This led him to the docks. Not to far from him was Felix, Sarah and Izzy were examining a mysterious hole they had found.
"I wonder what lives down there? " Sarah said.
"Well," Felix said with a mischevious smile, "Theres only one way to find out." With that, he began to stick his hand down the hole.
"No!" Sarah yelled stopping her twin brother.
"Mighty fine hole, ain't it?" they heard from behind them.
They turned. "Captin Jim!" the three children cried in surprise. They knew him quite well. He was always helping father on his cases. "I made the hole myself to tie my boat up." Captain Jim said rather proudly.
Izzy was about to ask why when Holmes came up. He was followed by Watson. "I need a ride, Captain." He said, helping himself into the boat. Watson and Captain Jim followed, and the children made moves to do the same.
"No." Holmes said sternly. Watson waited for an argument to peruse as it always did. Captain just Jim smiled. Telling these three no never worked.
"Please," Felix pleaded. Sarah was already at the helm and Izzy casting off.
They sailed off. "When ya ganna give it up, Holmes?" Captain Jim laughed, shaking his head. Once again, Watson wondered how the kids always got the best of them. That was one mystery him and Holmes would never figure out.
"Now," Holmes said taking off his disguise and grouping them together. "Stay here," he said very sternly.
"But-" Sarah started to protest.
"Listen to yo father fo once." Captain Jim said. The kids never did know when to stop pushing. While they waited, they sang a sailors song Captain Jim taught them.
