Freedom
Her captor was disguised as a loving figure of a father. He caged her in a room so lavish to hide the simple fact that she was in a prison cell- but she knew better.
Everyday felt like she was being executed. Smothered by the strict rules and suffocated by the room that grew small as she grew up.
She was thankful at least that he was considerate enough to allow her a small window in her room, which serves as her breath of fresh air; though it was not so refreshing to see the jealous gazes of the people outside as they stared at her.
They looked at her as if she was a princess living in a castle. How she wished she could trade places with them, to let them know how she was nothing but a mere prisoner.
Review maybe? :)
