Today's fave word: redemption

Notes: sorry for this chapter being so late, but I was having great difficulty writing it, and on top of that my school lives become rather hectic. But don't worry, I don't plan on giving it up anytime soon so if you don't like it stop reading now. Well, enjoy!

Warning: I do not own the anime or manga Beelzebub. Also, the order of events may be messed up and rearranged to accommodate the story.

Oga's POV

"Are there really student's in this school that are stronger than you?" Furuichi whined from the chair next to me. "We've only had this kid two days and he's already fried me at least twenty times"

I shot him a glare. "And you think he hasn't electrocuted me?"

He waved me off while looking away "You don't count; you're already a monster so I don't even bother feeling bad for you anymore"

I felt a strong pulse on my forehead and grabbed him by the collar of his grayed school shirt so that he was nearly nose-to-nose with me. "Hah? What was that?"

Beel's eyes widened at the display from his position on my head, before bursting out in delighted giggles. I grit my teeth in irritation, why couldn't this kid just leave me the fuck alone? I opened my mouth to snap at the kid, but was interrupted by the unfamiliar sound of silence.

"Huh?" I grunted, twisting my head to look behind me to see what it was that had caused the other delinquents to go quiet, only to have my view blocked my a barricade of bodies. "What's goin' on?"

I dropped Furuichi's shirt in favor of standing from my rustic desk to try and find out what had caused the others to act in such a strange manner. Of cause, I still couldn't see since there were a bunch of guys in the way. So, I did the most natural thing and politely asked them to move over... with my fist.

With them now on the floor unconscious, I was able to see the cause of the silence clearly. Now, this may be surprising to some, but I am actually not very observant so I find it hard to remember every face I meet. However, since them entering the room has invoked such a reaction from the others, I can safely assume that they are new students; or as others would call them, "easy pray".

The kid didn't seem all that intimidated by the threatening looks the other delinquents were shooting him, not that they are all that terrifying to begin with. Of course, I couldn't see much of their face due to the angle they were stood at and their beanie pulled down low on their face. I allowed myself to take in their appearance while they were stood still, not really impressed or disgusted at their choice of clothing. He was short, that I could tell even from this distance, just about tall enough to reach my color-bone. Their attire consisted of a large blue hoodie and jeans that swamped them, not that they appeared to bother them.

"What's going on, Oga?" Furuichi asked, trying to look over my shoulder.

"Looks like a new kid" I grunted back, not taking my eyes off of the new guy for an instant as he began to make his way to the front of the class room. He stopped once he reached the black board, and lifted his sleeve to wipe the surface clean, before plucking a piece of chalk from some other kids hand and began to write.

Chimamire, Jinn. Bloody, hell hound. Cool name, but does he have the personality to match it?

He chucked the chalk to some random guy leaning against the wall and started to walk towards the back of the class, only to be blocked by some cocky asshole who thought it was polite to demand where the kid was going.

"Where do you think your heading?" He shouted, only to grit his teeth when the newbie carried on as though he hadn't heard him. "Hey! Don't ignore me!"

I watched as the guy reached out and roughly grabbed a hold of the newbies arm.

"Five seconds" the reply was muttered so quietly I almost hadn't heard it.

"Huh?" Dude, if I can hear it from here, you defiantly can.

"I will give you five seconds to remove your hand, before I will remove it myself" the new kid, Jinn, explained. From Jinn's speech I could pick up a slight accent, though I couldn't tell where he was from.

"Now don't try acting smart kid, it ain't gonna lead you anywhere good" I heard the guy continue, causing me to raise a brow. What was he trying to do? The kid obviously ain't gonna budge, so why did he bother?

"Ichi" I nearly laughed at the guys face when Jinn carried on, his eyes narrowed and I could see a vein begin to emerge at his fore head. "Nii"

"OI! Are you listening to me?" The guy nearly screamed, though the kid still didn't seem bothered, his face giving of the obvious response of "No, not really". "There's no need for you to act tough neither. I just wanna ask you a couple'a questions, you got me?"

"San"

"Hey, Oga?" I heard Furuichi call from his place beside me "Who's that new kid? He doesn't really seem all that tough, so why's he back talking him? He got a death wish? If it were me I'd have already ran"

"That's cause your an idiot, not a fighter" I shot, flashing him a glare since he had made me miss part of the exchange.

"That's IT!" I heard, and turned just in time to see the guy pull back his arm to attack, leaving himself exposed.

"Go"

For a moment it seemed as though the guy had disappeared, one second he was in front of Jinn, the next he was gone and Jinn had already turned around to continue his journey to the back of the room. It wasn't until I saw the debris fall to the floor that I thought to look up, and there I saw the dude that had confronted Jinn, head through the ceiling, and legs dangling lifelessly in the air.

"Daa! Daa daa!" Beel squealed, flapping his tiny arms about wildly in Jinn's direction, stars shining in his eyes the whole while.

"Oi oi oi!" I grunted "What you doin? Stop smacking me in the face!"

"Oga!" Furuichi called, a grin on his face "Hurry an' take Beel over to that new kid, you might be able to dump him!"

It took me a minuet to register what he'd said, but once it had a dark smirk began to form upon my lips, and I was already standing in front of the new kid, arms stretched out to him with the baby in my hands.

"You like him, Baby Beel?" I asked, watching the demon child giggle in agreement. I looked up at the new kid, meeting his red eyes in a determined glare and demanded, "Oi! Take this kid and be it's parent".

So how was it? Okay? Bad, Good? Please let me know, cause I wasn't sure about this but I need to have certain chapters from Oga's point of view otherwise I won't be able to get the whole plot across to you (the readers). Any way, hope you enjoyed this chapter for all the pain that came from writing it. See you next time!
