Hey there everyone! It's your friendly writer Iseethemoon! I'm here to tell all you lovely people that have favorite and followed this story, even wrote reviews for it even after a five year hiatus from me, after only one chapter!
awful I know, and for that I wish to apologize to everyone, especially for the few of you who may still be keeping your eyes peeled for a second chapter. Unfortunately, this is a huge middle finger to ya'll in the sense that this is not the awaited second piece. In fact, this is an announcement to all of you, that after so long I'll finally come clean. I don't know what happened to it, where it went, if it's in a flash drive, ol cd computer, or even in a notebook somewhere, but I have completely lost this story. It's sad but true. If it's in a notebook somewhere, it's gotten lost in a couple of moves, and is stuffed somewhere in a dusty old box in a storage unit that's likely got dead bugs and stuff inside. And if my box of wonderfully written fan service was completely buried beneath my repertoire of books that I haven't seen in oh, say maybe seven to eight years? I would most certainly go trudging through the jungle of boxes to find it.
I am however almost 100% (like 99% really) certain that everything I have written down in this story is on an incredibly old laptop of mine that I cannot for the life of me get to stay on for more than a few seconds. The battery fried, and everything stored on it, if it wasn't saved to my iCloud, or I didn't send to my email, is completely gone. I don't have the time or funds to try and retrieve any memory from the dinosaur, and unfortunately, that concludes this very brief fan fiction.
Believe me I have tried to continue it, and because the series has continued, which I've half kept up with (I typically wait for about ten chapters before I catch up), but the passion I once held for what would have been a very comical, yet moving story is gone. I had wonderful plans for Sho, mostly him pulling his head outta his ass, a confusing yet hilarious friendship with Cain and the cast members, and an OC character, who most of you don't understand why she's in, was a moving force in Sho's darastic change to from a diva to an actual human being with feelings. I am heartbroken, have been for a while, about this stories lack of continuation, but with a five year old writers block, I just can't seem to pull out the intense excitement I used to have for this story anymore.
Again, I apologize to you, my very few readers, to this awful excuse, and this false chapter some of you may have been excited for, but this story is kaput.
That being said, my five year hiatus was not without some thought. I've recently gotten into Rping (role playing) via Facebook, and wth encouragement from my fellow rpers and friends and the like, I've grown confident in my writing again, and also mostly numb to the judgement of others and their criticisms. A few reviews on this story, though I know meant no serious harm to me, did in fact discourage me to rethink my story, and was the main reason why I stopped, but not the reason why I never continued. Within these five years, I would like to believe, would be elated to believe, that my writing style has gotten more progressive. I have tried desperately to improve my writing style, everything I can think of, but of course not without faults. Due to my ADD, I jump from one thought to another and back again repeatedly, which causes me to very frequently moved back and forth from pretense to past tense and back again, and since I am rarely on my laptop these days, most typing I do is actually on my iPhone, so I don't even notice minor mistakes like an n where a m should be, or a b where a space should be. Even now I'm writing this on my phone.
Lately, I have been testing the waters of my writing skills, tiptoeing my way into character depth, and with more encouragement from people I trust, I am happy to say that I am currently writing a new fan fiction. However, due to my friends lack of literacy, spelling, and grammar skills, I'm lacking an efficient beta reader who can also be an ideal editor for this new fan fiction.
a little bit about this fan fiction, it follows the story of a young fox half demon named Kasumi, who has lived all her life not only in hiding and fearing who she was, but being kept hidden from the outside world. She's of noble blood and birth, and follows the life of a woman in feudal Japan.
If you haven't been able to guess the fan fiction, I will inform you now. It's an inuyasha (anime) fan fiction. It will be a sesshomaru x oc story, but for the first several chapters of the story it follows Kasumi around before it gets to sesshomaru. I need someone who loves the series and understands the characters and their personalities and all that other stuff, who can also help me out with terrible writing habits I have a hard time fixing. If you are interested in being my beta reader for this developing story, please, leave a review on this chapter piece stating your interest and I will get back to you.
thank you all for reading this (if you did) and again, I apologize for this huge middle finger by making you think it's a chapter update.
