Episode 2: Let The Games Begin

'Last time on Reality Campers!' Chris begins the show, stood in the middle of camp. 'We met the twenty four campers who will be competing in the show.' The twenty four are seen on the field. 'We then split them into two teams; The Deadly Dogs' the dogs are seen with their flag 'and The Crazy Cats' the cats are seen with their flag. 'They then raced their way to camp, both teams experienced problems' the dogs are seen pulling Ashton out of the hole, followed by the cats at the top of the cliff 'but the dogs came through after a lucky guess from Ashton and won the challenge' the dogs are seen cheering. 'This left the cats without an advantage in today's challenge and forced to sleep in tents for the night' the cats are seen setting up their tents. 'Will the dogs make the most of their advantage? Will Sigurd manage to prove he is a team player? And who will be the first camper to be kicked off the show? Find out here on Reality Campers!'

(Cue Intro)

The Deadly Dogs are seen fast asleep in their cabin as the camera pans over the various sleeping campers. It then cuts to show the Crazy Cats all sat outside their tents fully dressed and looking shattered.

'Come on guys.' Stephanie speaks up. 'We don't have to take our lack of sleep as a bad thing.'

'We don't?' Connie asks.

'Of course not!' The blue haired girl cheerily says. 'This is the perfect opportunity for some team building. The tighter we are as a unit, the better we perform.'

'Agreed!' Sigurd cheers, standing up. 'This builds character. It should be viewed as an advantage!'

'I think I'd prefer the other team's advantage.' Saph moans.

'But we don't know what that advantage is.' Sigurd argues.

'Yeah.' Saph agrees. 'But I think I would rather take that risk.'

'You know what? They're right!' Garvin suddenly says.

'They are?' Connie asks.

'Yeah, they are, and I have the perfect bonding exercise!' He says with a smirk.

'Great! What is it?' Stephanie eagerly asks.

'We get back at the dogs for winning and prank them!' Garvin announces.

'We're not doing that.' Stephanie says, rolling her eyes.

'Why not?' Lee asks. 'I think we should.' He adds whilst standing up.

'Ooh, I wanna do it too!' Maria says as she stands to join the two boys.

'Anyone else want to help us prank them?' The bad boy asks the group.

'I might as well.' Luke shrugs as he bounces up on the spot.

'I'm in!' Trina cheers with a glint in her eye. The five teens begin to leave the group before Garvin turns around.

'Is no one else coming?' He questions the rest of his team. The remaining seven look around awkwardly as no one moves. 'Fine then, we'll just do it alone then.' Garvin smirks as he turns back around to face the other four. 'First thing's first. We need to go to the kitchen.'

[In the mess hall kitchen]

'This place is pretty cruddy.' Lee states as the five teens sneak inside.

'Okay. We need anything that'll make a mess or reeks like hell.' Garvin whispers. They split up and Garvin finds a strange brown slop in a bowl. He reaches for it when a cleaver lands just in front of his hand. He yells and looks up to find a large black man with an apron on. The other four turn and freeze as they see him.

'W-who are you?!' Garvin nervously asks.

'I'm the camp chef, Chef Hatchett, and I don't appreciate having some punks in my kitchen!' The tall man bellows with a glare.

'Right.' Trina says. 'Well, we were just going anyway.'

'Yeah, so just calm down big dude.' Luke says.

'What did you just call me?!' Chef shouts at the blond boy.

'N-nothing!' Luke cowers as Maria screams and runs out of the kitchen, quickly followed by the others.

'This is gonna be a long summer.' Chef sighs.

[In front of the tents]

'I went to the mall and bought some lip gloss.' Candy says.

'Ugh, that's not how the game works.' Stephanie complains to the blonde girl.

'It isn't?' Candy looks at her team confused.

'You're supposed to say everything that everyone else said and then add your own thing.' Rosalyn explains.

'But I wouldn't buy the things the others said. I would buy lipgloss.' Candy explains.

'Just forget it.' Stephanie sighs. 'She'll never understand it.' She says. Garvin's group then arrive, all panting a little. 'What happened to you guys?'

'Yeah, you look like you've seen a ghost.' Rosalyn says with concern.

'Try the camp chef.' Lee says.

'Oh come on.' Saph chuckles. 'I'm sure the chef isn't that bad.'

'But he is!' Trina yells. 'The guy's a psycho!'

'Yeah, he nearly cut off Garvin's hand!' Exclaims Maria.

'Seriously?' Damon asks, looking shocked and a little scared.

'Yeah, but I wasn't scared.' Garvin says with pride, causing a few of the girls to roll their eyes.

Suddenly an air horn blows across the camp speakers causing the cats to jump and startling the dogs awake.

'Attention campers! This is your wake up call!' Explains Chris. 'You have half an hour and then you need to be in the mess hall for breakfast!'

'Finally, I'm starving.' Saph says as the dogs begin to emerge from their cabin.

'How long have you guys been awake?' Collin asks, rubbing his eyes.

'About an hour.' Connie casually says, earning a look of disbelief from the handsome boy. 'What's worse is that we only had about three hours of sleep in those uncomfortable things.'

[In the mess hall]

The two teams are sat along two long tables with plates of the brown slop from Chef's kitchen in front of them.

'Ugh, what is this?' Bella asks, prodding the slop with her fork.

'I dunno, eggs?' Chef calls from the kitchen.

'I don't think I've seen brown eggs before.' Dani points out.

'Well, you have now.' Chef says as he opens the door to the kitchen gritting his teeth.

'You know, it isn't that bad.' Luke says before swallowing a mouthful. 'A little chewy, though.'

The other teens stare it him before starting to begrudgingly eat their way through their own plates. As they do this, Chris arrives.

'Ah, I see you are all enjoying your breakfast.' The raven haired man says with a smile.

'Talk about an understatement.' Casimir mutters.

'Well, whilst you're all here, I might as well talk about confessions.' Chris continues.

'Confessions?' Damon asks. 'No thanks, I'm not religious.'

'Not that kind.' Chris replies. 'The kind of confession you do on a reality show. You know, you sit in a chair and share your thoughts with the viewers.'

'Oh, yay. That sounds fun!' Iris cheers. 'Where can we do it?'

'In the confessional booth. Also known as the outhouse just behind the cabins.' Chris smirks.

*Confessionals*

(Dani)

Dani: Okay, I'm starting to question why I decided to come on this show. I might just quit before I end up embarrassing myself.

(Dawn)

Dawn: (looks around) This thing is actually really disgusting.

(Iris)

Iris: This is so much fun! Everything here has such a cute rustic feel about it. You know?

(Lee)

Lee: I really don't know what to think about this show, so far. I mean I have hardly slept or eaten and I am yet to really make any friends. Not to mention the chef is a psycho with no actual kitchen skills.

(Cyel)

Cyel: The sooner today's challenge starts, the sooner my team can use our advantage and win. Then I will be one step closer to victory.

(Connie)

Connie: I am yet to see anyone I can sign. Oh well, it is only day two. I'm sure, sooner or later, someone will showcase a talent I can exploit. Uh, I mean help them share with the World. Hehehe.

*End Confessionals*

[At the camp fire]

The Deadly Dogs are stood on the left whilst the Crazy Cats stand on the right. Both teams are facing Chris, who is stood in front of the fire pit.

'Now then.' The host begins. 'Today's challenge is a summer camp classic, the camp games! The two teams will compete in five sporty events, the team that wins the most events wins the challenge, whilst the losing team send someone home.'

'So, what's our advantage?' Nina asks.

'You guys get to choose who does each event. They are organised so that everyone takes part and can only do one event.' Chris states, before turning to the other team. 'You guys will have random members put forward for each event.'

'Awesome!' Collin cheers. 'So what are the events?'

'Glad you asked.' Chris says. 'The first event is a game of three on three volleyball. Event number two is a pairs rock climbing challenge. The third event is pairs badminton. The fourth is a canoe race and, finally, the fifth is a three man relay.'

*Confessional*

(Jeremy)

Jeremy: What an odd group of events. I mean, rock climbing followed by badminton?

*End Confessional*

[At the lake beach]

The Deadly Dogs are in a group meeting.

'So who wants to do volley ball?' Nina asks her team.

'I will!' Iris announces. 'And so will Bella.'

'I will?' The other twin asks.

'Of course.' The cheery girl says. 'We make a great team.'

'Great, so who else wants to do it?' Armando asks. 'Ashton?'

'No way, sorry guys, but my ankle isn't much better. I think I am better off with canoeing.' Ashton replies.

'Look.' Dawn interrupts. 'We need someone strong to balance out the twins. So that leaves us with either Jeremy or Casimir.' The team look surprised by her outburst. 'What?'

'Fine. I'll do it.' Casimir sighs.

'So, are both teams ready?' Chris asks, beckoning the two teams to him. 'Alright then. Dogs, who is taking part in the volley ball challenge for your team?'

'Well, Chris, we have decided it should be myself, Bella and Casimir.' Iris says.

'Awesome.' Chris says as the trio step forward towards a makeshift volleyball court on the beach. He then pulls out a walkie-talkie. 'Yo Chef.' He speaks into the device. 'Which members of the Crazy Cats has the randomiser picked.'

'The randomiser has picked...' Chef begins, his voice sounding muffled through the walkie-talkie. 'Candy, Garvin and Stephanie.'

'What?! I have to play volleyball?' Garvin complains.

'Yay! I love volleyball!' Candy cheers whilst the group make their way to the other end of the volleyball court.

'Okay team.' Stephanie says as the three teens form a huddle. 'Candy, we'll keep the ball up and pass it forwards. Which means, Garvin, you have to spike it.' The two nod in agreement.

Meanwhile the dogs' representatives are also in a huddle.

'Listen up guys.' Bella says. 'They're bound to make the most of Garvin, so we'll do the same with you.' She points at Casimir. 'We need you up at the front and ready to spike. But Garvin'll be doing the same. That means you need to be ready to block, Casimir.'

'Got it.' Casimir nods.

The two teams ready themselves as Chris pulls out the ball.

'The Deadly Dogs won the last challenge so they get to serve first.' Chris says, he then tosses the ball to Iris. 'The first team to reach seven points wins, the rules are the same as any normal game of volleyball. Serve whenever you're ready.'

Iris takes a deep breath and serves. The ball makes its way towards Candy who manages to hit it forwards, Stephanie does the same and Garvin goes straight in for a spike. Casimir fails to block it and neither twin could reach it, earning the cats the first point.

Stephanie takes hold of the ball and serves, a short rally begins but Iris ends up knocking the ball out of the court, giving the cats their second point.

'Yay, another point for us!' Candy cheers.

'Okay guys, let's not get cocky. We need to stay focused.' Says Stephanie.

Stephanie serves the ball again and another rally begins. Stephanie sets up Garvin for a perfect spike, however Casimir manages to block it and the ball falls back onto the cats' court.

The dogs manage to earn a further three points until Casimir accidentally hits the ball out of court. Making the score 4 - 3 to the dogs. The dogs go on to earn another two points.

'Come on guys!' Stephanie yells. 'They only need one more point to win! Focus Garvin!'

'Well it isn't my fault that you guys aren't hitting it high enough for me to spike.' Garvin complains.

Bella serves the ball and Candy hits high towards Stephanie. The blue haired girl smirks as she jumps up and smashes the ball into the far corner of the dogs' court and gains a point for her team. Stephanie proudly catches the ball and takes it to the end to serve.

A rally begins and Garvin seizes the opportunity to spike the ball. However, Casimir jumps up to block it and Garvin's anger towards Stephanie caused him to smash the ball hard into Casimir's face.

'Whoa, whoa, whoa!' Chris shouts. 'That was majorly unsportsmanlike, dude. The point goes to the dogs. Which means the Deadly Dogs win the first event!'

The Deadly Dogs cheer whilst the Crazy Cats all glare at Garvin.

*Confessionals*

(Garvin)

Garvin: Hey, I couldn't help it. That Stephanie is so annoying! Not to mention Casimir kind of deserved it.

(Casimir)

Casimir: (Holding an ice pack to his face) Haha, that was hilarious. Not only did I beat Garvin, but his whole team hates him.

*End Confessionals*

[At the cliff]

'Really?' Saph asks. 'The rock climbing challenge is back here? Here's hoping Sigurd is chosen for it.'

'Yes.' Sigurd says. 'The wall was easy enough climbing down. I'm sure climbing up won't be much different.'

'So, dogs, who is doing the rock climbing?' Chris asks.

'I will.' Jeremy simply says, taking a step forward.

'Well don't look at me.' Dawn says. 'I suck at physical challenges.'

'But they're all physical challenges.' Dani says.

'Exactly.' Bella agrees. 'You might as well get it over with now. Besides Jeremy is strong enough to make up for it.'

'Ugh. Fine.' Dawn reluctantly agrees.

*Confessional*

(Dawn)

Dawn: (Sighs) I have a bad feeling about this.

*End Confessional*

'Great.' Chris says, he then turns on his walkie talkie. 'So Chef, who else is doing this event?'

'Scaling the wall for the Crazy Cats will be Rosalyn and Sigurd.' Chef says.

'Yes! We shall win with ease!' Sigurd proudly announces.

'Talk about lucky.' Rosalyn adds.

The two duos are tethered together, harnessed and given helmets in no time.

'So this rope is definitely going to keep us safe?' Rosalyn asks.

'Yes. Why'd you ask?' The host asks.

'It's probably because the ropes are really flimsy, Chris.' Jeremy explains and Rosalyn nods.

'No worries. I do not need a rope.' Sigurd proudly states.

'See, Sigurd has the right attitude.' Chris says, pulling out a starting gun. 'Now then, on your marks.' The pairs position themselves at the foot of the cliff. 'Get set.' The guys grab on to the wall. 'Go!'

The two pairs begin scaling the wall. It doesn't take long before Sigurd and Rosalyn take the lead.

'Hey, you mind slowing down a little?' Rosalyn asks, breathing pretty heavily.

'Fine.' Sigurd sighs.

'Guys!' Stephanie yells to them. 'They're catching up! Move it!'

'Sorry.' Sigurd says to Rosalyn.

'Wha-' The British girl begins to say before Sigurd speeds up and has her dangling, hitting the rocks below him. The duo quickly gaining their massive lead.

*Confessional*

(Bella)

Bella: Now if our team loses, Dawn will be to blame and we'll lose a weakling from the team.

*End Confessional*

'Do what they're doing!' Cyel calls to Jeremy and Dawn. They look at the other pair and see their method.

'Are you going to be okay with that?' Jeremy asks the weedy girl.

'I guess, if that is our best shot.' Dawn sighs and pushes off the wall. Jeremy begins storming up the wall after Sigurd. He begins to catch up, when Dawn's right arm gets stuck in a crack. 'Ahhhh! Stop!' She screams.

'What happened?' Jeremy asks.

'My arm is stuck! I think I heard it snap. Ahhhh! It hurts so much!'

'Okay. Just calm down.' Jeremy reassuringly says as he slowly pulls her arm free.

'The Crazy Cats win!' Chris suddenly shouts as the other pair make it to the top, Rosalyn collapsing as they do. 'We'll pull you guys down now and get Dawn to the infirmary tent.'

*Confessional*

(Rosalyn)

Rosalyn: Ow, my head! I think I might have a concussion. (Gags)

*End Confessional*

[En route to camp]

'You were lucky she got her arm stuck.' Stephanie says to Sigurd. 'There is no way you tried your hardest.' She adds. Sigurd looks down at her, rolls his eyes and then walks on ahead.

*Confessional*

(Sigurd)

Sigurd: No, I didn't try my hardest. Because I didn't need to.

*End Confessional*

'So who wants to play badminton?' Iris asks her team whilst walking down the path.

'I will, it probably requires the least strength.' Nina says.

'Yeah, I don't really want to try canoeing or do a relay.' Dani reasons. 'So I'll do it too.'

[At the camp]

Chef is stood waiting as the group emerge from the woods.

'So which of you hurt themselves?' Chef asks.

'Uh, me.' Dawn quietly says, wincing in pain.

'Okay, come with me.' He begins to lead her away. 'Oh and the randomiser chose Damon and Lee to play badminton.' The two boys look at each other and shrug.

'Okay guys, don't screw this up.' Stephanie says to the two brunets.

'Wow, great pep talk.' Lee mutters sarcastically.

'And Deadly Dogs, who will represent your team?' Chris asks.

'We will.' Nina and Dani say.

'Great, well follow me.' Chris says, leading the teens to the beach.

'Why are we back here?' Damon asks as they arrive.

'Because there is a court and a net here. Perfect for badminton!' Chris explains.

'But the terrain is all wrong.' Nina states.

'Plus I'm pretty sure badminton and volleyball courts are different.' Damon adds.

'Look, we're on a budget okay.' Chris complains. 'So just pick up a racket from the floor and head to your side of the court. Oh and since the cars won the last event, they get to serve first.' Chris says as he throws a shuttlecock to Lee. 'First team to eleven wins!'

'Do you want to serve?' Lee asks the shorter boy.

'Uh, no thanks. I think we're better off with you serving.' Damon replies.

'Okay.' Lee shrugs and readies himself. 'Although I've never played badminton before.' He then serves perfectly. Nina hits the shuttlecock but fails to hit it above the net.'

'Wow! Nice one Lee.' Damon compliments the lanky boy.

Damon serves to Dani and a short rally begins, however it is quickly broken when Lee scores another point. Lee continued to score another two points, but his streak is broken as Dani earns a point for the dogs.

'Alright!' Dani cheers, pumping her fist into the air. She serves next and manages to score her team a point through an ace.

'Come on guys! Don't slip up now, you actually have the lead!' Stephanie yells to her competing team mates. Resulting in an eye roll from Lee.

*Confessional*

(Lee)

Lee: Stephanie sure is a pain in the ass. I didn't think there would be quite so many mean people here.

*End Confessional*

The game continues as Damon earns a point for his team, followed by Dani earning another two for hers. Damon copies, gaining two more points for the cats. After a long rally, Lee picks up his game and successfully earns three points in a row.

'The score is ten to the Crazy Cats and four to the Deadly Dogs!' Chris announces. 'The cats just need one more point to win it.'

Lee serves it and a long rally begins. It is broken when Nina surprisingly hits a successful drop shot and earns a point for her team.

'Yes!' Nina squeals in amazement.

*Confessionals*

(Nina)

Nina: I actually got a point!

(Cyel)

Cyel: She actually got a point?!

*End Confessionals*

The game picks up as Nina serves, unfortunately for her, it is then put to an abrupt end as Lee returns it and neither girl is able to do the same.

'And with that, the Crazy Cats get their second win! Just one more win and they win the challenge!' Chris announces.

'Alright, high-five!' Lee cheers, high-fiving Damon. 'Woo Hoo!' The shaggy haired boy cheers as he rushes over to his celebrating team.

*Confessional*

(Damon)

Damon: That was Lee's first time playing badminton?! He's like a badminton prodigy!

*End Confessional*

[Further down the beach]

'Alrighty then.' Chris gathers the two teams' attention. 'Next up is the canoeing challenge. The two teams will each row out to that buoy, way out there.' Chris points to a small speck in the distance. 'You must then manoeuvre your way around it and head back to shore. The first team to reach the shore wins. Now, Chef says the randomiser has chosen Connie and Saph to represent the cats. Dogs, who have you chosen?'

'We've decided to let Ashton and Carmela take on this one.' Iris says, the two nodding in agreement.

'Great.' Says Chris. 'Both pairs get yourselves ready and work out your positions.' Chris continues, before Ashton and Carmella walk over to the closest canoe and Saph and Connie head for the further one.

'I think you should go at the back. You have the arms for it.' Carmela tells Ashton.

'Are you sure? I don't think I can push it in though.' He states his concern.

'Don't worry, I'll push. I can just climb over you when we get in the water.' Carmela says with a smile.

'Uh, okay...' Ashton agrees, looking unsure. The camera pans over to the other pair.

'So who is going where?' Connie asks the shorter teen.

'You can go at the back. Your calves are huge, they're more than enough to push us off.' Saph says with a smirk. Connie stares with her mouth wide in shock.

*Confessional*

(Connie)

Connie: My calves are great! (Muttering to herself) Stupid little ****. (Looking back at the camera) But I am not gonna let that pathetic brat get to me.

*End Confessional*

The two teams ready themselves in position.

'On your marks, get set, go!' Chris shouts.

Connie manages to push into the water first and the cats start to row, gaining a small lead. It doesn't take long for Carmela to successfully push the dogs' canoe in and clamber over Ashton to sit in the front. The teams quickly become neck and neck. However, the dogs pull ahead and move to block off the cats, who begin to slow down even more.

'Come on, pick up the pace, Saph!' Connie yells.

'Hey, I'm trying. This is just tiring!' Saph yells back.

*Confessional*

(Saph)

Saph: It wasn't that tiring, but I would rather have been in that position. I mean, come on. I was in the front row to the hottest guy here. Of course I got a little distracted.

*End Confessional*

The dogs are on their way back to shore whilst the cats are struggling to turn around the buoy.

'Guys, hurry up!' Stephanie yells from shore.

'Was that Stephanie?' Saph asks, stopping rowing.

'Who cares?! Just keep rowing!' Connie yells, the two managing to start their return to shore. But the dogs reach the shore before the cats even make it halfway back.

'Nice job, you guys!' Nina says as the dogs rush over to congratulate Ashton and Carmela as they step out of their canoe.

'The Deadly Dogs have won the event! Which means whoever wins the next one, wins the challenge.' Chris announces as Connie and Saph arrive at shore. They walk up to their disappointed team.

'That was pathetic, I don't think you are strong enough to be here.' Sigurd states to the duo.

'Hey!' Stephanie yells at the large male. 'We can still win this! Maria, Luke and Trina just have to win the relay.' The rest of the team then look at the three nervous contestants yet to compete in an event.

'We've lost.' Garvin says, earning a slap around the back of the head from Stephanie.

'He is right, though.' Sigurd agrees, causing the blue haired girl to sigh.

*Confessional*

(Stephanie)

Stephanie: I try to motivate people by being aggressive. It doesn't work. I try to motivate people by being positive and hopeful. It doesn't work. I really lucked out with this team, huh?

*End Confessional*

[At the campfire]

'So Dogs, your only competitors left are Collin, Cyel and Armando. Cats, your only competitors left are Luke, Trina and Maria.' Chris announces as the six teens step forward. 'Your event is the relay. It will begin here, the first runner must follow the laid out course to their next teammate at the other side of the lake. That runner must then make their way to the cliff where the last member of their team will be. The final runner must return to the camp fire to win. Now choose who is doing which legs of the race.'

'Okay team.' Iris gathers her team into a huddle. 'I think Armando should go first, seeing as he is our weakest runner. Then Collin and Cyel can do the next two.'

'Okay, I'll go last.' Cyel offers.

'Yeah, I'm cool with going second.' Collin says.

*Confessional*

(Cyel)

Cyel: I really should try and prove I am a strong competitor, otherwise I am pretty sure I'll be on the chopping block, if we lose tonight.

*End Confessional*

'Alright team.' Stephanie begins. 'I think we should have Trina go first, then Maria and then Luke. That way the weakest won't have too much impact on the second leg and our strongest runner can make up for it in the last leg.'

'Yeah, that sounds like a good plan.' Maria agrees.

'No it doesn't.' Sigurd interrupts. 'We have to get Maria to run first, then Luke can make up for it and Trina can keep a pace going. It is a much better plan and I am sure the other team will do the same.'

'You think?' Maria asks.

'Of course. If we go with my plan we might win, Stephanie's plan will definitely cause us to lose.' Sigurd explains.

'Well I don't wanna lose. I say we go with Sigurd's plan.' Trina says.

'What?! This is ridiculous!' Stephanie exclaims. 'Luke! You agree with me, right?'

'Honestly?' Luke starts. 'I think either plan is good.'

'Then it is agreed! We go with my plan!' Sigurd announces.

'Maybe we should do a vote.' Damon suggests.

'No. We're going with my plan!' Sigurd declares, leading the three runners to Chris.

'Okay. The two starters will stay here. The other four will be taken to their starting points by Chef.' Chris announces. 'Speaking of, here he comes now!' Chris adds as Chef arrives in a golf kart with Dawn. Dawn steps out and walks over to her team, revealing her right arm in a cast.

Nina gasps. 'Your arm is broken?!'

'Yeah.' Dawn sighs. 'I have to have it in a cast for the duration of the competition.'

'Ooh, unlucky.' Nina sympathises.

'Tell me about it. So how are we doing?' Dawn asks.

'Both teams have two wins. We need to win this event to win the challenge.' Nina explains.

'Huh.' Dawn nods. 'Well we're screwed.'

*Confessional*

(Cyel)

Cyel: Dawn's broken her arm? I guess I'm not on the chopping block tonight. (Fist bumps and then composes himself) But still, I guess it won't hurt to try and win.

*End Confessional*

'Okay, everyone is in position.' Chris announces. 'So, Armando and Maria, head over to the starting line.' The two do so and both stand a little awkwardly, waiting for the race to start.

'Good luck, Maria!' Rosalyn calls to her shorter team mate.

'You can do it, Armando!' Ashton calls to his nerdy teammate.

'On your marks, get set, go!' Chris yells and the two teens begin their run.

Maria obtains an early lead as the two approach the lake, however she starts to tire as they begin to run around the curved lake edge. Armando manages to keep a steady pace and soon overtakes Maria as they get halfway across the lake's length.

'Sorry, but I really need this win!' Armando calls back to Maria as he begins to gain more distance. 'Maybe you should have paced yourself more!'

Armando manages to hold a steady lead but Maria starts to catch up as he sees Collin waiting. He manages to pass on his baton and Collin begins to jog on ahead. Maria then arrives and passes her baton to Luke.

'Thanks!' Luke calls back to her as he begins running after Collin. Luke manages to near Collin as the two enter the woods. His catch up is hindered when he hits his head on a low hanging branch. Collin turns around as this happens.

'Haha! Sorry, hippy boy. You should pay closer attention to where you're going!' Collin calls back, tripping over a branch after soon after.

Luke looks up to see the handsome teen on the floor. 'Yes. This is my chance.' Luke says to himself. He catches up and just passes Collin as the pretty boy stands up and begins running after him.

Luke arrives at the cliff and passes the baton to Trina. Straight after, Collin passes the baton onto Cyel, who runs after Trina.

'You're going down!' Cyel calls after Trina.

'Yeah right, I ain't losing to some snobbish British dude!' Trina calls back. She notices the dark haired boy nearing her and pulls on a branch and lets go so that it flings back and hits Cyel in the face.

'Ah, you little witch!' Cyel yells, rubbing his sore cheek and stumbling to get back up.

Trina follows the track back to the camp entrance when she feels a tugging on her arm. 'What the...' She turns around a little too late is pulled to the ground. She looks up to see Cyel running towards the campfire.

'I said you were going down!' Cyel calls back to her. 'Literally.' He adds as he arrives at the campfire.

'And Cyel wins it for the Deadly Dogs!' Chris announces, the dogs cheering as he does so. Chef arrives with the other four runners and Collin and Armando join their cheering team. Trina then walks over with Maria and Luke to their disappointed team.

'Great plan, Sigurd.' Stephanie sarcastically says to the tall teen.

'It was the best chance we had, I did well with what I had.' Sigurd defends himself.

'What's that supposed to mean?' Maria asks Sigurd, looking offended.

'You know.' Sigurd says.

'Crazy Cat's.' Chris gets the team's attention. 'You'll be joining me here tonight for the first elimination ceremony where one of you will be going home.'

*Confessionals*

(Garvin)

Garvin: I can't wait to see the back of Stephanie tonight. Man that chick's annoying.

(Sigurd)

Sigurd: I may have annoyed some of my team. Perhaps I should remind them of my usefulness.

(Stephanie)

Stephanie: I could vote for pretty much anyone on this team. But I think I can convince more people to get rid of Sigurd, starting with the three sanest members on my team.

*End Confessionals*

[Outside the Crazy Cats' cabin]

The teens are all leaving the cabin and heading to the mess hall when Connie, Rosalyn and Damon are pulled to the side.

'We need to talk.' Stephanie says.

'Great. Can we do it whilst we eat?' Connie suggests.

'No.' Stephanie replies bluntly. 'Look, you three are the only people on this team that I feel I can trust.'

'Aww, thanks.' Rosalyn says.

'Which is why I trust you to vote off Sigurd tonight.' The blue haired girl explains.

'Well I was going to vote for him anyway.' Damon says. 'I mean it is his fault we couldn't choose which of us did the events.'

'Yeah.' Rosalyn agrees. 'Not to mention he gave me a killer head ache in the rock climbing event.'

'Well I was struggling between Sigurd and Saph.' Connie admits. 'So I guess I'll go with Sigurd.'

'Great!' Stephanie cheers. 'Thanks you guys. Now lets go get something to eat.'

[Inside the mess hall]

The Deadly Dogs are chatting amongst themselves, celebrating. The Crazy Cats, or at least the eight in the mess hall, are eating quietly.

'We must eliminate Stephanie.' Sigurd announces, standing up.

'I agree with Goliath over here.' Saph says, pointing to Sigurd.

'I'm up for it too.' Lee adds.

'What about you?' Luke asks the tall teen.

'What about me?' Sigurd asks back.

'You've been as big a bummer as Stephanie, dude.' Luke says.

'Plus your relay plan totally back fired on us.' Trina adds.

'I still think Garvin should be an option.' Candy argues. 'He was super mean in the volleyball game, even if it was to the other team.'

'Oh please, I'm more of an asset to the team than you are blondie!' Garvin yells.

As the team begins to argue amongst themselves, the other four arrive.

'So what did we miss?' Stephanie asks, receiving silence from her team as they go back to quietly eating their food.

(Bella)

Bella: We're only two days in and their team is already falling apart at the seams. Halfway point, here I come.

[The Campfire at night]

The Crazy Cats are sat on four logs by the fire, facing Chris.

'You have all casted your votes in the confessional.' Chris begins. 'In a minute, I will call out your names. When your name is called out, you will come and collect a marshmallow. But here's the catch. I have eleven marshmallows and twelve campers. The camper who does not receive a marshmallow is the camper with the most votes. That camper must immediately leave the show via the Loser-Bus.' Chris points to a run down school bus.

'What happened to the nice ones we arrived in?' Lee asks.

'Yeah, they were just rentals. We couldn't afford to rent something that nice for a month.' Chris explains. 'So we chose a much cheaper and more degrading mode of transport for the losers.'

The campers all sigh.

'Now then, our first marshmallow goes to Lee.' Chris announces as the boy walks up and collects his marshmallow. 'I also have marshmallows for Damon, Connie, Luke and Candy.' The four teens collect their marshmallows in turn. 'The next marshmallows go to Maria, Rosalyn, Trina and Saph.' They collect their marshmallows and stand with the others. 'So we are down to the last three campers; Stephanie, Garvin and Sigurd. The three of you were the only ones to be voted for tonight.'

'I expected this.' Sigurd says. 'I did have her conspiring against me.'

'Oh, get over it!' Stephanie snaps.

'Oh, I will. When I watch you leave on that bus.' He gives her an evil smirk.

'Garvin, you're safe.' Chris says, interrupting the bickering teens.

'Alright!' Garvin cheers as he runs up and collects his marshmallow.

'The last marshmallow of the night goes to...' Chris pauses for suspense.

'Stephanie.' Chris calmly says.

'Yes!' Stephanie cheers. 'Bye-bye Sigurd.' She says as she collects the last marshmallow.

'This is ridiculous!' Sigurd growls. 'How could you keep her over me?! Well, you'll regret this! I was your best shot at the challenges! Pretty soon you'll all be going home too!' Sigurd finishes his rant and storms into the Loser-Bus, the bus shaking as he does.

'Sheesh, touchy.' Damon says.

'I know, he has some serious issues.' Rosalyn agrees as the bus drives away.

'Well there you have it, folks!' Chris announces. 'Sigurd has become the first camper to leave the show. But who will be next? Find out next time on Reality Campers!'

(A/N) - Finally up! Yes, I know it has been two and a half months since the first episode. But it is done now. I won't bore you with the details as to why this took so long, just know it was out of my control. But I have used my spare time efficiently and have a plan for the duration of the story. I know the elimination order, key friendships/rivalries, most challenges and a few random things. I would appreciate a couple more challenge ideas if people have any. I know a few of you wanted the balancing challenge, but it is the kind of thing that would be great to watch, not read. So that challenge will not be used, thanks for the suggestion anyway, buddythecat. Finally, I have had a few requests for greater detail on the character's appearances. I will try to do it but I think it would be easier to just focus more on the story than go back and edit. If anyone would like to help me greatly and try to draw them and put them on a site like dA, then that would be much appreciated and you can PM me if you want to do that. Don't worry, I know that is a lot to do so I don't expect much of a response (if any). Finally, I want to do an intro but I don't know what to do for it. If you have any suggestions for what your character (or any character) could do in it then please let me know. Well that's it, please leave a review, it keeps me motivated and it was those few I had from the last chapter that fuelled me to keep this story going.
