Chapter 2: Port Royal
Alex stumbled down the steps, as the men of the royal navy pushed and maneuvered her though the sections of the jail. While it was hard to make out in the dim lighting, Alex could clearly see the outline of different jail cells. 'Welcome to my new life,' she sadly thought.
"This will be where you'll be spending the night. Hope you enjoy it," and with that she was shoved into a cell. The rusty door squeaked, as if protesting, before it was shut and locked.
Amanda and Colin stepped out of their hiding place.
"We need to get her out…Now!" Amanda shouted, frantically waving her hands about.
"Listen, I know you are worried, and don't get me wrong I'm flipping out, but we can't make any rash decisions or all three of us might end up in that jail cell"
Amanda sighed, breathing in a deep whiff of the musty stable. "Ok calm, calm," she muttered to herself, still working herself up into a frenzy, "I've watched this movie like twice… What happens in it! Geez Colin if I knew what happened in it we could save Alex." Amanda sat down on a bale of hay, her breath quivering.
It was then that Amanda noticed her attire. Unlike Alex, Amanda was dressed in an exquisite dress, one that would have cost a fair penny to make. The dress hugged her form, raising her breasts while her corset made her hourglass figure look delicious. Colin seemed to notice and looked down, a deep red blush staining his cheek.
"OMG!" squealed Amanda, "Look at me! I'm practically royalty!" While Amanda didn't obsess over the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, that didn't mean she dreamed of being Elizabeth Swann – of course with the modification that she would "most definitely ride into the sunset with Captain Jack Sparrow and leave miserable Will to tend to his blacksmithing".
Amanda smiled to herself. A plan was beginning to form, one that would guarantee Alex's escape but at the same time allow her to score with Sparrow. "Ok I think I have this mapped out," Amanda stated, turning to Colin.
Colin sighed, "Remember last time you came up with a plan? We almost got suspended. Please think carefully before we go gallivanting after pirates."
"Well excuse me." Amanda feigned surprise. "No but in all seriousness, if I can manage to "end-up" in front of Weatherby Swann's (*Note* he has SUCH a weird name spelled out like that.. like what) mansion maybe I can pursued them to take me in"
"HA!" laughed Colin, "Like they would totally believe that! 'O I'm a poor girl that randomly ended up on your porch please save me!' Nice try."
Amanda stomped her foot in frustration. "No… NO I don't care what you say it is worth a shot! If I remember correctly Alex isn't going to get hung…" Amanda trailed off shuttering at the thought of her best-friend being hung for living a pirate's life. No. Her friend was going to be safe and that was that, "she isn't going to be hung until Jack… Captain Jack enters the cell with her. Until then… fiesta!" Amanda did a half curtsey and turned towards the door.
"Where the fuck do you think you are running off to," Colin hissed, grabbing one of Amanda's sleeves, "And what I'm just going to be left her. I have a pirates brand." Colin shoved his wrist in her face.
"Darling you need to calm down. Here." Amanda bent down and ripped a strip of fabric off the bottom of her coverslip. "Tie this around your wrist. It will cover it enough. And goodness gracious remove that infernal hat, it looks atrocious on you." Colin felt up his face to his head. Gripping the hat he removed it. "Well maybe I kinda fancied it," he murmured, setting it down without a fight.
"Just listen." Amanda said, facing Colin, "I go and try to pretend to be a lost little girl…" As she said this Amanda placed the back of her hand on her forehead and swayed backwards "All lost and confused in such a dismal place with no family to be heard of," she muttered in a slow southern drawl. "No just kidding this isn't the south but my I would be a superb actor!" she squealed. "Back to plan. You need to wander. Keep a look out for Sparrow. You do know what he looks like right?"
"I may have not seen the movies but I don't live under a rock" Colin smiled in indignation.
"O how could I forget… you live under Alex!" Amanda said with a wink, and with that she ran skipping out the door in search of her new life.
Amanda:
Outside the sun beat down. Amanda smiled and twirled like an idiot, enjoying the fresh rays of warmth. A few people stopped, pointing at the girl. A few men whistled, earning disapproving looks and slaps from their wives. Amanda smiled sneakily. She loved the thrill of the chase and of men starring greedily at her figure. She was no whore, by any mean; she just loved the attention. I mean what's not to love! She knew she had a figure to die for, a figure that she was gonna use to get to Sparrow. That was the only part she truly liked about the movies: Sparrow.
Trying to gather her bearings, Amanda glanced around her. To her left the pier sat, the boats bobbing lazily in the hot summer sun. She was just about to turn the other direction, as the Swann household was atop the hill of Port Royal , when she heard the blaring of trumpets.
'Shit," Amanda cursed, 'I'm late! The ceremony has already begun.' Amanda had really been planning on being saved by captain jack sparrow. Maybe if she could make her way up to the ceremony she could "save" Elizabeth and fall instead of her… Yes! That was perfect. In an instant Amanda hiked up her dress and made way for the ceremony.
Colin:
Meanwhile, Colin wandered aimlessly on the beach. Had he heard of Captain Jack Sparrow before? Yes. Did he know what the infamous Captain that had teenage girls falling to his feet? Yes. But Colin had no clue of the plot line. "Just find him," mimicked Colin, angrily kicking a stone, "That won't be hard… WELL IT IS IF YOU DON'T FUCKING KNOW THE MOVIE." Colin aggressively stamped his hand against a stonewall. He hated not knowing what was going on, if anything he was quite a control freak. He also didn't want to look bad in front of Amanda.
True, he'd been dating Alex for a year (*Note* I need to change earlier I know but I can't find it right now), but he had always thought highly of Amanda. Initially it was just a crush, more of a lust for Amanda. But when he began dating Alex, which meant immediate best-friend status with Amanda. Everyday he was finding it harder and harder to stay true. The only thing holding him back was Amanda, knowing she would never betray her friend. "But I would," he laughed mournfully, "I don't deserve to be with either of them."
Unbeknownst to him, while he had been contemplating his love life the infamous Sparrow had targeted him.
"Lad!" bellowed Sparrow. Colin jumped! "Jesus Christ dude what the fuck don't sneak on people like that dude!"
Turning full around Colin came face to face with two pairs of dark but piercing eyes. The normal black eyeliner adorned Jack's face, as did his dread locked hair to his face. "Well I fucked this up," stated Colin.
Sparrow cocked his head; a quizzical expression rested on his face. "Sorry lad, I don't' quite understand yer language. Do you sir have command of the port there yonder. I'd be hoping to catch me a glimpse of those pretty boats.. er.. ships stationed there… savvy?"
Colin rubbed his temples. "Why did I never watch these movies," he moaned. "What in the hell is going on? Yes? No? Maybe? I DON'T KNOW. What is the right answer! What happens in the movie!"
Sparrow frown. It was not often he found someone as crazy as he and this lad here was downright makin' no sense. Though he was dressed as a sailor should be, he manors were very poor. Deciding to not waste more time, Sparrow swung his body side ways, approaching Murtogg and Mullroy.
