Castiel was staring up at the ceiling. Counting the tiles he tried to relax in the chair that seemed more like a lounger. There was no point in escaping now, he kept telling himself. There is no way out so I might just relax.

He heard voices outside the door, talking, walking by. Every time someone came near his room Cas tensed up, prepared for everything, but until now no one had entered his room.

Castiel's eyes kept darting back to the table beside him, eying those instruments that had hunted his thoughts for years now. He feared them to the point that only looking at them sped up his heart rate. He couldn't keep his mind from remembering those horrifying images, when the last thing he could see was the drill, coming closer and closer to his eye. The blinding pain searing from his eye through his head and into all of his body. The feeling of being tied to a table, helpless, with no way out…

Suddenly the door was open and a woman was standing right beside Castiel's face.

She took in Castiel's expression and couldn't fully supress a smile.

"There are always those scared of dentists."
