Last class of the day with only ten minutes remaining. Fiona didn't know whether to be glad that she could dash out of the school and raid the mall to find Imogen a great gift or to be overwhelmed considering once those ten minutes were up, she'd be ten minutes closer to tomorrow, still lacking a gift for her quirky girlfriend. Fiona spent the rest of her time in class contemplating which stores to go to first; maybe Jared's and get her a nice ring? No, too over the top. Possibly Chanel to get some scarves to last Imogen the winter seasons? No, that's more of what Fiona was into. Dare she risk her own honor and dignity to step into a store like Hot Topic to please her girlfriend with more tutu's, vibrant socks, studded belts and things of that sort? Definitely not. Fiona sighed in anticipation to leave class, tapping her nails against her desk in a smooth rhythm.

Meanwhile, Imogen looked over at her girlfriend as the boring lecture continued on. During these times, the two would typically make faces at each other until one started laughing so loudly that the teacher would stop class to make notice. Sometimes Fiona would take it a step further and seduce Imogen to see how hot and uncomfortable she would get in the middle of class. Instead, she saw Fiona, her nails now rapidly hitting the desk with only a few seconds left until the bell rang and was utterly dumbfounded.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

The bell finally went off excusing all the students from their studying and test taking duties. Imogen calmly rose from her seat, gathering her things whereas Fiona bolted from her chair as if someone set the seat on fire, scooping up her purse and textbook into her hands. She almost successfully made a dash out through the door until Imogen caught up beside her, sliding her arm around the fashionista's waist. "Fi! So what's the plan for today? A walk in the park? A date at the Dot? Or maybe go back to your loft and have some take out?"

Fiona tried to hurry along, but Imogen's grip around her hips slowed her down some. Fiona sighed softly, sliding her hand over Imogen's arm and gently pushed her arm off from her body. "I-Im, you know I'd love to spend the rest of the day with you b-but I have something really important to take care of." Fiona stressed, maybe over dramatized the really.

Imogen sadly nodded and crossed her arms over her chest, letting out a defeated sigh. "Okay, but we're still spending afterschool tomorrow together, correct?" Imogen asked, furrowing a brow.

Fiona rapidly nodded her head, pulling Imogen to her and kissed her cheek. "Absolutely. Don't think for a second that we'll be apart tomorrow." With that said, Fiona blasted through the doors and disappeared into the afternoon.

"Boo!" Imogen jerked fearfully and turned around, only to see Eli Goldsworthy standing behind her with a grin on his face. "Where's the other half of the love nest?"

Imogen shrugged, making her way outside with Eli and took a seat on the front steps of the school. "I….I think she's going to break up with me."

Eli, his face in shock, slowly sat down beside Imogen. "No way, there's no way she'd break up with you, she's crazy about you Im."

Imogen shook her head, dropping her hands onto her lap. "That's was I thought! She's been acting weird all day though. Like she wants nothing to do with me. And I asked her what she wanted to do afterschool but she just fled like I was the plague. I….I think she's getting scared. You know she's never had good relationships. I think I may be her longest, most functional one. Now she's scared of the commitment and wants to make a run for it."

"Now you sound crazy." Eli noted.

"I sound crazy?" Imogen rebuttled.

Eli slid his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close for a hug. "Hey, I'm sure she has an explanation for how she's acting. I think you're worrying too much. Just prepare for your guys' big day tomorrow to keep you busy for today. Tomorrow you'll see that everything's okay. She wouldn't dare hurt you."

"Thanks Eli." Imogen swung her arms around her neck and gave him a tight squeeze, standing up from the steps. "You're right. I'm going to go wrap her gift, find a nice outfit for tomorrow and enjoy my anniversary."

With a handful more confidence than she had prior to her talk with Eli, Imogen skipped home hoping for the best.
