These might be kind of confusing. The first one, Cliff, is really metaphorical. Cliff is about Jason and Familiar is about Percy.

Okay, cliff is jason when he's just starting to remember things, and he feels like he can start to remember things, and then he just loses the thought.

familiar is Percy thinking of all the things that remind him of what he once had from his old life before camp Jupiter.
