I'm soooooo sorry for how long it took for me to update. I lost hope with PLL but have recently got back into it. I don't mind Spoby but Spoel is my PLL Otp and i had some lovely messages. So anyway this is chapter 2. I understand if people have lost interest, it's my own fault. I have the next chapter written already if anyone is still interested. Please enjoy and a big sorry for the long time it's took me!
Her head was the first thing she felt. It seemed to be ringing and it was hurting. Her mouth and throat were dry and she felt exhausted. Was she awake? Was this a dream? Either way she knew her eyes were closed and she was laid on something warm and comfortable. To test her theory she flinched her left foot and felt the smoothness of her mattress and sheets.
Sighing contently as she at least knew she was cosy and safe in the security of her bed. What time was it? When did she go to bed? What happened last night? One minute she was in that god awful bar and now she was in a deep slumber back home. But was she home? Was it her bed? What if she'd gone home with some complete stranger?
Spencer, now worried, opened her eyes wide squinting immediately at the change of light. Once again she was filled with relief she was looking at her bedroom door from her bed. At least she was home. Looking at her alarm clock she saw that it was 6.30am on a Saturday. Thankfully she didn't have to get up for anything or anyone. Her parents and Melissa were in New York and she was alone.
But then how did she get home? She couldn't remember driving or walking? Surely she didn't drive if she'd been drinking? Frowning slightly Spencer decided she should get up and try and find out what her current situation was.
Only as she began to sit up she felt something stopping her. Freezing she moved only her eyes down to see an arm wrapped around her waist holding her securely and something had hold of her left hand. She also felt her right foot stuck. Someone was in her bed with her! Spencer slowly turned her head so she didn't wake the person and have to talk to them.
When she did she nearly had a heart attack. There was a sleeping Noel Kahn laid next to her. Their legs were tangled and he had his right arm over her waist whilst his left arm disappeared under her pillow holding onto her left hand.
Spencer was in shock suddenly fragments of last night started flickering through her head and she could remember speaking to him at the bar but not a lot else. Why was he in her bed? The only thing she took comfort in was from what she could see they were both fully clothed so hopefully nothing too bad had happened.
Spencer slapped his hand off of her waist and yanked her hands and feet out of his grasp. The motion caused Noel to stir and slowly wake up. Spencer practically jumped from her bed to be free of him "Explain! Now!" Spencer demanded crossing her arms across her chest and raising her eyebrow angrily.
Noel frowned in confusion "You don't remember?" he asked in his groggy morning voice whilst rubbing his head with his forefinger and thumb to wake up fully.
Spencer narrowed her eyes. Now she was worried "Not really. The last thing I remember was being at some run down bar and I know you were there but I have no idea why you're in my bed. Please tell me nothing happened?" Spencer asked anxiously.
Noel looked up to meet her eyes still confused but shook his head. Once he did he saw Spencer sighed massively and unfolded her arms. He couldn't help but be a little offended that it was such a relief to her as if he was the worst thing that could ever happen to her. "You were drinking and I gave you a ride home. Only when we eventually got here you'd fallen asleep in my car so I brought you inside and crashed here" Noel explained getting out of her bed and putting his shoes on.
Spencer watched him as he did. She couldn't believe Noel Kahn actually did something nice for her. "So why sleep in here? Not the sofa or one of the bedrooms? Why are you so perverted to think you can sleep in here!?" Spencer asked making up her side of the bed.
Noel smirked slightly standing up and heading to the mirror. "Well there was a serious storm outside and I didn't want to drive in it and die so I decided I'd sleep here since you owed me one for bringing you back and once I'd carried you to your bed you were practically clinging to my shirt so I laid down expecting you to let me go but you sleep like a corpse and there was no moving you off" Noel said as he fixed his hair the best he could.
Spencer finished making her bed but stopped when she heard what he was saying. "And why would I be "clinging" to you?" Spencer rolled her eyes. He was so full of bullshit. She then headed to her closet to choose something to change into praying that he was lying and this awful nightmare would be over.
"Deny it all you want Hastings. You didn't want to be on your own last night. You wanted me to stay and that's what I did. You should be grateful anyway" Noel said whilst sitting at the foot of her bed.
Spencer pulled out her skinny jeans and sweatshirt from her closet and glared at him. "If what you're saying is true then it's pretty obvious I was a drunken mess. Whatever I said or did last night was not with a clear mind. Today's a new day and I want you to leave and never speak about this again" Spencer said closing her closet doors and opening her bedroom door for him to leave out of.
Noel chuckled "Fine. Have it your way" he said making his way to the door but stopping just before she shut it on his face. "Have fun walking to get your car" Noel said smirking as he made his way out the door and towards the staircase.
'Shit' Spencer thought. It had completely slipped her mind about that. She couldn't remember where exactly the bar was but hopefully she wouldn't have to walk to far. Sighing in defeat she shouted after him "Noel, wait please" Spencer said making her way behind him to the top of the stairs. Noel stopped halfway down and gave her a smug smile. "Where exactly was that place last night?"
"About 10 miles from here. Shouldn't be a problem right?" Noel said proceeding down the stairs.
Spencer thought about it. She could see out the windows that there were dark clouds forming which meant there was going to be a storm. She didn't want to bother her friends so early on a Saturday and if she did she knew they'd be questioning her about what she was doing at that bar. 'Oh god' Spencer groaned repulsed by her next question "Please will you either take me there or somewhere near by and point me in the right direction?. If it's going to rain i don't want to walk for hours in it. And I don't want to bother anyone or them knowing?" Spencer said silently praying he wouldn't be a complete dick to her about it.
Noel smiled and turned to face her. "One condition" he bargained leaning against the bannister at the bottom of the stairwell. Spencer frowned and looked a little worried about what it would be. "Don't worry Hastings, no one will know or get hurt"
Spencer wanted to kick him out the house and forget about this horrible nightmare. Only she couldn't show cowardice and back down from Noel Kahn of all people. "Ok but I'm doing anything that anyone could find out about and I am definitely not doing anything without clothes on!" Spencer said raising her eyebrows at him and crossing her arms across her chest.
Noel chuckled "I don't do frigid stuck up girls Spencer. It'll be our secret just like last night is" Noel said matching her and folding his arms across his chest. Both of them standing off against each other waiting for the other to back down.
"Fine. Let me get changed and then we'll go. the sooner this is over the better, agreed?"
"Agreed".
Once they were in his car it was completely silent. The awkward tension filling the vehicle. Noel focused on the road as Spencer gazed out the window both hoping time would fly past quickly.
Noel reached over and turned on the radio hoping to fill the air with something. As soon as the radio presenter started speaking he put his attention back to the road. Suddenly they heard the first few seconds of Justin Beiber's 'Baby' playing and Spencer cringed. Immediately she reached forward to change the station as did Noel. Spencer pulled her hand away as did Noel when they noticed they nearly touched each other.
Noel nodded at her to change the station and went back to driving whilst Spencer turned the station to the next one until she found a song she liked. As soon as she heard Me and You by Barry Louis Polisar playing she sat back enjoying one of her favourite songs.
"Didn't see this as being a song you'd listen to?" Noel thought out loud looking at her silently singing along in her seat.
"I like it. It's off one of my favourite films, Juno" Spencer replied tapping her fingers against her thigh along with the music. "What did you expect me to listen to?" she asked turning to look at him.
"Some classical crap. It's what you golden spoon children are brought up on right?" Noel teased tapping his palm against the steering wheel. Spencer rolled her eyes at his comment and turned back to looking out the window lip syncing the song playing on the radio. "Me and you singing to the birds, me and you not saying a word" Noel sang along causing Spencer to jump and turn to him.
She couldn't deny he had a good voice and at least he knew the lyrics. He sang along without a care in the world smiling when he saw he had her attention. She couldn't help but form a small smile. Eventually she decided to also sing along but not as loud as he was "Me and you just singing on the train, me and you listening to the rain, me and you we are the same, me and you have all the fame we need indeed" Spencer then laughed when Noel turned up the song and song along carefree.
She looked down to her lap and smiled shaking her head. He was an idiot but at least he wasn't judging her for her taste in music. Which was about the only thing he hasn't picked on her for in the past. She then sighed and looked back up as he remained singing to aloud with Barry.
Spencer then frowned as she noticed they were turning into the car park of a diner. One she'd never heard of or ever been to before. She looked to Noel in question as he stopped singing and let the remainder of the song play out. He smirked at her confusion as he pulled up as close to the building as he could get. "Hungry?" Noel asked taking his keys out the ignition.
She nodded but was still puzzled as to why they were stopping and couldn't just go to get her car. Either way Spencer needed coffee to function so she decided to go with it and exit the car.
Once inside, Spencer was greeted by the smell of freshly cooked food and coffee. It was designed inside like a vintage 50's diner. There was a black and white tiled floor and an old jukebox playing some old country song. There were seating booths back to back with each other and chairs along the counter. On each table sat a yellow and red ketchup and mustard bottle. Along the walls were old records, pictures of old cars and adverts for random signs.
There were a few people sat eating already even though it was barely 7am. Most of them were older people in their business attire clearly grabbing breakfast before work. A mother was also sat with her daughter who was busy colouring in on the activity page she obviously got with her menu whilst her mother spoke into her phone angrily. There was also a few elderly couples sat talking and looking in their newspapers. Spencer couldn't help but feel slightly comforted here. She didn't know why she'd never been here before.
"What you gonna get?" Noel asked breaking her attention. He was looking up towards the signs above the counters along the wall displaying what food is served here. "I think i'm going to get the waffles and bacon" he thought out loud as the waitress appeared at the counter smiling at him "Well well, Amy Cage. How the hell are you girl?" Noel asked smirking at her and leaning forward onto the counter.
"I was fine until you showed up Noel. Does my dad know you're here?" Amy asked pulling her pen out the front of her apron as well as her notepad.
"No, where is Rich? He in the back somewhere?" Noel asked looking around, the young waitress nodded.
"Yeah he never leaves the kitchen" Amy teased rolling her eyes. "So what do you want to eat?" she asked Noel. Spencer couldn't help but notice the glint in the girls eyes when she spoke to Noel. It was clear she liked him, she used to have the same look in her own eye when she spoke to Toby. She quickly put him out her mind and focused on Noel as he ordered his food and drink.
"Hastings? What do you want?" Noel said looking over his shoulder to Spencer who was taken aback by the question she thought he was ordering for himself and completely blanking her. Spencer looked from Noel to Amy who had a slight frown on her face. She'd clearly just noticed Spencer's existence and was puzzled as to why she was Noel.
"Coffee, orange juice please and pancakes" She said still looking between the two awkwardly. Amy broke out of her trance and wrote down the order.
"Ok take a seat. I'll bring it over" Amy said in a less enthusiastic voice to what she had when she spoke to Noel earlier. Spencer nodded and looked around at where to sit. She'd always liked looking out the window so she headed over to one of the booths at the side of the diner with Noel following behind.
"You come here often?" Spencer asked as they sat opposite eachother. He leaned back into his seat casually where as she sat up and held her hands together on the table in front of her.
"Usually. It's normally a lot louder but since you've got us both up before 7am it's pretty much dead" Noel said reaching in his pocket and pulling out his phone breaking eye contact with Spencer.
Spencer figured that that was his sign he was done speaking to her so she looked out the window. She'd rarely been to this side of town before. Why the hell did she have to leave her car somewhere she didn't know. If she remembered she could've got up and got it and wouldn't have to put up with Noel of all people. She HAD to stop drinking and get her shit together.
She thought about her mum, dad and sister. All in New York and blissfully unaware of what had happended to Spencer and she inteneded to keep it that way. She didn't want them getting involved and trying to look after her. Same with her friends, she loved them to bits but Spencer was now sure more than ever that she was the only person controlling her life not A not her friends and not her parents but her.
"Okay here's your drinks. You're food's on the way" Amy said interrupting them. Spencer looked up and took the coffee and juice from her noticing the waitress didn't look at her once. Noel smiled at her and thanked her as he took his own coffee and juice from her. "No problem Noel" she said as she then walked off leaving them to it.
Spencer frowned at the rude girls behaviour. What had she done wrong? She was having breakfast and a complete stranger was giving her attitude for nothing! AMy needed to calm down if she thought for a second that Spencer was interested in Noel! "I don't think your friend likes me" Spencer told him as she sipped her juice.
Noel smirked and looked up to Spencer "Amy? She's a nice girl but too nice. I think she's always liked me more than I will ever like her" Noel said stirring his coffee.
"Or anyone" Spencer muttered quietly looking down at the drink in her hands but not too quiet because Noel heard her loud enough. He frowned at her and sat up.
"Meaning?" Noel asked. Spencer looked back up at him unfazed by his change in behaviour.
"Well if you know she likes you then why lead her on by flirting with and giving her false hope. You might see it as some fun game but it's not. Just because you're allergic to relationships and actually being with someone doesn't mean the rest of the world is. And when you like someone and they hurt you like you will do to her when you reject her it fucking hurts ok?" Spencer finished her rant. Noel remained silent, he just stared at her. She was mad at herself for opening her mouth to begin with but she was done with guys treating girls like shit.
"For your information princess, I don't see it as a game with her. I've been coming here for years and her family, who run this place, are like another family to me. I don't want to lead her on or hurt her because she's like a little sister to me. Don't take out on me whatever Toby did to you. I'm not him" Noel said mimicking Spencer's glare.
"I know you're not. I'm just saying to be careful with her. Bringing me here has now made her jealous and she hates me because she likes you" Spencer said back.
"Jealous? Of you?" Noel said suddenly smirking and laughing slightly "Then she's delusional"
"Exactly. We both know that nothing would EVER happen and that she has no reason to feel that way but I'm sick of guys behaving like complete dicks and hurting girls so I think you need to break it to her gently or maybe take her out if she likes you that much"
Noel thought for a minute and looked behind him to Amy who was gathering their food on a tray "Look just mind you're own business Hasting's. It doesn't concern you" he said turning back to Spencer.
"Well it does when I'm the one being glared at for doing nothing wrong. She's probably spat on my pancakes" Spencer said rolling her eyes as the small petite waitress made her way over to her. She saw Noel smile at her response and shake his head.
"Ok so we've got waffles and bacon for you" Amy started by picking his plate off the tray and putting it in front of Noel "And then we've got pancakes for you" she said in a less interested voice as she gave Spencer hers still not making eye contact. "Enjoy" she said as she quickly scurried off. Spencer raised her eyebrows at Noel.
"See? Hates me and all because i'm sat having breakfast with you" Spencer said as she picked her knife and fork up.
Noel laughed "Watch for spit!" he said as he tucked into his bacon receiving daggers from Spencer as they proceeded to eat.
They remained silent as they finished their breakfast. Once done they made their way out the booth and to the counter to pay. Noel saw Spencer reaching into her bag to get her purse and shook his head. "Don't worry princess. I'm not that much of a dick to get you to pay for breakfast. After all it was my idea to come here" Noel said ignoring her protests. Amy walked up to him and asked for the money required from him.
Spencer stood back trying to make the girl behind the counter feel less uncomfortable. As soon as she had her car back the better. "Have a nice day Noel" Amy said as she handed him his change and receipt. Spencer scoffed and turned to face the door noticing how Amy made a point of only speaking to him.
"Amy we're friends right?" Noel said putting his wallet in his pocket and crossing his arms across his chest. Spencer froze why had he just asked her that?
Amy stuttered and was as taken aback as Spencer with his question "Ye..Yes... of course we are" She said in confusion.
"Ok good. See Spencer here thinks you like me more than friends and that's why you seem to have a problem with me. But I've told her that's stupid because we're friends nothing else right?" Noel asked casually. Spencer turned round to Noel and Amy stunned by what he'd just said.
"What?" Amy said looking between Spencer and Noel awkwardly. "N.. No. No of course not. We're just friends" Amy said fumbling with her words. Spencer didn't ignore the sad tone in her voice when she said it. Spencer couldn't believe Noel had just done that to them so she tried to help the poor mortified girl out.
"No, sorry, ignore me. I must've made a mistake. I'm hungover and tired. Noel lets go" Spencer said giving Amy a small smile which Amy returned. Noel smirked and nodded heading to the door. Spencer looked at Amy and mouthed 'I'm sorry' which Amy nodded at she then turned to follow Noel out the diner to the car park.
"See told you not to worry princess" Noel said as he unlocked his car before getting in.
"You complete dick! Why would you do that to her? You just humiliated her and me for your own enjoyment. You really are sick!" Spencer said getting in his car and slamming the car door after her loudly.
Noel smirked "Well it put her in her place and also you so I wouldn't say sick but honest instead" Noel said starting the car up.
"How much further to my car?" Spencer snapped angrily putting her seatbelt on refusing to answer him
"Calm down Hastings, I did just buy you breakfast" Noel said pulling out of the parking space.
"My hero (!)" Spencer scoffed at him "Seriously how much longer? There's no need to prolong this between me and you" Spencer said crossing her arms across her chest.
Noel rolled his eyes at her "About 15 minutes. Just chill ok?" Spencer scoffed and shook her head. She watched as black clouds formed in the sky above them looking as angry as she felt. "So when does Melissa and your parents get home?" Noel asked obviously trying to kill the tension that was filling the car between them.
"Tomorrow evening" Spencer said not looking away from the sky. "What about you? Wont your parents be wondering where you got to last night and this morning?"
Noel was quiet for a moment and shook his head "No. They're happier when i'm away" he mumbled. Spencer looked over at him and noticed his eyes were firmly on the road and his eyebrows creased slightly. She'd obviously hit a nerve mentioning his family.
"You're joking right? Your parents are always bragging to mine about their amazing sons and all your achievements" Spencer said frowning back at him. The Kahn's and Hasting's had regularly seen eachother out as both of their dads seemed to get on - to eachother's faces at least. They were both wealthy and had good jobs so it seemed any given opportunity they deemed it ok to show off their children to eachother.
"No they talk about Eric. The reformed golden boy who's the apple of their eye. I'm the disappointment, the other child that they wish was exactly like him" Noel said gripping the wheel slightly as he thought about how mad his parents made him. He knew he wasn't perfect but every time he tried he seemed to be shot down in flames for doing everything wrong.
Spencer sat for a minute. She hated to admit it but she knew exactly how that felt. All her life there was some kind of rivalry between her and Melissa which was created by their parents from the day they were both born. "Tell me about it" Spencer said looking out the window once more to the streets which were unfamiliar to her.
Noel glanced over and chose not to push her on it. They weren't friends so there was no need to have a deep conversation but still he couldn't help but notice how the tone in her voice matched his when they spoke about their families. Maybe they had at least one thing in common after all. "So what are you going to do for the rest of your weekend? You going to go see Aria, Emily or Hanna?" Noel said trying to break away from a very touchy subject for them both. Spencer shook her head and spoke up.
"No. They're all at a sleepover right now. They're going shopping later on but i'm not in the mood so I'll see them on Monday" Spencer said looking down at her hands in her lap. "What about you?"
Noel smirked "You've just decided for me. Once we've got your car you're gonna do me that favour we spoke about earlier. Don't worry it's not a big deal" Noel said as soon as he saw Spencer immediately go to protest. "You won't get in any trouble princess" he teased.
Spencer glared at him. He was such an idiot. Karma really had it in for her today! "I better not" she said sighing praying for this day to be over as soon as possible.
As time went on Spencer frowned confused as to why Noel was heading back in the opposite way of where they were going. She knew these streets too well. Uncomfortably well. The road that he stopped the car on made her feel sick and the house he pulled up outside started to make her panic and feel as though she could pass out. It was Toby's.
"What the hell are you doing! Get me out of here now Noel!" Spencer protested as he turned off the engine and undid his seatbelt.
"Here's the deal Hasting's. I know you know where the spare key is for that place. Tell me and then I'm going in. I need you to be on guard for me. Keep an eye out whilst I break in" Noel explained casually as he glanced around the deadly quiet street making sure no one was out.
"What?! Are you crazy! You can't break into their house!" Spencer said panicking even more now due to his stupid idea. She put a hand to her chest in order to try calm her heart rate.
"Of course I can. No one's even in. Jenna and Toby have gone off somewhere and their parents are never home. I wont be long just tell me how to get in and then I'll go in get what I need and then we'll go get your car. I promise" Noel said eyeing the house whilst he spoke
"Noel. Even though no one's in you can't just break into their house! It's illegal you idiot if we got caught..." Spencer started but was cut off by Noel
"We won't. You can lie your way out of anything anyway. Seriously I won't be more than five minutes. Let's just go and get on with it" Noel said getting out his car. Spencer froze for a moment. This was the last place on earth she needed to be. Today was not her day! She quickly got out after him hoping to be the voice of reason and stop him from making a huge mistake.
"Noel please!" Spencer said running round the car stopping in front of him halting him. He immediately shushed her and checked around them for people. "What is so important that you have to break in! And what makes you think I know where they keep their spare key!" Spencer said frowning and putting her hands on her hips.
"Cut the bullshit Hastings. Jenna told me she didn't trust you because Toby told you where the spare key was if you ever needed it. She didn't feel safe in her home because she thought you and your friends would be spying on her" Noel explained causing Spencer to scoff.
"She didn't feel safe. You're joking right" Spencer laughed in disbelief "Her and Toby are as twisted as eachother! God what the hell was i thinking?" Spencer said out loud to herself looking back at the house.
"See? We've both got out while we still can. They're fucked up but that bitch has got some stuff of mine that I want back" Noel said as Spencer turned back to him "Now please, help me get in there!" he said in a quieter voice.
Spencer paused and thought about it. It wasn't like she actually had to go in there. It was only him technically breaking in. She was just keeping a watch out for any of Toby's family. "Ok, but I'm staying out here and if you're any longer than 5 minutes I'm walking away" Spencer warned causing Noel to smirk.
"Atta girl Spencer" he teased "Where's the key?" he asked as he looked past her to the house. Spencer sighed and pulled him around the back of the house out of sight. She reached down to the floor and pulled a loose rock up pulling a small gold key chain from under it.
"It's for their back door. Now please hurry with whatever you have to do. I'm gonna be in your car. If I see anything or anyone I'll shout you so be ready to go!" Spencer ordered pushing the key into his hand. He nodded and smiled at her causing her to roll her eyes "5 minutes and counting. Go!" she said quietly and made her way to the front of the house to his parked car.
Thankfully with it being so early in the morning the neighbourhood was deadly silent so she didn't feel as anxious with no one out and about. Once inside his car she let out a huge sigh. How the hell had she got here?
All of this because she chose going drinking in some awful bar over going to see her friends. Once she got her car back she was going home to shower and sleep and get the old fighting Spencer back. She was done being the victim. Especially when it meant helping Noel Kahn break into her ex's house. She didn't know what Noel was really doing but that didn't concern her. The less she had to do with it the better. Spencer kept her eyes firmly on her watch and the street in front of her. Not long to go now.
4 minutes and 15 seconds later she saw Noel heading round the back of the house with a bag in his hand he ran over to his car and threw the bag into the back of his car. "Sorted, see it wasn't that bad right? We're fine" Noel said clicking his seatbelt on.
Spencer looked behind her to the garbage bag that was filled with clothes and a some other random items including a DVD that sat at the top of the bag. "Con Air?" Spencer read as she smiled slightly "You went in their to get your stuff back? I thought it would more serious than clothes and DVDS" Spencer said as he started the car up again and drove away from the house she hated most.
"Well she wasn't going to give me it back anytime soon. It's not much but it's mine. I gave her a bracelet for her birthday that belonged to my grandmother. Plus Con Air is the greatest film ever" Noel said proudly.
Spencer was a little surprised at the kind gesture he did by giving Jenna something so meaningful. Maybe he had a small shred of a heart after all. "Never seen it" Spencer muttered as she looked back out the window but jumped slightly when she heard Noel scoff in shock.
"How have you not seen Con Air? It's amazing. I'm telling you it's so much better than that shit film you were going on about earlier. What was it? Junas? It sounds lame to begin with. You haven't lived Hastings" Noel said shaking his head and smirking when she turned to face him protesting.
"Firstly it's called Juno and it's actually really good you're just a small minded guy who thinks that any rom com must be shit. Well it isn't once you've seen it" Spencer said.
"Ok I'll make you a deal. You watch Con Air and I'll watch Juno and then you tell me your teen girly film is better than Con Air. Guarantee you wont be able to" Noel said holding his hand out for her to shake.
Spencer smiled "You're on" she said shaking his hand. "Now focus on the road. I want to get my car back ASAP please" she said turning the radio back on from earlier. She switched through the channels which thankfully he didn't mind.
It seemed like she'd been looking for ages when suddenly Noel stopped her "Wait go back one" he said. Spencer did so and listened as the start to Bon Jovi's Always began playing. Spencer raised an eyebrow in question and he shrugged "It's a good song"
Spencer shrugged also "Ok just please don't sing, you re not this guy" She said as she tapped her fingers along with the song.
Noel laughed "I promise" he said as he smiled which caused Spencer to smile slightly back at him. This wasn't how she ever pictured her day but this right now in his car listening to one of the best love songs ever written, well it was quite nice.
