Ideal Girl
"So Neji, what's your preference? Do you like girls with short hair or long hair?"
"Depends."
"You have to choose."
He sighed and massaged his temples. There was bound to be a headache coming. Also, he was running out of patience because for two hours straight, yes he was counting, Tenten had been relentlessly asking him questions.
He was confused to say the least; there wasn't any need for that.
Really.
"It depends. Next question," He could just ignore her but went against it, she was so into this question and answer portion today.
Not to mention she was pacing back and forth, a pen and notebook in hand and always seem to be deep in thought.
And all the while letting him seat by her bedside table watching her.
She paused in her steps and looked at him again, "By the way, girls with make-up or no make-up?"
Why?!
Well, that was the question that had been replaying on his mind. "Why do you even want to know?" He asked her, a brow raised in question. His expression was already bearing confusion and a little bit of irritation.
Yes, he didn't even bother to hide it now.
"Curiosity, " She clicked her pen and gave him a somewhat determined glance.
Again, what was up with this 'ideal girl of his' curiosity?!
Reaching out for her arm, he pulled her into his lap. "Tenten," He started off seriously all the while enveloping her in his arms. "I don't even understand why you're doing this when clearly… you are already my girlfriend." He put emphasis on three of his words.
She smiled sweetly, "Just curious."
For the nth time that day, he sighed. "Then you might as well know that it never crossed my mind."
"How come?" She wondered.
"But if it comes down to it," He paused. "if you must know…"
A smirk, a kiss and a reply. "I only want a girl who has Y, O and U in her name."
"Oh."
Well, that was her.
