Chatter. Noise. Buzz. Uproars.

Ash had finally stepped on the designated place of the interview. The room wasn't extremely spacious, having the size only a little bigger than that of a regular house and add to the fact that the number of interviewers from different studios and various media personnel were all flocked there, there was hardly any space for him to even walk on.

"Finally! Ash Ketchum is here, everyone!" One man from the pack shouted, pointing towards the direction of the doorstep where Ash was currently standing on. With that, all eyes were transferred to him. Much as he already knew that this is going to be one heck of a bother, it's part of the package, unfortunately for him. "It's okay, Ash. This is for the fans' sake." As absurd as it sounds, he was now smiling after marking those words in his head. His joy almost always comes from little things and it's that smile which is why many women found him irresistibly cute. Add his naivety to the bag and you have yourself a cute boyfriend material. Proceeding towards the seat provided specifically for him, he advanced with extreme caution, afraid to bump someone without him intending it. However, his mere presence sliced a path for him like a hot knife through butter which defeats his very purpose. Not that he minded it but he felt a bit bad for burdening the others. Taking a peak, his predictions couldn't be more accurate. Several people, male and female regardless occupied the whole room. Despite having several chairs to accommodate the guests, they weren't even close to halfway the number of people present.

Shortly, he cuts the distance to his destination and realized Misty was there, waving a perky hand to him. In response, he did the same with a grin as a bonus.

"Hi, Ash! Took you long enough." Misty stated, crossing her arms and pretended to be annoyed which for Ash, found it real and mumbled sorry yet again. The only difference in comparison to his apologies back then was his tone was a bit more informal and casual, probably because Misty is his friend despite his knowledge of the lady's true feelings.

"Oh, Ash. You're such a mutt. Can you learn to not be dense at times like this?" Misty mocked but didn't come out quite as a mockery for Ash. Ash had long accepted the fact of his airheadedness and can even admit it with such a straight but this time, the circumstances are different. He's aware of the redhead's feelings even though he couldn't see any actions of Misty over friend's boundaries, or probably he's just innocent enough to not realize.

"Yeah, I'm an airhead and you're the genius. Yada, yada, yada." Retorting with those statements, Ash flashed his tongue playfully. Ash and Misty might have forgotten the presence of others beside them as they were disrupted by a roar of 'oooohs' and other unnecessary comments. Ash's sweat trickled down to his chin and twitched his eyelashes while Misty was buying and going with the flow, only worsening the noise of the coo's from everybody.

"Hey, everyone. I think we should start the interview." Ash notified with his tone serious although his real intentions were to put the ruckus back in control. The mass seemed to second the celebrity's request as the buzzes started to whittle down bit by bit and before they even realized, the interview's finally ready to go. Various cameramen were holding large cameras and some even had a 'host' beside them, microphones gripped by steadily.

When things finally toned down completely, Ash and Misty sat side-by-side and the lady even plastered a victorious smile. Ash, on the other hand had an expression evident with neutrality. He seemed to be playing the situation with formality with both hands resting on his lap, intertwined.

A few seconds ticked away and someone began to ask his question. He held his little notepad on one hand and a black pen held by the other. He rose from his seat, tapping his pen against his pad which and began to toss his question. "So Ash and Misty, what do you think about your newest film? How does it distinguish itself from your past movies in your personal point of view?"

Misty didn't seem to cringe one bit at the question. Her posture from her seat was as elegant and composed as ever. The most obvious reason's a no-brainer; she for such overly cliché questions such as these deserve answers of the same quality. However, she didn't move from her position and instead turn her sights on Ash who seemed to be putting together his thoughts. Judging her actions, she perhaps wanted Ash to start the roll but just as when she was getting aloof because of Ash's slow mind processing, she almost stood up only for Ash to stand up first.

"Well, if you'd ask me, I personally think it's different from before because I could say that the story of this isn't your typical teen love story between childhood friends or when the popular guy falls for the shy or quiet type of girl. I think this movie has a fresh plot but I wouldn't want to spoil things so I suggest that you just watch and see for yourself. "When his statements drew to a close, he returned to his post; it was now Misty's turn to answer. Flicking her vivid orange hair which flew down to just beneath her neck, she stood up with great poise. It was approximately two years ago when she decided to put away her ponytails because Ash suggested removing it due to it making her look tomboyish. Standing on her two feet, she grinned in a refined manner as she responded, "Just like Ash said, this story is kinda new for our taste buds. Actually, I really enjoyed playing the role of the female lead named "Chloe". I honestly think that a light-hearted romance comedy movie is great for all ages, especially teenagers like us. Again, just like what Ash explained a while ago, I wouldn't drop so many hints so everyone'll get excited and curious."

Almost immediately after Misty pointed her perspective out, another person, this time a lady revealed her presence. She readjusted her oval glasses and purposely coughed to clear her throat out. "If I may ask, is the personal status between you two evolving yet or not? The fans have long been waiting for your answers."

Shivers traveled down Ash's spine. During all of their previous interviews, he had long dodged the question and kept it hanging. He would always make up excuses that personal matters are of different regard and the like. However, he knew himself that the day would come that he mustn't avoid the question no more and this may probably be the day. Sighing, he didn't bother to stand anymore and instead mumbled an 'It can't be helped.' It was audible enough due to him not realizing the microphone inches away from it. With that statement, of course many assumed that the celebrities might reveal it now. They were partly right in a way as Ash announced something that had answered the long awaited question of everybody.

"Honestly, there's really nothing between us. We're friends and I think it should stay at that. Friends form a stronger fortification than one who goes for a relationship, am I correct?" He stated and stole a glance at Misty who was evidently displeased at what she was hearing at this very moment though he convinced himself not to be bothered and continued on. "So, that's my answer. That's what all of you were pestering me about since forever that I was already expecting it again. Still, we wouldn't know what could possibly happen, right? We are close and friends tend to fall for each other several times, as much as I know. " He chuckled lightly after ending his sentence which got all silenced, some probably jotting down what Ash said while some constantly shot stolen pictures from both of them.

On the side of Misty, she saw this statement as a glint of hope for her. The smile wiped on her face was genuine this time. "Yeah, Ash's right. We all know how fate likes to play with everyone, especially matters regarding love. Even in real life, the one we can watch in movies where a guy and a girl hate each other as far as hell would go and end up liking each other? It's very ironic but it's surprisingly true. Sorry for the word but I don't know if destiny is the stupid one here or us ourselves." She added, her smile wafting noticeably for the crowd. Even Ash's taking the hint, and he's someone who's normally dense. He gazed at Misty and was trying to comprehend what she meant by those words. He couldn't tell if that's her point of view as an actress or her perspective as herself.

Again, the mass bundles of humanity shut their yaps for the time being, writing down the details of what Misty had just told. Buzzing sounds were extremely soft making the united voice sound like a very weak sound wave. Instead of them speaking, their pens were the one doing the talking if you put in a figurative perspective. Only ruffling sounds were created by the rubbing of the pen against the piece of papers along with the occasional flashing of light from cameras which came from all directions of the crowd.

"So…are there more questions you would like to clarify?" Ash asked, fiddling with his fingers subconsciously. "Although I personally think the most awaited question was already answered, anyway."

Slowly, voices came out louder gradually and some voices would even stand above the rest. The interviewers must be discussing what else could satiate the duo's gigantic amount of fans which came in different packages. Some keep updated through the TV but knowing how swift technology is advancing, 75% of their fans' population stalked them and kept in touch with their latest trends via the internet, particularly facebook and twitter where you could find lots of supporters and followers, in and out of the country. Things were already beginning to calm when someone from the audience raised her hand. It was again a lady but was clearly young, only around twenties' when you would base it from her looks. She had this obvious curiosity on her face as she began throwing down her question.

"Uhhm…I've just found about this very, very recently and I'm not really sure about my question regarding if it's true or not or maybe just pure fan speculation, though." She confessed timidly to which Ash quickly replied with a smile. "But this is in an interview. All questions you would want to ask, even if that came from a different universe is still a question and therefore, we should answer it, regardless. Besides, it's not like you're the only who'd ask out of speculation, right so chip away with your question, will you?"

The lady shyly nodded and pulled out her own pen and notepad which was in the pockets of her blazer she picked off the lid of the pen and started muttering. "I've just heard from some people and I've read some fan's comments that you actually have a girlfriend in real life. I'm not sure how they got it so I wanted to ask."

"Eh? Girlfriend?"
