"Jeez. I can't believe I stayed open for that long," Elsa complained as she turned the lights to her apartment on, "By myself that is. Never again am I staying open that long."
Elsa wiped down her glasses with her shirt and fixed herself a leftover frozen pizza, "I shouldn't stay up too late. I need to get up early to open up Blowout. For that,"
Melted cheese fell out of her mouth, as thoughts of the redhead came rushing through her mind, "I must sleep. I need to get up early to open the store. For," Elsa stubbed her toe against a chair, and the yelp of pain that woke up her neighbor was partly because of that, but also because, "I don't even know her name! Ok, what was it? Her boyfriend should have said it. Oh what did he say!?"
Elsa smacked herself in the face, "Why am I so impatient! Why couldn't I have just known her name!?" she cried to herself as she fell on her bed, "It doesn't matter. I'm seeing her tomorrow. There, I'll learn her name. I should really be getting to sleep though."
Elsa pulled the blanket to her shoulders, letting herself fall asleep.
She woke up when the alarm on her phone started blaring Chemical Plant Zone's theme at six-thirty. She slammed her fingers on the phone's touch screen and rubbed her eyes.
Elsa got out of her bed and ate the rest of her leftover pizza for breakfast while she opened her 3DS and checked her village in New Leaf, "Oh Tom Nook, look at this, I finally paid off my home! What do you think of that?" Elsa saw the tanuki offering her to expand her house, "I, can't refuse," Elsa used the stylus to put herself into another mortage.
She stretched her arms and closed her 3DS. Elsa walked into her apartment's bathroom and took a short shower.
As she was drying herself off she looked at the clock with the Shinra Electric Power Company splashed on it, "It's seven-fifteen. I need to get dressed."
Elsa went to her dresser and slipped on a t-shirt with Strider Hiryu on it and a pair of blue jeans. She grabbed a jacked, zipping it up before walking out of her apartment and locking it behind her.
Elsa breathed and saw her breath, as she walked on the sidewalk. After walking for ten minutes and through a parking lot, she used her keys to open her store.
"My home away from home," Elsa breathed in the air in the store, "Still smells awesome. I need to set up the shop."
Elsa locked the door behind her and turned on the lights to Blowout Games. She walked around the store, setting it up for business. She eyed the demo consoles.
"Which game should I let run today?" Elsa looked at Ecco the Dolphin, "I'm gonna make things atmospheric!" She slammed the cartridge into the Genesis and pressed the power button, but the light didn't turn on, "Oh for god's sake! Why don't you ever work, you piece of shit! The cord is in here! Why do I have to jiggle it around every time I want to play it?!" she jiggled the cord, blew the cartridge, and tried turning it on again, "There. It works! Fuck, you Sega!" Elsa raised her arms in victory.
"Um, excuse me? Are you open?" hearing her voice made her knees buckle and fall over.
Elsa got up and walked to the door and unlocked it for the redhead, "Sorry you had to see that. And, you're early. I mean, I'm happy that you came earlier but I don't open for another ten minutes."
The redhead moved back, "Oh. Should I wait out here until you open?"
"No, um. You can get an exclusive look at the store before it opens, if you want," Elsa opened the door for the redhead.
"Oh sure," she walked through the door and looked at the walls of games, "Whoa! You have, so many games in here!"
"Yeah. Around twelve hundred games on display, it's uh pretty cool,"
"And you work here?!"
"Well, I'm the manager of Blowout Games so-
"WAIT! The manager? You run this place!?"
"Yeah. Some guy I know owns the business but I run it for him," Elsa smiled at her, "So weird question, I never got your name."
The redhead blushed, "Oh, right. Um, my name is Anna. Anna Andreassen."
"N-n-Norwegian, right?"
"Yeah. My mother came from a long line of Norwegian fathers. After my father died I took her name,"
"Oh, I'm sorry,"
"Don't be. I came here for a video game, not to talk about my life story. That's what you brought me here for right? A video game? I mean, I already got two last night, so I don't think I need another one,"
Elsa smiled, "Nah. It's always good to have more. Now besides your Xbox, what else do you have?"
Anna pulled a Gameboy from her purse, "I've had this since I was a kid. But, I'm not sure if it still works. And I sorta lost all of my games."
Elsa gave Anna a pat on the back, "How did you lose them?"
"We had to find a way to get my boyfriend the Xbox. So we had to sell them. Even my copy of. Saphire! Hatchan the Ludicolo! I'll remember you!" Anna shouted into the ceiling.
"Wait, why do you remember your Ludicolo?"
"Um. This kid tricked me to trading my Torchic for a Lotad when I first played the game. He was an asshole, but Hatchan was awesome. He took out the last couple of gym leaders without a sweat," Anna smiled looking at the wall of NES games, "I loved playing Pokemon."
"Me too. I try to play Pokemon every now and then. I've been having fun with X and Y. Though I've kinda stopped that adventure when Alpha Ruby came out," Elsa smiled as she tested the Gameboy, "It works. Now what game would you like to take home with you today? We got a few Pokemon games today."
"Thanks, but I want to take home a little more Sonic and wait. Oh my god, is that," Anna looked through the display window for the handheld games, "Is that Tactic Ogres?! How much is it?! And you have! Oh my gosh, I always wanted to try Sonic Advance 3!"
"Ok, ok. Calm down, Anna. Those two come out to around uh. Twenty-nine dollars," Elsa charged the two games.
"Awesome, I brought fifty dollars just in case I wanted to buy anything!" Anna laid the bill on the counter and Elsa made change for it.
Well, I appreciate you doing busines with Blowout Games. Is there," Elsa took deep breath, "Anything else I can help you with?"
"No. Sorry, I have to go to work. But I'll be sure to talk to you tomorrow. I'm sorry I can't stay for long, I'll come by tomorrow, same time right?"
"Uh, sure. Same time same place. I'll be here,"
"Ok!" Anna gave her a hug, "You're the nicest person I've met in a long while," Anna whispered in her ear.
Elsa blushed as she heard those words rattle in her ear, "Ok see ya, game store lady!"
Anna walked out of the game store, leaving Elsa alone, "She. She's amazing."
A/N So, a bit of an awkward moment here, but I updated this quicker than an Australian and a vegetable usually do. Eheheh. Yeah, you guys are wondering, sombrero?! You said no updates all of March! TheFrozenCrank will probably yell at me for this, but I was originally intending to devote all of March to working on my RWBY and Golden Sun crossover but I wanted to take a break from that and I realized, it's better for me to write different stuff at different times instead of focusing everything on a single project. So, you'll expect updates the way I was doing things before I changed to writing to just Psynergy and Semblence. Starting with this fic, then Red Flowers Bloom, and Ghost Amon. And then back to PAS.
And I'm going to explain a joke. The reason she's excited for Tactics Ogre is because Peanut Butter Gamer put that on one of his favorite games ever, and if you read my earlier stuff, PBG is Elsa and Anna's father. The moral of the story is read Princess Butter Gamer.
Anyways thanks again for waiting for the next update. But as Elsanna fans, we're used to waiting for updates.
