The students stared at this small hobbit as Gandalf made his way over to him. "Students I would like to introduce Master Peregin Took, who will be your new classmate, friend and also like a younger brother to you as well I hope."
Peregin shifted from side to side, he was about 13 years old with curly red/brown locks of hair down to his shoulders. "I would prefer it if you could please call me Pippin, I hate the name Peregin as it sounds so formal."
The group began to walk back to their home back in Isengard often glancing at Pippin as if he were an Orc. "This is the new, powerful warrior who is to be the key in our successes, ooo I'm so scared." Whispered Legolas to Aragon who chuckled loud enough for Pippin's sharp ears to hear. A look of sadness crept over his face as he lowered his head and quickened his pace.
As they approached Isengard Gimli saw a tear drip down Pippin's face and felt a small twinge of guiltiness as he realised how bad the young hobbit must be feeling. "Hey kid, are you alright?" he asked placing a hand on the child's shoulder. Pippin shook his hand off and replied "I know how you all feel about me being here, how can one so small, be so powerful." Pippin ran off ahead making Gimli feel even worse.
Entering Isengard must have made Pippin feel even smaller as he began to shake like a leaf in the wind. Gandalf held the hobbit close to him and whispered something in his ear. This seemed to help as Pippin eyes lit up and he ran towards what was believed to be the kitchen.
Gandalf turned to face his other students with a look in his eye the three had never experienced before and by the end they would wish they never had. "I am extremely disappointed in you." He began "This young hobbit shows a great deal of potential and do you know WHY?" All three of the students shook their heads. "Because his heart is pure, he is as innocent as a flower and as carefree as a bird. He also posses a certain trinket known as the emerald of Lothlorien which means he is the one to defeat all evil, you three are considered to be merely sidekicks compared to the power which grows inside of him."
Seeing that all three had practically absorbed his words, Gandalf finished off his slight lecture telling them that Pippin was unaware of this power and that they are forbidden to mention it to him. At that particular moment Pippin ran through the doorway holding about ten apples and three bags of mushrooms, and he began to wonder why the three elder students were staring at him not with a glare on their faces but a smile that only brothers could possibly give. Pippin's face lit up and he returned the smile ten times bigger than the originals.
