Isabelle sat in the living room with Sebastian Verlac, her cousin. Honestly, she thought he was a little creepy.

Isabelle kept glancing at the stairs. She had a bad feeling in her gut. Then, Alec walked into the room and, looking up at him, she asked, "Do you think it's a good idea to have Jace up there with Aline?"

"I don't think it's good for him. He obviously loves Clary, and while that can't happen this isn't going to help him get over it. But we all know Jace does what he wants," Alec sighed and looked up the stairs.

Isabelle stood up after deciding it was a bad idea. "I'm going up there." She said, walking up the stairs.

"You know he won't stop unless he wants to," Alec called out.

"Well, he'll just hurt himself. He's my brother and I can't let him do that." Isabelle replied, continuing walking up the stairs. She walked down the hallway to Jace's room.

She opened the door to find Jace and Aline Penhallow, Sebastian's Cousin, half naked on the bed.

Isabelle didn't even flinch before pointing at Aline and saying, "You need to leave. Now."

Aline jumped up from the bed, much to Jace's distaste, and started getting dressed.

Jace got up from the bed and crossed his arms over his chest. "She doesn't need to go anywhere."

Isabelle placed her hand on her hip as she cocked her head to the side, raising an eyebrow, "Oh really?"

Jace's eyes narrowed, raising an eyebrow in challenge. "Really."

As she was pulling her shirt over her head, Aline spoke, "No it's fine. I really do need to leave." Aline grabbed her shoes and ran out the door.

Jace groaned, plopping down on the bed, "Are you being serious right now? Out of everybody, I thought you'd understand."

Isabelle walked over to the bed and sat down beside Jace. "Jace," she said softly. "I do understand. And that's why I made her leave."

Jace sat up and placed his arms on his knees, "Isabelle, it was just some fun. Not what you're trying to make it."

Isabelle rolled her eyes."Jace, all you were doing was hurting yourself. And Clary."

Jace sat up straight and growled, "Clary has nothing to do with this. Why would it?"

Isabelle looked Jace straight in the eye. "Clary has everything to do with this, and you know it."

Just opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted by a ruckus downstairs. Their eyes widened. Isabelle unraveled her whip and Jace grabbed his seraph blade from the nightstand, and they ran out the door, Jace throwing on a shirt in the process.

Once they were halfway down the stairs they saw what the commotion was - more like who - and lowered their weapons. Luke. Sebastian was armed, aiming at Luke.

As Luke spotted Jace, he asked, "Jace have you seen Clary?"

Jace furrowed his brows, "Clary? No, we left her in New York."

Luke growled, "Well, she followed you after, making her own portal."

Everybody looked at Luke shocked. Then Alec spoke, "That's impossible."

Jace shook his head, "Not for Clary."

All in the room but Luke looked at Jace for answers, and he just shook his head. Turning to Luke, Jace asked, "Do you know where she portalled to?"

Luke didn't answer for a moment and Jace began to worry. "Lake Lynn," he finally spoke.

Everybody in the room stopped breathing for a moment.

Magnus walked through Idris with a purpose. He would have loved to tell Alec that he was in Idris, but he knew he had bigger things to deal with. He had to find Clary.

Magnus knew Clary would not be at Lake Lynn, due to the wards around it. But the only person who knew where the Wards transported someone was Ragnor Fell, Magnus's old friend.

And he needed to hurry because if they didn't find Clary soon, something bad was bound to happen.
