I do not own Jackie Chan Adventures
10 years later Bai Tza POV
``it has been about ten years since I adopted Maum.' I thank to myself as I look to my left to find my son in his sea blue robe with a white pattern matching the patterns on myself, adorning his golden crown marking him as the prince of my kingdom setting in a meditative position.
He is a natural prodigy when it comes to magic. His desire to learn all forms of the art is beyond impressive according to Tso Lan. The two of them get along quite will exceptionally when they start talking about alchemical formulas.
Still, there are a few siblings I do not wish to have my son near, namely Shendu. Other than that I have only one problem which I believe I have found a solution to. I love being a mother and since I am immortal and my son is not I have used my alchemical knowledge to simply stop his aging process making him my child forever.
I smirked evilly at the thought. After it is his birthday today, so now is the perfect time to give him my little gift. I also still need to prepare the celebration and invite my sibling with the exception of Shendu. Just the thought of my draconic brother near my son angers me.
'No matter soon everything will be in place.' She thought to herself as she left her throne room and headed towards her alchemy laboratory with plans to make a very special potion.
The ingredients for this particular potion are extremely rare but nothing I could not get my claws on and with my mastery of alchemy I am sure everything will go according to plan.
I also take some time to personally write the invitations to my brothers and sister. Personally, I can't see why others have servants wright for them. Then I begin to work on my alchemical potion to stop my son from aging completely.
'Undoubtedly my son is most certainly in my library right now read or experiment will whatever spell has caught his interest. His desire the master all forms and even create his own forms of magic is most impressive. `` I think to myself as I get to work on the position, combining the rare ingredients into a large cauldron.
One the potion is properly brewing I let out a light hisss in satisfaction. Then I cast a spell sending the invitations to the desired siblings. I still need to inform the servants to prepare a proper feast.
Normally I would wait until the celebration before giving my son his gift but I feel it is best to do so as soon as possible so no one will know and possibly attempt to steal my creation. I began to make my way towards the library where my son most likely is reading.
As I make my way to the library with what appears to be a cup of tea in hand. ' Well, technically it is tea just with a potion mixed in. But that doesn't matter soon my son will be immortal just like myself and along with today's other festivities, this day will be one to remember to say the least.' I even give a purr of excitement at the thought of what the future holds.
One I enter the library which is magically protected since most of my place with a few exceptions is filled with water. One I passed through the barrier protecting the library.
Once I entered I found several practitioners of the magic ats all of whom bowed to me as I moved through the library looking for my son. Once I finally made to the center of the library I found him sitting at a large wooden table covered with a large variety of books.
I slither up and set the silver cup of tea beside him. "Mom, I thought I felt your presence," he said looking up to me.
" Yes, and I know how much enjoy studying magic but it's time for you to prepare for your birthday celebration. But first I would like you to drink this tea ." I told him pointing at the cup I just placed next to him.
He looked at me for a moment and then picked up the small cup of tea and started to drink it. It only took him a couple of drinks to finish.
"Thank you, Mom, the tea was very good but if I may ask why did I have to drink it all right now?"
"That tea contained a potion I've made just for your birthday, I will let you discover the effect for it shall become apparent in times to come," I told him knowing he will find out what kind of position I added to the tea when he notices his aging has stopped completely.
"Ok mom," he said giving me a hug before we head back to the throne room. I can't help but to return the hug for a moment before reminding myself that there are others in the room. Not that it matters really since I have always scholars shown favoritism to the scholars of my kingdom.
Regardless I must be in my throne room to great my siblings once they arrive. One we entered the throne room I took a seat on my large Throne made of the corral while my son sat meditating in what resembled a large clam.
I sat there with my son for some time and I am starting to get very angry. "Hisss where are they this late!" I hissed out but then a guard being slammed through the large doors and that grabbed my full attention. I quickly moved my tail to block any possible attack aimed at my son. I sent a look of pure anger as a large group of cloaked figures lead by an older man holding a Gourd.
"BIA TSA YOUR REIGN IS OVER!" Yelled the man as he started chanting while his followers split and began attacking my guards. I quick-charged at him in an attempt to end this quickly while keeping an eye on my son, making sure no harm comes to him. However, the man leaped over me with an amazing amount of grace for one his age. However, I managed to smack him across the back with my tail but he did to my annoyance landed on his hand then did a flip before entering a fighting stance.
I quickly shot a stream of water at him but the only thing it managed to do was make a small pit in my throne room floor and granted him the opportunity to kick my face. "GRAAA SUFFER!" I yelled as I try to render the flesh from his bones with my sharp claws.
The human managed to dodge my attack and this time managed to hit me with a good chi spell causing my scales to burn like fire. It was the nI notes the chanting in the background. I quickly got up from the ground hissing at my foe in anger.
"Mom!" Yelled my son which caught my attention. I saw two humans trying the grab my son who was fighting them back with his own magic.
I quickly dove strat for my son who I did not wish to be apart of this combat and grabbed him. I had hoped to free this fight and fight another day but then the chanting stopped.
"Grabbed the child" One of the men yelled." I wanted to kill the man who did that slowly but a quick slash of my claws tore out his vocal cords and he died silently screaming.
It was then a large blast of good magic hit me and my son and then our surroundings changed for the worse.
