A/N: Hey Everyone! Here's the newest version of Chapter 2! I hope you all like it!

The girls awoke with a start, Eve had been having nightmares about her past again, and whenever she had nightmares things would heat up, literally. They would all have nightmares, flashbacks to when they were first captured by the men who sold them into slavery. Though, Avalon, Calisto and Lily all agreed that Eve had it the worst. Calisto thought it was a rather strange coincidence that all four of them had manipulation abilities and they had all been bought by the same asshole family, well three of them had been bought, Eve had been forced to become their slave because of the shield incident. Apparently becoming their slave was considered having mercy on her because she was a child, but Lily didn't believe in coincidences, she thought it was fate or destiny that the four of them had met.

It had been twelve years since they had become slaves, and the family they were with used them primarily as cooks and maids. Eve, Avalon, Calisto and Lily were all like sisters to each other, Avalon had even come up with the idea to give Eve her name. She had said it meant "Life" and that it suits her because she is starting a new life, with a new family. It meant a lot to Eve that after all of those horrible years of growing up, that she would find someone who actually cares about her, let alone three someones. Eve thought back to the day when she met her sisters, she was covered in bruises, and she watched as these three girls about her age were bought on the auction stage. Once they were all back at Mariejois, they were all shoved in the same room together. Eve couldn't help but smirk as the image of how her dear, dinghy little ginger came up to her and tried to play with her hair. Eve had snarled at her and lit her hand on fire to scare her away. But, did it work? No, of course not, but truth be told, she was glad.

"So," Lily spoke up to break the silence between them, "I heard something interesting today."

"Oh?" Eve glanced over at the silver haired girl, "And what would that be?"

"Well, apparently our personal bitch of an owner is bored of us. She wants new toys, so we're going to be sold at the auction in two weeks."

"Oh, ain't that just peachy!" Avalon scoffed. "I think we should almost be offended that she's just gonna up and throw us away after all the shit she's put us through."

"Really? I say it's about damn time." Eve chuckled.

"What makes you say that, Eve?" Calisto eyed her curiously.

"Well, think about it, it's not only an opportunity to get away from these assholes, but the lack of security in the back rooms will provide the ideal time frame to escape." The raven haired girl rolled over onto her side from her back to face Calisto.

"Just what the hell are you planning?" Avalon whispered in excitement.

"Exactly that. Our freedom. We've worked hard at training our powers, so we've got a good enough handle on them to be able to fight our way out if need be. And we should have just the right opportunity to steal the keys to our exploding collars when they hand over the paperwork in the back rooms." Eve grinned deviously.

"I'm game." Lily chuckled.

"Me too!" Calisto giggled.

"Okay, why the hell not!" Avalon smiled at their enthusiasm.

"Oh!" Lily started remembering what else she was going to tell them earlier, "I've also heard rumors that there are these Eleven Supernova Pirates, and they're going to be in Shabondy the same time we are. I guess they're a big deal, everyone's talking about them."

"Pirates, huh?" The girls could tell Eve was formulating another plan. "Ya know, pirates are supposedly freer than anybody. And they are some of the biggest thorns in the Government's side…" She clicked her tongue in thought.

Avalon glanced between Eve and Lily. "So, how about some details? Did you happen to get any names or descriptions of these supernovas?"

"Not all of them, but the biggest ones are 'Straw-hat' Luffy, 'Pirate Hunter' Zoro, 'Massacre Soldier' Killer, and Eustass 'Captain' Kid, and Trafalgar Law the 'Surgeon of Death'. I don't know much in the way of descriptions, or bounties. Just the names." Lily sighed.

"EUSTASS KID?!" Calisto squealed. "Eustass Kid is going to be on Shabondy the same time as us?!" She could hardly contain her excitement.

"Yea, what's the big deal?" Eve questioned the ginger.

"He's my older brother! Mina! I want you guys to meet him! I can't believe he's a pirate now! And he's going to be so close!"

"Hang on." Eve shook her head, trying to get her thoughts straightened out. "You have a brother?"

"Yup." Calisto nodded her head once.

"And he's a wanted criminal?"

"Guess so." She grinned.

"This could work." Eve's tongue clicked in thought again. "The chances of him being at the auction are pretty damn good, so…" she paused, "do you think there would be a good chance of him recognizing you? I mean, it has been twelve years."

"Well, we don't really look that much alike, aside from our hair color, so I don't think it would be that easy for him to recognize me. Especially since, I look like this." She gestured to her now thin frame, they were all thin and malnourished. Their hair didn't shine the same way it used to, the three of them were pale to begin with, but Avalon's skin wasn't as dark as it once was. After a moment of silence, Calisto giggled, "I wonder if Kid still doesn't have any eyebrows."

"Your brother doesn't have eyebrows?" Avalon chuckled.

"That would actually narrow down the number of people we have to look for." Eve smiled. "How much older is he?"

"Not much, maybe um…" Calisto paused to count the age difference between herself and her brother, "five years, I think. He should be about twenty-four now."

"Okay, so a twenty-four year old man, bright red hair, and no eyebrows. How many people could actually fit that description?" Lily shrugged.

Two weeks passed as the four girls worked out their plans for escape. Their "owner's" father, Saint Tsuko, or as Eve commonly referred to him, the fat goldfish, (he was very overweight and had gold-orange hair, so he reminded Eve of a goldfish) arrived with the girls at the auction house. As they walked toward the building, Calisto began to get nervous. And, as she commonly did, began to space out as she walked, and as was also a commonality, she walked right into someone. Looking up, she was met with a rather large wall of muscle.

"What the hell! Oi, girly, watch where you're going!" The rather tall, well-built ginger, seemed pretty angry. "Pff... stupid woman, not paying attention..." The man grumbled to himself.

"Oops, sorry. I was distracted by those hideously tacky pants of yours. You might want to get those washed. Looks like a sea-sick clown threw up on them… oh, never mind, that's just the design." She very sarcastically retorted, flipping her jaw length hair back out of her eyes. Granted, she wasn't the best at coming up with insults, but that was the best she could do at the moment. This guy was a jerk. She had just only run into this guy, doesn't even know his name, and she already did not like this prick.

"Che… I don't have time to waste on a little snot like you. Be glad I let you live." He snarled.

Geez, she really didn't like this guy. "Oh, how thoughtful of you, oh great one! Thank you ever so much for blessing me with your kindness…" She just rolled her eyes and continued to walk inside. She wasn't going to waste any more energy on this ass, and she certainly hoped she wouldn't ever run into him again.

As the red-haired girl walked away mumbling to herself, Kid only rolled his eyes. "That little snot sure has a lot of nerve. I don't care if she's a slave or not, who the hell does she think she is talking back at me like that!?"

"Who are you going on about now, Captain?" Kid turned around, it was only his first mate, 'Massacre Soldier' Killer.

"I don't know who she is, but I don't like her already. Maybe I shouldn't let her off so easily…" He grimaced in anger. "I'll make her regret talking to me like that…"

"Don't waste the energy Kid, I'm sure you'll get your chance later. You said she was a slave, right? So if she's going in there then that means she's up for auction. If you want to make her miserable, just buy her." Killer stated rather matter-of-factly. He couldn't help but wonder to himself, 'who on earth was she, and why do I feel like I've met her before?'

"Who the hell does he think he is?" Calisto was flustered, almost infuriated that this man would talk down to her like that. She had enough of that from the Nobles, she was not about to take that sort of talk from a nobody. "He should be glad I didn't drown his sorry ass!"

"Cali. Relax. Whoever that guy was, it's not important right now. We need to focus on the task at hand." Avalon tried to calm the red head. "On a slightly un-related note, does anyone else think it would be a good idea to rob these people blind? I mean, this is an auction, and people are going to be prepared to pay a lot of money for us slaves."

"Oh, Avalon," Eve grinned, "you are brilliant, you know that? Lily, as soon as our chains are off, run as fast as you can and take as much as you can. Once we're free, these people are going to make a run for the exits, so we need to take their money before they make it out the doors."

"Hai!" Lily smiled. She was excited, it wasn't very often when she could get the chance to literally, run like the wind. "Um. Cali? Are you still pouting about that guy? What did he look like?"

"I dunno. He was really tall, and had ugly pants on. That's all I really saw." She pouted. "I can't believe the nerve of that guy. I should be thankful he let me live?! Oh, I don't think so buddy. Just you wait till I get these things off, we'll see who should be grateful to whom…" The three girls just deadpanned at the fuming red head.

"Where the hell did this come from?" Avalon whispered to Eve.

"No idea. I've never seen her react like this." Eve whispered back.

"Boy, he must have really struck a nerve with her." Lily whispered to the other two as well.

"I hope for her sake, she didn't piss him off in return. I'll bet you anything, if she did, he'll probably try and buy her to get revenge." Avalon continued to whisper. Eve and Lily nodded their heads in agreement. "Regardless of what happens, this is going to be the best auction ever."
