be fine."

I nodded, not looking forward to having dinner with all of them after that had happened.

We were the last to sit at the table and I ended up taking a seat in between Fabian and a redheaded girl with purple streaks in her hair.

After Trudy had left the kitchen the redhead, Patricia I think, turned to face me.

"So, Nina," she said, her voice laced with venom, "what do you know about Joy's disappearance?"

"Nothing. Trudy told me she had to leave and that's all I know."

"Liar." She spat at me. I was very confused, why did she think it had anything to do with me?

The room was silent as tension filled the air. "So Nina, how do you like England?" Asked Mara trying to make small talk.

"It's great! Really different from Michigan but I love it here. The only place I like more is California but that's because of the ocean."

"Nina is an amazing artist." Everyone turned to look at Fabian as I looked back down at the food in front of me. People didn't know what had happened between us, all they knew was that he told me he was Simon. I thought back to that night.

It was a warm night in California and I finally was able to extract myself from my friends dancing on the dance floor and take a break. Not wanting to drink, I ordered an orange juice and sat down at the bar watching my friends dance. A few moments later a cute boy walked up to the bar, ordered a coke, and sat down next to me.

"Hey," I said, "I'm Nina."

"Simon." He said with a British Accent.

"Are you actually British or just pretending?" I asked as I turned to face him. His drink arrived and he took a sip before answering me.

"Real, I promise." He turned to face me. "So, Nina, are you from around here?"

"No, I'm from Michigan. I'm just here for the summer." We made small talk as we finished our drinks. He downed the last of his put the glass on the table and grabbed my warm hands in his cold ones.

"Would you like to dance Nina?" I loved the way my name sounded when he said it.

"I would love to." We smiled and he pulled me from the bar stool and into the middle of the dance floor and we danced.

I was jolted back to reality by a tomato flying across the table and hitting Alfie. I looked up and saw a mischievous look in Jerome's eye.

"Oh no." Fabian said under his breath as Alfie retaliated by throwing a handful of salad at Jerome which also happened to get Mara covered in the green leaves. Patricia was trying to stifle her laughter as Mara threw her salad back at Alfie, also getting Amber. Amber squealed about her hair and flicked her mashed potatoes at Jerome who was laughing his conceited little ass off. He stopped at the potatoes made contact and everyone else burst into laughter with Alfie, Jerome, Mara, Amber and a few other continued the food fight.

And then suddenly I was soaked.

Everyone went quiet, the soft sounds of food falling to the table and jaws dropping filled the room as Patricia laughed.

"Oops."

"Patricia! What is wrong with you?" Said Mara from across the table.

"It was an accident!" She lied, putting the pitcher back on the table and sitting down, smugness all over her face.

I was finally able to move and I got up, a puddle of water forming underneath me.

"Are you okay Nina?" asked Jerome.

"Yeah, I can just feel my sweater shrinking to my body as we speak." Water was dripping off my hands my hair and I stood there is disbelief. I then had an idea. I walked behind Patricia and wrung out my hair all over her.

My mouth opened as well as everyone else's. To be quite honest I was surprised that Victor or Trudy hadn't heard all of the commotion.

"Oh my gosh Patricia, I am so sorry." I said slowly backing away from her and everyone at the table. I didn't know I was capable of that.

"You did that on purpose!"

"No! I mean yes but-"

"Good going Nina," said Alfie and Patricia and I both looked back at him.

"You've got it coming Nina." She then stormed off and I flinched as I heard a door slam.

After five minutes of silence, I was still standing behind Patricia's seat and the others were kind of looking around not sure what to do.

"Good luck to whoever's on chores." Said Amber breaking the silence and making us all laugh.

I started to clear the plates, even though I wasn't on chores, and took them to the kitchen placing them in the sink. I turned on the water waiting for it to warm up when someone turned it off. Sighing I turned it back on, a few moments later it was turned off again and I turned around ready to yell at them but it was Fabian and my heart stopped.

"Can we talk?"

There it is folks! Chapter two! Let me know what you all think please!

Love,

Victoria
