I own nothing.
Chapter 2
Jackie had hoped that when he got done making love to her that Stephen would go to Sam and tell her to get the hell out. She wanted him to declare his love for her. To tell that shank that he had accidentally brought into their lives that he never loved her and that marrying her was a great mistake. Jackie wanted more then anything for them to be together and for him to kiss her and tell her he loved her in front of everyone. She wanted things to be as they should have been all along. Those all seemed to be faulty hopes though because he didn't do any of that. Stephen didn't fix it and instead Jackie found herself waiting for him to do all of it. And the longer she waited the more fed up with waiting she became.
"It's like I've become his whore" Jackie often thought when he would show up every night to crawl into her bed, leaving Sam, his wife, to lay in bed with her using her body up before simply leaving the next morning.
"It's not fair" Jackie would think when she woke up to find he had gone back to her always lying back in her bed feeling a sadness as she wished just once to wakeup to find him still there with her.
It was like she was his sloppy seconds, his whore on the side, but then one day it got worse. Jackie had pictured things getting better before they got worse, but not as worse as they would get. She never imagined the hell that was about to engulf her life. Despite what had happened with Sam and Donna, Jackie still often found herself at the Forman's, but only when Red was there. Red liked her, and they would often sit together in silence watching TV. On that day, that's where Jackie found herself, sitting on the couch as Red sat in his chair in the living room. She was enjoying the silence and Red company and she was happy that somewhere in this house she was still welcome. Red was in his chair, Jackie on one end of the couch, and when Stephen exited the kitchen, he sat on the other end. All was peaceful and silent until Sam entered from the kitchen.
The room became thick with tension immediately. For a split second, Jackie and Sam's eyes met, and for a moment Jackie thought about leaving. Red caught her eye then though and she remembered that she belonged there, not her. It kept her in her place, but she could see that her presence there was making Sam angry. She wanted her out of that house, now. Sam stood there just outside the kitchen door watching her in silence. As Jackie focused on the TV once more, Jackie wondered if she would attack her again, if she would do that even though Red was sitting right there. For a moment, she was afraid she would, and that almost made her leave.
"What are you doing here? Do I have to beat the crap out of you to get it through that stupid head that you aren't wanted here. Get the fuck out" seethed Sam her hands balling into fists as she stared Jackie down. Jackie glanced at her only briefly before turning back to the TV not letting her see her fear. Sam slowly made her way towards her and Jackie felt the hairs rise on her neck. As the fight began, Stephen sat on the couch between the two women, and silently he waited.
He had known this moment would come. The moment when Sam would attack Jackie again only this time he would get in her way. He would finally tell her that he never loved her that he had always loved Jackie. In a way, he was glad this moment was finally here, but then Red stopped the fight before it could begin.
"I said get out" seethed Sam moving so she was almost past Stephen as she spoke. Again, Jackie ignored her not moving, and Stephen braced himself for the moment to come. He was ready to jump up from the couch when Red made his presence known.
"You're the one who should get out of here, dumbass. This is my house and that one's the only one I like in it. I just tolerate the rest of you, dumbasses, and you. I don't tolerate you at all, you just happen to be married to that dumbass" snapped Red leaving Sam to stand there shocked. Red had never made it a secret that he didn't like her, but she had always thought that was just the way he was with everyone. Now, she was learning that wasn't the case. Apparently, he hated her more then the usual person. As she stood there staring at him along with Jackie and Hyde, Red just sat there not caring as he focused on the TV once more.
"Either sit down and be polite or the front doors right there" snapped Red not even looking at her. He sat staring intently at the TV as Sam continued to stare at him. It was like she didn't understand what was happening and watching her, Stephen wondered if she actually did.
"Alright, she won't wanna stay when I make my announcement anyway" said Sam almost skipping into Stephens lap. Jackie kept her composure but staring intently at the TV she watched them out of the corner of her eye. She wanted to grab her dirty blonde hair and yank her away from her man, but then she looked at Stephen. That wasn't for her to do. She wanted him to do it. To tell her that she was nothing to him and tell her that he loved Jackie, but Stephen just sat there with that whore in his lap.
Stephen was watching Jackie too. He knew what she wanted and looking at Sam, he knew he had to tell her, but he couldn't yet. He didn't know what was holding him back, but he couldn't yet. Instead, he sat there like a dumbass as questions went through both their minds. Who did he love? Who did he want to be with? But Sam's words drew all eyes to her.
"Stephen Baby, I'm pregnant" exclaimed Sam peppering his face with kisses. What she said rang around in his head, he couldn't believe it, but Stephen knew what those words meant. He was stuck, he couldn't leave Sam to be with Jackie, and as her name entered his head Hyde couldn't help looking at her, those words still chiming.
She looked like she was going to be sick.
"Oh, holy hell. Kitty, you better get out here" exclaimed Red breaking the small silence that fell. Jackie couldn't stay there another second. She was up and running past all of them into the kitchen and she didn't even know where she was going. She didn't even know what she was doing. It was like the room was spinning. Stephen quickly moved to follow her, their thoughts the exact same as he pushed Sam away not caring about her. He knew he should especially if she was carrying his kid, but all he could think about was Jackie. Pushing Sam across the couch, Hyde ran after her entering the kitchen seconds before Jackie started to puke in the kitchen sink. Kitty ran to her side in the same moment as Hyde then Red once he entered the room.
Sam entered next, but Red put her right back out.
"Get out of here' screamed Red making her leave immediately.
"Red, what's going on. What were you screaming about" whispered Kitty looking between them and Jackie as she continued to puke into the sink. Everyone looked on in silence not knowing what to say or how to explain and worse not wanting to upset Jackie anymore. Stephen reached out to touch her forehead and instead only made her sicker as she wrenched away.
"Sam is pregnant" whispered Stephen immediately getting a glare from Kitty as she looked between him and Jackie as if she knew the extent of what was between them as she tried to sooth her. That was when tears joined the sound of Jackie's puking. Kitty held her close as Stephen tried to do the same, but Kitty quickly pushed him away knowing the girl wouldn't want him touching her. Slowly, Jackie moved, almost stumbling away from the sink. Her head was spinning, and looking at each of them, Jackie felt like she was falling. She fell to the ground each of them barely catching her.
