I was reading over my lovely reviews for the one shot and was inspired. This has been written for so long but I had so much trouble uploading! I have several things written and ready to be published, but as I said uploading has been a bitch. Hopefully everything is sorted! Enjoy!

A special and humongous thank you to XxYesterdayTodayTomorrowxX, and to Lmb111514, for inspiring this chapter.

Epilogue

Their lips moved together furiously, their bodies as close as possible, but not close enough. Her nails scraped his bare back, digging into his skin, and he groaned at the pressure. He rocked against her, and her legs tightened around his hips.

His lips moved to her neck and she sighed in pleasure. "I love you," she whispered.

His arms enclosed the entirety of her small waist, her body arched as he pulled her up to sit on his lap, her legs on either side of his hips.

His hand slid down her side, then tightened on her bare hip. "As I love you." His reply was quiet, no louder than her own declaration. "I've missed you so much."

She leant down, her lips lightly touching his, caressing his lips.

Moonlight streamed into the room and the couple continued into their first night together for ten years.

Zeus' eyes were wide as he stared around the Olympians.

"So," he cleared his throat, "well, we all know why this meeting was called, but, uh, it looks like we've all got something else on our minds."

Athena looked up from her magazine on recent archaeological discoveries to see half the Olympians looking at her, the other half at her husband. She rolled her eyes and looked back down.

Poseidon tapped his foot, his Trident swinging from one hand to the other. "Let's get on with why we're actually here."

All eyes turned to him; well, all except his wife, though that was to be expected. When they'd discussed this morning how to handle the questions that were sure to come (which had been odd, because not only had they not seen each other in ten years, but they hadn't woken up beside each for years before that), Athena had mentioned it was unlikely she was going to pay attention to this particular meeting. She didn't really care about where he'd been, and why it had taken so long; she cared only that he had come back to her.

He'd even gone down to the mortal world to get the magazine she was now reading (he realized now it had been a bad idea, because now he was left with all the questioning gazes).

"Oh, uh, yeah." Zeus cleared his throat again. "So, Poseidon . . . what the fuck? How long have you been with my daughter?"

Poseidon groaned.

Without looking up from her magazine, Athena replied, "3811 years." She looked up, her eyes to the sky, her brows creased. "Or is it 12?"

Poseidon suppressed a laugh. "Uh, its actually 13. But you were close, I can forgive that."

She smiled at him. "Mm, yes, especially with those missing ten."

Both Poseidon and Athena turned to Zeus. "Speaking of," Athena said, "maybe we get back to the reason we're here?"

Zeus nodded in agreement. "Yes, alright . . . after just one more question. So you're . . . married?"

"Yes, younger brother, we are, but I'm sure you won't have a problem with that considering it was your wife who officiated the ceremony. By the way, in case any one cares, Coeus is back in the Underworld, after a crazy ten-year game of hide-and-go-fucking-seek, but rest assured, I have dealt with the problem, despite massive personal cost, so if you could butt out of my marriage – which is personal – so that we can talk about whatever else we need to talk about, it'd be greatly appreciated."

Silence.

"What about Amphitrite?"

"She's always known, Apollo, she was the witness," Athena replied. "Oh, hey, the humans found a hydromancy well in the Kerameikos at Athens, Apollo!"

"Oh, really? I loved the Athenians, they really knew – hey! Don't change the subject!"

Athena looked up from her magazine, and closed it with a sigh. "She and Poseidon were never married, you all just assumed so because she lived with him. She lived with him for private reasons that none of you need to be privy to, and no I never had a problem with that. Poseidon and I were married three thousand eight hundred and thirteen years ago, after I won patronage. No, our fights aren't as aggressive as you think they are, but yes, they are real.

(Across the room, Poseidon muttered, "Makes for great make-up sex though," and she glared in his direction, but otherwise ignored him (even if it was true)).

"No, we will not be giving you any information about our relationship, but yes, now you all know we will be more open. Only Hera and Amphitrite know; Hera officiated the wedding, Amphitrite was the witness. Okay? Okay."

"I knew," Aphrodite said. Athena and Poseidon looked at her curiously. "Oh please, as if I wouldn't know! You two are so in love I can still feel it when I go to the other side of the world."

Athena smiled slightly, her head tilted to hide her slight blush.

"And you have sex?"

"WHO SAID THAT?!"

"Yep – oh. Sorry, love."

Zeus huffed. "Well, it seems that all our questions have been answered. Um, is there anything else we should know about?"

"Hey, 'Thee, now would be a good time to mention the thing . . . you know, the thing."

"Oh, yeah, that's probably a good idea. Well, go ahead, you do the honors."

Poseidon grinned. "Well, Zeus, since we're sharing all these personal details and you now that your daughter and I –"

"Gods, Fish Brain, just spit it out!"

"We have a kid."

Gasps. Outcry. "What?" "Who?" "When?"

The two looked at each and smiled. "Percy Jackson."
