Just a random idea that I came up with. I really don't know what Zero and Gingka are up to in this, they're just goofing off. Speaking of whom…
Gingka/Zero: (in stereo) Galaxy does not own Metal Fight Beyblade!
One-shot #2: 'Phone Theives' Gingka and Zero team up and steal everyone's phones to play a prank on them.
It was about a week after the defeat of the DNA. Kira and the other former DNA bladers had settled into normal life quite easily, which was rather surprising. The other bladers were still scared of them, but that was only to be expected, as they had been the bad guys for quite a while before helping Zero and his friends defeat the organization they had previously worked for. Other than them being on the good guys' side now, one other thing was different.
"Zero! What is up with this?" Shinobu yelled, bursting into Bull Burger and holding up his phone.
"What are you talking about?" Zero asked, turning from the burger he was eating to look confusedly at his friend.
"This! You stole my phone and took a bunch of selfies on it!" Shinobu shoved the phone in the Ifraid wielder's face.
"Wha- that wasn't me!" Zero exclaimed, looking at the various pictures of him making silly faces.
"Then how come these are all of you?" Shinobu yelled.
"Well, I do remember those pictures, but- hey! Wait a second!" Zero turned angrily to look at a seat, only to find its occupant gone as the front door to Bull Burger slammed shut.
"Gingka-san! Get back here! You said that was your phone!" Zero raced out the door, following the waving scarf of a certain fleeing redhead down the street.
"Huh?" Shinobu was confused.
Benkei face palmed. "Great, up to his pranks again."
"What are you talking about?" Shinobu asked, turning to look at the older blader.
"Before Gingka left, during the last week he was here, he played several planks. It looks like he has taken up doing them again." Benkei explained.
"That was great! How do you come up with these anyway?" Zero asked, catching up to Gingka at last.
The redhead grinned. "Stick with me, and we'll soon have the whole group pranked." he pulled another phone out of his pocket.
"Who are we pranking this time?" Zero asked.
"Kira."
"Ooh, this will be dangerous. We probably shouldn't take pictures of ourselves this time."
"Yeah, which is why we're going to convince Iwayama to take selfies with us."
"Oh, you're evil!"
Gingka laughed. "But not in the I'm-going-to-take-over-the-world way. Now, let's go find that crazy Goreim blader."
The two walked casually down the street, avoiding Shinobu and Benkei as the two headed for Bey Park, running past and completely missing the two champions hiding behind a parked car. Gingka stood and snapped a quick picture on Kira's phone, then darted into a nearby alleyway.
"Better idea, follow me." the redhead said before somersaulting over a wall and disappearing.
"Hey! Wait up!" Zero scrambled on top of a dumpster and scrambled clumsily up the wall.
"SO, what are we doing?"
"Taking pictures of random people walking down the street until we fill up the phone memory, then returning it. Think we can do it before tonight?" Gingka asked, snapping a picture of a random couple.
"Yeah!" Zero laughed.
"And while I'm working on Kira's phone, you work on Genjuro's." Gingka tossed another phone to the Ifraid blader.
The two ran around for the next couple of hours, laughing and taking pictures. They passed Tsubasa, Madoka, and Maru, probably headed for the WBBA, jumped in front of them, snapped pictures, then started walking along with them.
"What are you two crazies up to today?" Madoka asked.
"Just taking a bunch of random pictures." Gingka said, placing an arm around her shoulders casually.
"Why?" Maru asked.
Gingka grinned and held up Kira's phone. "Because, we're just trying to fill up some memory here. We're taking pictures of all of our friends and rivals. You missed the scene at Bull Burger earlier, Benkei and Shinobu are hunting us down at the moment."
"Yeah, we are!" Shinobu's voice came from behind them.
"Time to go!" Gingka disappeared down an alleyway before anyone could react.
"Huh? Where did he go?" Zero glanced around for the Legendary Blader.
"Zero! You are in so much trouble!" Shinobu grabbed the black-haired blader's shoulders and shook him.
"Wha- but it was Gingka-san!" Zero struggled to get free of Shinobu's grasp.
"No, if it had been him, wouldn't you still be yelling at him, instead of following him?" Shinobu asked.
"Hey, guys! What's with all the yelling? And has anyone seen my phone?"
Zero quickly slipped Iwayama's phone into his pocket. "Hey Kira! You lost your phone?" out of the corner of his eye, he saw Gingka pop up, snap a picture, and disappear again inside a dumpster.
"Yeah, and so did Genjuro, Iwayama, and Spike." Kira said.
"Oh, really?" Zero asked innocently.
"Hmm, maybe we should find this phone thief." Gingka said, reappearing and tossing aside a banana peel that was hanging from his headband. "He might be trying to take over the world using our phones."
"But that's ridiculous! How can you take over the world using a phone?" Benkei asked.
"Well, I'm sure it's possible, and I'm sure that Doji is probably behind it." Gingka said. "We should be on the lookout. In the meantime, good luck finding your phone. Come on Zero, let's go. Maybe a look around the collapsed DNA headquarters will tell us something."
"But that's a two days' walk away!" Zero protested as Gingka grabbed his wrist and started pulling him away.
"Those two…" Madoka trailed off, then laughed.
"They've been practically inseparable since they got back from defeating the DNA." Tsubasa smiled. "I'll look up stuff at the WBBA, if you lose your phone, tell me immediately."
"Got it." Madoka said, patting her jacket pocket, then pausing and reaching into it, a concerned look on her face. "My phone's gone!"
"Are you sure you didn't leave it on the counter at the B-Pit?" Maru asked.
"The DNA headquarters are the other way…" Kira muttered.
"Huh?"
"Zero and Gingka-san, they went that way," Kira pointed, "But the DNA headquarters are that way."
"Hmm, maybe they went to get a bus or something." Maru thought aloud.
"Kira! We should try calling our phones and see if we left them in the warehouse!" Genjuro called, running up to the group.
"Me and Arrow already tried that." Kira sighed. "On his phone."
A ringing sound came from Tsubasa's pocket. The silver-haired blader pulled out his phone and answered it after seeing that it was showing Spike's number.
"Hello?"
"Hey Tsubasa! Find out anything yet?"
"Gingka? What are you- wait a second!"
"Oops, gotta go catch a train, see you!" Gingka hung up.
"What did Gingka say?" Madoka asked as Tsubasa placed his phone back in his pocket and growled under his breath.
"I found our phone thief." Tsubasa replied.
"He did?"
"No, I did. As of right now, Gingka is a wanted man. We have to find him and Zero. Kira, the first one to find them wins, tell the rest of their friends."
"What? What did they do?" Maru was stunned.
"Stole Spike's phone, that's what. That was Spike's number, but Gingka was the one who called me on his phone. He probably has everyone else's phones as well, which would explain the sudden disappearance of Madoka's phone, just after Gingka incidentally put his arm around her shoulders. He probably slipped it out of her pocket while none of us were looking." Tsubasa replied.
"That makes sense! He stole my phone and took a bunch of pictures of Zero on it!" Shinobu spoke up.
"Let's go then! They can't have gone far!" Tsubasa said, running down the street in the way Gingka and Zero had gone.
Shinobu quickly dialed Ren's number.
"Hello?" the blonde answered a few seconds later.
"Ren, we have to find Gingka-san and Zero. It's really important. If you see them, don't let them escape!" Shinobu said.
"What! Why?" Ren exclaimed.
"They're going around stealing everyone's phones and Tsubasa-san said to find them before they steal anyone else's." Shinobu replied. "Call everyone!"
As he ran, Tsubasa dialed Kaito's number.
"Hello?"
"Kaito, it's Tsubasa. If you-"
"Sorry mister, you must have the wrong number."
"Gingka! Just how many phones have you stolen so far?"
"I don't know, try calling them!" Gingka hung up.
"Where are we going, anyway?" Zero asked as they continued running.
"To Metal Tower, it's been abandoned for years since it was damaged in the Nemesis Crisis." Gingka replied.
"Okay! Let's go!"
"Keep filling up the memory of Genjuro's phone in the meantime, and tell me when it's full, I have a few more phones here to fill." Gingka said, snapping a bunch of pictures as he ran.
-Later that night-
"Well, we filled up everything. Should we go back and return these now?" Gingka asked, snapping a final picture on Madoka's phone and setting it aside as it alerted him that its memory was full.
"Yeah, let's do it!" Zero agreed, yawning.
Gingka chuckled. "Tired?"
"Yeah, we did get up early this morning."
"Before the sun rose, and now it's nearly midnight." Gingka confirmed, leading the way towards the stairs.
Zero let out a yawn halfway down, and his eyes half-closed as his head drooped forwards.
"Here, hop on." Gingka said, kneeling down. Zero hesitated, then climbed onto the redhead's back. Gingka stood, grabbing Zero's knees, and gave the younger blader a piggyback ride all the way to the B-Pit, dropping off the former DNA bladers' phones on their way. Zero was asleep by the time they reached the familiar shop. Gingka snuck into the building silently, then laid Zero down on one of the couches inside.
"Alright Gingka, give me my phone back." Madoka's voice sounded out of the darkness.
Gingka chuckled. "I thought I snuck in without being noticed." he pulled the pink phone out of his pocket and handed it to the brunette.
"You do know that you're in a whole lot of trouble, right?"
"Yeah, I guessed that much, judging by the fact that Tsubasa tried calling a few of the phones that I had."
Madoka turned on the light suddenly, revealing the rest of the gang standing around.
"Am I really in this much trouble?" Gingka asked, looking around with a mischievous grin on his face.
"Yes." Madoka replied.
Gingka sighed and pulled a few more phones out of his pockets.
"And Kira, Genjuro, and Iwayama?" Madoka asked.
"Zero has them." Gingka turned and shook the sleeping younger blader awake.
"Huh, wha?" Zero blinked a few times, then panicked. "We've been caught? Run!"
"Zero!" Gingka called as the teen began running up the spiral staircase.
"Yeah?" Zero paused for a second.
"You might want this." Gingka grinned, holding up a black phone with Ifraid's face bolt design on it.
Zero grinned and held up a blue phone with a Pegasus design on it.
"Looks like we both had the same idea." he laughed as Gingka checked his pockets.
"Better give back Kira, Iwayama, and Genjuro's phones though." Gingka replied, handing Zero his phone.
"Right." Zero handed Gingka's phone back to its owner and reached into his pockets. Within a few minutes, everyone had their respective phones back.
"Guess we should go to bed now." Gingka yawned, heading upstairs.
"And three, two, one…" Madoka trailed off as the younger bladers, with the exception of Iwayama, looked at her confusedly.
Right on cue, a startled yelp was heard from upstairs, followed closely by the sound of Gingka returning downstairs.
"Madoka! What is this?" the redhead asked angrily, holding up an empty bucket. He was completely covered in Jell-O.
Madoka laughed. "You prank, you get pranked. Simple as that."
"Ughh, now I need a shower. Just what did you put in this stuff anyway?" Gingka asked, holding his nose and turning to go back upstairs.
"Oh, you don't want to know." Madoka replied innocently.
Gingka: Are you kidding me? It's going to take weeks to get this smell out of my hair!
Zero: Ughh, same here.
Both: Galaxy!
