Disjointed thoughts and ideas raced through Wally's mind in a panicked frenzy. He was trying to come up with the perfect place to hide from Batman, which he was beginning to realize, was more than likely impossible.

Any where on the tower was far too obvious, and any where in Central City was just as bad.

In fact, Wally thought, Bruce could probably find me anywhere in the world. I mean, he knows who I really am.

Hope slowly draining from him Wally skidded to a stop on a transporter and glared up at Mr. Terrific impatiently.

"Aren't you supposed to be in a meeting?" the latter hero asked, somewhat confused.

"Bit of a…um, emergency," Wally sputtered the lame excuse quickly. "So let's hurry this up. Central City, please." Terrific eyed Flash skeptically.

Flash and Green Arrow's meeting with the council was no secret. Each and every member of the league knew about that latest prank. The terrible two, as they had become to be called, were obviously in for some punishment. So, naturally, Terrific was wondering what the red clad hero was doing on the control deck.

After a few seconds Wally couldn't wait for Terrific any more. He sped to the control panel, typed in his user code and was being transported all before Mr. Terrific could even open his mouth to utter the word "wait".

Batman entered the control room mere moments later to find the hero on duty staring blankly at the transporters.

"Flash just left I'm guessing," the Dark Knight growled, startling the other leaguer.

"Uh, yeah, he did. Went to Central City I think," Terrific replied, suddenly serious and focused again.

Batman responded in no way except as to leave the control room. Terrific tried not to be irritated by the rude departure, it was Batman after all.

On earth Flash was currently in his apartment worrying over what to do. He had changed out of his costume and tucked his comm. Link in the drawer with his extra costumes.

It wasn't enough though.

He needed to leave. Needed to go somewhere Batman would never have a chance to find him.

Wally finally made a decision on where to go and was halfway down the street when a thought hit him.

Why should I even hide? I mean it's just Batman right?

And then Wally's moment of temporary insanity passed. He continued on to Wayne Manor.

Batman would never look there…or, would he? What if he guessed that Wally would try to hide in some really obvious and potentially stupid place like the Bat Cave?

The red-head frowned and stopped, deciding the Bat Cave was probably a really bad idea.

Instead he headed towards Kansas, hoping maybe he could hide out at Mr. and Mrs. Kent's house.

Yeah. That might work.

Wally really liked it there. Mrs. Kent was a great cook.

But as before, the speedster decided that Batman would think about that place too. In fact, about halfway to the 19th leaguer's house Wally realized that hiding out with anyone in the League was just as dangerous as hiding out in the tower itself.

Wally growled at his stupidity. He should have thought of that sooner. Then again his thoughts had been kind of preoccupied imagining what Bats would do if he ever did find him.

Wally heard the beginning of a clock chime and happened to glance up at the time.

Which brought him to another halting stop.

Nine O'clock?

"Damn! I have to work at nine thirty," Wally muttered. He stood, chewing his bottom lip and thinking for a moment before a suddenly brilliant idea struck him.

Wally grinned.

If he was busy working at the Central City Police Department then Batman couldn't bug him. He turned and ran back towards his hometown.

The redheaded hero walked into his office happily. It would be at least five o'clock before he had to deal with grumpy Bruce again.

Or so he thought.

"Wally."

The hero spun quickly around only to find himself staring at Batman, who it turned out, had been waiting for Wally here…the whole time.

"We never finished our discussion about your latest antics up in the Watchtower," Bruce stated quietly and Wally just stared. "Why don't you have a seat?" the Dark Knight suggested with a smirk.

A/N: Ok well, first off if there are any mistakes i apologize, i was sort of tired when editing. Secondly I know I haven't said what Flash and Arrow have done yet, but that's coming, I promise. Any way, I hope you like it. Please review!! )
