Sunlight.
Sometimes, it was simply quite annoying. Often, it could be worse than an alarm clock. For Blake, however, it was comforting. Perhaps it was because she was a cat faunus, but the warmth of the suns rays peering through the curtains was better than any blanket or any bed that could've ever been made.
Maybe that's why she was resting on the floor, curled up into a fetal position and fully bathing in the light. It was a bit unorthodox, and the red carpet wasn't exactly the most comfortable in the world, but Blake didn't care. She'd sleep in the spot forever if she could.
Unfortunately, nothing good could last forever. Despite being the closest she could ever achieve to innepiece, Blake still felt the urge to wake from her comfortable slumber. It wasn't like her to oversleep, even on a weekend, so her instincts kicked in. "Mmrph..."
Her body screamed at her to lay back down, but she resisted. It was like her body weighed as much as a boulder as she lifted herself up, using her hands and then her legs to move herself from the ground. Still very much groggy, Blake tripped over her own legs and fell onto the bed with a thump,
"Ow..." Her disheveled black hair covered her face. Lazily, Blake tried to move it with her own breath, but she only succeeded in covering her face with more hair.
Lazy failure at its finest.
It was only then that Blake noticed she wasn't wearing any clothes. Under normal circumstances, she would have blushed profusely and rushed to cover herself. However, after last nights... intimate activities with Yang, Blake would have honestly been surprised if she was wearing anything at all. Her teammate had thoroughly made sure that Blake was completely satisfied. Their session had been so intense, that neither of them could move after it was all done. Yang had actually fallen asleep on top of her, which felt better than it should have.
Just thinking about last night brought an intense blush to Blake's face. She had given her first to her own friend, and it was likely that it was Yang's first time as well. The only reason she had any doubts was because of how... experienced she seemed to be. It was as if Yang had intercourse a hundred times before Blake, which would explain her thoroughness...
No, that was a bit far. Considering it was Yang, she could've likely picked up knowledge from the internet. Or from her father...
Bad thoughts, Blake! Bad thoughts!
That begged the question though, where was Yang? She wasn't anywhere to be seen in the room, though Blake spotted her teammates normal clothes haphazardly folded on a chair. Her own clothes were still sprawled onto the floor, untouched from last night. Even her precious ribbon had laid askew on the carpet, Blake plucked them from the floor, inspecting them, particularly the pants and underwear.
'Can I still wear these...?'
Well, they were definitely dry, but they also... smelled.
'Nope.' Scrunching her nose, Blake dropped them back onto the floor, placing a mental note to wash them later. She still needed something to wear, though, and hopefully not soil them. She'd rather not humiliate herself in a public space.
In any case, Blake's faunus ears picked up the sound of running shower water, through the bathroom door. Since Yang wasn't anywhere else in the room, unless she was hiding under the bed, she had to be taking a shower.
Thinking about Yang in the shower, it didn't have nearly the amount of effect on her as it would have yesterday. Instead of overbearing lust, it was only a slight embarrassment. That proved that their time together last night had worked, though along with it was a barrage of new problems they'd have to face.
Well, that could wait a little longer. After all, a hot shower did sound very nice, and it wasn't just her clothes that smelled.
Still, she needed something to cover herself, lest she let Yang see her naked under non-sexual circumstances, so Blake grabbed the beige comforter from the bed and wrapped it around her body. Heavy, but concealing.
She tried to ignore the white splotches splattered over the exterior, knowing full well where they came from and feeling embarrassed because of it.
'I should've brought another outfit with me...'
It only took a few minutes before Yang exited the bathroom, wrapped in a white towel and shower steam evaporating behind her. She noticed the blanketed Blake, sitting on the edge of the bed and staring at her, and grinned.
"Mornin', sweetie."
Blake groaned. "I'd appreciate it if you'd forgo the jokes today, Yang." Still nothing, Blake could afford to feel easy for a moment. "Especially since we have a lot we need to talk about."
"Party pooper, but you have a point." Still smiling, Yang sat beside Blake, save a few inches between them, possible cautiousness on the brawlers part. "So... you feeling anything?"
"No. Our... experience last night did wonders for me. I'm not all over you like I was yesterday." A blush stained her cheeks, though she spoke calmly. "Overall, we determined that just once per day should be enough, given your... intensity last night is repeated."
"Heh, I do my best to please." Blake rolled her eyes. "That, and I kinda didn't want to go at it twice a day. Once is plenty enough."
"Whatever works, we're fine for now." Yang looked relieved. "But enough about that, we need to figure out how we're going to approach this 'issue' in the future."
Yang sighed and leaned back on the bed. "Your body sure picked a helluva time to get all hot and bothered. We're just starting to get the hang of things at Beacon, we got classes almost every hour for the whole day, the freaking Vytal Festival is only a handful of weeks away..." Her friend trailed off, appearing to mull over their situation silently. "Yeesh, we got our work cut out for us."
"That's putting it lightly..." Blake groaned. "So you understand, but I'm fearing what we'll have to go through each day. Being at Beacon puts us at a huge disadvantage, and I don't want to even think about this popping up during a class..."
"Yeah, it's gonna be a nightmare," Yang saw it fit to strip off her towel and begin dressing in her normal outfit. "but we can't worry about it all the time, can we? We just have to set up a contingency plan... for the next few years."
Blake didn't like how uncertain Yang sounded. "At best, we can only hope to plan ahead for the next four to six weeks, but this kind of thing is unpredictable on its own." Blake slid her knees up to her face and rested her head on them, wearing a downcast expression. "Not to mention, we'd have to keep this secret from Weiss, Ruby... and pretty much everyone else in Beacon, for that matter."
"Rubes and Weiss I agree with, Oum forbid you taint my sisters pure maiden heart with our lewd misdeeds," For some reason, Blake felt tempted to punch Yang for how she phrased that. "And Weiss is... Weiss." They nodded in unison there. "But we can't limit this to just our little secret." Yang slid her gloves on, as Blake gave her a weird look. "I mean, we're definitely not gonna tell our teachers about this, that's how the worst rumors start, but don't you think we should go to Ozpin at least? The guys weird, but he looks like the type who'd go easy on ya and keep his mouth shut."
"You have a point, but..." Blake blushed suddenly. "T-That'd be far too embarrassing..."
"No shit, but this is your health we're talking about here." Yang finished dressing up, and gave her faunus friend a hard look. "I can live with having sex with you once every day, because I know it's for your sake in the end, you need it. The last thing I want, though, is anything serious to happen to ya under my watch. Who cares if we tell Ozpin? I'm sure he'd give us an exception for our little agreement here."
"Mm..." Yang was right. She'd prefer not to admit it, but Yang was right. "Okay, well... let's see how this plays out first. We'll give it a week at the least, and if it flies out of our control, we'll talk to Ozpin, okay?"
"Mmmph... that's fine, I guess." Yang didn't look happy with Blake's reluctance, but she complied regardless. "Well, whatever, you can take your shower now."
"H-How you'd know?"
"Blake, I can smell you all the way over here." For reference, Yang was halfway across from where the bed was. "I mean, it doesn't smell that bad, but... you know." Yang didn't finish that statement, but it didn't stop the intense blush on Blake's face.
"Y-Yeah, whatever..." The faunus girl mumbled, making Yang laugh. "Just wash my clothes while I'm in there, okay?"
"Sure, sure." Yang nodded easily, as Blake resigned herself to the bathroom for her refreshing shower.
...
...
...
After that little adventure in body cleanliness, the duo decided to leave the cramped space of their rented room and explore the hotel. Blake hadn't gotten a good chance to really look at it last night, raging estrus and all, and now that she could look at it clearly...
"Yang?"
"Yes Blake?"
"50,000 lien for a hotel room?!"
Merely glancing at the bill of their singular two-night room made the faunus girl realize how high end the hotel actually was. Her eyes were bulging out of their sockets, close to popping out and rolling onto the carpeted floor when she saw the price. Well, it was a wonder there were barely any people in the hotel, you'd basically have to plunge your life savings just to afford a room!
"Huh... well, would ya look at that." Yang herself looked utterly unconcerned, simply smiling and shrugging. "Guess I should've picked a cheaper hotel, but... you know."
"Yang... Yang..."
"Alright, alright, I went to this place on purpose. No way Yang Xiao Long is going to settle for a below average hotel that's crawling with bugs and creepy old men. Yech..." She made a disgusted noise and physically shook, as if the very thoughts repulsed her.
"That's not the point, and you know that. How in the hell did you afford this? You don't have a job, and certainly not enough on your own to pay for this."
"Ehehehe..." Suddenly, worryingly, Yang looked guilty. "I maybe might've sorta copied Weiss's credit card information a few days ago to pay off some loans."
"... Okay, aside from the fact that you can get arrested on the spot if Weiss found this out, I'm kind of scared to ask what kind of loans you had that were so urgent you need to steal said heiresses info?" Blake droned.
"Bah, it's fine, it's fine." Yang waved off Blake's question easily. "She's got more zeros on her net worth than I do on my report cards. She'll never notice."
"That answers literally nothing." Blake droned.
"Oh look, they have an indoor pool!" Instead of satiating her curiosity, Yang ignored that entirely and tried to direct her friends focus to one of the hotels pleasantries. Blake, of course, was having none of it.
"Yang, I'm serious, this can land us both in big trouble if you don't- Is that a sushi bar?"
"Yup."
"..."
"They also have a book store, and the new volume of Ninjas of Love just came out on full stock~"
"..."
Yang smiled broadly. The fight had been won.
"... Well, I'm sure she won't miss a couple thousand lien."
"Took the words right out of my mouth."
...
...
...
Many lunches and questionably-rated romance book buying later, Yang and Blake made their way to the indoor pool. Scarcely populated, since it was the type of place where a slice of bread cost five hundred lien, so they were allowed to relax in relative peace. Since the room was warmer than the rest of the building, possibly for added effect, Yang had slipped into a tight yellow-on-black one-piece, which of course emphasized her breasts and she flaunted them proudly (despite no one being around for said flaunting). Blake, not being the exhibitionist type, went with a simple black bikini and a white summer shirt, unbuttoned. On her person she carried a plate of leftover sushi and a bag of freshly bought novels. The faunus girl sat on a beach lounge chair, while her blonde friend went straight to the pool.
"Really? You wanna go to the pool and sit on the side?" Yang gave her friend a perplexed look, as Blake took a resting position on the chair.
"You wanted to go to the pool, I just wanted a nice place to start my new books."
"Whatever fluffs your tail." Yang grinned and proceeded to cannonball into the pool, before Blake could say that she, in fact, did not have a tail. Even if she did, it wouldn't have been fluffy. It would have been neatly groomed, perhaps with a little black bow on the end to match the one she wore on her head.
Ultimately deciding that conversing with Yang was too tiring, Blake reached into the bag and pulled out the newest addition to the series she loved so. With glistening eyes, she put the bag next to her chair, carefully placing the plate of sushi on her lap, and opened the book to its first page.
With just the first chapter alone, Blake was hooked like a fish on bait. The last volume had ended in the worst way possible, a cliffhanger. Asuka, the main protagonist, had received a love confession from Homura, her former worst enemy and longtime rival, and before the reaction could even be set, the book had ended. The new volume had immediately picked up on her (admittedly amusing) reaction, and before she could even collect herself bam! Yumi, her other former enemy, had jumped in out of nowhere with a confession of her own!
Dual! Confession! Brilliant!
By the second chapter, Blake cold feel the drool drip from her lips as the story began to get... saucy, for lack of a better word as the two love rivals battled intensely for Asuka's affections, losing... clothing as a result. Her cat ears twitched in excitement from imagining it, the drool dripping down onto her chest. She didn't even bother trying to clean it up.
'Ruby's definitely going to want to borrow this...' Blake thought, cringing in advance. Her fearless young leader wasn't as innocent as Yang liked to affirm, since Blake always found her books hidden oh so discretely under the girls pillow. Whether it was breaking the spine of her hard-cover copies, or creasing the pages on her paper-back copies, it led to Blake utterly not trusting Ruby with her books, and it somehow turned into a little game between them. Blake would hide her books in a new spot every day, and Ruby would always find a way to find them again.
Battle of the perverts, as Yang would say.
Chapter three was when the actual smut began, and it came strong. A lovely blush sprinkled across Blake's cheeks as the novel became lewder and lewder. By chapter four and five...
"..."
Well, if there was anything the Ninjas Of Love novels were infamous for, it was their exquisitely detailed smut.
"Blaaaaaaaaake!" Speaking of erotic and exciting, Blake's very own teammate had left the pool some time ago and was now hollering her name. Startled, Blake fumbled with her book and dropped it on the floor.
Good thing it was a hard-cover.
"Sheesh, two pairs of ears and you still couldn't hear me? It's been like, an hour." Yang looked a bit irritated with her. She looked as if she had walked through a hurricane, her usually vibrant blonde hair sticking to her head a shoulders like glue.
"A-Ah, sorry..." Blake apologized a bit meekly.
"Eh, it's cool. I get your smut is high quality writing material, but swimming all alone can get boring, yeah?" Blake didn't even want to dignify that comment with a response. "Come on, why don't jump in with me? I'd joke about you having a fear of water, but we both know how much you like it when you're wet~"
"! Y-You-!" Her blush reaching record high temperatures, Blake jumped onto the seat and took a crouching position.
"...? What are you-"
"HIYAH!" She then proceeded to pounce onto Yang like a cat, surprising the girl and sending them both into the pool with a loud splash.
"Blblbl... Phew!" After a few seconds, Yang raised her head above the water for air, with Blake still clung tightly onto her. "W-Whoa girl, retract those claws, will you?"
"That's what you get for making such an awful joke." stated Blake dryly, before letting go of her friend and backpedaling away. Her black ear-hiding bow had fallen off during the dive and was bobbing aimlessly, causing Blake to snatch it before it got lost. "Also, just so you know, cats are actually good swimmers."
"I knew that, duh." Yang rolled her eyes. "Honestly, you get so worked up over every little thing sometimes."
Blake swam towards the end of the pool, leaning on its edge as she gave Yang a dull look. "I only get worked up when it's you saying every little thing. You can only go so far with puns and sex jokes before everyone starts shaming you."
"Hahahahaha, trust me, I've heard plenty of 'Goddammit, Yang!''s in my day, but they know they love it. I'm a class act!"
Blake finished readjusting her bow as she scoffed at that comment. "I'd say class clown, but adding you in there would bring shame to their name."
Yang rolled her eyes. "Everybody's a critic..." She then swam up next to Blake, put her arm around her shoulder and pulled her close. Their bodies were touching... "Well, whatever. Ruby'd totally vouch for me."
"Maybe if she was a decade younger, but you're talking about the same girl that keeps stealing my books and draws lewd pictures in class all the time." Speaking of lewd, Blake's eyes were focusing less on Yang's face and more on her breasts.
"Tainted! She was tainted by the evils of Beacon, I swear it!" Yang swiftly defended Ruby's innocence, which earned her an eye roll from Blake.
"Well, you can live in that bubble all you want. Though..." Blake found herself leaning on Yang's bare shoulder, silently relishing how smooth it was. "Imagine if I had actually done it with you sister instead..."
"Yeah... I mean, I would've killed you if you tried to touch my Ruby like that, but it's fun to imagine." Yang's protective side shined brightly, and it was scary. "Still, it's a neat coincidence you ended up with me, I'd say. It would've been hell to maintain had it been anyone else. It could've been Pyrrha, Nora, Velvet... hell, even some of the boys. Jaune, Ren, Sun, or for heavens sake, Cardin..."
Blake shuddered violently. "Don't even joke about that." Just imagining that scenario made Blake suppress the urge to vomit.
Yang laughed. "Eh, I guess it worked out for you in the long run. Speaking of..." She noticed the stares Blake was giving to her chesticular area. "Happening already?"
"... More like it's starting to." Flushed, Blake moved away from her. "I-I... I'm starting to think about you..."
Yang sighed. "Alright, well it's not gonna do us any good to just sit around here. Let's get back to the room." Blake nodded in agreement, and the two left the pool. "Oh, but first, lemme get our clothes. Be right back!" With that, Yang left to the locker rooms, leaving Blake alone to shift around uncomfortably. Her estrus was beginning to kick in, causing Blake to rub her legs together with a blush. "I'm never going to get used to this..."
That was a bit of a silly thing to assume, Blake getting used to being helplessly horny every day. At best it was inconvenient, at worst it would be serious trouble for both of them. Did Blake feel guilty? Of course. Faunus biology or not, Blake knew she was just causing trouble for Yang.
There was no telling what the future held for them. Blake could only hope it would turn out for the better.
"..." For some strange reason, Blake couldn't help but feel she was being watched. Curious, her eyes darted around the entire room, finding nothing, until she locked gazes with the mysterious entity.
A bird. Specifically, a raven. Perched on a diving board, of all things, it was still and stoic. Blake wondered how it was there, the windows were sealed shut and neither she nor Yang saw a bird fly in.
"..."
"..."
The raven stared at her with its oddly red eyes, and Blake stared back. She was feeling pretty uncomfortable for some reason...
"Alright, let's head out!" At that moment, Yang sauntered back with their normal clothes slung over her shoulders.
"Okay..." Nodding, Blake followed behind her friend out the door, to their eventual lewd misdeeds. Before she left the room for good, Blake looked back, but the raven was gone. Like some mirage, or another synonym more fitting.
'Well... that was weird...' Blake didn't fancy herself as the paranoid type, but she could've sworn that raven was giving her a look something fierce. Was it some type of Grimm? No, that was silly, it looked like a normal raven, save for the red eyes.
Ah well, Blake couldn't focus on it for much longer. Yang had successfully taken her back to the hotel room with no hassle. Of course, she closed and locked the door as Blake settled on the bed. The cat faunus felt her stomach hurl once Yang stripped down, the familiar wetness between her legs building up as her body started aching for Yang. The blonde fighter approached her in a similar vein as she did the previous night, crawling up onto the bed and approaching Blake like a predator, never breaking their gaze. She started by kissing Blake's neck, causing her to utter only the slightest moan as she lay on her back. Yang's arms moved up from Blake's legs onto her chest, where she swiftly unclasped her black bra, tossing it aside and grabbing her breasts. That was when it got wild between them.
"A-Ah, Yang...~"
"Blake...~"
Unbeknownst to the loving teammates, a familiar bird was watching outside the window. Standing on a tree branch, the red-eyed raven examined the scene with calculating eyes, never leaving until the two had finished their love making hours later, then did the raven fly away into the evening horizon, its destination unknown.
