Pictures of you. The contents of white envelopes on my table, surrounding my room. You are always with me, if not in a minor way. Sometimes Kio brings up the topic of us two upon discovering a recent set of them. Other days, he doesn't. It hardly matters.
Only you. In my thoughts, filling my dreams with content and desire. That taste of innocence stale in my mouth, long after our meetings. The scent of you marks me. The words and whispers.
Seimei could never do this to me, not like you do.
Sometimes I'll wake up just to stare at our pictures. You and I, my beautiful Ritsuka. Even in the dark, your stare can make my heart stagger. Did you know that? How much I love you?
You're not as afraid of forgetting as you used to be, but we still like to take pictures. The good shots of us betray the affection in my eyes, the unsaid words. I love you. I love you, Ritsuka… did you know that?
Even if we eventually stop taking pictures, I'll never forget you, or the pictures of you, the eternal moments that we found happiness in one another. They will survive in the pages behind scrapbooks and frames, and some rainy day I know they'll make you smile.
I live for you, Ritsuka. Did you know that?
