Addiction Chapter 2:
It was late at night and Mello couldn't sleep, an obnoxious noise kept drifting in from the living room. The sounds of explosions, horns, gun shots and men yelling gave Mello two options. Well, maybe three. There was either a war going on, Matt was watching a movie, or he was playing a video game. The last being the most likely of course. He groaned and yanked himself out of the bed and marched sleepily into the other room, grabbing a bar of chocolate on the way in. "Matt. It's 3AM. Please shut up."
"I can't, it's the second to last level Mel!" The blond growled and turned the TV off with a smirk. Matt's face turned into a horrified expression, and his eyes got wide and stared in shock at the screen. "I don't care. I need to sleep." Matt stood up and glared fiercely at Mello, while the other snarled back in response. "Why did you do that, Mello?"
"Because you're like a zombie, always playing those games." A hand promptly reached and grabbed Mello's chocolate bar from his mouth. "Fair is fair. Oddly reminiscent of yesterday, eh?"
"Not at all," Mello snarled, narrowing his eyes, "I hope you aren't expecting that to happen again."
"Oh no. Of course not." There was a hint of deviousness in Matt's voice now, and it made Mello uneasy. So the chocolate addict took initiative, shoving Matt to the couch and crawling over him. "How's it feel to be the victim," Mello crooned, dipping his head towards the crook of Matt's neck, whispering in his ear, "Matty?" The red head grinned back up at him, mashing their lips together for a moment or so, then separated to reply breathily, "pretty damn good. But, I still prefer the top. Just so you know, Mel." Mello raised one eyebrow and chuckled darkly, "we'll see."
THE (SHORT) END.
