14th October: Tuesday

Tuesday was the only day Xephos didn't have any classes with his friends, but most of his classes with Ridge. The weirdness of yesterday hadn't really left Xephos' mind. He walked into his form room and was instantly greeted with questions on where he was during afternoon form.

"I was suspended for 'furiously kissing' Lomadia. Jesus the school rules are tight." He exclaimed just as Mr Sparkles had walked into the room with a piece of paper against his face, almost as if it were glued there. Mr Sparkles sat down on his desk chair and looked at the room filled with his form students all talking to one another.

"We have a change in school rules," he shouted to the class, which quieted down the moment he finished.

"Shows of affection or kissing, has now been allowed, with strict rules at the times and places of said affections. If these rules are violated, detentions will be handed out." Mr Sparkles said.

The whole form cheered and cheering could be heard from other form rooms as the great news was told to other classes. The form bell rang and it was off to math with Ridge. The math teacher, Mr Bodders, made sure that Xephos and Ridge stayed up the back in the left corner. Most of the teachers put Xephos and his form colleagues into the back corner. It was kind of good since they could just walk out of the class, without the teacher noticing. Xephos rarely did this, rarely. Xephos lifted himself off of his chair and began walking out of the classroom grabbing his stuff as he did so.

Xephos walked up to his dad's office and knocked.

"Come in Xephos." His dad called, as Xephos was the only student who knocked on the principal's door.

"Hi Dad. I need to ask you something. Is there a reason me and the rest of the guys in my form room get treated like we're different?" He asked in a soft voice almost like a whisper. Pyrion looked up from the large stack of papers and put his pen back into the space mug Xephos got for his birthday. He motioned for Xephos to take a seat.

"You know I became the Principal of this school as soon as you began attending this school." Pyrion said as he put his hands together and leaned forward.

"Yes, and you changed all of the students around into different forms. What I'm asking is… why?" Xephos said continuing the conversation.

"I got every parent of every student who was at this school and who were coming into the school, and I ask them one question…just one question. Does your son or daughter have something strange about them? And if the parent comes up with something that is abnormal, I put them into form 4-D. The other teachers noticed my actions and I explained to them that the 'strange ones' need to become friends with each other, and not be left in a form feeling like an outcast." The bell for second period rang, but Xephos and his father ignored it and Pyrion continued his story.

"I know that people have strange traits. People all over the world have them. I met a woman who had to power to stop children from crying. It is strange and almost useless, but normal peoples genetics don't have that." Genetics? Does that mean that Dad or maybe Mum had powers?

"Does that mean that you have powers or does Mum have powers?" Just as Pyrion was going to answer Xephos question, Mr Ceeraanoo walked into the room. He's the kind of teacher that you think is super creepy when you first see him, but once meeting him and getting to know him, Mr Ceeraanoo isn't all that creepy. Mr Ceeraanoo set a foot into the room, stumbling on his way, thanks to the mass pile of papers he was carrying in his arms. He walked over to Pyrion's desk and deposited the papers onto the desk, not even noticing the tall boy sitting opposite to the principle.

"Here are the other administration papers." After placing the papers next to already existent pile, Mr Ceeraanoo finally noticed Xephos. He looked down at his watch, at the clock on the wall and then back to Xephos

"Shouldn't you be going to your next class? Mr Flax needs to finish these papers, so run along." Xephos stood up and looked over at his father. Pyrion gestured him to leave, and then turned his head and began talking to Mr Ceeraanoo.

Xephos walked over to his English class. He abruptly stopped in the middle of the hall way and suddenly realised that his father never answered his question. He turned around and bumped into a boy walking in the same direction as his English class.

"Ow… Watch where you're going!" Xephos looked down to see Parv lying on the ground. Xephos extended his hand to help Parv to his feet.

"Sorry, I was walking to my English when…" He was interrupted by Parv grabbing him by the arm and yelling…

"We'd better get to class or Mr Keith will kill us."

Xephos almost died in English, after having to sit next to Parv because he was late. His Computer Tech teacher, Mr Ruiz taught him about some stupid idea of a computer that would turn matter into energy and information. It was no fun listening to him talk to us about ME computers. By the time it was recess, Xephos was done for the day.

When he walked into the canteen Xephos could clearly see two tables had been put together so that all 20 students in form 4-D were sitting together. Zoeya and Fiona were pecking each other on the lips; it was like a chicken eating seeds, but instead two girls kissing, and much slower. Lalna and Nano were kissing, and it was definitely kissing furiously. Lalna had the table bench between his legs and Nano was sitting between his legs, her legs wrapped around his waist. Her fluxed hand glowed purple in Lalna's hair, which wasn't tied up for once. Sips and Sjin were making out as usual. Most of the other guys were talking to Ridge about what was happening over the weekend, or were looking at the couples making out, in a disgusted manner. Xephos realised that all the couples were sitting on one table plus Teep on the edge trying to sign to his sister. But the others were sitting on the other table. Xephos noticed Lomadia sitting with the couples and walked over to sit next to her. The moment he set down with his lunch, ready to unwrap it, he was met with a pair of lips and a tongue. The sensation of her kiss rushed through him, and they had to pull back to breath. This must be why my father changed the rules. Well, might as well enjoy it. Xephos pulled Lomadia to his chest and she spread her fingers through his hair. This continued until the end of recess and during lunch as well. The lunch bell had called and Xephos thought it would be a good idea for them all to go to the park after school on Wednesday. The couples answered 'Sure' and everyone else answered with 'and see all of you make out, no thanks.' So now Xephos and Lomadia, Sips and Sjin, Zoeya and Fiona, and Nano and Lalna were going to the park after school.

The end of school bell rang and Xephos went over to the car park. He was shocked when he found his car completely demolished. The tires had been slashed, the windows were smashed in and the driver side door was busted. Xephos knew that if he showed a bit of anger, the culprits would continue to wreck his stuff for fun. Xephos took out his phone and dialled his dad.

"Hey son. How's it going?" Pyrion asked the moment he answered the phone

"Not good. Someone decided to trash my car. Doesn't look like they took anything. Will you be able to drive me home today?" Xephos asked, knowing his dad might say no. Since his dad has kept the 'No family connection' policy, they decided to make some rules, and one of them states that his dad won't drive him to or from school.

"Sorry I can't. Found some students running back from the parking lot with Swiss Army Knives and Sledge Hammers. They're probably the ones who ruined your car. Just walk home, it isn't very far, and if your slow enough I might catch up to you" Well at least he found the culprits.

"Ha ha. You're so funny. Well see you," He replied and hung up the phone.

Xephos had walked for ten minutes and was going to be another twenty before he got home. This is shit, having to leave my car and let Dad sort it out. Its not like I'm still a child. Xephos loved his dad. He was the very feminine type. Xephos' mother lived in America and never spoke to him. Just as Xephos was thinking about how his father acted just like a typical mother, he heard a car slow down next to him.

"Hey Xephos, since when did you walk home" Fuck, since when did Ridge drive down this road

"My car broke down, so I'm walking." Xephos continued and Ridge followed at a slow pace

"Get in the car. I'll drive you home" Ridge stopped his car next to Xephos. Xephos groaned as he entered the other males car.

"I live on Spencer Drive." Xephos softly said, telling Ridge the street he lived on.

"Cool. I live on Spencer Drive too" Ridge said, all too excited for Xephos' liking… again.

"You must live on the other side of the road. I thought I had seen this car before." The rest of the drive to Xephos' house was peaceful. The two males talked about what they usually did after school. It turned out that Ridge and Sips did soccer together at the local soccer ground, which Xephos had already guessed. It was a very quick conversation as Ridge pulled into a driveway that Xephos expected to be Ridges house.

It was a big house with large marble columns and a big wooden double door. Xephos was amazed at how he didn't notice the fact that Ridge not only lived in the house across the street from his house, but how well designed the outside looked.

"Well, thank you for dropping me home" Xephos said as he grabbed his bag from his feet and opened the car door. He turned he legs and dropped his feet to the ground.

"Hey Xeph" Xeph, only my friends call me that. He thought even though it sounded really nice coming from Ridge's mouth.

"Hmm" Xephos turned to see Ridge's face only a few centimetres away from Ridges face. Ridge did the strangest thing anyone had ever done; he planted a kiss on Xephos' nose, much like how Strippin kissed Smiffy before the Almighty Hamburger Eating Competition. Xephos blushed with embarrassment and walked across the road to his house. As he stepped onto his porch, Xephos could hear a 'Bye Darling' coming from Ridge. Xephos was now hot and flustered, having to fumble with his keys just to open the door. He dropped them on the floor and a laugh escaped Ridges mouth.

Dinner was nothing too extravagant, chicken schnitzels with vegetables. Xephos and his father ate in silence, much like they usually did. Xephos needed to ask his dad

"So…hmm…why did you change the school rules to allow kissing during the break times?" Xephos looked at his father, who looked as if he knew Xephos was going to ask about the new school rule

"Because you made a very relevant argument the other day… and so that my son could do some more kissing, and not get in trouble for it." Great. Now Dad's probably going to change all the school rules so I can 'do the thing' with Lomadia…I guess that isn't a bad thing. Xephos and his father had finished dinner. Xephos took a shower and went off to bed, and thought about the troublesome day he had ahead.
