Pokémon – Ultimate Frontier Trainer

I hope you guys enjoyed last chapter, I'm sorry to mention that there will be a time skip of about 6 months, so after his small training session at Mount Silver, is his Pokémon might be a bit stronger. Now I am planning something for Pikachu, so he won't be a battler anymore, he will be a retired Pokémon that lives between Oak's ranch and Ash's house.

Just to let everyone know, Ash will rotate his team around regularly, however, only one Pokémon will constantly stay on the team; and that being Charizard, he is my favorite Pokémon that Ash has, with Greninja being slightly behind Charizard.

Chapter 2

Last Time

"Alright Ash, you have about a year and a half before the facility is built." Scott said, Ash nodded his head and made a mental note to remember how long he had.

"Alright, thank you guys, I guess I will see you later." Ash said before giving a small wave along with Pikachu before heading back towards the elevator to make a call with Professor Oak and let him know what is happening.

After the elevator closed with Ash in it, Lucy decided that it will be a good idea to tease poor Anabel and maybe even Greta.

"So... when will the wedding be?" Lucy asked slyly without even looking towards the girls.

"LUCY!" Both girls shouted out in anger and embarrassment with massive blushes on their faces and started chasing her around to pin her to the floor.

"Same old Ash, able to change the way people feel when he is around. I haven't seen Greta act like that nor Anabel in a very long time." Noland said with surprise etched on his face as he saw what the girls were now doing.

"Indeed." All other males said simultaneously.

"Ash has some great potential, I can't wait to work with him or face him in the upcoming tournament that is happening in two and a half years." Brandon said before he went over towards the elevator and go back to his facility.

The rest of the Frontier Brains could only nod and had to wait and see what the future had in store for them.

Now

Six months had passed since Ash became the eighth frontier brain, of course there were plenty of rumors starting about who the last member was, but Scott kept his lips shut about the final member, the only thing he said was that the person would be introduced in the next large tournament that was happening in one and a half years' time.

Of course, Ash mentioned that he was taking a training trip to both his mother and Professor Oak, they were happy to know that he had a purpose for this training, they were ecstatic that he managed to become a Frontier Brain and that he situated the facility in Pallet Town. Of course, he didn't mention where he was training at, because that just meant a whole new lecture of how dangerous that place was. He knew how deadly it was, that is why he wanted to go there, to get stong.

Now he did have his ups and downs whilst on his way, thanks to him practicing his Psychic powers when he was up there, he found out that Pikachu didn't want to battle seriously anymore and wanted to have a more easier life than the constant battles and travelling he did, Ash was upset about it at first as seeing his first Pokémon and his partner wanted to throw in the towel, but Ash wanted to have his Pokémon be comfortable in what they wanted to do and what they wanted to do were up to themselves and he was there to fully support their decisions. After some final goodbyes to Pikachu, Ash allowed him to head back to Pallet Town and live a simpler life there, with his mother to keep her more company and to make sure she was safe with his strong partner.

Although he did prefer to use some of his more powerful Pokémon, he did decide to train up the others that wanted to evolve, which were most of them, some of them however, decided to stay as they were, which were Bulbasaur, Buizel and Corphish being the main ones who wanted to stay as they were. He made sure that each one of them were comfortable with the training, because on Mt. Silver, one wrong move and you could die, that's why there are so many dangers for Mt. Silver, Ash was only allowed on because of his reputation and of his strength.

Although some did decide that they wanted to be released back into the wild, as they wanted to be free, Ash didn't question it and let them go with a smile on his face, he was happy that they could make their own choices without fearing him. Although it was painful to see over 20 of his Pokémon leave, with over half of them being Taurus, he still had some memories of his Pokémon that he would keep forever.

He kept in touch with his new colleagues, his boss Scott and even his mother and Professor Oak daily, just to keep them up to date and let them know he was still alive and kicking, although on some bad days, it was impossible to get a signal from the snow storm and the harsh weather on Mount Silver. The ones who contacted him the most though were very surprsing, those two females being Greta and Anabel, he could tell that they were excited for him to work there and become a Frontier Brain, and they sounded... pleased that he answered their calls or replied to their messages.

However, today marked the final day that he would spend on Mount Silver, and then he would go to the Alola region, which was recently found by others, it was in a nice tropical area with 4 different islands of different climates, which was perfect for catching different kinds of Pokémon.

-PUFT-

On the summit of the most dangerous mountain in all the world, coming in front of Mount Coronet in the Sinnoh region, stood Ash Ketchum, his clothes were covered in the small snowflakes as he was walking back towards his little area he made his home, where he kept his team rotation in and where he cared for some of the baby Pokémon that found themselves lost on the freezing mountain.

Through the snowstorm we can see a figure that was wearing a red zip up jacket with some golden trimmings, along with purple pockets and black jeans along with some red and black sneakers, the figure also had an official Pokémon league hat covering most of his messy raven black hair.

"It's time to start a new adventure." Ash said as he entered the cave, when he was looking around, his chocolate brown orbs with a hint of lavender looked around the populated cave, he was happy to see that most of the baby Pokémon were having fun with his much older Pokémon, although they did tend to stay away from his Charizard, as it looked intimidating for them.

The cave was relatively large, mainly because Ash and his Pokémon made it themselves, they even made a small hot spring area, which was heated with the help of his fire type Pokémon in the corner of the cave while on another side held a large lake, that was filled to the brim with water with the help of his water types

Most, if not all his Pokémon were fully evolved by now, some were sad to say goodbye to their comrades when they wanted to leave, Ash could tell they were happy for them when they were happy and wanted it to happen.

"All right guys! Everyone, gather around!" Ash called out, his strong voice echoing in the cave, most of the Pokémon stopped what they were doing and came around Ash, they could tell from his voice that he had something important to say.

"The 6 months of training are over, I have been called by Scott for us to come back to his Headquarters, he has some news to tell us." Ash said, he listened to the excited cries of his Pokémon and felt their emotions coming from them in waves, he could tell they were excited.

"So, everybody I will need you to return, unless anybody wants to stay on this mountain to protect the baby Pokémon, until they are strong enough to leave." As Ash said that all the Pokémon took a couple of seconds to make up their mind, with a Torkoal, Corphish, Gengar, Buizel, Talonflame and Emboar all deciding to stay behind as they took a couple of steps backwards.

Seeing the Pokémon that didn't step backwards were waiting for Ash to return them, and return them to Professor Oaks Lab, although as Ash was about to return two of them, they jumped on Ash and slithered around Ash and rested on Ash himself.

"Alright Meganium, Serperior. Please get off." Ash begged the two rowdy females, ever since he could start sensing what Pokémon were feeling, he could sense a lot of devotion and love towards himself, even knowing that humans can't be with Pokémon... well they can it's just heavily frowned upon and you will be treated as one of the lowest scums you could be.

The two said Pokémon reluctantly got off their trainer and accepted the Poke Ball and returned to the capsule, now because Ash had over a party of six, he could only use that many, the other Poke Balls became miniature and became unusable, until the restriction was off.

Ash looked towards the small baby Pokémon and his own Pokémon that decided to stay behind and look after them.

"Alright guys, I expect you to do a good job in taking care of these little tyke's, when they do leave, I expect you guys to make your way down Mount. Silver, to the Pokémon centre down the base of the mountain and wait there." Ash said to them, he saw the Pokémon give their cries of confirmation and their nods of understanding, he then walked towards the small baby Pokémon of the mountain and gave them a quick rub on their heads, with them giving out pleasured cries of happiness.

"Alright guys, it's time for me to go. See you later." Ash said and gave a small wave to the Pokémon, he made sure to leave their Poke Balls with them, so they can carry them out when they are done.

With that said, he made his way out of his small little cave and made his way back to the summit, it was weird for him, he has become a small legend; 'The Legendary Trainer', he got this little moniker because people heard of the brave soul that was strong enough to climb to the top of Mount. Silver and managed to stay there for a long period of time, some people went as far as to challenge him, but that always ended in losses for them, they were just too inexperienced, sure there was one person who nearly defeated him, and that person being someone from Jhoto, who beat the Elite 4, but lost to Lance, something that was impressive in itself.

Ash unclipped a Poke Ball from his belt and chucked it up into the air. "Charizard, I choose you!" He shouted, the ball then erupted into a bright flash of light, and instantly the entire area heated up to near uncomfortable temperatures as Charizard was let out of its confines yet again.

Charizard is a draconic, bipedal Pokémon. It is primarily orange with a cream underside from the chest to the tip of its tail, which burns with a sizable flame. Charizard has a long neck, small blue eyes, raised nostrils, and two horn-like structures protruding from the back of its rectangular head. There are two fangs visible in the upper jaw when its mouth is closed. Two large wings with blue-green undersides sprout from its back, and a horn-like appendage juts out from the third joint of each wing. Charizard's arms are short and skinny compared to its robust belly, and each limb has three white claws. It has stocky legs and cream-colored soles under its feet.

Charizard let out an annoyed grunt towards Ash.

"Sorry big guy, I forgot that you were flying me." Ash said sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment.

Charizard let out a small flamethrower and directed it straight towards Ash, from experience learnt to dodge quickly.

"Yeah, yeah, so can you take me down to Saffron City?" Ash said as he dusted the snow off his clothes and fixed his hat that nearly came off in the sudden movement.

Charizard let out a small grunt and lowered itself a little so Ash could get on, Ash did so with ease, he performed a small jump and landed perfectly on Charizard's waiting back, he got himself comfortable and made sure that everything was secured, he didn't want anything to fall off during the flight, as it would be near impossible to find whatever he had dropped.

"Alright buddy. Fly!" Ash said rather dramatically as he held on tightly around Charizard's neck, it didn't injure the Pokémon, Ash was pretty sure that Charizard couldn't even feel the small pressure on his throat

ROAR

Charizard rocketed off the summit of the snowy mountain in an impressive burst of speed, leaving behind a small snow trail and a flash of orange, the small area of snow was knocked off the side of the summit, leaving behind very faint grey behind on the snow.

-PUFT-

After the flight from Charizard, which took a while, Ash allowed him to rest well in his Poke Ball as he made his way to the Headquarters of his new job.

Saffron City was one of his favorites when he went through Kanto, even if the experience was slightly ruined when he ran into the creepy Sabrina that wanted to turn everyone into dolls, other than that he loved the culture in the city, and he even wanted to live near the city when he settled down and had a family after he completed his dream, but now he wanted to travel to Alola and maybe settle down there, he heard many great things about the place.

He greeted the receptionists and went to the elevator and pressed the button that would lead to Scott's office.

As the elevator opened Ash was met with the sight of Scott doing some paperwork and typing on his computer, he never knew how someone can focus on two tasks that required a lot of concentration.

"Hello Scott." Ash greeted his boss, and the head of the Battle Frontier.

Looking up from his work, Scott saw that Ash Ketchum was there and waiting, with a small smile mixed with a smirk on his face.

"Ah, Ash, just the person I was waiting for. Please, take a seat." Scott motioned for Ash to have a seat at the other end of his desk.

"So... what was it that you wanted me for?" Ash asked leaning back in his chair, but still paying rapt attention to Scott, if one thing has changed over the time on Mount. Silver was the fact that Ash was able to become calm in situations but kept his childishness when he was able to show it, even his Pokémon were surprised with the sudden maturity, which he showed when some Pokémon wanted to leave and return to the wild.

"I just wanted to say that due to the help from the people in Pallet Town, the Battle Fortress facility is ahead of schedule, and is due to finish in 3 months, instead if the 6 months it should be at now." Scott said, much to the surprise of Ash, but he should have expected it, something big was happening to Pallet Town, they are not ones to take this without helping, just like Ash's mother's small restaurant, which the people of Pallet Town also helped build, and when something as big as a Battle Frontier facility is being built, it is surefire to bring a lot of media attention to the place.

"That's lovely to know, I guess my time in Alola will be cut short, especially when I am going to be there for the grand opening of the place." Ash said as he took one hand and placed it on his chin and begun to think about what he would do in Alola know when he has a shorter schedule than planned.

"Ash, while there may not be a league there, it still has many great places to visit, along with new Pokémon and people, I think you should take into consideration this." Scott said and slid a piece of paper in front of Ash.

Ash seeing the subtle hint and gesture of him reading that piece of paper did so, he leaned forward and grabbed the paper, being careful in not to tear it.

Dear Scott,

I heard from my cousin Samuel Oak, that you allow the Frontier Brains to travel around and teach people the wonders of Pokémon and how to adapt to other environments and how to train them, I was wondering if you would allow us at the Alola School to borrow one of your members for a week or two, the rent will be paid by us.

Sincerely,

Samson Oak

Ash blinked a few times when he read that last part. "I didn't know Professor Oak had a cousin." Ash stated and looked up to Scott, who gave a non-cholent shrug of his shoulders.

"So, who are you choosing to go for this?" Ash asked, still not catching onto the point as to why Scott gave him that piece of paper.

Sigh

"Ash, I want you to go over and do this, it just adds another reason for you to go to Alola." Scott said, finally breaking the news to Ash.

"Wait... you want me to be a teacher? Me?" Ash said, pointing to himself in surprise, he was never really a good teacher nor listener, so he just winged most of the things he did.

"Yes, you. I feel like if someone was closer to the age of the students then it might be easier, who knows, you might find it enjoyable." Scott said with a small smirk as he watched Ash squirm, he enjoyed doing a little teasing to his new subordinate.

"Fine." Ash relented after a small stare off session, it was weird how Scott could keep the same stare for a long period of time, and to be honest it freaked him out a little.

"Excellent. You might want to call your mother first, and maybe Professor Oak, see if he wants anything taken over to his cousin." Scott said before he went back to work on his computer and doing paperwork again.

"Only two years left, and they haven't even given the location of the tournament yet..." Scott mumbled to himself, not noticing Ash finally leave the room.

-PUFT-

After the... unexpected meeting and surprise, Ash did indeed call his mother to let her know of what is happening, when she found out she was happy, she was even more ecstatic to know her son was going to teach for a week or two, it will help him learn people skills. Delia let Ash go and her only advice to him was changing his underwear, and to remember to have proper hygiene now that he is older.

He did a quick visit to Professor Oak in Pallet Town after Ash called him, when he mentioned he was going to Alola and visit the trainer's school for a little teaching stop, Professor Oak told him to wait a little and then disappeared, then came back to Ash carrying a small egg incubator which held a small red egg with some orange splotches on it.

When Ash asked about why he needed to take this, Professor Oak just simply said it was a surprise until he got to the Alola region, before Ash left, he made sure to give Professor Oak the remaining Poke Balls and explained that some might be coming later and explained as to why there were fewer Pokémon now than before.

Ash carefully took the egg and held it carefully as he went from Professor Oaks, then towards his house to pack some belongings, mainly some changes of clothes, and some toiletries.

He even asked Pikachu if he wanted to come with him, for a more laid back journey, but to his mild disappointment, Pikachu declined and Ash could tell that he enjoyed being at home and at the ranch more now, which was quite seeable now since he got a little bit chubbier, maybe from all of the ketchup he has been eating/drinking.

Ash made his way to the airport in Viridian City, after taking a taxi ride, which didn't cost him that much because apparently the young woman who was driving was a massive fan of his and gave him a discount.

He waited a while before he was finally able to board his flight, which happened to be named the Alola Airline, he sat on the most comfortable seat, which was the window seat and was in the middle of the aircraft. He made sure to keep a safe hold of the incubator and had his luggage bag safely secured, which was a carry on because of the small size of the bag. He made sure to have his Poke Balls clipped to his belt for safe keeping.

As the flight took off, Ash made sure to carefully place the incubator down on the free spot next to him and put the seatbelt over it, making sure it wouldn't wiggle about to much in the flight.

"Alola, here I come." Ash said and looked out the plane window and seeing the Kanto region from the sky again, and admiring the region he grew up in.

END CHAPTER

Sorry if this chapter seemed rushed, I was running out of Ideas for this chapter, I will try to follow some Canon for the Alola Arc, but I need to keep up to date with the series aired, which I am quite far behind.

Question: Do you want any of the Alola girls in the Harem, you can choose.
