Daedric Encounter

Arthur groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, not being able to see properly until he blinked a couple of times. Unlike before he felt… comfortable, somehow. He was wrapped in a blanket while laying in a bed, though he couldn't recognize the room he was

in, and he definitely didn't fell asleep in this Position. He got up from the bed and pulled out his Mace, as he noticed at this Point that he luckily still had his clothes and things. Who would be foolish enough not to take the Things from their prisoner? Which got him to think who else was here…

Swords being unsheathed got his attention, as he turned around to face an armored Daedra coming out of the dark. It had an Armour which showed only strength and the blue light which resembled its eyes showed him no Mercy. It charged at him as its metallic steps echoed in the room before it swung its sword at him. Arthur ducked before he rammed his elbow against its chest to which it merely took a step back before throwing him back. He gritted his teeth as two other Daedra appeared behind the current one, all of them taking slow steps towards him while holding their swords in front of themselves.

Arthur shot up as he narrowed his eyes and without much thinking circled his Mace before slamming it against the one in front of him, as the blue eyes it had simply disappeared before the empty armor Shell fell to the ground. He threw himself at the left one to which it fell to the ground as the other one did only hit thin air with its sword before he knocked it out with a Punch from his Mace. The Last one couldn't get up anymore as he continuously stumped onto its helmet before the armor Shell just fell to the ground again.

Great, he must have landed in the next Daedric shrine which was of course being protected by them. And someone had to be toying with him…

He got into a fighting stance once again as suddenly multiple pairs of blue eyes appeared around him before the next Daedric soldiers came out of the shadows, surrounding him. One of them stepped forward and looked at him for a brief moment but did the same as the ones before as he charged at Arthur while the others closed the circle around him. He swung his sword at Arthur who had no Problem to block the Blow before hitting him at his Leg to which he stumbled a bit, only taking a second Hit into the chest until the Daedra fell to the ground. The other ones only watched as they slowly circled Arthur, his Mace suddenly glowing in an even brighter green light before all of the Daedra charged at him. He gritted his teeth as he suddenly felt an immense rush of Power surging through his Arm as he felt the need to destroy those around him. He smashed his Mace onto the ground as the Impact knocked the Daedra from their feet as they flew back, some of them not getting up anymore at the brute force. The three remaining ones were holding their swords in front of them in a protective way as Arthur charged at them, the Daedra almost shivering as he slaughtered every one of them. He looked around as everywhere were laying the armor shells of his enemies, he dominated all of them.

"Impressive.", he immediately looked up as he could hear slight clapping behind him to which he narrowed his eyes before turning around. A cloaked figure was walking gracefully out of the shadows, only the glowing blue eyes could be seen, but he could at least judge from the voice which gender it had as he turned around with an emotionless expression.

"Who are you…", Arthur muttered as the figure eyed him while slowly walking around him.

"Someone you would rather not fight… even with that Mace of yours… after all, you could already be dead by now, isn't it so? Although my Daedra weren't really a Challenge for you.", she spoke with a somehow mighty voice, he couldn't explain it yet feel that it would be the most foolish thing to try to attack this… Woman. She was controlling every single one of them. He considered himself very good in conjuration, he had respect for her skills…

"And you wouldn't keep me alive for nothing. What do you truly want? You could have just taken my Mace for yourself.", Arthur muttered with caution, he was unsure how to react to this Person. It was a Feeling he never had before. And why is his Mace glowing in such a way? He had never seen that before either…

He took a step back as the cloaked Person laughed lightly at that as she stopped in front of him, her eyes glowing for a brief moment with interest.

"I don't have the need for that… this Mace suits you. It melts together with you as you are tearing through your enemies… I know this Artifact you have quite well. Tell me, are you serving Molag Bal, the Daedric Lord of domination?", she was gazing deeply into his eyes, it made him shudder as it felt like her glowing blue eyes were watching right through and into him. She would know if he was lying or not...

"I will for my whole life, whoever you are!", his voice didn't had any emotion as he stared at the figure with his Mace tight in his hand as the Woman laid her head a bit back, the air around them suddenly becoming… less fierce.

"Is that so? You must be quite loyal to your Mistress… to have her very own Mace as yours… but you desire something else, too?", her tone became… different at the last part, yet Arthur had no Intention to try to attack her and just get out of here. Something was preventing him from doing so, and the fact that he couldn't understand why was making him uneasy.

"Who are you? What do you know?", he has never seen this Person before… what place is this? She slowly came closer as his Mace was starting to glow even more.

"Vampirism… Molag Bals gift for her Chosen Mortals, binding them into her service… I can grant you this gift, you would only have to tell me…", she slowly came closer, yet Arthur couldn't move as he felt his Mace pulling towards her, paralyzing him.

"H-how, I would do everything for it…"

"Is that a yes?", she stopped inches in front of him as Arthur could make out slight Features of her face as he slowly nodded. She smirked before she suddenly pulled him tight into her grasp as he felt her teeth sinking into his flesh until he fell unconscious, blackness overcoming him.

"You should consider yourself lucky that I'm being gentle with you…"

And that's it, hope you enjoyed.

Have a nice day
