Pokémon – A Legend in the Making

Alright guys, I hoped you enjoyed that first chapter of this story, it might be a bit Cliché but oh well. With the characters and their dialogue, I made it, so some people have some special talents. Like Yellow and her healing ability and with Ash's one where he can calm the Pokémon down and they listen to him without fail.

Now, someone wanted me to create a list of who is in the Harem so far and who might be joining later, this will be at the bottom of the chapter, I'm not sure of how large I am going to make this Harem, so I will go with the flow until I think there is enough, so the Harem might become large.

This chapter won't have any main story progression, mainly more dialogue after the incident and what has happened throughout the region

Volume 1, Chapter 2

Last Time

"GRRRRRR" Dragonite formed a turquoise energy ball from its mouth and it was rapidly expanding, Dragonite then fires the ball at the opponent which happened to be Ash at the time.

Both of Ash's Poke Balls were shaking frantically as the pulse of turquoise energy made it its way closer to Ash.

BURST BURST

Ash's Poke Balls burst with blinding light as the pulse of energy came closer to the poor boy, the power so great that it was cratering the ground around it and was forming a massive dust cloud.

BOOM

Crash Crunch

As the smoke cleared from the arena, some of the braver onlookers who stayed even during the rampage were met with a gruesome yet amazing sight.

Ash was sprawled out on the floor unconscious with his arm being in a very weird angle and position and with blood dripping down his other arm and dripping down onto the floor, with a small indent on the wall showing that he did indeed have a big impact on the wall, in front of him were Ariados and Rapidash, all scratched up and wobbling but still standing in front of Ash protectively, it looked like that they took the brunt of the attack.

For the Dragonite it was now restrained in a purplish aura, then an Alakazam came floating down from the backroom to the field and restraining the Dragonite.

"Get your hands off me!" Was what the man said as he was completely held down by three big men in all black. One even got on his back and yanked the man's hands behind his back and put handcuffs on him.

When some of the professors made their way to Ash's body, both Pokémon were instantly put on guard.

"Aria!" The Ariados cried out and started gathering purple sludge between its mandibles

The Rapidash was more than protective as it spewed out weak embers from its mouth, trying its best to protect its temporary trainer.

"Easy Rapidash! We are going to help him." One of the male professors of Kobukan Academy said to the erratic equine Pokémon.

They saw that it wasn't working so one of the female nurses who was on sight basically begged it. "Please. If we don't do anything this young man could die... do you want that!?" The nurse basically yelled out, the equine Pokémon must have registered the death part because it calmed down and let them pass.

"Thank you." The nurse said gratefully that the Pokémon listened to her, even the Ariados stopped charging up the attack

The nurse rushed her way towards Ash with the other teachers following her, the nurse then placed her hand towards a certain point on Ash's neck and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Phew. He is still alive, just unconscious." The nurse breathed out a sigh of relief along with the other professors. The nurse then stood up and called for a stretcher from the medical staff at Kobukan Academy.

However, before she could turn around and discuss about his condition and how long he will miss out at Kobukan and discussing the Insurance benefits and what they had to give Ash and his family as a sorry for this incident, they saw that the Rapidash and Ariados now moved closer to Ash's prone form and layed beside him and over him protectively, shielding him from certain angles.

"I guess we found something that we could give Ash as a sorry." The only female professor spoke up as she watched the heartwarming scene between the Pokémon and injured trainer.

The female in question was a female in her mid 20's and had white hair, which she tied into a low pony tail which reaches her mid-back. She wears a navy-blue jumpsuit, with a whitish silver vest and low-heeled boots with a long, sky blue trench coat.

"I guess your correct Professor Blanche. Although we still need to pay back the family of this young lad, it was our fault for not giving a proper background check on Mr. Boyd." An elder and wise voice spoke out, it still held some masculinity, but that was not present in his sorrow filled voice.

Professor Blanche nodded her head in understanding and spoke out "Indeed. Blaine, we will cover for his medical costs."

Now

Pallet Town

As Delia was having a small afternoon celebration after sending Ash's special Pokémon that he received whilst he was in Kalos, helping Professor Sycamore researching Mega Evolution, although his Garchomp went in a frenzy, Ash was able to calm it down enough and remove the problem, which was the collar around its neck which forced it into its state, he was recognized as a hero in some of Kalos and someone who was reckless and stupid in another. That was when Professor Sycamore rewarded Ash with one of the Kalos starters, which he took after some persuasion.

She was enjoying her drink, a nice herbal tea that herself and Mr. Mime made just a while ago, she was also watching her favorite cooking show, she was busy taking notes down for a new dish that she wanted to try, but then the show cut-off, nearly making Delia scream in frustration, but that was when Breaking News in big bold letters appeared on the screen.

There was a petite woman with black hair and brown eyes sitting at a mahogany desk and with a few stacks of paper in her hands, as she tapped them down on the table to even them out to make it look neater and more presentable.

"We are sorry to interrupt your daily program." The news reporter said, she quickly adjusted her small glasses on her head and then continued. "It has been reported that one teenager has been seriously injured during the entrance exam for Kobukan Academy. It has been confirmed that the person responsible for the injury was a spy for Team Rocket. This unexpected event was a shock to many of the attendees for this event. The person who was injured was Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town, who the spy of Team Rocket was targeting personally, with the reasons being unknown." The news reporter said with her news voice active, when Delia heard the incident was at the entrance exam, she was already concerned that it involved her baby boy, it was her worst fears to when she confirmed who the person who was injured.

Delia was in a state of shock that she dropped her cup of tea and the small glass shattered on the wooden planks of the ground. Delia didn't care about the glass that had just smashed on the floor, she was too busy covering her mouth with her delicate hands and had tears streaming down her face and her honey brown eyes were filled with concern as she continued to watch the news program.

"It has been revealed that the staff at Kobukan Academy will pay for the medical bills for Ash Ketchum and they are willing to pay his family lots of money as an apology for this unforeseen consequence of their choosing system." The news reporter said before she slid the first paper to the back of the stack then cleared her throat and continued reading off the second page, while still looking up at the camera. "Our crew was able to catch up with Blaine, one of the Professors at Kobukan Academy and the Cinnabar Island Gym Leader, along with other attendees who witnessed this horrifying event. Take a lo-." The news reporter was cut off when Delia turned the Television off and proceeded to cry her heart out, she was so close to losing her baby boy! She didn't care that he was 15, he was still her baby boy, and nothing will change that.

"That blasted Team Rocket... how dare they! What did my son ever do to you!" Delia cried out in hysteria as she buried her face in her hands and continued to sob.

Knock Knock Knock

After a couple of minutes sobbing about what happened to her baby boy, she got up and went towards her front door after it had been knocked, it sounded frantic, it was probably Professor Oak.

As the distraught mother opened the door she was met with an elderly man, who looked much older than Professor Oak, and he was wearing a Hawaiian V-neck T-shirt and some shorts, the person beside him was someone who Delia was familiar with, Professor Oak in his lab attire and it looked like he was sweating and breathing heavily.

"Hello, Professor Oak and Blaine." Delia said respectfully and somewhat quietly, trying her hardest to not cry in front of the two elderly men.

"Hello, Delia." Blaine said with a small nod of his head.

"I-it's great... to... see you to." Professor Oak said between haggard breathes.

"Please... come in, but just mind the glass on the floor." Delia said softly, she then got out of the door way and made a motion with her hand, allowing them in.

"Thank you." Blaine said and did a small nod and entered the house, after taking off his shoes first, same with Professor Oak, Delia was a little bit of a clean freak.

When the distraught mother, Professor Oak and Blaine made it to the living room, they were careful in order to avoid getting in Mr. Mimes way as it was busy cleaning up the broken glass from the floor.

As they made themselves comfortable on the couch, it was a rather awkward silence as they sat there and not saying anything or doing anything, except for the fidgeting of Delia's hands.

Blaine decided to break the ice in the room. "Ms. Ketchum, I am dearly sorry for this accident, it was our fault for not double checking for anything suspicious about the people we hired. On behalf of Kobukan Academy, we offer you our humblest apologies. We have already paid for the medical bills for your son, and we have decided for you guys to get a refund of 40% of the schools fees." Blaine said as he looked over towards Delia, his hands intertwined, as his normally jovial face held nothing but sadness and seriousness for the situation at hand.

Delia took a deep breath, she was at least happy that they decided to refund nearly half of the fees for the school, which were awfully expensive to begin with, she wasn't happy that they weren't competent enough to double check everything about their employee's.

"Thank you." Delia said softly as she looked towards Blaine and gave a small smile, before looking down on the ground again, trying not to shed her tears.

"We, on behalf of Kobukan Academy have also decided that we will pay fully for any and all insurance, which should be taken care of now, by our financial advisor. So, you don't have to worry about anything, we have also given your son two of the Pokémon that he used from the exam, as they seemed to be the closest to him in the 30 minutes they knew him, don't worry about him missing out on work, we will send everything he needs to his room for later use." Blaine said, he paused a bit at the end to let this all sink in to the distraught mother, Blaine saw her calm down a little bit and decided to stay one more thing towards Delia. "Don't worry about your son, we will take care of him, we have the best doctors and nurses working on his injuries as we speak. If you decide to sue us even after all of this, we won't hold it against you and will take full responsibility." Blaine finished as he got up and walked towards Delia and knelt to give her a reassuring hug, before he turned to Professor Oak, and he saw that he gave him a small nod with a small smile.

"I'll have to have a meeting with everyone later this week, make sure to mention that to everyone, Blaine." Professor Oak said seriously, going into Headmaster mode, he needed to re-establish the rules and make sure people are doing their jobs correctly at this facility to avoid more incidents like this.

"Of course, once again, I am sorry for all of this. Have a good day." Blaine said as he gave a respectful bow and left the room and started to leave the house.

As soon as Blaine left, Professor Oak left his headmaster mode and went into a more tired posture, he went over to Delia's spot as she was still looking down on the ground from everything that has happened recently.

He sat down right beside her and pulled her into a tight hug. "It's alright, let it all out." He whispered soothingly, Delia instantly turned into the hug and buried her face in his chest as she let loose her tears and all her sobs, all the while Professor Oak was rubbing soothing circles on her back.

-PALITM-

It has been a few days since the Kobukan's Entrance Examination, and a few days of rumors and stories of how Kobukan Academy is not safe for children, especially after that the news bulletin had aired all throughout Kanto with the incident involving a young teenager from Pallet Town.

However, it was too the media attention that brought many lawsuit attempts at Kobukan, but none were by Delia, many people were scared that this incident might happen again, and it was this paranoia that led to this great debacle in the first place, but many of the cases were indeed failed, mainly because they didn't have sufficient evidence against these claims and even Delia, the very mother of the child who had the incident, stood for Kobukan and against the many lawsuits, saying it was a lapse in judgement and that it was an accident.

Although Kobukan Academy has lost some of its greatness since the incident a few days ago, it didn't stop people who were already there from leaving, mainly because they liked it there, being one of the best schools in the world and one of the most prestigious ones to boot.

Many of Ash's friends/acquaintances made sure to visit him in the hospital section of the Academy Campus, since the school year just started, they had more time off and were able to get use to the environment, before it got nitty gritty in the semester.

They found out that Ash was put into a coma, one that could last for a couple of days, all the way to a couple of months; this was mainly due to the extensive damage he received internally, even though the Pokémon he used protected him, he still was in the blast radius and got launched into a solid concrete wall at high velocity.

The nurses and doctors all worked overtime and worked around the clock on Ash to keep him alive and start fixing his body, small steps at a time, even the Chansey's and other Pokémon that knew Heal Pulse were being used on Ash, mainly to keep the pain away and slowly heal his body internally while the doctors and nurses fixed the outside of his body which was less damaged but still needed fixing.

With Ash's body slowly healing and getting in much better condition, they decided to lay off some of the workers working on him but making sure to keep a close eye on him, in case anything goes wrong or improves miraculously.

Blaine aslo kept his promise to Delia, he personally made sure that copies of the work that Ash missed out on were sent to his dorm, and made sure to give him a roommate that he knew, which happened to be Jimmy, however, some of the work was done by classmates, because they felt pity for Ash and decided to help him out a bit, although this was done by namely females.

All in all, it was a very... weird start to the year for some people for Kobukan Academy.
