There's a sequel. Maybe I'll make a prequel? Who knows.

"Room 302, just down that hall there."

"Thank you ma'am."

Gregory knocked softly on the door marked 302, and the door opened to a young man with a stethoscope slung about his neck.

"I'm here to see Christophe." he told the doctor.

"Ah, yes of course. I was just about to go get some coffee." the doctor replied, his eyes displaying gratitude and exhaustion.

Gregory shut the door and walked over to the side of the hospital bed.

"How are you feeling?" he asked.

Christophe pulled a face, jutting his lip out. "I want to leave. But they won't let me…" he replied.

Gregory smiled at Christophe' behaviour. "They want you to be fully healed. You'll only hurt yourself more if you strain your body." Gregory explained.

Christophe sighed and folded his arms across his chest. Gregory pulled up a chair and sat down beside the bed.

"You know, I never could thank you." Gregory said, casting his eyes down. His hand twitched before resting on the rail.

Christophe looked over wearily and smiled. "You would have done the exact same for me."

Gregory nodded. He probably would have. But what bothered him had been the fact that he had frozen in place when the explosion happened. It was the first time that had ever happened to him, and it scared him beyond belief.

"I'm just glad you're better now," Gregory sighed, standing up. "I have to go now. Get out of here soon, okay?"

He extended his hand to Christophe. Christophe looked at it for a moment, then grabbed it with an amused smirk on his face.

"That's how you say goodbye to your hero?" he asked. He then pulled Gregory down and gave him a hug, wrapping his arms around the blond tightly.

Gregory smiled into Christophe's shoulder and hugged back just as fiercely.

"Thank you." Gregory said.

Review or message (I'm not picky) if you'de like some more of this. I will not guarantee when it'll happen. But it will (if you ask), just be patient. (Hopefully not as short...)
