LINE BREAK

At night, an alley suddenly went bright. When it cleared, Mors was standing there. No one had seen that.

"Hmm. I wonder if anyone noticed." He wonders to himself.

He brought his hand into view. He had his combat uniform on. Black trenchcoat, gauntlets, boots, white undershirt and pants. He had a sheath with a shortsword. He examined his body for awhile before something caught his eye. A white strand of hair fell down in his peripheral vision, he looked surprise. He reached back and felt hair. He traced them down and found out it ended at the middle torso. He then summoned a rift and it showed his reflection. Mors was dumbfounded. He looked feminine and didn't have any masculine features on his face. He sighed, realizing this was karma for the pranks Mors pulled on Vita.

"Oh well," he said, dispelling the rift "at least I look good." He admired. He had also noticed that he also sounded feminine involuntarily.

Mors then walked out of the alley, passing a store named 'From Dust till Dawn'. The window suddenly shattered and two people flew out. One was a guy with a black suit and red sunglasses. The other was a little girl with a red and black outfit. Then came out the door, three more people with suits and a redhead with a white suit holding a cane. They assumed battle positions and Mors had calmly walked to the girl.

"Hello." Mors greeted too casually to the girl.

"Um...Hi?" The girl greeted back although confused due to his casual form.

"So...two each?" He asked with a grin. She nodded, still confused.

And the fight began.

Mors slowly walked towards a pair. One was wielding a sword and the other one holding a gun. The sword wielder slashed at Mors, only for the sword to get caught by Mors's gauntlet. Mors then punched him with his free hand and deflected the bullets that were sent his way using the sword. He walked calmly towards the gunner, deflecting every bullet. When he got near, he lunged and hit the gunner squarely in the face with the blunt end of the sword. He looked over the girl and saw she held a very interesting looking scythe. She had knocked out the others.

He looked over the white suited redhead with a cane.

The redhead soon revealed that the cane was actually a gun. Mors needed to get one of those. The redhead shot the ground near both of them. The explosion hadn't fazed him, but impacted his vision with smoke. Once it cleared, the redhead was climbing a ladder to the top of a building. After following him. A transport ship went to extract the redhead.

He then threw a dust crystal on the ground between Mors and the girl. He shot. A huge explosion happened, while Mors was capable of surviving with minor injuries he wasn't so sure of the girl. Luckily, a huntress with blonde hair saved the girl. After throwing several streaks of purple energy at the ship . A new challenger surfaces, it was a woman with glowing clothes. The new challenger launched fireballs that was rather powerful for a semblance.

After a bunch of spectacular explosions and trading fire. A distraction in the form of a explosion was around them.

The smoke cleared. The ship had flew away. Mors was disappointed.

The girl turned to the huntress. "You're a huntress!" She seemed awe-stricken. "Can I have your autograph?

"I hope that you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, young ladies. You put yourselves and others in great danger."

This wasn't an autograph the girl was asking. It's a scolding. A scolding all too familiar for Mors.

He swore on how much he was reminded of his fellow god, Elizabeth. There were very little differences.

"They started it." The little girl said. 'Aw, it looks so fruitless, it is adorable.' Mors thought.

"If it were up to me," the huntress continued. "You'd be sent home with a pat on the back."

The girl smiled. Mors raised an eyebrow.

"And a slap on the wrist."

She emphasized by hitting the table with her crop.

The rose recoiled pulling her hand away. Mors's breath hitched. Yep, little difference.

"But, there is someone here who would like to meet you." She said

She moved out of the way for a man to come into view.

The man had whitish silver or just plain silver hair. Brown eyes, spectacles, a coffee mug and a plate of cookies?

This world is weird.

"Ruby Rose..." He leans forward. "...you have silver eyes."

Ah, yes. Silver Eyes. Is a trait. A very powerful trait. This young lady has the power that could turn the tide. But she is still young. Too young to comprehend what is going to happen soon.

"Uh, um." She seemed nervous.

"So," the man started. "Where did you learn to do this?" He gestures to the screen which shows Ruby's fighting.

"S-Signal Academy." Ruby said.

"They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?" The man looked so emotionless.

Mors felt magic on the man. It confused him to no end. He always forgets who was put into immortality.

"Well, one teacher in particular." She said.

"I see..." The man was taking this too slow.

But Mors had the patience.

"It's just that I've only seen one scythe-wielder of that skill before. A dusty, old crow." The man continued.

It was at this time. Mors had zoned out.

He was not here to change fate.

That was not allowed.

But he could try to save those who were not destined or fated to die. Better yet, warn the one in front of him.

Then again. It would cause suspicion and Mors would not like to have that right now.

"Do you know who I am?" The man asked the girl in front of him.

"You're Professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster of Beacon." She answered.

Ah, that makes much more sense. Ozpin was one of the immortals given a contract.

Ozpin smiled. "Hello."

Wow.

"Nice to meet you." Ruby said. A smile on her face.

"Do you want to come to my school?" The headmaster asked.

"More than anything." She replied.

Ozpin looked back at his assistant and got a 'Hmph'. "Well okay." The girl was open-mouthed.

He then turned to look at Mors. He had already set up barriers to make sure he doesn't find out who he was.

Too late. Mors had saw a flash of recognition on his face.

"Now who are you, young lady?" He asked, setting up a facade of his own.

"Barren Forest." Mors replied. The headmaster raised an eyebrow.

"Hmm. Sounds a little out of place for a woman like you." He said.

Mors chuckled. "More so, than you think." Ozpin smiled.

He must've have found out Mors's true identity or Mors was just paranoid. Because, what he just said to him next just set off alarms on his head.

"Well, from the fight earlier you seem to be really experienced." Ozpin said. "You took the thugs down with little effort and shrugged off a explosive round. Now, you seem to be of age to enter the academy." He continued. Mors was just waiting for him to say it.

"Would you like to come to my school as well?" He asked Mors.

Well. It's a win-win.

'Wow, hopefully I don't become a pawn for Ozpin's plan. It would kill me!' Mors thought. The window beside him showing the daily news. It was about the Faunus Civil Rights Protest being disrupted by the White Fang.

The Faunus just wanted to be equal. What is so hard about that? The racist humans were so idiotic sometimes. The Faunus who thought it was good to react with violence was also idiotic. It just adds to the circle of hate. Mors truly despise the ones who indiscrimatory and racist. The other gods could say that too.

The news was then replaced by the huntress he met last time. She was Glynda Goodwitch. Or as Mors like to call her 'the human Elizabeth'.

After a few moments from the wonderful speech of her. He was greeted with the sounds of terror, among them were Ruby's. But it wasn't the terror, he was more or less used to. It was the terror you would feel when there was puke in your shoes.

Oh.
