Edit- I've just added a little part about Yamamoto and his dad discussing his relationship with Tsuna. :D
Title: Generation X
Summary: In school, Tsuna is no good. At home, he's known as "The Conqueror," the 'God of Gaming'. When the new virtual reality game, Generation X, comes out, Tsuna will have to make a famiglia that will rise through the ranks and become the most powerful and influential famiglia in the game. But enemies, classmates, and assassination squads will make that just a little bit harder.
Last time on Generation X
Once Tsuna finished eating, his hyper intuition was going crazy. 'Something…' Tsuna thought, 'Something is wrong. Definitely wrong.' He didn't know what, but he could tell it had something to do with Generation X. His face showed worry and panic.
Once Tsuna said his thanks to his mom, he ran franticly up the stairs into his room. Was he found out? He opened the door. And there, right in front of him, was Gokudera Hayato…
…holding his Generation X video game.
Ok, it was no big deal, right? It's not like the world would end. It was something even worse: Someone had found out. Okay, it might have been a hyperbole, but for Tsuna, he almost fainted. Almost. And how he so wished he had fainted instead of looking at the silverete in front of him dead in the eye.
The glare sent directly towards him, for who else could it be directed at? Certainly, Tsuna was sure, there was no one behind him. Tsuna gulped, petrified. No one was supposed to know. His cover was blown. He anticipated what the person before him would say.
"You thief!"
"Robber!"
"How the hell did you get this?"
"I thought you were no good!"
"Who…" Gokudera whispered. Tsuna, who had perfect hearing, had to strain his ears to even hear that. "…are you?"
Well. That wasn't expected.
It was no use hiding it anymore. The delinquent in front of him has already seen too much.
"I'm Sawada Tsunayoshi…?" Came Tsuna's pathetic excuse for an answer.
"Sawada Tsunayoshi…" Gokudera repeated. Tsuna nodded.
"Sawada Tsunayoshi. Can only go up to the third level of a vaulting horse. Averages a seventeen percent in all kinds of tests and lowers his class's average." Tsuna looked horrified. He knew what Gokudera was going at. "Nickname, No-Good Tsuna."
Gokudera's eyes roamed Tsuna's room, most likely a second time. I mean, guests would always do that. The irony of having such an awesome room. It attracts to much attention.
"Can you explain all of this…?" Gokudera asked, almost in a way a mother would scold a child for getting dirty while playing something.
Turning his attention back on the scowling Gokudera, Tsuna saw him pointing at his own little game corner. Oh. Forgot about that teensy weensy little detail…
"Generous donations from charity?" Tsuna said. Sounded more like asking then answering. Way to go, Tsuna!
Gokudera rolled his eyes at the 'plausible' story the brunet made. The kid was lying. (Thank you captain obvious!)
And, with impeccable timing, a lady with a maid costume came in. "Tsunayoshi-sama…" She started. Again, impeccable timing! "Lada Nana asked me to bring you a drink." Then her eyes met Gokudera's. "Should I bring another drink for your guest, Tsunayoshi-sama?" She asked innocently.
Couldn't she read the moment? "N-no…thank you, for your offer, though."
"H-hai." The maid said before leaving.
Oh, Tsuna was screwed.
How could he explain the maid?
Another generous donation?
"You're not…" Gokudera said accusingly.
"You're not no good at all!" Tsuna thought he would say.
"You're not Sawada Tsunayoshi!"
Wait. Pause. Rewind. Play.
"You're not Sawada Tsunayoshi!"
Then somewhere, in the deep depths of his mind, that sentence continued playing in a weird echo-y way.
"You're not Sawada Tsunayoshi!"
"You're not Sawada Tsunayoshi!"
"You're not Sawada Tsunayoshi!"
Way to go. Tsuna's pride took a big blow. It gave him an ouchie. In the inside.
"You're an imposter! You kidnapped him!" Gokudera accused.
Yep. A big ouchie.
"Where did you take him? Huh?"
Tsuna couldn't take it anymore. He was pissed. Scratch that, he was beyond pissed.
"What the hell? Don't judge me! I'm rich as you can see. Oh, wait, are you blind too? Everyone keeps judging me, and cause of that, I have absolutely no friends at all! And, what, are you going to tell everyone now? Well, they won't believe you!"
Gokudera's eyes widened.
Tsuna expected him to start yelling back. But lately, he's always been wrong.
Gokudera transformed into a puppy. The tails, the ears, and..oh god…the eyes.
What happened to the delinquent a few seconds ago?
"That was amazing! You've been able to keep this record since middle school! I bow down to you, boss! We will win Generation X! Let's make our own famiglia!" Gokudera excitedly said.
"E..EHH?" Tsuna yelped. Was this guy crazy?
"X is Ten! I'll call you Tenth!" Gokudera said.
"N-no! Atleast call me Tsuna!" Tenth sounded ridiculous.
"Hai, Tsuna-sama!" Tsuna inwardly screamed. That sounded even weirder than Tsunayoshi-sama!
"NOOO!"
"Then Tenth?" Gokudera said, starting it all over in phase one.
"No! T-S-U-N-A."
"No." Gokudera said with a determined expression
"Tenth is Tenth." And Tsuna sighed. "Ok…"
~School~
Everyone stared.
And stared.
And stared.
Now, you readers may ask why.
And that's because Gokudera Hayato, delinquent, was currently following the infamous No-Good Tsuna around like a lost puppy.
"Tenth! You're so cool!" Gokudera said with stars in his eyes.
"Shhh, Gokudera-kun!" Tsuna said hastily.
"O-oi! Why is Gokudera Hayato hanging out with No-good Tsuna?" Someone asked.
Upon hearing this, Gokudera stood in front of Tsuna protectively. "No one insults the Tenth while I'm around!" He said, switching into delinquent mode.
Tsuna was starting to worry if his cover would be blown.
Gokudera kept rambling about him being awesome, which, of course, isn't so far from the truth. (But he didn't mean to brag. As always.)
People were beginning to suspect and ask things.
"Why is Gokudera calling No-Good Tsuna 'Tenth?'"
"Why is he protecting No-good Tsuna?"
"Gokudera-kun!~ Treat me to some spaghetti and ditch the No-Good loser!~"
Tsuna sighed and snook off somewhere.
He heard it.
He heard it again.
And again.
And again.
"Generation X is so cool!"
"Yeah, and it's coming out tomorrow!"
"Kyaa!~ I can't wait!"
Again, one brunet was left out of it all.
"Oi, No-Good Tsuna!" Someone said in front of him.
Tsuna whipped his head up, honey brown eyes meeting with grey eyes.
"Yes, Mochida-senpai?" Tsuna deadpanned.
"Wanna join my famiglia?" He asked, with a smirk.
"N-" Tsuna was about to say, but got interrupted by Mochida. That cocky bastard.
"Well, you can't!" He said, like he had actually won something.
"You couldn't even be an errand boy!"
'I never wanted to even be part of your famiglia!' Tsuna wanted to say, but that would ruin his no-good reputation.
Sadly, Gokudera wasn't around because he needed to restock on his dynamite (Whatever that meant.), so Tsuna was all alone. He pretended to give a horrified expression to Mochida. Cause Mochida's happiness went first, no?
"P-please don't hurt m-me!" Tsuna said, cowering in fear. Professional acting lessons really do help in times like these. (Which was basically all the time.)
"Pathetic." Mochida said as he returned to the group of laughing guys.
All his life, Tsuna has had to hold back.
Seriously, a lot.
If he wanted, he could have beaten Mochida and his group up. Like a boss.
"Oh, and No-Good Tsuna!" Mochida called out.
"I'll crush you in Generation X!"
Psh. Yeah right. Now, Tsuna will just continue on with his life thank you very much.
Yamamoto saw the exchange. He didn't know why, but he didn't want to interrupt.
It was rude? Yes, but that wasn't the only reason. The brunet interested him. And no, not in that way, but he was curious.
Tsuna, No-Good Tsuna, could tolerate being called no good for two years.
So, Yamamoto naturally thought he, himself, was pathetic. Tsuna was strong. Unlike him.
Yamamoto was a baseball fanatic.
The star baseball player in his school.
The one who was always smiling.
Expectations are hard to live up to, though.
Lately, Yamamoto's average was beginning to drop. The next baseball game will be in two days. That game might be the first game where Yamamoto didn't start. He couldn't do that, right? He couldn't let down his fans. He learned that after that incident. Yamamoto swore he would always smile. And hopefully, then, his fans will smile along with him.
But lately, those smiles, laughs, everything…were becoming strained. Some might call it fake. But he still smiles. Smile through the pain, laugh likes it's a game. That's what Yamamoto has always thought.
He'll continue to live like that. After all, Yamamoto wanted to be the one to lighten the mood, to pick someone up when their down. But he couldn't do that if he was down too, right?
When he saw Mochida-sempai leave, he went into the classroom. He expected to see a crying, whimpering brunet, but the boy was calmly packing all of his things.
"Hey, Tsuna!" He said cheerfully.
Tsuna looked at him, obvious surprise written on his face.
"Y-yes, Yamamoto-san?" The boy asked.
"Well, I wanted to ask you something…" Yamamoto said uncertainly. Oh, god, it sounded like he was about to make a love confession.
Tsuna raised his eyebrow slightly. "Yes…?"
"Well, lately I've felt like I'm not doing good enough. My average is dropping, and I-I…I just don't know what to do!" He said. "Everyone is counting on me, and I don't want to let them down!"
Tsuna's eyes narrowed. He saw the other baseball players. Once, he heard a conversation in the locker room.
"Man, Yamamoto's been getting worse lately!" One guy complained.
"I know right! If he doesn't win this for us I just won't hang out with him!" The other said.
"Yeah, me either!"
Tsuna hated those kind of people. They use Yamamoto.
"Stop playing baseball." Tsuna said, his voice monotone.
Yamamoto looked up with obvious confusion. "Why?"
"Yamamoto, if you hadn't noticed, your so called 'teammates' are using you." Tsuna rolled his eyes.
"And don't tell me that you'll just give up. It's supposed to rain today, and you'll get sick before you can even go to the game. You might even break your arm if you work too hard!" Tsuna reasoned.
'He's not like the others...They say to just keep trying...but Tsuna...he actually thinks about my health...'
Yamamoto thought about it. Then, he grinned. A sincere one. "Thanks, Tsuna!" He said before leaving.
Tsuna just sighed, then smiled. "Bye, Yamamoto-san."
Yamamoto stopped. "Call me Takeshi."
Tsuna puffed his cheeks. "At least let me call you Yamamoto."
Yamamoto grinned. "Sure, Tsuna!"
When Yamamoto left, Tsuna thought what he said.
Tsuna puffed his cheeks. "At least let me call you Yamamoto."
Wow. He sounded like Gokudera-kun just now.
Yamamoto left, leaving Tsuna alone. He walked to Take Sushi, his dad's sushi restuarant.
"Ohayo, Pops!" Takeshi said. "Sorry I'm late."
Tsuyoshi, Takeshi's dad, [1] grinned. "Hi, Takeshi. How was your baseball practice?"
Takeshi grinned, just like his dad. "I didn't go. My friend, Tsuna, told me not to strain myself or else I might break my arm."
Tsuyoshi raised an eyebrow. "Hmm, he doesn't sound like your other friends that you bring here to hang out."
Then, Tsuyoshi realized something. "You mean No-good Tsuna? The one your friends always laugh at?"
Takeshi's grin faltered. "Well...he isn't like that..."
Then, Yamamoto sighed, disappointment evident, and left muttering a 'good night' to his son before going to bed.
Takeshi just sighed.
'He's not like the others...and he seems like he could need a friend...'
Just then, Tsuna realized...He had just helped a friend. Wait, no…he couldn't be called a friend just yet, could he? Well, at least someone who wasn't Gokudera was nice to him.
Tsuna smiled at the thought.
'A friend, huh…?'
[1] When Yamamoto is with his dad, I'll be making him Takeshi while his dad is Tsuyoshi. Since they both have the same last names. ^.^

Well, one reviewer, Writing Contradictions, made a paragraph that followed her results~
You received a present from Hibari Kyoya because he loves you.
Kyoya walks up to a girl and drops a present in her lap. A mild blush of pink decorated his cheeks as he walked away. The girl looks at the present wrapped delicately with blue paper before sighing, "Sorry, Hibari-san. I like Takeshi"
It was cute! ^.^
So, my challenge for you all is to create something like that! :D
For example my result: You gave cake to Rokudo Mukuro because you're a pervert. (Dx)
The girl exited the cake shop, bag in hand. In the sky blue bag held a chocolate cake, for her one and only Rokudo Mukuro. She went to Kokuyo Land, narrowly avoiding Ken and Chikusa. As she finally reached Mukuro's room, the door swung open for her, almost welcomingly. She hesitantly strode into the room, brown eyes looking at bi-colored eyes. "H-here…" She said, shyly as she handed the bag to Mukuro. He smiled, and thanked her. She watched as Mukuro ate the cake. The way Mukuro's lips enveloped the cake, moaning at the fluffy dessert. The way he sucked on the fork. His half-lidded eyes. She felt her face blush in embarrassment for thinking such thoughts. Mukuro smirked. "Would you like some too?"
