CYCLONE!

JOKER!

Both: Henshin!

CYCLONE–JOKER!

Disclaimer: Same thing.

We last left off with our heroes dueling Jaden and Kurogasa dueling Aster and Kaito who used Decks that they made on the whim. Everyone was a bit suspicious of this, but they decided to shrug it off... for now. Right now, in Duel Academy everyone was currently at the main duel arena because they were going to have the first two official duels of the year. One a single duel and the other a tag team duel. And right now, four individuals were running there.

"C'mon guys! We're gonna be late seeing the first two official duels of the year!" Jaden exclaimed as he, Syrus, Kurogasa, and Alexis were running too.

"Geez, if only you were like this when it comes to classes." Syrus groaned.

"Yeah, how come you don't run when it comes to class or if you're gonna be late for class?" Kurogasa wondered.

"And miss all the hot dueling action? No way!" Jaden laughed.

"That's Jaden," Alexis smiled. "Nice to know he hasn't changed over the summer."

"Now if only he could notice Rika making eyes at him," Kurogasa laughed.

"Be nice," Alexis elbowed Kurogasa's side. "Rika's told me she has a whole bunch of plans to try and make Jaden notice her aside from her cooking. Be a good friend and show some support."

"I do show support," Kurogasa flinched. "I just know Jaden too. The only way she's going to get him to notice her like a girl instead of a cook is if she puts herself up as a buffet."

Alexis sweat dropped, thinking about Rika's 'Plan X' that she had prepared for when all else failed.

The group of friends managed to find some seats, all of them seated near their friends as they had prepared for the event… those that had heard about it ahead of time and were prepared in any case. Alexis and Kurogasa took some seats, finding themselves sitting next to Bastion, Marta, Mamori, and Victor. Jaden and Syrus took the seats below them which were incidentally just close enough for them to talk to Chazz. As expected, the former Obelisk turned Slifer pretended he didn't know the pair and concentrated on the arena.

"So who's dueling first anyway?" asked Kurogasa.

"Apparently, we are having two sets of twins dueling against each other." Bastion answered.

"Two sets of twins?" Alexis asked raising an eyebrow.

"That's a first." Victor agreed.

"Yes. And it's boys vs. girls twins. The girls are Mitsuyo and Tsukiyo Hoshiki. They are both Obelisk Blues."

"Figures." Victor said.

"What are they like?" Marta asked.

"They are rather… peculiar." Bastion said.

"How so?" Kurogasa asked.

"You'll see. But underneath that peculiarness, are strong duelists. They run the Agents and Ice Barrier Decks."

"I–Ice Barrier?" Mamori stuttered.

"Isn't that one of the prototype Decks, Pegasus is working on?" Alexis asked.

"Yes, the Decks have been in real world conditions. So far, it has been a smashing success."

"Cool! Makes me want to take them on myself!" Jaden grinned. "What about the other two?"

"Ginsuke and Shunsuke Akiyama," Bastion replied. "They're both in Ra yellow. Nice fellows. They both run the same type of deck, something called Servants."

"Servants?" asked Victor in confusion. "What are they supposed to be?"

"According to the rumors, they're supposed to be mythological figures classified into archetypes or something," Marta commented. "I'm actually very curious as to see how they run that deck. I've never seen Servants in action before."

"Huh, a mystery Deck eh?" Kurogasa grinned. "Now that makes things interesting."

"I'm actually more surprised they aren't in Obelisk Blue themselves," Bastion commented. "I was looking at the test scores of the first years and–"

"Whoa, wait a sec," Marta blinked. "You went and looked at the test scores of the new students? Why?"

"I believe the term is, 'checking out the new competition'." Bastion smiled. "As I was saying, I was surprised to see Ginsuke and Shunsuke in Ra Yellow considering their test scores and their connections."

"C–C–Connections?" asked Mamori.

"Why yes." Bastion nodded. "If those two are related to who I think they are, they should have been on the fast track straight up to Obelisk Blue."

"Really?" asked Alexis. "Who do you think they're related to then?"

"If I'm right, then those two are the sons of Miyako Akiyama, one of the leading authorities in Duel Disk development and Ryouske Akiyama, a master artist of Duel Monster art who's only chief competitor is Pegasus himself if you believe the hype."

"Those two?!" Kurogasa gasped in surprise.

"You're jesting!" Marta said in the same expression.

"Jesting, I am not." Bastion stated. "Still, it baffles me on why they are in Ra Yellow and not in Obelisk Blue."

"Maybe… maybe they wanted to get by on their own merits?" suggested Alexis. She had experienced the same sentiment, wanting to get out of her brother's shadow after she heard so many people saying he was such an incredible duelist. If she hadn't been so determined to find him before falling in love with Kurogasa, she may have had a better understanding of the feeling.

"Admirable I suppose." Marta nodded, Mamori agreeing with her. "I hope they are able to prove it in the arena as they have on paper."

"Shh! It's starting!" Syrus shushed the group.

"Ladies and gentleman!" Bonaparte announced walking up to the platform, holding up a mic. "Welcome to Duel Academy! For those who don't know me, I'm Vice Chancellor Bonaparte, and I'm happy to announce that this first official day of Duel Academy has started!" The crowd cheered at that. "And what better way to celebrate than having the first single and tag team duels of the year!" The crowds let out yet another cheer. Bonaparte grinned at the cheer, already preparing to ham it up and praise the efforts of the Ra and Obelisk students who were about to duel, "We have a special treat today! Our tag duel is going to be between a set of twins! Boys vs. Girls!" More cheering erupted from the students.

"Oh get on with it already…" Crowler muttered from his seat.

"On my right side, from the glorious Obelisk Blue dormitories are the sisters who have mastered the heavens and the biting cold! Mitsuyo and Tsukiyo!" A spotlight lit up the pair, bringing more cheers. Mitsuyo began waving energetically to the crowds, obviously excited to be on the stage. Tsukiyo was merely treating it like she was in the waiting room.

"And on my left, the boys who have dug through the history of the world and brought the heroes of the ages to us today; Shunsuke and Ginsuke Akiyama!" Another spotlight lit up the male twins with Shunsuke grinning like a loon and waving to all while his brother almost shyly did the same.

"Wow. You're right about the sisters. They look rather peculiar." Kurogasa noticed.

"Like night and day." Alexis agreed.

"Oh, this is gonna be SOOO exciting! Don't you think so Tsukiyo? Do ya? Do ya?" Mitsuyo asked her sister excitedly.

"Sis, you need to calm down." Tsukiyo sighed. "I knew I shouldn't have let you eat Pop Tarts this morning while we were on the ferry."

"Hey bro, we're already in the big times!" Shunsuke grinned to his brother over on his side of the arena.

"Yes, and I'm trying not to get stage fright so don't try to encourage me with more famous words," Ginsuke replied, keeping a fake smile on his face.

"Will the four duelists please step to the middle to shuffle each other's Decks?" Bonaparte asked. The four did just that and shuffled the Decks. As they did that, Bonaparte said, "The rules of this duel are quite simple. Each team will have 4000 points and the Field is shared. Also there is no sharing of strategy, no sharing of advice, and no sharing of cards that aren't already in play. You CAN, however, use cards on your partner's Field. Understand?"

"Yes!" the four students nodded, but in Mitsuyo's case it was "Yeppers!"

"Alright then." Bonaparte said as the four duelists gave each other Decks back and went to their respective sides of the Field. "With that being said, let the Duel begin!" Bonaparte said, then jumped off the platform. All duelists activated their Duel Disks and drew their starting Hands.

"DUEL!"

(Cue in Now or Never by NaNo)

(Instrumental) The drums sounded and the lights flashed to the beat of the song on Kurogasa, Alexis, & his family together in one scene, Rika & Jaden side–by–side, Koji and Marta together as she hugs Mamori from behind, Victor and Kurai looking at each other as Victor handed out his Deck, and finally the rest of the GX cast, before going to the main title, with all of the Heisei insignias rotate around the red core. When the title disappears, the camera zooms in at Kamen Rider City, then on a road with each Kamen Rider on both sides of the road. Kuuga, Ryuki, Blade, Kabuto, Kiva, W, and Fourze are on the left side and Agito, Faiz, Hibiki, Den–O, Decade, OOO, and Wizard on the right side, doing their iconic poses along the way before it reached the light at the end of the road, to trigger the next scene.

(LOST~, tesagari de sagashiteta [sagashiteta]) Sitting at the edge of a cliff as the sun sets Jaden looks at his blank cards while Rika looks sadly at him from afar.
(Tozasareta mirai no, kotae nante doko ni mo, nai hashiru shou~dou ima kaidoku funou~) Kyoshiro stood high at the top of the school building, looking at the view of the island down below with his wife Yukina at his side as they had their attention on their son, standing at the coastline of the beach.
(FOUND~, kudaketa hazu no unmei o~) Kurogasa looks at the sea before also looking at his blank cards while Alexis looks sadly from afar.
(Mijuku na yume no naka de, kikoetekita nda, saigo made "I'll be there for you.") After looking at the blank cards, Kurogasa lowered his head down, with the bangs of his hair covering his eyes. Alexis approached Kurogasa and hugged him tightly from behind before she whispered in his ears, while tears streamed down her eyes that were covered by the bangs of her hair: "I'll be there for you."

(Tachidomaranai~ kono hari dake wa~, boku no asu o kizamu oto tsukisasu!) In the next scene, inside the Obelisk Mansion, the possessed Sartorius laughed as the screen zooms out, as most students were now a part of the Society of Light until the camera turns towards Kurogasa, Jaden, and Koji facing them as Yukina stood by Kurogasa's side.
(Shinjitsu kara nigetara ima) Hassleberry, Syrus, Alexis, Bastion, Chazz, Victor, Kurai, and Aster look up to face the screen with determination on their faces on the right side.
(Genjitsu ni mo maketara ima) Rika, Marta, Mamori, Atticus, Crowler, Bonaparte, Sheppard do the same thing on the left side.
(Nani ga nokoru no~? [nokoru no~?]) Zane appears on the other side with his Cyber Dark Dragon behind him while donning his new suit with an evil glare and smirk, before the scene changes to Kamen Rider Sorcerer in his armor, looking at the screen.

(Kazoekirenai kono kizu dake ga, boku no kinou o zanzou to shite kataru) Meanwhile, Sartorius and Kamen Rider Sorcerer, with the Light of Destruction looming over behind them with the assistance of the Arcana Monsters, faces Jaden, Koji, and Kurogasa as Jaden has the Neo Spacians, Koji has the Lost Boogie Knights', and Kurogasa has the Secondary Riders behind them ready to face Sartorius.
(Unmei ga hodokete mo i~ma) While the war is going on, silhouettes of new characters stood next to a figure wearing a mask from the figure's left.
(Sonzai o kowashite mo i~ma) Another group of silhouetted characters stood next to the masked figure's right.
(Boku no michi o yuku yo~ It's now or never!) The masked figure took off the mask, the screen showing the bottom half of the face and looks at the battle with a smile, thinking about Kurogasa. The figure and the silhouetted characters head towards the battle area, the figure saying "It's now or never!" before the screen flashed white to another scene.

(This is what they say "Live your life today" [Yeah, yeah!]. There will always be, there will always be a way. [Yeah!]) Kurogasa is on a cliff gazing at the sunset, as his thoughts of the Primary Riders appeared in the sky as ghost images.
(This is what they say "Live your life today" [Yeah, yeah!]. There will always be, there will always be a way. [Yeah!]) He bows his heads then closes his eyes, remembering the smiling face of Tarakudo, telling him to live a good life. Kurogasa opened his eyes with a small smile and looked to his left and sees Alexis next to him, smiling and he smiles back.

(This is what they say "Live your life today." [Yeah, yeah!]) Kurogasa and Alexis then look back at the sunset holding hands as the wind blew gently and the camera slowly pans out.

Chapter 2: Ice Barrier, Angels, and Servants, Oh My!

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 4000

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 4000

"Whew! Made it just in time!" Kyoshiro's voice said in relief as he came into the stadium with his wife Yukina.

"Kaa–san, Dad!" Kurogasa waved. "I thought you were going to sit ringside with the other teachers?"

"And miss sharing some time with our son outside of class?" asked Yukina. "I don't think so!"

"Who's going first?" asked Kyoshiro.

"Ginsuke or Shunsuke, I can't tell them apart from here," Syrus reported.

"I'll start this off!" Shunsuke announced, drawing his first card. Placing it in his hand, he took out another before he placed it on his disk. "I'll summon Servant Saber: Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus!"

Light shone on the field before a woman rose up onto the field. She was truly splendid, wearing a red gown made from obviously high–class materials. She had blonde hair tied into a bun and bright green eyes, but her beautiful elfin features were marked with a look of self-indulgence and pride. What was more shocking was that the front of her dress was transparent, revealing her legs which were protected up to her knees by armor, but she was also revealing her… undergarments… (4/ATK: 1900/DEF: 1000)

"Oh wow…" Syrus blushed heavily.

Many boys follow Syrus' example blushing furiously at Nero's choice of dress. The blonde woman didn't seem to mind, apparently basking in the attention and the spotlights trained on the arena stage. Obviously the woman was no stranger to being a spectacle.

"Oh man, can someone censor that?" Kurogasa blushed, looking away.

"Ah, the lovely empress of Rome brings applause and adoration from the masses even here in Japan!" Shunsuke laughed as Nero continued to bask in the adoration. "No one can possibly deny her. Still, we have to continue the duel." He reached for his hand and slapped another card down. "I'll put a card facedown to end my turn."

"Hold on, Nero the Tyrant was a male." Bastion pointed out.

"I suppose you are all confused as to Nero–chan's gender," Ginsuke smirked, possibly having heard Bastion's protest. "Well, let me shed some light on that. Why would Nero be at first forbidden from the throne? Because her father was weak? Why would he be considered weak? Rome was a political empire as much as a powerful one. If a man had political strength, why would he be considered weak? I'll tell you why! It's because he sired a daughter instead of a son!"

"Nero struggled and brought herself adoration by the masses on her rise to being the Emperor," Shunsuke continued. "She did everything for the people who loved her so and brought new art and entertainment to the people, pitting and honing her skills to equal those of the gods just so she could show her love for them as well as reveal how she had the strength to lead them into legend! Truly, Empress Nero does stand above nearly all kings!"

The red–clad woman seemed to giggle and gave heated eyes to the red-marked brother, making him blush and look away.

"Well…" Bastion muttered. "That sounds plausible…"

"What an interesting view on history." Marta commented.

"It's not the only 'interesting' view," Alexis frowned, eyeing Kurogasa like a hawk to make sure he wasn't looking through Nero's dress.

"What are ya glaring at me for? I'm trying not to look!" Kurogasa said sincerely.

"Just checking." Alexis replied, still keeping an eye on her man.

"Good idea." Yukina agreed, doing the same for Kyoshiro.

"What?!" Kyoshiro gulped. "I know better than to gape like a hormonal teen! I'm happily married!"

"Just making sure." Yukina said.

"Besides, after what happened with Mana last year when, you know…" Kurogasa said, wincing at the memory.

"You mean where Mana tried to seduce you saying it was supposed to be training for you to get to me?" asked Alexis.

Marta raised her eyebrow. "Kurogasa, you must have some of the most rambunctious spirits of all time."

"Yeah… And to mention Alexis that… you broke up with me, after you found out and then…

"Okay, I get it already…" Alexis sighed.

"Sorry… I just really don't like to be reminded…"

"Hey," Jaden spoke up. "I just noticed, but I think that Shunsuke… or was it Ginsuke… was blushing when Nero looked at him. Think she's his card crush?"

Syrus could only sweat drop at Jaden's statement, "Could you try to read the mood a little bro?"

"Huh?"

"Never mind." Alexis sighed, before leaning on Kurogasa. "Kurogasa, that's all in the past. What's done is done. I already forgave you remember?"

"I do." Kurogasa grinned, remembering how his world brightened up when Alexis came back into it.

"Then there's nothing to worry about." Alexis assured.

"Hmm… thanks Lex."

"Ah, young love," Yukina beamed. "Reminds me of us back in the day, anata!"

"Hey, we aren't that old," Kyoshiro laughed.

"Okay, my turn!" Mitsuyo chirped, drawing her sixth card. "Oooooooooh, this looks good! First I'll play my Double Summon letting me summon this turn! Then for my first Normal Summon, I summon The Agent of Creation – Venus!"

A flash of light emerged from Mitsuyo's side of the field which brought out a woman with golden wings emerging from her back and long blonde hair. She was beautiful and her face was serene, making her seem almost holy. Around her, three orbs circled her colored red, purple and blue. Her appearance made Nero scoff, as if she weren't even in league with the Empress. (3/ATK: 1600/DEF: 0)

"And I'll pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon two Mystical Shine Balls from my Deck!"

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 3000

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 4000

Two clear balls appeared shining brightly next to Venus. (2/ATK: 500/DEF: 500) x2.

"What's the point of doing that?" Syrus wondered.

"If I remember the Agent deck correctly, nothing good for the twins." Bastion spoke gravely. "Those Mystical Shine Balls make for excellent sacrifice material in the right circumstances."

"The Archlords." Marta nodded.

"T–The what?" asked Mamori.

"You're about to see if Bastion and I are right." Marta frowned.

"And no~w for my second Normal Summon, I'll sacrifice the two Shine Balls for Archlord Kristya!" Mitsuyo said happily. A blast of light heralded with red feathers erupted from Mitsuyo's side of the field which brought out a silver statue–like being with red wings and red cloth worn around its waist. It almost looked like a living statue rather than a living being, but there was no mistaking the divine brilliance of the creature. (8/ATK: 2800/DEF: 2300)

"We were both right." Marta frowned.

"I'll go place a facedown and end my tur~n." Mitsuyo cooed before a reverse card appeared on her Field.

"My turn then!" Ginsuke announced, drawing his next card. Looking over his hand, he began his next move, "I think I'll play things on the sly end. I'll summon Servant Assassin: Jack the Ripper to the field in ATK mode!"

Unlike light which brought Nero, a blast of fog announced the arrival of a small girl dressed in scandalous clothes with six butcher knives strapped to her hips. She had short white hair and emotionless eyes, making her look almost doll–like were it not for the scar on her cheek. She merely watched the other side of the field, unblinking. (2/ATK: 1000/DEF: 1000)

"Another female that's supposed to be male?" Victor asked raising an eyebrow.

"Well, they never did find out Jack the Ripper's real identity so it's possible." Kurogasa shrugged.

"Now I'll activate her special effect!" Ginsuke continued. "I can draw a card from my Deck and play it, my Field Spell Card, Noble Phantasm: Darkened Misty Metropolis!" Ginsuke drew the card and placed it in the Field Spell Card Zone, transforming the arena into the darkened, misty, and menacing streets of turn of the century London.

"Allow me to explain." Ginsuke spoke, seeing the female twins looking around. "This mist is the poison of the industrial era, made more deadly by being Assassin's Noble Phantasm, something that can only be activated when she's on the field. Not only can you now not target her, but all non–Dark monsters will lose ATK and DEF by 100 multiplied by their levels every time their owner's standby phase runs through. When they run out, they go to the Graveyard!"

"But won't your brother's Monster suffer the same effect?" asked Tsukiyo.

"I got it covered. Activate trap!" Shunsuke announced. He flipped up a card revealing a woman in blue being summoned from an arcane circle inside an ancient castle. "Land of Legendary Birth! When I activate this, I can change a Servant's type and alignment! I'll keep Nero as a Warrior, but I'll change her alignment to DARK to avoid Jackie–chan's effect!" Nero smirked at the announcement, her eyes flashing deep purple before returning to their natural green.

"I will then put two cards face down." Ginsuke continued. "I'll finish my turn at that."

"My turn." Tsukiyo said drawing her sixth card. "I place one card facedown." She inserted a card into her disk, "And then, I activate the Spell, Card of Sanctity then chain it with Offerings to Doomed, and then Chain Summoning!"

"Whoa!" Rika gasped.

"S–Summoning three Monsters in one turn?!" Mamori gasped.

"That's right. Chain Summoning allows me to summon three Monsters from my hand if the Chain Link is 3 or higher. Then Offerings to the Doomed destroys one of your Monsters, making me give up my next Draw Phase next turn. But that's okay, thanks to Card of Sanctity." Soon, Chain Summoning flashed to spread its magic over her and Mitsuyo's side of the field. Then, Offerings to the Doomed fired a light laser to blast Jack the Ripper into pixels. Then all players drew thanks to Card of Sanctity.

The arena around the Duelists flashed as Darkened Misty Metropolis vanished, ending its effects as soon as Jack the Ripper left the Field.

"Huh?" Mitsuyo blinked. "Why'd the funny fog disappear too?"

Gin sighed, "Because it was Jack the Ripper's Noble Phantasm, an aspect of her legend which became a power in itself. When she goes, so does it."

"Bad luck there Bro." Shunsuke smiled.

Up in the stands, the group of friends took in the scene. Bastion was trying to calculate how the decks worked and ideas for strategies on how to defeat them. Mamori was wondering what kind of scary monsters Tsukiyo might summon now that she could summon three times. Marta merely watched, wanting to enjoy the duel without comments or criticisms.

"Ouch. Those boys are going to get pounded!" Kyoshiro winced. "Even if that Nero woman protects them, if Tsukiyo brings out some strong enough monsters, it'll be a quick kill for the girls!"

"I wouldn't count them out yet," Kurogasa argued. "They don't look nervous to me."

"And now for the summonings. I summon Secret Guards of the Ice Barrier in DEF mode and Cryomancer and Dewdark of the Ice Barrier in ATK mode!" Tsukiyo declared.

The first to appear was a man with short white wearing a sleeveless blue shirt with an ice crystal design on it, wearing blue robe pants, a long blue scarf around his neck, and was armed with two swords (2/ATK: 100/DEF: 1600). Next, was a man with a tan helmet in white robes holding a small scepter with an ice crystal at its top (2/ATK: 1300/DEF: 0). The last and final Monster was a man with blonde hair in purple clothing, looking like a ninja of sorts, carrying two ice daggers. (2/ATK: 1200/DEF: 800)

"I guess it's my turn now!" Shunsuke smiled, taking his next card. Looking at his hand, he looked back over at Mitsuyo's side of the field. "That Archlord is going to be pretty annoying with how he's blocking our special summons. Best to put him down and soon."

"You can try~!" Mitsuyo teased. "But people who fight angels get in trouble!"

"Is she all there in the head?" wondered Ginsuke.

"I dunno." Shunsuke shrugged. "Anyway, I'll start by playing Nero's Noble Phantasm! Noble Phantasm: Aestus Domus Aurea!"

"What's that?" Koji wondered. Shunsuke slipped his card into the Field Spell Zone, unleashing another blast of light which transformed the arena into a golden Roman theatre which had red rose petals falling down from a bright light from above.

"Egads!" Bastion gasped. "This is Nero's golden theatre! It's been theorized that the great fire which destroyed Rome was started on Nero's orders so that spectacular monuments like this could be built!"

Shunsuke grinned, even as he watched Tsukiyo frown and Mitsuyo giggle at the rose petals, trying to catch one. Nero on the other hand seemed to become even more pompous as she watched the crowds in her theatre.

"Let me explain this one." Shunsuke grinned. "This here's a theatre where Nero has complete control of the stage we're all sitting on. She always wins and she always gets her way, being the protagonist of our little drama. So what she does, the actors have to follow up on, meaning your Monsters!" Shunsuke then reached to his disk. "Now, Nero's restful interlude has begun so everyone, take a break! I switch Nero into DEF mode!"

Nero snapped her fingers and a Romanesque lounging bench appeared which she draped herself across, looking quite desirable as she did so. She eyed the other side of the field and snapped her fingers again. Mitsuyo and Tsukiyo's Monsters then all dropped to their knees, aside from the Secret Guards and shifted to DEF mode.

"The Ra Reject has total field control now," Chazz commented, frowning. "As long as he's got that Nero chick on the Field, he can position the Monsters any way he wants."

"Now as the main protagonist takes her reprieve, one of the supporting actors will move this story along!" Shunsuke continued, slapping another card onto his disk. "Like Servant Berserker: Lu Bu!" Another light brought forth a mountain of a man with dark skin and red hair, dressed in intimidating crimson and black Chinese armor. His face was trapped in a deep snarl, showing absolutely no ability for sanity. All that was left was a snarling madman.

"EEP!" Syrus squeaked.

"Wow! Too cool!" Jaden admired the massive warrior (3/ATK: 1600/DEF: 2000)

"And any good warrior from the Tree Kingdoms needs his weapon!" Shunsuke played his next card. "Noble Phantasm: God Force!"

"God Force?" The whole cast asked.

Lu Bu bellowed and clenched his hand in the air, making a flash of light. Emerging from it was a Chinese spear, but one that looked like it was made with movable parts rather than all being in one piece. On thing that no one would disagree on was that there was an aura of power, of might, which resided in that spear. Those sensitive to Duel Spirits such as Jaden and Kurogasa felt a shiver run down their spines.

"Lu Bu's mighty weapon which he could take into any battle!" Shunsuke grinned. "Lu Bu's initial effect allows me to change his title from Berserker to Assassin, Lancer, Rider, or Archer. In turn, God Force's effect changes depending on what title he has. Since I'm keeping him as Berserker though, he gains 800 ATK points!" Lu Bu snarled, gripping his weapon as his ATK points shot up.

Servant Berserker: Lu Bu (3/ATK: 1600–2400/DEF: 2000)

"Now Lu Bu! Attack Archlord Kristya! Five Soldiers of the War God!" Lu Bu bellowed like an angry beast, forcing the audience in the front row to cover their ears while the man charged towards the kneeling Archlord. Despite being as crazy as one could get, Lu BU still seemed to hold incredible skill with his houtengeki, wielding it like a true master as he prepared to strike.

"Nuh–uh–uh!" Mitsuyo cooed wagging her finger. "I'll activate this! Half or Nothing!"

Shunsuke and Ginsuke looked at one another before they nodded. Shunsuke looked to where Berserker was charging and announced, "I'll take half!"

"HUH?" the twin girls blinked in confusion.

"Then I'll activate my traps!" Ginsuke announced, flipping up one of his cards. It seemed to be a woman in blue and a man in green back to back in a deep forest. "Heroic Skill: Instinct! When an EARTH aligned Servant is on the field I can give it 1000 ATK until the end of the turn!"

Servant Berserker: Lu Bu (3/ATK: 2400–1200–2200/DEF: 2000)

"You're still 100 points short!" Tsukiyo called.

"Which is when I'll activate Class Skill: Mad Enhancement!" Ginsuke flipped up his next card, revealing a black knight with a monstrous aura around it. "I can only use this while a Berserker is on the field and Lu Bu qualifies! Whenever a Berserker attacks or is attacked, they gain 500 ATK points!"

Servant Berserker: Lu Bu (3/ATK: 2200–2700/DEF: 2000)

"Oh noes!" Mitsuyo gasped.

"Lu Bu! Finish it!"

Half Or Nothing went into effect, sending a beam of power at Lu Bu. The Berserker seemed to have a hardwired instinct for battle and managed to avoid the worst of it, but he continued going for the target. Reaching the Archlord, he unleashed a savage combo of strikes which broke through Kristya, destroying the Archlord and sending a shockwave from the blast.

"Noooo~!" Mitsuyo sniffled.

"It happens! Stay in the game," Tsukiyo grimaced.

"Ha! That was fun!" Shunsuke laughed as Lu Bu returned. "I'll set a pair of cards facedown to finish off my turn."

Servant Berserker: Lu Bu (3/ATK: 2700–2400/DEF: 2000)

"You meanies! You're gonna pay for that!" Mitsuyo huffed while drawing her next card, making her Hand at seven. "Just for that, I play Sanctuary in the Sky!" At that point, the whole scenery changed to an old Greek–like temple that was floating in the sky. "And next I'll summon my Agent of Mystery – Earth in ATK mode!" Rising from the light, came a cheery woman with pale blue skin and was dressed in blue/green robes. She was also holding a gold staff in her hands. From her back came a pair of green feathered wings. Even with the wings, she appeared more spritely than angelic (2/ATK: 1000/DEF: 1000) "And since she's out while Sanctuary of the Sky is played on the Field, I can add Master Hyperion to my Hand!"

"Uh~oh~ not good…" Kurogasa grimaced. "Those guys are going to be in for a world of hurt now."

"They say Hyperion is like the avatar of the sun or something," Alexis nodded. "I've never seen it played before though."

"Sweet! I can't wait to see it then!" Jaden said excited.

"Only the Slacker would ask people with incredible monsters to play them when they could blast his butt out of existence," Chazz muttered.

*BONG!*

"OW!" Chazz cringed in pain after he was hit on the head by a frying pan, courtesy of Rika. "HOW DO YOU KEEP MAKING THAT THING APPEAR?!" Chazz screamed out, fed up with being slugged by the thing out of the blue.

"I always keep one with me." Rika grinned.

"And now I'll banish my Agent of Mystery – Earth to Special Summon from my Hand, Master Hyperion!" Mitsuyo yelled.

A blast of flame erupted, forming a sphere of fire shining like the sun which rose into the air. From inside the sphere, a large figure emerged, appearing like a statue or some kind of divine entity. He was clad in silver and gold armor and his face appeared to be made of silver. Around him, solar flames burned in the air, never running out of fuel but never burning anything either (7/ATK: 2700/DEF: 2100).

"And there he is. The Titan of Light." Kurogasa murmured.

"So cool!" Jaden admired.

"Sure, only you'd think it's cool…" Chazz grumbled.

*BONG!*

"OW! Will you stop hitting me with that thing?!"

"When you stop badmouthing my ma… er… Jaden!" Rika muttered.

"Real smooth Rika… re~al smooth…" Alexis deadpanned.

"Now I activate his special ability! I remove my Kristya from play to destroy one card on your side of the Field! So Nero, exit the stage!"

Hyperion created a sphere of light which he threw at Nero. The empress stood firm, but even she couldn't resist the blast when it struck her, causing a massive explosion which removed her from the field. Ginsuke and Shunsuke had to shield their eyes from the holographic smoke.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Most of the boys cried.

"Whew…" Kurogasa sighed in relief.

"Philistine," Shunsuke muttered.

"Kurogasa, how could you say that?!" Syrus cried out.

"Because I have a girlfriend," Kurogasa replied. "And I don't want to end up sleeping on the couch because of a Duel Monster."

"You got that right." Alexis smirked, before giving Kurogasa a kiss on the cheek.

"Now Hyperion, attack their Life Points directly!" Mitsuyo ordered. "Solar Flare Explosion!"

"I don't think so!" Ginsuke called, flipping up one of his cards. "I activate my Summoning Array! I discard a card from my hand and can special summon a Servant to the Field." Ginsuke dropped the card in question before playing his next one. "Now I Special Summon Servant Lancer – Karna in DEF mode!" A red circle appeared on the ground before a figure dressed in golden armor rose up in a kneeling position. On his shoulders were gold circles and a red feathered collar. His chest was bare save for a red gem embedded in the center of it. His skin was white and his eyes were gold, looking exotically charming. (2/ATK: 1000/DEF: 2000)

"How's he going to help?!" Mitsuyo demanded. "It's not going to stop Hyperion from attacking!"

"And I'll use Karna to block Hyperion's attack!" Shunsuke spoke up. Hyperion's solar attack burned through the air and Karna leaped in front of it. The blow struck him head on, exploding violently. It took several moments for the smoke to clear, but when it did the audience gasped to see that Karna had survived the blast, dusting ashes from his arms.

"Hey! He should be gone!" Mitsuyo huffed. "Hyperion hit him! I know he did!"

"It's probably a special ability you ditz," Tsukiyo huffed.

"Oh."

"Exactly," Ginsuke nodded. "Karna has to be destroyed twice before he can be sent to the Graveyard. It's due to his armor you see. Since he's the son of the sun god Surya, he was given indestructible gold armor which would prove his lineage," Ginsuke's eyes turned to Hyperion whose eyes widened when he was looking at Karna. "You could say that he and Hyperion are related in a sense, having power of the sun on their side."

"And nothing else you've got can attack this turn or break Karna's hide," Shunsuke grinned. "So are you finished or what?"

"Mmm…" Mitsuyo pouted with one cheek. "I'll place a facedown and end my turn…"

"My turn!" Ginsuke called out, drawing his card. "Well, since you were so quick to bring out a monster like Hyperion, I can at least do the same." He pulled a card out, "Now I will play another Field Spell Card, one that can exist at the same time as another Field Spell Card so you'll need a card which destroys spell cards to get rid of it or I play another Field Spell."

"There is a Field Spell like that?" asked Kurogasa.

"It's been suggested since sometimes it can be too easy to destroy Field Spell Cards," Kyoshiro nodded.

Ginsuke continued, playing his card, "Now I'll play Holy Grail War Commencement Ritual!"

The center of the battle area flashed before an arcane circle appeared between the two sides. Then the ground cracked before emerging from the ground in the shadow of the Sanctuary came seven statues circling the duelists. A knight wielding a sword, an archer with her bow held high, a charioteer holding the reins of an unseen steed, a spearman holding his weapon high, a skull–faced assassin raising his dagger, a wizened mage raising a staff, and a beast–headed madman reaching into the sky.

"W–What's that?" Mamori stuttered.

"Think of this like Fusion Gate, but for Ritual Monsters," Ginsuke explained. "Allow me to show you how it works." Ruffling through his Hand, he pulled out more cards. "I will tribute Karna on the Field along with the Ancient Mantle and Servant Caster – Avicebron in my Hand."

The center of the magic circle began to glow and Karna stepped into the middle of it before Ginsuke's two cards flew from his Hand and met the Servant there. The light grew brighter as it engulfed all three, making the twin sisters shield their eyes, but Ginsuke and Shunsuke were not affected.

BGM: WAVE - Aionian Hetairoi

Ginsuke raised his hands and began to chant a strange verse.

"Silver and Iron to the Origin. Gem and the Archduke of Contracts to the Cornerstone. The Ancestor is my Great Master Schweinorg.
The Alighted Wind becomes a Wall. The Gates in the Four Directions close, coming from the Crown, the Three–Forked Road that leads to the Kingdom Circulate.
Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill).
Repeat every Five Times.

Simply, shatter once filled.
I announce.
Your Self is under Me, my Fate(doom) is in Your Sword.
In accordance with the Resort of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this Feeling, this Reason, then Answer.
Here is my Oath. I am the One who becomes all the Good of the World of the Dead, I am the One who lays out all the Evil of the World of the Dead.
You, Seven Heavens clad in Three Words of Power, arrive from the Ring of Deterrence, O Keeper of the Balance!"

"Kurogasa…" Haruto spoke up, appearing next to his partner. "Those words… those are real magic words. He's reciting a spell in front of everyone here!"

Kurogasa nodded, feeling a chill running down his spine. Ginsuke was summoning something big and being exposed to so much magic over the past year, he knew the feeling. Jaden and Koji could feel it as well, but the Slifer was too excited to notice it. Koji was staring, entranced by the chanting and the words.

"Come forth my Servant!" Ginsuke shouted out, sounding like he was trying to truly summon something instead of dueling. "Servant Rider – Alexander the Great!"

The light in the center of the circle erupted in a pillar which announced the arrival of a new man. He was massively tall, dwarfing pretty much everyone in the auditorium. He was dressed in Greek armor with a deep red mantle draped over his shoulders. His arms were bare, with scars etched on his skin and a truly massive gladius rested on his side. The man's hair was short, but wild and bright red which matched his beard. His face was lit up with a bright smile, but he was vastly confident and just standing there exuded a powerful charisma which world leaders were lucky to have a portion of themselves, a charisma which Yugi Motou was noted for when he dueled.

"Hail the King of Conquerors!" Ginsuke bellowed. (8/ATK: 2500/DEF: 2200)

"Oh… my… gosh…" Rika said bewildered.

"Great Scott…" Bastion said in a similar expression. "Alexander the Great… the one who almost conquered the whole world.

"Whoa, that's cool!" Jaden said excited.

"Well this is… interesting…" Kurogasa got out.

"I feel so small…" Syrus muttered.

"N–Now you know how I feel." Mamori stuttered.

Alexander grinned on the Field before raising his arms into the air, shouting for everyone to hear, "Cease all battles, the King of Conquerors as appeared! Lay down your weapons and hear my words!" he peered to Mitsuyo, Tsukiyo, and their monsters. "Your power has defeated several Heroic Spirits already, members of my army! I acknowledge the achievement." A grin then came to his face. "So now I offer you a place in my army! What say you? Join me and we shall conquer any foe before us!"

"Uh…" Mitsuyo blinked in uncertainty while Tsukiyo stayed silent.

"He's like that," Shunsuke chuckled.

"Oh, uh, thank you but… no thank you?" Mitsuyo cringed.

"What she said," Tsukiyo agreed.

"Ah, negotiations have failed." Alexander sighed.

"Then we continue," Ginsuke agreed. "Alexander's effect will now activate. Since a Field Spell Card like Sanctuary in the Sky is in effect, Alexander and all who fight by his side gain 500 ATK points." Alexander grinned before he drew his sword, his attack points spiking as he did so.

Servant Rider – Alexander the Great (8/ATK: 2500–3000/DEF: 2200)

"Now Alexander, strike down Master Hyperion!" Ginsuke spoke. "Thunder of the Conqueror!" Alexander's sword flashed with electricity as he began his charge on the avatar of the sun.

"Not so fast! Activating Attack Guidance Armor!" Mitsuyo countered revealing the facedown. "Now I can redirect the attack, and it's going to Secret Guards of the Ice Barrier! And since my Ice Barriers are targeted, with Cryomancer on the Field, you can't attack them!"

"Well crap," Shunsuke sighed. "Those two are crafty."

"Yes," Ginsuke agreed. "Okay, I'll leave it at that. Turn end."

BGM Ends

"Then it's my turn." Tsukiyo said drawing her next card to make her Hand at four. "Dewdark, attack directly!"

"Huh?" Ginsuke and Shunsuke said confused.

"I didn't stutter. If I have only level 2 Ice Barrier Monsters on the Field, he can attack directly! Silent Ice Slash!"

"Oh crap!" the boys gasped before the ninja leaped across the Field, slashing at the both of them before leaping away from the pair back to the girls' side of the field, taking 1200 of the boys' Life Points with them.

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 3000

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 2800

"Since I haven't Normal Summoned this turn yet, I'll summon Dance Princess of the Ice Barrier in ATK mode!" Rising up from Tsukiyo's side was a woman dressed in a winter outfit with blue hair tied into ponytails with snowflake ornaments. In her hands were chakrams which were shaped like snowflakes that spun on her hands. She smiled and spun on the spot, whipping up a small snowy wind around her. (4/ATK: 1700/DEF: 900) "And with her on the Field, I'll activate her special ability! I can return Spell and Trap cards on the Field back to your Hands, equal to the number of Ice Barrier Monsters I reveal in my Hand!" Tsukiyo then revealed two Ice Barrier Monsters. General Raiho and General Grunard. "Now I'll return both Field Spells back to our Hands!"

The Dance Princess began to spin, kicking up a blizzard which covered the seven statues with ice, making them vanish with the wind and pushing the Sanctuary higher into the sky where it couldn't be seen anymore. Alexander was forced to shield his face as his ATK points lowered.

Servant Rider – Alexander the Great (8/ATK: 3000–2500/ATK: 2200)

"Now I'll play Card Destruction, forcing us to discard our entire Hand and redraw the same number of cards!" The brothers winced, dropping their cards and drawing new ones.

"No more Holy Grail War then," Alexis observed. "And without it then the boys can't summon Servants like Alexander."

"They probably have a countermeasure to get it back," Kurogasa argued. "If nothing else, Shunsuke probably has a copy of it in his Deck too."

After the twin sisters discarded and redrew, Tsukiyo said, "Now I'll play Pot of Greed to draw two cards!" She drew two. "Then I'll play Serial Spell to discard my entire Hand and draw four!" She did as the card instructed. "Next I sacrifice Secret Guards to summon Dai-Sojo of the Ice Barrier in ATK mode!" Another light summoned a man dressed in eastern priest attire, but colored blue and had a snowflake motif like the rest of the Ice Barrier monsters. (6/ATK: 1600/DEF: 2200)

"And with him on the Field, when he's in ATK mode, he switches to DEF!" Dai-Sojo took a knee and produced an energy shield looking like a snowflake. "And with him in DEF mode, my Ice Barrier Monsters are protected from being destroyed by Spells and Traps. I'll end my turn with a facedown."

"My move!" Shunsuke announced, drawing his next card. Seeing what he drew, he began to grin. "Okay, this is going to cheese you off! I play Holy Grail War Commencement Ritual!" Slapping the card onto the Field, the seven statues rose up once again with the magic circle etched onto the floor. At the same time, Alexander's ATK points rose up again.

"Oh ma~n!" Mitsuyo whined. "We just got rid of that one!"

"Now I'll use its effects!" Shunsuke grinned. "So I'll ditch Servant Caster: Hans Christian Anderson, Servant Assassin: Li Shuwen, and Gorgon Skull for the ritual!"

The three cards vanished into the light, revealing for a moment a slightly misshapen skull with snake skeletons coming from the scalp before it fades. Shunsuke held out his arms and recited the same chant which Ginsuke had used to summon Alexander. Once again, Jaden, Koji, and Kurogasa felt the chill of the magic power run down their spines. Whatever Shunsuke was calling, it was in the same league as Alexander.

"Now I summon!" Shunsuke announced as the seal made a pillar of light. "Servant Rider – Medusa!"

Emerging from the light was a truly voluptuous woman. She had long violet hair which reached all the way down to her legs. Her face was unblemished save for a red glyph on her forehead. She was obviously beautiful, but her eyes were covered by a blindfold with was clamped shut at the bridge of her nose. She wore a simple black dress which hugged her frame enticingly with black gloves that reached up to her biceps along with boots that reached up to her thighs, all of which accented with purple decorations. Gripped in her hands was a pair of sharp nail-like daggers that were attached to one another with a long length of chain (7/ATK: 2200/DEF: 2800).

"Oh dang it, Lex help me!" Kurogasa cried out.

"You're lucky you've got a girlfriend like me," Alexis smirked before dragging Kurogasa's face closer to hers. "Now pay attention!" She then began kissing him, using every trick she knew to leave him dazed so he wouldn't be distracted by Medusa. Marta flushed slightly and Mamori blushed and they glanced to see what Kurogasa's parents thought only to see Yukina taking steps to make sure that Kyoshiro kept his eyes on his wife and not the new Duel Monster.

"Is this really the time to be making out?" Rika sweat dropped.

Alexis drew back, "Anything to make sure Kurogasa stays on the straight and narrow."

"I think Mrs. Kururugi is corrupting you in my opinion," Rika shot back.

Syrus' eyes bulged and his face lit up, "I'm in love…"

"Another card crush Syrus?" asked Bastion, taking great care not to stare at Medusa too hard.

"I don't get it," Jaden blinked.

"Losers," Chazz scoffed, his eyes shut.

"At least Jaden and Chazz are oblivious to it." Marta commented.

"Oh my, I'm in love!" Crowler squealed.

"Excuse mòi?! I saw her first!" Bonaparte snapped.

Shunsuke smiled as Medusa stood up, brushing her hair from her face, "Lovely as always Medusa." He looked to his opponents and grinned, "And before you ask, yes this is the legendary gorgon from Ancient Greece. She looks like this because she was at her prime, as she was meant to be instead of a snake-haired monster."

"But she's so pretty." Mitsuyo argued.

"That she is," Shunsuke agreed, making a small smile appear on Medusa's lips. Her fanboys immediately began going into transports of delight. "She and her sisters were born from mankind's wishes for kind and just gods. The Greek Pantheon wasn't exactly nice to all humans. However Medusa was hailed as the most beautiful of the trio, so much so Poseidon tried to woo her any way he could until he just lost his patience…"

"Hey, this is a family oriented school," Ginsuke interrupted.

"Yeah, you get the picture," Shunsuke nodded. "Anyway, while Medusa was recovering with her sisters' help, jealous Athena orchestrated events to turn all of the gorgons' worshippers against them and exiled them to their island. So–called heroes arrived to slay them in the name of the gods, but Medusa protected her sisters. Eventually the loneliness, hate from the soldiers, and endless killing just drove Medusa to the brink and changed her into the monster Perseus was so famous for killing."

"W–Well that explains it." Mamori said.

"OH MEDUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" The fanboys cried after hearing the story.

"Yeah, anyway," Shunsuke flinched at the fanboys. "I'll activate one of her special effects. By discarding a card, I can place a Breaker Gorgon counter on one of your monsters like say… Master Hyperion!"

"Oh no!" Mitsuyo cried out.

Shunsuke ditched his card and Medusa undid the clip on her blindfold. It fell away, revealing her eyes to the audience. Her eyes were indeed an enchanting shade of gold, but was most irregular about them was the fact that her pupils were square. She looked across the playing Field and looked directly into Hyperion's eyes. The avatar of the sun stiffened, but there was a flash of light and Hyperion's celestial steel body into cold stone.

"And any Monster that has a Breaker Gorgon counter on it are switched to DEF mode!"

"S–She really is Medusa," Mamori trembled.

"Yes," Marta nodded.

"Now for my Normal Summon," Shunsuke continued, not taking note of Mitsuyo's rather overdramatically horrified face. "So I'll summon Servant Archer – Robin Hood to the Field!" Another flash brought out a man in a green tunic with a green cape and dark pants with leather boots. He had orange hair which partially covered his eye and in his hand was a simple bow (3/ATK: 1500/DEF: 1100).

"And now his special effect kicks in," Shunsuke laughed. "While he's on the Field at the same time as a Field Spell Card, all non-Servant monsters lose 100 ATK and DEF multiplied by their levels."

Robin Hood smirked before he drew an arrow and drew it back before firing it into the air. It struck the ceiling before a green mist began to hang over the duel arena. The audience and the Servants were fine, but all of the Ice Barrier Monsters Tsukiyo had, begun to choke as their stats began to drop. Hyperion's statue cracked, indicating the same thing.

Master Hyperion (8/ATK: 2700–1900/DEF: 2100–1300)

Dai–Sojo of the Ice Barrier (6/ATK: 1600–1000/DEF: 2200–1600

Dance Princess of the Ice Barrier (4/ATK: 1700–1300/DEF: 900–500)

Dewdark of the Ice Barrier (2/ATK: 1200–1000/DEF: 0)

Cryomancer of the Ice Barrier (2/ATK: 1300–1100/DEF: 0)

"Ahhhh!" Mitsuyo cried out, making a scene once again. Tsukiyo's eyes narrowed but she held her peace.

"Now Medusa will attack Dance Princess of the Ice Barrier! Gorgon Nail!" Shunsuke ordered, prompting Medusa to hurl the spike of her chain at the female monster.

"No you don't! Reveal facedown! Amorphic Barrier!" Medusa's attack was blocked when pillars of liquid shot up and the weapon bounced off of the surface, forcing Medusa to take her attack back with a frown on her face.

"Jeez. You two are like a wall or something!" Shunsuke groaned. "Okay, okay, one card facedown. That will do it for me."

"Whew! Thanks, sis!" Mitsuyo chirped.

"You may be annoying, but you're still my sister," Tsukiyo shrugged.

"Alright, time to turn this around!" Mitsuyo said drawing her next card making her Hand at five. "Okay, first I play my Pot of Greed to draw two cards!" She drew two and now has six. "Next I play a facedown and play Bait Doll to force my facedown open! Aegis of Gaia!"

"And what does that do?" Ginsuke asked.

"It increases our Life Points by 3000, but if it's destroyed, we lose 3000."

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 6000

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 2800

"Crap…" Ginsuke said.

"Then I play Card of Sanctity allowing us all to draw until we have six cards!" They all drew until they all have six. "Now I play Dark Core! By discarding a card from my Hand, I'll remove Hyperion from play!" A black orb engulfed Hyperion until it collapsed on itself and Hyperion was nowhere to be seen. "And that was all so that I can play another Sanctuary in the Sky and summon The Agent of Force – Mars!"

"Ooh boy, they're in for it now," Kurogasa winced, Alexis having let him go for the time being to test her work. "The Agent of Force has one, nasty special ability.

The newest Agent that appeared was a man with a glowing red aura and toga–like garb. Gripped in his hands was a war hammer and coming out of his back were red–tinted dark wings (3/ATK: 0/DEF: 0). After that, the Sanctuary of the Sky appeared again.

"0 ATK?" Shunsuke asked.

"Nuh–uh–uh~!" Mitsuyo cooed wagging her finger. "Because with Sanctuary on the Field, he gains ATK and DEF equal to the difference between our Life Points!"

"Oh dear," Ginsuke groaned.

The Agent of Force – Mars (3/ATK: 0–3200/DEF: 0–3200)

"And just to make sure you don't do anything fun~ny, I'll play Cold Wave!" A blast of icy wind flew from the activated card, forming a layer of ice over the facedown cards that the brothers had on their field. Cold Wave's effect made sure they wouldn't be able to activate them until their next turn. Shunsuke cursed under his breath while Ginsuke braced himself for what he knew was coming.

"Your Agent still loses 300 points thanks to its levels!" Ginsuke pointed out.

The Agent of Force – Mars (3/ATK: 3200–2900/DEF: 3200–2900)

"Still enough to take out one of your weaker Monsters! Mars, attack Robin Hood! Flame Hammer Slam!"

The Agent of Force soared through the air before rearing back his hammer before striking Robin Hood in the chest. The famous bandit was sent hurtling backwards where he shattered into pixels when he hit the ground. The boys felt the backlash from the explosion, taking more Life Points from the boys. Fortunately, Alexander's presence boosted Robin Hood to 2000 ATK points so there was less Damage dealt to them. It still hurt though.

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 6000

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 1900

The Agent of Force – Mars (3/ATK: 2900–3800–4100/DEF: 2900–3800–4100)

Dai–Sojo of the Ice Barrier (6/ATK: 1000–1600/DEF: 1600–2200)

Dance Princess of the Ice Barrier (4/ATK: 1300–1700/DEF: 500–900)

Dewdark of the Ice Barrier (2/ATK: 1000–1200/DEF: 0)

Cryomancer of the Ice Barrier (2/ATK: 1100–1300/DEF: 0)

"I'll end my turn with that!" Mitsuyo said satisfied.

"My move then," Ginsuke announced, taking his next card. Scanning over his hand, he decided to make another gutsy move. Alexander was a good Servant to have, but the duel was getting down to the wire and it was time to do a bold move. "I'll use the Holy Grail War Commencement Ritual's effect to tribute Forgotten Armor and Servant Rider: St. George to make another ritual summon."

The cards flew from Gin's hand and landed in the ritual circle which flashed once more, bringing more chills down the spines of those sensitive to the magic. Ginsuke chanted the summoning command before he shouted out loud, "I call upon thee! Servant Lancer: Diarmuid Ua Duibhne!"

From the light emerged another Servant. His torso was covered in green leather while his legs hand long black boots with protective steel toes. His arms were bare, with bracers on his wrists. In his hands was a pair of spears. One was red and wrapped up in a purple cloth and was long while the other was shorter and gold with the same purple cloth wrapped around it. The man's face was incredibly handsome with black hair that was swept back with a bit hanging in front of his face and there was a mole on his cheek which stooge out against his flawless skin (6/ATK: 2200/DEF: 2000).

A chill overcame the audience and the duelists as the new warrior appeared. As the light died down though, Ginsuke had paled slightly upon looking at the man. He gaped openly like a fish for a few moments before he finally spoke, "Gin… you… you summoned him in an arena where half of the audience are women!"

Ginsuke blinked, but then he paled as well, "Good grief, what have I done?" Diarmuid seemed to reflect his duelist's horror when he realized the number of females in the room.

Silence ant first… then…

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"I think it's time you paid me back Kurogasa!" Alexis got out.

Kurogasa blinked at his girlfriend, seeing she was oddly flustered, much more so than he had ever seen her before aside from when they'd spend the night. He was about to ask what was wrong, but Alexis leaped at him, knocking him over as she began 'distracting' herself from Diarmuid's image.

"M–M–M–Marta–sempai…" Mamori gasped, staring at Diarmuid with a red face.

"I know…" Marta almost groaned in appreciation. "He's… he's… so… perfect!"

"Oh… my… gosh… he's so handsome…" Rika blushed.

"Anata, kiss me now." Yukina said.

"Huh?" Kyoshiro said in confusion.

"KISS ME NOW!"

It was a near riot, every girl in the whole arena going absolutely wild for Diarmuid's appearance. Were it not for some measure of common sense being in their heads, it may have truly transformed into a riot. As it was, it seemed some of the girls were ready to begin stripping to try and get Diarmuid's attention. Mindy and Jasmine were among many who thought throwing their bras like flags would get the handsome man's attention.

"Again, again, and again…" Shunsuke groaned. "Bro, that guy's face should be considered a weapon of mass destruction."

"I'm inclined to agree," Ginsuke sighed. "I hope it's not distracting to our opponents." He looked over to the twin girls to see how they were reacting to Diarmuid.

"Wow~! He's so dre~amy!" Mitsuyo said dreamily.

"Must… resist…" Tsukiyo grunted. "Must… resist…"

"My apologies," Ginsuke sighed, bowing in time with Diarmuid who looked equally apologetic. "You see, Diarmuid is also known as Diarmuid of the Love Spot. At one point he was cursed with that spot on his face by a witch. Whenever a woman lays their eyes on it, they fall madly in love with him. Unfortunately, this curse was ultimately the reason he lost his life, betrayed by the one he swore his loyalty to."

Mitsuyo continued to giggle and stare at the dreamy warrior while Tsukiyo seemed to be fighting a mental battle between her common sense and her libido. Shunsuke just shook his head and spoke to his brother, "Just continue with your turn. Before the girls embarrass themselves any more than they have."

"Right," Ginsuke nodded. "I'll equip Diarmuid with his Noble Phantasm: Gae Dearg!" Ginsuke played his card, causing the purple cloth over his red spear to vanish. "A side effect of playing this card allows me to draw it's twin Gae Buidhe from my deck, which I will also play!" Gin drew said card from his deck and played the card, revealing the yellow spear of Diarmuid's from its cloth confines. "And while neither spears increase his attack strength, allying with Alexander does that just the same."

Servant Lancer – Diarmuid Ua Duibhne (6/ATK: 2200–2700/DEF: 2000)

"Now Diarmuid's effect will activate," Ginsuke continued. "While he's on the Field, Monsters cannot be switched into DEF mode outside of a card effect. Also, any Monsters in face up DEF position have to move to ATK mode."

Dai–Sojo stood up in ATK mode. "But… my Ice Barrier Monsters… still… can't be… attacked…" Tsukiyo grunted, still fighting the mental battle.

"Perhaps, but that can quickly change," Ginsuke retorted, taking the last of the cards in his hand. "I'll set one card face down, but then I'll use the Bait Doll, forcing it to activate!" the cards appeared, the doll and scythe striking the trap card to reveal the image of Dark Ruler Ha Des choking as his power was being drained. "Skill Drain! Now all of the monsters on the field lose their special effects when we pay 1000 Life Points!"

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 6000

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 900

Skill drain took effect, causing all of the Monsters to lose their special abilities. The Ice Barrier Monsters were gravely effected, but the Servants were less effected.

Servant Rider – Alexander the Great (8/ATK: 3000–2500/DEF: 2200)

Servant Rider – Medusa (7/ATK: 2700–2200/DEF: 2800)

Servant Lancer – Diarmuid Ua Duibhne (6/ATK: 2700–2200/DEF: 2000)

Agent of Force – Mars took it the worst though.

The Agent of Force – Mars (3/ATK: 3800–4800–0/DEF: 3800–4800–0)

"Oh no…" Tsukiyo groaned.

"Now I will have Diarmuid attack your Agent of Force! Gae Buidhe!"

"Activate trap! Attack Guidance Armor! Now you'll attack Dai-Sojo instead!" Tsukiyo quickly made her trap appear, but looked regretful for Diarmuid. "S–S–Sorry handsome."

The yellow spear of Diarmuid lunged forward before crashing into Dai–Sojo's chest, obliterating the sage–like Monster. Tsukiyo winced and looked to her Life Points, expecting to see her lose 600 Life Points, but her jaw dropped when instead of those 600 she lost a whopping 1200! "Hey!"

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 4800

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 900

"The curse of Gae Buidhe," Ginsuke replied. "People who were wounded by the spear wouldn't heal because the body wouldn't be able to recognize the cuts as actual wounds so they wouldn't heal. In Duel Monsters, whatever Damage you take from Diarmuid while he wields the spear is doubled."

"Ooooh! What a mean bishounen!" Mitsuyo huffed.

"You'll hate this next one then," Ginsuke continued. "When Diarmuid destroys a Monster while he is equipped with Gae Dearg, a Trap or Spell card goes with it. And I pick your Aegis of Gaia!" Diarmuid spun from where he destroyed Dai–Sojo, cutting through the trap card with his red spear, causing a massive backlash of power which struck the twin girls, making them cry out.

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 1800

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 900

"Now Alexander will strike the Agent of Force! Thunder of the Conqueror!" Ginsuke announced. Alexander grinned and drew his sword once again, preparing to charge at the weakened Fairy.

"I'll discard the last card in my Hand to negate the Damage! Kuriboh!"

The familiar fuzzy ball leaped into action and taking the blow from Alexander, sending brown fur in all directions. The King of Conquerors didn't seem to be fazed by the block, but was instead seemed to find it amusing. He broke out laughing as he returned to Ginsuke's side of the Field.

"Alright," Ginsuke muttered. "I'll end my turn with that."

"Hooray! Cutie Kuriboh saves the day again!" Mitsuyo cheered.

"Even if he goes against the theme of your deck, being a Fiend." Tsukiyo commented.

"So what!? Kuriboh's a cutie and I like cute things!"

"Sure, whatever." Tsukiyo shrugged. "My turn." She drew her next card to make her Hand at seven. 'Grr… I don't really have anything… but at least I can do this.' She thought. Out loud, "Alright, I play Final Destiny! By discarding five cards to the Graveyard, the entire Field gets reset!" After discarding five cards, the whole Field exploded, destroying everything.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The fanboys and fangirls cried out.

"Ahhh! No! My love!" Syrus sobbed, breaking down into tears.

"AH man! Those guys are on the ropes now!" Jaden gasped, oblivious to Medusa's passing.

"…" Rika blushed, feeling a little silly over going like a fan girl.

"Phew, I'm glad that's over." Kurogasa sighed in relief.

"Yeah," Alexis nodded, fixing her hair. She wasn't sure if she should have been embarrassed over her actions or pleased she got some quality time with her boyfriend without anyone gaping at them.

"Are we good now Yukina?" Kyoshiro asked in a daze.

"For now." Kurogasa's mother grinned impishly, fixing her makeup.

"That was crazy." Victor muttered.

"No kidding. Those two Monsters the boy twins have are trouble…" Koji agreed.

"How immature." Bastion sighed.

"Sure, and you kept your eyes shut ever since Medusa showed up," Marta huffed, chiding herself for being so immature.

"You're all a bunch of idiots…" Chazz muttered.

*BONG!*

"OW! Will you stop hitting me with that thing?!"

"…just shut up." Rika muttered.

"Noooo! Medusa is gone!" Crowler sobbed in tears.

"You can't go au revoir on me!" Bonaparte sobbed too.

"Anyways," Tsukiyo groaned. "I'll play my last card, summoning Blizzed, Defender of the Ice Barrier in ATK mode!" A blast of cold air brought out a majestic eagle which had light blue feathers with a gold head ornament on its head (1/ATK: 300/DEF: 500).

"And I'll have it attack directly! Ice Feather Barrage!" Blizzed flapped his wings, sending ice shards in the shape of feathers at the twins. Both boys were showered by the shards, deducting their Life Points further.

"Mou~! That's the best you could do?" Mitsuyo huffed.

"All my other cards were Spells or Traps," Tsukiyo shrugged. "Sue me."

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 1800

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 600

"I'll end my turn there."

"My move!" Shunsuke drew his card. "Now time for my all–time cutie! Servant Caster – Tamamo–no–Mae!" A flash of light brought out a woman dressed in a modified kimono which allowed her blue stocking–clad legs be revealed along with her cleavage. She had bright red hair which was tied with a big blue ribbon and her eyes were mischievous with a golden shine in them. Coming out from under her skirt was a fluffy fox tail and from her head were a pair of fluffy fox ears. (3/ATK: 1500/DEF: 1300)

"Ooooooooh!" the boys of the audience gasped in delight at the pretty woman.

"Tamamo–no–Mae." Alexis frowned. "I heard her story growing up."

"I guess she's got a touch when it comes to men," Kurogasa chuckled weakly.

"Darling!" the foxy Servant cheered, skipping up to Shunsuke and wrapping her arms around him in a hug. Shunsuke accepted the affection, going so far as to kiss his Caster on the cheek, making her squeal and hug him tighter.

"Sister–in–law, we're in the middle of the duel," Ginsuke spoke up, making Tamamo blink.

"Oh! Right! I'm on it BrotherinLaw!" Tamamo beamed as she hopped back to her space in the dueling Field.

"Ah, I love her." Shunsuke smiled brightly. "Anyway, now I'll bring out her trump card. Noble Phantasm: Suiten Nikkou Amaterasu Yano Shizu Ishi!" A flash brought forth a round mirror with gold prongs on the sides and smaller orbs running along the edges.

"What does that do?" Mitsuyo asked.

"The sacred mirror which was said to be a receptacle of Amaterasu's power, the goddess who created Tamamo," Shunsuke smiled. "Now when I discard a card, I can draw a Spell card from my Graveyard and give Tamamo–chan 500 ATK points." Shunsuke dropped his card and took another which slipped out of the Graveyard while Tamamo took her mirror, making it flash with ancient magic power.

Servant Caster – Tamamo–no–Mae (3/ATK: 1500–2000/DEF: 1300)

"The card I drew was," Shunsuke flipped the card over. "Monster Reborn! Come back, Servant Assassin – Li Shuwen!"

The famous spell card took effect, bringing a man dressed in Chinese robes with orange hair tied back in a ponytail on the field. His muscles were coiled and ready to strike, a skilled fighter in every sense of the word. (2/ATK: 1300/DEF: 1000) "Okay, now Li Shuwen will strike down Blizzed!" Shunsuke called out. "Divine Spear!"

The Chinese man lunged forward with astonishing speed, using a hand thrust which struck Blizzed in the chest, actually piercing straight through the bird. Blizzed shrieked before exploding into ice shards.

"Uh–oh," Tsukiyo grimaced.

"We're doomed!" Mitsuyo blubbered.

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 800

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 600

"Oh yeah!" Shunsuke grinned. "Okay Tamamo, attack with Fiery Heaven!"

Tamamo giggled and raised her mirror, causing several burning ofuda talismans to appear around her. The flames were absorbed into the mirror before being unleashed as a large fireball which burned through the air. The female twins didn't have anything left as the attack struck them, draining the last of their Life Points.

Mitsuyo/Tsukiyo: 0

Ginsuke/Shunsuke: 600

"I guess the Final Destiny was on our side," Ginsuke smiled.

"Sure was." Shunsuke smiled back as the crowd cheered wildly.

"The winner: The Akiyama Twins!" Crowler announced into the microphone.

"Darling! I did it!" Tamamo cheered, leaping into Shunsuke's arms again.

"Yes, you did." Shunsuke laughed.

"Well… that was a close duel." Kurogasa commented.

"And an interesting one," Bastion nodded. "The Ice Barrier and Servant strategies seem to have several strong points going for them. I'll have to make further note of them back in my room."

"More like make notes about Medusa…" Rika muttered.

"And you'll be making notes on Diarmuid," Chazz snorted.

*BONG*

"OW!"

"Now that the opening act is done, it's time we got down to business! Or in the manner of him!" Bonaparte announced. Suddenly, the room goes dark and a spotlight shines on Chazz, who is surprised until Bonaparte continued. "Former Obelisk Blue Chazz Princeton will duel our top ranking freshman!" The Vice–Chancellor announced. "If he wins, Chazz goes back to the Blue Dorm!"

Chazz jumps out of his chair and shouts, "YES! Finally, I can get out of that cramped and Spirit-infested dump the slackers call a dorm!"

"You look rather excited…" Bastion deadpanned.

"Of course I am Einstein!" Chazz snapped. "It's time I finally get back to the living the life and luxury."

"What about us, Boss?!" Yellow complained as Green and Black appeared.

"Yeah! You can't just dump us like this!" Green added.

"How could you?!" Black gritted.

"Oh please," Chazz huffed, "It's not like I can get rid of you that easily… you freaks would just follow me because you're in my Deck!"

The Ojamas looked to each other and said, "Oh yeah…"

"Just don't screw up, or I will find a way to do that!" the Princeton continued as he walked towards the arena with the Ojamas shrieking at his demand and floated after him.

"Sheesh… talk about a love/hate relationship there. And they're the definition of that." Kurogasa muttered.

As Chazz reached the arena floor, Bonaparte continued his 'Master of Ceremonies' stint, "Now that we have our second–year, now let me get out our challenger! He's the top ranking freshman, and a first–year Obelisk Blue! Give it up for Reginald van Howell III!"

The crowd cheered as they saw a short, young, Obelisk boy with long, spiky, brown hair waving to the crowd and stood on the arena. He saw Chazz and smirked.

"So, you used to be top freshman last year?" Reggie asked. He then mocked as he said, "Oh how the mighty have fallen…" Chazz sneered.

"I'm confused though. Why would they pick Chazz? Jaden's just as good." Syrus pondered.

"I could explain that to you." Dr. Crowler said as he approached the students.

"You have an explanation for this?" Alexis raised an eyebrow.

"A good one," the new Chancellor grinned proudly, "A clash of the two freshmen best from the past and present is good for publicity! Besides…" He looks to Jaden and says, "A Slifer Slacker can never be a star!"

"You forget that Chazz is currently a Slifer, regardless of the stakes, right?" Rika added.

Crowler sweat dropped, but quickly recovered with, "With the money the Princeton family has, they'll bring the Academy's status to the highest standards once Chazz is back in the Obelisk Blues! Even better than Aster Phoenix being enrolled here!"

"WHAT!?" Kurogasa and Alexis shouted. "ASTER PHOENIX!? ENROLLED HERE!"

"But he hasn't been seen at all…" Kyoshiro noted.

"That's why I'm doing this!" Crowler snapped, losing his composure.

"In other words, he's desperate," Marta clarified as Crowler fell out.

"I am not desperate!" Crowler snapped, before composing himself saying, "It's just worse than it looks."

Everyone sighed before turning back to the arena, where Chazz and Reginald were done shuffling and went to their respective sides.

"Let's get this over with," Reginald announced, "How could someone who used to be the top of Dueling Prep School fallen into the Slifer Dorm and think they can be me?"

"FYI, I lost to one and he wouldn't raise his level." Chazz noted, mildly offending Jaden, and Rika was more incensed and got her pan at the ready, making those around her nervous at the sudden, fiery aura she expended, "But by defeating you, Reggie, I'll get back to my former glory!"

"Reggie gets the first move," Bonaparte announced as he jumped off the arena, and fell flat on his face.

Both players activated their Duel Disk and drew the opening hands…

"DUEL!"

Reginald: 4000

Chazz: 4000

"You're going down!" Reginald said before drawing his sixth card. "I summon Marauding Captain in ATK mode!" The said blonde hair, silver armored warrior appeared. "And when he's summoned, I can Special Summon a level 4 or lower Warrior Monster from my Hand, and I choose Warrior Lady of the Wasteland!" A blonde haired woman wearing a brown hat and tattered cape over a green halter top, skirt and boots appeared (4/ATK: 1100/DEF: 1200). "Next I equip Jeweled Sword to Marauding Captain and Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade to my Lady of the Wasteland, giving both of them 300 ATK points!"

A sword with a diamond hilt replaced appeared in one of the captain's hands.

Marauding Captain (3/ATK: 1200–1500/400)

And a silver blade with a hilt shaped like a phoenix appeared in the Warrior Lady's hand.

Warrior Lady of the Wasteland (4/ATK: 1100–1400/DEF: 1200)

"Then I'll place a facedown and call it a turn!" Reginald concluded as a reversed card appeared on the Field.

"That's all," Chazz scoffed, drawing his next card, "Then getting back to Obelisk Dorms will be easier than I thought. "First off, Graceful Charity!" He announced, activating his card, "This lets me draw three new cards!" He drew his new cards, "And then I have to dump two, and since I'm feeling generous, I'll let you know what they are: First, my Enchanting Fitting Room and then, I'll dump Ojamagic!"

"Say what!?" Reginald shouted.

"I didn't stutter…" Chazz frowned. He discarded his two cards, but then grabbed three more cards from his Deck, "Ojamagic, you twerp. It adds Ojama Yellow, Black, and Green to my hand!"

"HELLO!" the Ojama Brothers shouted to Chazz as they floated around him.

"Freaks with 0 ATK!?" Reginald scoffed, "No wonder you're in the Slifer dorm!"

"Then maybe, I should have you meet one of them," Chazz smirked as he took Yellow's card, and placed it in attack mode, "Ojama Yellow, get out here!"

In flash, Yellow appeared on the field and shouted, "Hurray, the boss summoned me!" (2/ATK: 0/DEF: 1000)

"In ATK mode!?" Syrus shouted, "Even I wouldn't do something like that!"

"But what's his strategy?" Bastion wondered.

"Then, I activate my Field Spell, Ojama Country!" Chazz announced, opening his side slot and inserting his Field Spell inside before closing.

Once done, the field was transported to a small village with Ojama Yellow's head-shaped houses along a hill. The one thing that shocked all the newcomers of the Academy, is that the village was small in terms of height as Chazz and Reginald were giants among them!

"Sure, this place is low–rent," Chazz stated, "But with an Ojama monster on the field, all Monsters' original ATK and DEF are swapped!"

"WHAT!?" Reginald shouted as the scores of all monsters changed.

Marauding Captain (3/ATK: 1500–700/400–1200)

Warrior Lady of the Wasteland (3/1400–1500/1200–1100)

Ojama Yellow (2/0–1000/1000–0)

"And before you say how weak Yellow is compared to your Warrior Lady, let me play Polymerization to fuse Green and Black together!"

"Just two of them?" Jaden asked as both Green and Black floated into a fusion vortex.

"Meet, Ojama Knight!"

Soon, Reggie came face to face with a slightly bigger Ojama Yellow, but wearing armor, though the bikini briefs were worn on the outside (5/ATK: 0/DEF: 2500)

"And with Ojama Country, he's a lot stronger than he is…"

Ojama Knight laughed similar to Ojama Yellow, but as his ATK grew, he sounded more heroic.

Ojama King (5/0–2500/2500–0)

"Alright, since I have to get through your Marauding Captain first," Chazz stated, "Yellow, go to work…"

"Alright!" Yellow cheered as he charged in, head first and smashed into Marauding Captain's face, shattering him into pixels.

Reginald: 3700

Chazz: 4000

"Now Ojama Knight, take down that other warrior as well!" He continued as the Knight drew his sword and slashed it downward on the Warrior Lady, destroying her as well.

Reginald: 2700

Chazz: 4000

"Hah! You think that scares me?!" Reginald mocked. "I'll activate Call of the Haunted to bring back my Marauding Captain back onto the Field!" The said warrior returned to the Field. "And he's the least of your worries! Warrior Lady of the Wasteland's effect activates! If she's destroyed in battle, I can Special Summon an EARTH attribute Monster with 1500 ATK or less from my Deck! And I choose Exiled Force!"

Joining the Captain, a band of rogue fighters in leather armor and pants appeared with ordinary swords (3/ATK: 1000/DEF: 1000)

"It's not like you can do anything," Chazz stated, "Your Marauding Captain's still has 400 ATK with my Field Spell in play. But I'll take a break…"

"Wow, he's got the first year Obelisk down to almost half his Life Points!" Jaden said excited.

"This kid's not too bad," Bonaparte stated.

"You're surprised?" Crowler asked rhetorically, "Remember who it was that set up today's duels…"

"Oui, Oui, Oui, I get it." Bonaparte waved off. "Still, the sooner this duel is over, the better."

"Come on, Reggie." Chazz taunted, "I'm still waiting on how you became an Obelisk and the top ranking freshman…"

"Hmph. You ain't seen nothin' yet!" Reginald said before drawing his next card. "You know, I used to admire ya. You were the best at everything and seeing your duels made me want to be just like you too. But now look at you. You somehow flunked and dropped to Slifer Red hanging out with those Slifer Slackers. Not only that, you became the joke of your family! How pathetic is that?!"

"What's pathetic is that you're taking a beating from me a 'Slifer Red'," the black coat Slifer retorted.

"Yeah, well that's about to change!" Reginald said, before looking at his card. "First I activate Exiled Force's effect of sacrificing him to destroy your Ojama Knight!"

Ojama Knight eyes, bugged out as he saw the rogue warrior army charge at him and pretty soon, all of them exploded into a cloud that had the sounds of fighting going on before they all shattered into pixels.

"Next I activate Card of Demise, allowing me to draw until I have five! On my 5th Standby Phase, I lose my entire Hand!" He drew until he had five. "Heh, heh, nice! First I activate Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your Ojama Country meaning all the stats get swapped back!"

Chazz gasped as a harsh windstorm settled in and started ripping apart the entire village. Yellow freaked out as he tried to hide inside of a well, but even that was destroyed once the arena came into view and placed him back on the arena floor.

"Nooooooooooo! My hooooome!" Yellow sobbed comically.

Ojama Yellow (2/ATK: 1000–0/DEF: 0–1000)

Marauding Captain (3/ATK: 400–1200/DEF: 1200–400)

"Oh, but it's about to get worse! I summon Mataza the Zapper in ATK mode!" A dark skinned samurai in green armor appeared (3/ATK: 1300/DEF: 800)

"Uh–oh, this doesn't look funky for Chazz." Koji grimaced.

"Indeed. Mataza the Zapper can attack twice and with only Ojama Yellow to defend Chazz…" Bastion began.

"Not only that, but it's like 3 direct attacks since Ojama Yellow's ATK are 0!" Syrus added on.

Chazz growled, knowing what was about to go on…

"Alright Marauding Captain, take out Ojama Yellow!" Reginald ordered.

The Captain charged through and slashed apart Yellow, who screamed in agony before shattering.

Reginald: 2700

Chazz: 2800

"And now Mataza will attack you directly twice! Dual Sword Combo Slash!"

Mataza swiftly vanished from sight, causing Chazz to gasp. But before he could notice, two slashes to his back were dealt and made him stumble over before Mataza returned to Reginald's side

Reginald: 2700

Chazz: 200

"I think I've done enough punishment for now. I'll end with two facedowns." Reginald said before two reversed cards appeared on the Field.

"O–Oh no! Chazz is in trouble!" Mamori stuttered.

"No kidding. With only 200 points left, I'd be in trouble too." Victor said.

"I'm sure he'll pull through." Jaden grinned.

"How do you know that?" Rika asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Because I've dueled him before," the E–Hero duelist replied, "And he doesn't come any tougher."

Chazz grinned as he drew his next card, "You know, if you were so successful, you should have had the cards to finish me now. But now I have the time to capitalize on it! With my Tri–Wight Spell Card!"

"What's that?!" Reginald demanded.

"It brings back three Normal Monsters that's level 2 or below, but I think you know who I'm talking about…" the Slifer stated.

"HELLO!" The Ojama Brothers greeted as they appeared (2/ATK: 0/DEF: 1000) x3

"Them again?!" Reginald groaned.

"That's right, and they're about to do some damage control on your Field and Life Points!"

"HA! With them at 0 ATK, I doubt it!"

"Then I'll just let my next card do the talking," Chazz grinned as he took out his next card, "I activate my Ojama Delta Hurricane!"

"WHAT?!" Reginald roared.

"With these three freaks on my side, you can say goodbye to all of those cards you have on the Field!"

"Grrr…" Reginald growled.

"Sic 'em boys!"

"You got it boss!" The Ojama Brothers said before they stuck their butts out and stuck them together. "OJAMA DELTA HURRICANE!" They shouted before they started spinning around really fast heading towards Reginald's Field. However, Reginald's growl turned into a smirk.

"HA! Idiot! I've come prepared! Go Magic Jammer!"

"Oh no!" Chazz shouted as the Ojamas suddenly stopped spinning and fell flat on the ground on their faces.

"Hahahahahahahaha! You think I'd actually fall for that?! Well think again!" Reginald laughed after discarding his last lone card.

"You gotta admit that was good," Kurogasa noted, "He let Chazz use Tri–Wight to make him feel safe enough to use Ojama Delta Hurricane."

"Yeah, no kidding." Alexis nodded.

"So what are you gonna do now?" Reginald taunted.

"I'll place two cards facedown to end my turn." Chazz concluded reluctantly.

"That's what I thought." Reginald said smugly before drawing his lone card. "Heh, it's time for me to end this! I sacrifice my Marauding Captain and Mataza to Advance Summon Gilford the Legend!"

Appearing now was a masked, red-headed swordsman decked out in silver armor, red cape and three swords, one of which he held. (8/ATK: 2600/DEF: 2000)

"That's not good…" Kyoshiro frowned.

"Is it going to be over?" Yukina asked.

"I don't know Kaa–san. Something tells me Chazz is not gonna let him win." Kurogasa said.

"Now for his effect! When he's summoned, all the equip spell cards I have in the Graveyard can go to him! And it happens to be Jeweled Sword and Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade!"

Gilford drew another sword and then both of them morphed into a Jeweled Sword and the Phoenix Blade.

Gilford the Legend (8/ATK: 2600–2900–3200/DEF: 2000)

"It's over! Gilford, attack Ojama Yellow!" Reginald ordered.

"Nooo!" Yellow cried.

"Not so fast, little Reggie," Chazz taunted, while activating one of his facedown cards, "Here comes my trap card, Justi–Break!"

"That lets him destroy all Monsters except Normal types!" Bastion gasped.

"HA! I'll counter with my other facedown! Trap Jammer! This lets me destroy a trap card during the Battle Phase!"

The spectators gasped, "Chazz should have seen that one coming!" Jaden exclaimed.

However, Chazz smirked, "Hey Reggie, look what I've got!" He said as he revealed his other facedown card, "I got a Trap Jammer, too!"

"No way!" Reginald gasped as his trap card and Gilford was destroyed.

"And then you suffered the effects of Justi–Break," Chazz explained to the shocked freshman, "When a Normal monster in ATK mode is under attack, it destroys all Monsters other than face–up Normal Monsters in ATK mode! Them's the breaks!"

"Grrr… one turn! You only bought one turn! When my turn coms around, you're finished!" Reginald snarled.

"And one turn is all I need." Chazz said before drawing his next card. He then smirked, "Looks like school's out, Freshman!" He then held out his drawn card, "I activate Shield and Sword, switching the ATK and DEF of all Monsters currently out!"

Reggie gasped, "So that means…"

Chazz smirked, "Spit it out, Reggie… You just lost to a 'Slacker'." He then pointed to him, "Boys?"

The Ojamas shared a high five as they felt their power shift within them. (2/0–1000/1000–0) x3

"Attaaaaack!" Yellow shouted as he jumped in with a flying kick.

"Wait for meeeeee!" Green called out, jumping for a fast punch.

"Don't forget me, numbskulls!" Black shouted as he rushed head first.

Reggie gasped as all three Ojama attacks hit home, making him fall to his back. But his facial expression was more of disbelief and shock rather than being defeated.

Reginald: 0

Chazz: 200

"Looks like slumming it with the Slifer's hasn't hurt my game! Maybe next time, you'd stop judging people by their rank." Chazz stated. "Because an Obelisk Blue, who's supposed to be the best of the best, just got schooled by Slifer Red!"

The Slifers were staring at him at awe, including the audience.

"Face it, no matter what color we wear, you'll be the same loser! And I'll always be the Chazz!"

"CHAZZ IT UP! CHAZZ IT UP! CHAZZ IT UP! CHAZZ IT UP!" The crowd cheered, even Jaden and the gang joined in. Spencer was amused at the cheer while Bonaparte was covering his ears as Crowler joined in the cheer.

"The Chazz has spoken!"

It was then Jaden jumped out of the crowd and gave him a friendly hug.

"Way to win one for the Reds!" He said. "I always knew you were one of us!"

"Get off me!" Chazz protested. "I never said that!"

Soon, the entire Slifer student body gathered around Chazz in a mosh pit and threw him in the air despite his demands to stop. It was then Crowler picked up a microphone and spoke up. "There seems to be a change of plans!" He announced. "Chazz Princeton shall remain in Slifer Red!" The Slifers continued to cheer, despite Chazz's shock that he wasn't being promoted."

"But…"

"No need to thank me Chazz, I'm just doing my job." Crowler interrupted.

"At this rate, it won't be for very longer…" Bonaparte grumbled.

"Well? That's that. Chazz is staying in Slifer Red." Kurogasa grinned.

"Maybe he was humbled all that time in the Slifer Dorm," Alexis shrugged.

"I kinda like having the kid around. Makes things livelier, around the dorm." Kyoshiro smiled.

"It really does, anata." Yukina nodded with a smile too.

Later that afternoon, Kurogasa was walking by a room until he heard someone talking behind it…

"But this we'll make a better story for the press…" It was Crowler. "'I mean someone like Chazz, standing up for the lowest ranked dorm. And not to mention being called the best…"

"Forget about the press!" Another voice came about. And it was Bonaparte's, "If you want the school to rise, we need to cut the Slifers from the island!"

"You were serious?!" Crowler asked.

"I don't kid, Crowler! It's high time to bid the Slifers, adieu!"

"Tear down the Slifer Dorm?!" Kurogasa gasped.

"Oi, that's not good…" Haruto said as he appeared with Gentarou, Eiji, Shotaro, and Philip.

"This sounds troublesome…" Philip said.

"Mattaku… and I thought Crowler was bad enough." Shotaro sighed.

"Why is he trying to kick out our buddies?" Gentarou complained.

"I don't know, but we better tell the others." Eiji said.

"Yeah, I'm with you on that." Kurogasa nodded and ran back to the Slifers to tell the news…

"Vice–Chancellor Bonaparte is gonna do what son?!" Kyoshiro exclaimed.

"Oh dear…" Yukina said, putting her hand over her mouth.

"Bonaparte's trying to get rid of the Slifer Dorm," Kurogasa stated with a frown, "He thinks that the Slifers are ruining the reputation of the Academy!"

"Are you serious?!" Jaden exclaimed.

"No way!" Syrus freaked out. "I don't wanna be kicked out!"

"And you shouldn't," Kyoshiro stated, now being serious, "I'm an official Headmaster of the Slifer Red, and as such, I will fight for my dorm… even against my own bosses… if Bonaparte is as such…"

*CRASH!*

"What was that?!" Jaden asked.

"Aw man, it's happening now?!" Kurogasa asked incredulously.

"Let's get out of here!" Syrus shouted.

But once they ran outside safely to the ground, they saw a construction crew near the dorm… but adding on to the dorm… there was no real damages except the sides but was quickly redid by some schematics…

"What's going on?" Jaden asked.

"I'll tell you…" Chazz came up to them. "Since I'm going to be staying in this dump, I'll be making a private room to live in style."

"At least it's coming out of your money, Mr. Princeton." Kyoshiro said, overlooking the construction. "In my opinion though, the Slifer dorm really needs a touch up. So thanks…"

"I guess you were wrong, Kurogasa…" Jaden said.

"Yeah, for now, but I'm pretty sure that Bonaparte's gonna come for the Dorm soon…" Kurogasa said. "Something tells me this is gonna be a LOOOONG year…"
